Peach & Lily Mini Review! #CheriePartner

Oct. 19
I wanted to review these two products from Peach & Lily that I've been trying for the last two months!
1. Peach & Lily Skin Shield Blurring Primer
This Skin Shield is an awesome way to follow up your SPF! The consistency is a little sticky and it makes my skin feel super hydrated and plump! It helps to protect against daily environmental stressors like pollution, blue light, and internal stress, which can lead to persistent dark spots, lines, dullness, or breakouts. I spend so much time (in my day job and blogging job) in front of the computer and my phone--so I was super happy to add a step to my skincare / makeup routine that protects my skin from the blue light of these devices. Active ingredients include:
Aloe Vera - helps calm tired skin that has received excess sun exposure
Bamboo Extract - protects skin from oxidative stress and strengthens skin's barrier
Strawberry Extract - a potent source of vitamin C and known for its skin-brightening, sebum-balancing, and anti-inflammatory properties
I would totally recommend this product if you spend a lot of time in front of the computer like me! It does have a bit of a sticky texture--so I'd maybe not go for this if that's something that bothers you! As a primer it wears really nicely under makeup and gives me a dewy look (which also may bother you if you have oily skin). But since I have combination skin, I think it leaves a really beautiful finish.
2. Peach & Lily Glass Skin Veil Mist
I have tried this veil on bare skin as well as on top of makeup! It is a non-toxic, silicone-free hydrating mist that "delivers an instant glass skin look". You can spray it throughout the day to keep skin replenished with "hydration, antioxidants and calming ingredients". These ingredients include:
Cucumber Water -
soothing and rich in antioxidants
Lotus Extract
 - combats free radical damage from sun, pollution and stress
Peach Extract - full of vitamins, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids to help keep skin firm, radiant, and resilient
Reishi Mushroom -
A powerhouse adaptogen - helps combat visible signs of damage, inflammation, and redness
I am usually a huge fan of the Urban Decay setting sprays--but this feels SUPER different. The mist is really fine and it feels more like a refreshing spray than something to help your makeup last longer. I would reach for this product to finish my makeup when I want a more natural look and I only need my makeup to last a couple hours. It definitely has a skin like finish and the cucumber smell is to die for!
Peach & Lily are all about transforming your skin with good, clean ingredients to look poreless and luminous. I really love trying products from tis brand because they put skincare first--something I've gotten way more into in quarantine! I would totally recommend trying them out if you're looking for a new brand to combine skincare with awesome active ingredients!

A Year in review!
A Year in review!
This year has definitely been a wild ride. I’ve learned so much more about my hair and skin in this last year than I ever thought I would or needed to know! All the way from using witch hazel and not paying attention to my curl pattern, to staying completely fragrance free with face products and staying away from harsh toners and paying attention to what my hair was trying to do! Using this app has really opened doors for me that I wouldn’t thought possible for my beauty process! I can’t wait to see what more years bring me, and us! Thank you @cherie!

What is the product? Avène - Thermal Spring Water Spray How does it work? Thermal Water works by soothing the skin and calming any irritation What are the notable ingredients? Mineral Spring Water What is the price? $18.50CAD Where can you purchase? Shoppers Drug Mart, Rexall Pharmacy and online How long have I been using it for? I’ve been using thermal water for over two years, I started off using this product on my body and now still use it on my face What is my experience ? My experience with thermal water has been good, I suffer from eczema on both my body and face. It was hard finding products that wouldn’t irritate or cause a flare up. When that happened this product saved my skin and soothed it. At first I was not exactly sure how water would help my skin, but after doing research thermal waters are meant to have healing properties for the body and skin. What are my thoughts? This product is nothing short of amazing, you are able to use it for multiple areas and it lasts so long. The mist is super fine which makes it perfect for spraying on large or small spots, and pressing into the skin similar to how you apply a toner. Would I recommend to a friend? I would absolutely recommend this product to a friend or family or even someone looking to help soothe their skin but who doesn’t want to break the bank!! My overall rating? 5/5 Would I repurchase? I have and will continue to repurchase this product until I find something that exceeds how amazing this is! #CheriePartner

GRWM! New products and some old!
GRWM! New products and some old!
Hello everyone! I did another GRWM using some new and old products! First I started off with a primer. I used e.l.f. - Poreless Putty Primer I was actually really surprised by this. It reminded me of Tachas silk canvas primer. It went on smoothly and did a good job of blurring my skin. I will say though after I looked at my makeup in the mirror up close it did settle a bit into my pores and my creases and was pretty noticeable. Overall I think this is a good product and will work for people with smoother skin. e.l.f. - 16HR Camo Concealer Then I used the elf concealer. I love this concealer. I’ve used it so many other times in my other videos. WINKY LUX - Diamond Powder Foundation Then I used the winky lux foundation. This actually went on so nicely and was super natural looking. I love how it’s so weightless and decreases shine. I would recommend this for people with oilier skin. the CRÈME shop - "Macro Brow" Angled Brow Pencil + Spooley Then i used macro brow. This is just to fill in the last bits of my eyebrow to look fuller. It’s easy to use and has a great price point. I just wish the pigment was a little easier to apply. You have to push so hard. RITUEL DE FILLE - Rare Light Crème Luminizer My favorite brand of highlighters ever. Just so pretty and pigmented. All natural and cruelty free. An amazing brand overall. 💞 fresh - Sugar Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF 15 I used a tinted fresh lip treatment. Love the way they hydrate and the subtle color it gives off. They also smell and taste really good 😂. Hope you enjoyed getting ready with me! Let me know if you have any questions about the products I used.
