I had seen this concealer lauded on every beauty platform I lurk in, and I have to agree with the hype. It would cover your blemishes and circles if the dewy cops came knocking. It would absolve your sins if you’d been late to church for a year. It would keep those secrets from your mom when it comes to visit during Thanksgiving. Note before continuing: I would call this a medium coverage concealer because it doesn’t banish all bumps and acne scars into another dimension, but it does cover and blend in a natural and yet strong coverage for a $5 concealer. I have peach for dark under eye circles and the light concealer for spots. I put it on and honestly my eyes look so bright it weirded me out. This concealer also layers well. I’m going to be buying this again. So if you see the hype, it’s cause this is so good for a drugstore price!
L.A. GirlHD Pro Concealer
Say hello to my secret to flawless skin! This concealer is my all-time favorite!!! It has solid medium coverage with a satin finish (which explains the “radiant” in the name) and makes my skin look perfected! For a day to day look, I only feel the need to apply it under my eyes. But if I want more coverage, I’ll apply an extra stripe on each of my cheeks and buff it out with a fluffy brush. (There’s probably only 2 days each month that I’ll wear foundation or tinted moisturizer and for the rest of the days, it’s just concealer.) This is perfect for those in-between days when I want a little more than just concealer under the eyes but don’t want a tinted moisturizer all over my face. Definitely check this out in store if you get a chance! It lasts 12+ hours and looks flawless all day!!!

you can get this concealer for less than $10 and it works better than most I’ve purchased for $30-$40! I have very dry skin so the hylarunic acid in this formula works wonders for looking smooth under the eyes and not creasing. It also has amazing coverage! #COLOURPOP - Pretty Fresh hyaluronic concealer

omg I can’t stop using this concealer guys! For those who know, I have oily skin and holding everything in place is already difficult so getting a lightweight formula that still has coverage and works not only to cover any dark spots but my under eyes is a game changer for me 🤗 So I bought this on sale (FYI I still think it’s in the sale section) and I received this after hearing pretty good things about it (not raved about which tbh I prefer)👍🏽 and the shade seemed too dark to highlight but I still wanted to make it work🤔 I then decided to use this under my eyes as the first step after my foundation to help correct the darkness (learnt this technique from Jackie aina) and I have to say, it’s amazing! 🥰 apply just a small amount under my eyes first and blending that out really helps cancel out the darkness (also this specific shade has a orangeish tinge rather than being too yellow) After blending it, I got in with a brightening concealer and wow oh wow does my under eyes look awake but no longer will the EVER look grey or dark 🙅🏽♀️ I’m in love! Once I set this, I just forget it and I legit have no creasing, it’s THATS good! 🥳 If you guys have been meaning to try any coverfx product, I highly suggest their power play line cause WOW #COVER FX - Power Play Concealer

I’ve been organizing and decluttering my collection and it got me thinking what were the complexion products I’ve been picking up the most? 🤔 Here are my top picks: 1. Kosas Revealer Concealer (Tone 7) : this is the most comfortable concealer I have ever worn! As I get older, my under eyes are more sensitive and I need products that are going to keep them nourished 💖 2. Elf Hydrating Camo Concealer (Medium Beige) : instead of color correcting with an actual color correct, I like to use a warm concealer with balance out discoloration. This concealer does that while also keeping my skin hydrated ✨ 3. Undone Beauty Unfoundation Glow Tint (Almond Latte Medium) : this is the only skin tint I have that doesn’t add more oil than I already have, while also being lightweight 🙌🏽 such a beautiful product! 4. Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Hydrating Foundation (320) : If I want to get dolled up (which I haven’t done in a while lol) I want to wear something that will look good on camera but not make me look cake-y... this is the foundation for it 😍 5. Kosas Tinted Face Oil (Tone 7) : this tinted moisturizer surprised me because I thought I was going to look like a shiny, oily egg. Surprisingly it does not! The oils sink into the skin so beautifully like a nighttime face oil and it’s beautiful!
If you’re like me, you’re on a budget. I am paying off student loans and am currently saving for a wedding, so every penny I save helps me with my future goals and paying bills. I know we can’t always afford organic products that are uber expensive, so I am sharing one of my favorite drugstore concealers that actually work. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Concealer This is a very soft feeling concealer that helps with my little wrinkles around my eyes that I absolutely hate. On top of feeling amazing and looking amazing, it is something I can afford, even being on a budget. It works as well as a designer brand but for much less. You can choose a color that matches your undertones, and it will sit nicely under most foundations. There is a built-in applicator on the tip, which I also love because I don’t have to buy an extra brush for concealer. Neutrogena SkinClearing Blemish Concealer Another one of my favorites because this is a skincare brand that focuses on making products that help your skin not hinder your skin. This will cover all imperfections without clogging them or making them look worse. It will help heal your acne, scars, and any other defects that need healing. This formula has salicylic acid in it that helps your skin heal. Revlon PhotoReady Candid Antioxidant Concealer Lastly is Revlon. A famous line that is in most local drugstores, this brand carries some of the best concealers. I tried this one day in a pinch on the way to a date with my now fiance. I had to cover up a small pimple, and this worked like magic. I stopped in really quick. I applied it directly to my problem area, blended it with my fingers, and then totally disappeared.
MAYBELLINEInstant Anti Age Eraser ConcealerFor dark-deep skin tones
#CherieCreator LAST PICTURE IS ALL THE PRODUCTS ON MY FACE ✨ The Nars Natural Radiant Foundation (Macao) has been amazing for my oily yet dry skin. It’s so lightweight and full coverage. And matches me PERFECTLY! The Milk Makeup Kush mascara is so good! I have no lashes and it makes them so long! Especially on my non existent lower lashes. The Elf hydrating concealer (Tan Neutral) is a really good highlight shade for me it’s bright yet neutral in the best way! (Deep Chestnut) Is more of a corrector for me it cancels out all the darkness on my face. And it’s not too drying :) And last but not least! The Fenty Beauty Powder in Banana is truly a bomb powder! It’s easily replaced my favorite powders.
e.l.f.Hydrating Camo Concealer
So I posted similar to this one with my highlighting shade. These concealers are closer to my skin tone shade. The #e.l.f. - Hydrating Camo Concealer[products]#[FourStars] (color: deep cinnamon) was a STEAL! I got it from Walmart for $6! I saw a lot of rave and reviews about how magical this cheap concealer was so I decided to give it a try. Honestly love this concealer the only negative is, CREASING.I hate for my under eye concealer to crease especially since I have eye wrinkles. Other than that the coverage was full & the consistency was beautiful! The #it Cosmetics - Bye Bye Under Eye( color: deep rich) ) is my HG for under eye concealers ! When I want a basic look (with no highlight) I use this & it covers my under eyes seamlessly & it DOESN’T CREASE! The only downside is this concealer is $27 (for the 0.4oz depicted above) or $12 (for 0.11 Oz) , this has lasted me a year and a half .. which is why some of the label has rubbed off. Overall I think #e.l.f. - Hydrating Camo Concealer is a great concealer for my other skin areas such as cheeks and forehead, but #it Cosmetics - Bye Bye Under Eye is my always go to for my under eyes because I care about coverage of dark circles and creasing!

The best sunscreen for dry skin☀️
Y’all… Let me tell you how dry my skin gets. My skin gets so dry that it looks like my skin is actually flaking. I have struggled with dry skin my entire life and I hardly find any products that truly help my skin. I reached out to a friend who gave me a skin care routine and she suggested this sunscreen PURITO - Centella Green Level Unscented Sun SPF50+ it is honestly the best! Not only is it scent free but it hydrates my skin without burning it. I have high sensitivity to a lot of products and this is one that doesn’t make my skin irritated or break out. If you struggle with dry skin, try out this sunscreen! Not only does it help with the dryness but also you should always be protecting your face with sunscreen!!!

I’m so obsessed with this packaging. What products should I post a review on? 💫
DON’T try these at home!
With so many self- proclaimed beauty gurus in the world today, it’s very easy to get sucked into the DIY trend. Most experts and skincare specialists will tell you these homemade concoctions are not as good as they are made to be. Here are 5 ingredients you should not put on your face and why. 1. Essential Oils- The fragrant portion of plants is what makes essential oils. Modern science has revealed how fragrant oils cause problems for the skin. In the long run components in essential oils can significantly irritate and damage the skin. 2. Lemon Juice 🍋- Lemons are extremely acidic, which will irritate your skin. You can experience excessive redness, dryness, and skin peeling. Using lemons on your skin can cause more damage then benefit to your skin. 3. Coconut Oil- This ingredient causes a lot of debate amongst my followers, but fact is a fact, coconut oil is highly comedogenic. This means that the oil clogs pores on your face. When you apply coconut oil to your face it lays on the surface and is not able to be absorbed into the skin due to its large molecules. It can cause breakouts, blackheads, and whiteheads. 4. Witch Hazel- Here is another debate stirring ingredient. A lot of my patients and followers swear by witch hazel because of its immediate results on absorbing oil on the skin. What they fail to understand that it is not only absorbing the excess oils, but it is also stripping your skin of its natural oils. This can be very damaging to your skin and it’s natural protecting barrier, causing unnatural sensitized and dry skin. 5. Toothpaste- Such a popular trend and so harmful to your skin. Toothpaste contains high levels of baking soda which will mess with your skin’s ph level. This can lead to redness and burning of the skin. Toothpaste is a horrible option for your blemishes and instead I would recommend THE inkey LIST - Succinic Acid Acne Treatment As tempting as it is to try natural remedies at home, do your skin a favor and resort to stabilized and researched ingredients and products.
CMON MADDIE..... Really ? 😒
okay so i’m sorry for the light this week but i’m working on a work station. However this Morphe Maddie palette isn’t doing it for the me. In my opinion I believe to pull a good palette together is blend ability and good shimmer or glitters. The shimmers on the is so trash 🗑 sorry to say. i literally had to dig for a good creamy shine. However it isn’t a complete miss. The other colors did have some good pigment and my fav shade is the black shade. It was really dark and blendable. I would probably recommend this to someone with more fair skin because they pigments and shimmers would work better in their favor. Have you used this palette if yes tell me all about below, if no would you still wanna try it out and why ?
