I love a great solid routine. It’s empowering, important and overall a healthy lifestyle to get into. 
With so many people moving into skincare I think it’s important to share proper skincare tips and how to maximize your results! 
1. You're using the wrong prodcuts for your skin type
This is a great chart to show skin type. When addressing your skin, it best to know what products work for you! I find a lot of people use products that do not fit their skin type. You must start with your
Cleansers:
Acids: 
Moisturizer:
2. Youre applying your products in the wrong order.
This is my go to fail proof guide to applying skincare. The only thing I change is my retinol order. Since I use Differin Gel Acne Treatment, I like to layer it on before my moisturizer. If you have sensitive skin, stay with this order! When layering serums, its important apply from the most water based to oil based.
3. Not wearing sunscreen everyday.
Yes, sunscreen is needed! You should wear a minimum of SPF15 (indoors) and SPF30 outdoors. The best sunscreen will say broad spectrum, which mean it protects from UVB (ultraviolet B rays) & UVA (Ultraviolet A) rays. I also recommend looking for a sunscreen that protects againt Blue Lights (my favorite brands are Elemis & Tula). Alot of people will put maximum effort into their skin, just not to see results. Sun damage can hinder you results tremendously! I will say that higher SPF does matter! According to the skin cancer foundation, the higher the SPF the more time it takes to burn and shields you for a 1% higher chance of UVB radiation! (www.skincancerfoundation.org).
4.Not washing your pillow cases enough.
You should wash you pillow cases at least once a week (more if you have acne prone or oily skin!). I wash my entire bed linen once a week and my pillow cases twice a week. A lot of oils and dirt stay one your pillow case (even if you do wash your skin twice a day!)
5. Your diet sucks
You are what you eat is a motto I live by. It's proven that your gut health has a direct correlation with you skin. If you eat high sugar content foods, greasy foods, and over excessive amonts of dairy it could had negative effects of your skin. When i changed my diet (cut our sodas, moderated my dairy intake, moderated my greasy food intake, & drank the recommended 8 bottles of day of water my skin improved tremedously)!
6. You're stopping at your jawline

You should be applying whatever you apply to your face to you neck and chest! I see alot of peiple stop at their face and think they've done everthing correctly .. wrong. You should always be sure to get everything!

I applied it all over my face & neck. Once that absorbed, I applied Umbra Tinte Daily Defense SPF 30 over my face & neck & was done! I love how the kit comes with steps to walk you through different routines you can use in the morning or at night! I will do a follow up review after I have used all the products for a few weeks! But so far, my skin feels & looks great! I have been breaking out lately & haven’t felt the best about my skin so I really needed this pick me up!! Thank you for reading! I have been loving the brand Truly lately ✨ I recently purchased this: 🍃TRULY - CBD Jelly Toning Solution 🍃 And it’s by far one of my favorite toners. Ingredients: 💚100MG CBD 💚Glycolic Acid 💚Tea Tree Oil 💚Organic Aloe 💚Rose Petal Extract This brand is also: 💚Vegan 💚Cruelty Free 💚Clean I use this every other night and it as tremendously helped my skin barrier and acne. I was really concerned about the glycolic acid irritating or drying my skin but it didn’t at all 🤩 I highly recommend this to combo and oily , acne prone skin. I bought this mascara after seeing a post about it on Facebook. I love trying out new mascaras but rarely do I find one that I will use regularly like my beloved tarte - Maneater Mascara However this stuff is good. MAYBELLINE - Lash Sensational Sky High Waterproof Mascara It gave my lashes so much volume & length they literally doubled in size! My lashes are already pretty long to begin with but this made them look amazing. The photo is after applying only one coat so I can only imagine how good they will look after two or three coats! It also didn’t clump up my lashes at all. I applied it really quickly & lazily too because I was in a rush to get ready & I was still amazed! I honestly think this is going to be my new daily mascara. It is waterproof but not the annoying kind that leaves your eyes completely black when you go to take it off. This past week has been rather hard and long for me. I ultimately decided to get back on track with my wellness plan. My main wellness goal for 2021, is to indulge in myself more. I definitely am a firm believe in “as within, so without”. I started my day with: #Four Sigmatic - Mushroom Elixir Mix with Chaga[products]#[FiveStars] I have been getting back into adaptogen and herbal medicine. What we put into our bodies is just as important as what goes on the outside. Adaptogens are apart of ancient medicinal traditions traced all over the world. I also drink Tulsi “Holy Basil” Tea. If you need a pick me up or emotional boost I highly recommend! SUNDAY RILEY - U.F.O. Ultra-Clarifying Face Oil is my treatment of choice I used during the day. Do not be afraid to use salicylic acid during the day. I applied plenty of sunscreen afterwards as well! This is a GODSEND for clearing up acne and acne scarring. It’s by far the best acne treatment I’ve tried and its mostly due to the immediate results I get. This is a dry oil, so it should be used before a heavy moisturizer or sunscreen. THE BODY SHOP - Spa of the World Thai Makrut Lime Firming Oil is a staple in my night time routine. When I want to relax and really unwind I use a body roller with this oil. It smells like a fresh key lime pie and it’s so hydrating. This is great for firming, especially when paired with a body tool. What do you do for wellness?
