☀️AM Skincare Routine Hey guys! I wanted to share my AM skincare routine to see if anyone might have any suggestions for me, and to help others out! A background on my skin: My skin is very sensitive and can be acne-prone, but typically does very well with my current skin care routine. I also have combination skin, with some dry areas but I also have large pores on my cheeks (thanks genetics). Products: - Cerave - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin | ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I LOVE this face wash! It really cleanses my skin, but I don’t find that it dries me out. I think it works really well for sensitive skin. - PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA (Salicylic Acid) Liquid Exfoliator | ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is a product that I think has truly transformed my skin! It has noticeably made my skin much smoother than it was before I started using this product, I highly suggest it to anyone with acne-prone skin. I use this product 5 times per week. - Neutrogena - Rapid Clear, Stubborn Acne, Daily Leave-On Mask | ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I like using a BHA and Benzoyl Peroxide combo to prevent acne. I think this product is fine for a Benzoyl Peroxide product, but would certainly be open to new suggestions! - Cerave - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin | ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is the BEST lotion I have ever used on my face! I find it to be great for my sensitive skin, and I love how hydrated and glowy it makes my face look throughout the day. - Cerave - Eye Repair Cream | ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I really like this eye cream because the second ingredient is Niacinamide, which is great for under the eyes due to its brightening and soothing qualities! - PURITO - Centella Green Level Unscented Sun SPF50+ | ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I really do love this SPF and use it daily, the ingredient list is amazing, and it smooths onto my skin so nicely. I do think that it may cause me to break out sometimes on my cheeks though. So other SPF suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Here, @juliachristine shares her skincare routine with us! She lists the different products from her saved list and tells us how she feels about these items.
Any suggestion? Rate my new routine🙌🙌 Heyyyy guys! I'm 24, a postgraduate student in CA. I have combination skin with acne on my chin. I hate ance and wanna change my routine products😿!!! After doing some research on Cherie, I have saved some of the Ordinary products. Hope this post could help you a lot!! And it would be sooo great if you guys could give some suggestions about these items. - The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG | ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ this eye serum is so popular on Cherie. I have some dark circles under my eyes, and wanted to brighten them. I cannot live without drinking and playing video games in the midnight, so I really need eye serum to save my life lollll - The Ordinary - "Buffet" + Copper Peptides 1% | ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I'm not sure about the effect of this product. The official website said it works for all skin types. - The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA | ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My friends told me it's the best one for the price. Is it real?😂 - The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution | ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This one contains 7% glycolic acid, amino acids, aloe vera, ginseng, and tasmanian pepperberry. I don't know what are they actually lolll. - The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution | ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I think this item is super powerful so I need to try it more cautious- shorter amounts of time and only once or twice a week. I think it's more suitable for oily skin : ) Any suggestions for my new routine products? Hope it can help you find your favorite products lol. Thank you sooo much xoxo!!This is another great example from @wanggg who shared her new routine products from her go-to list. Before introducing the product information, she shared her skin type and concerns, which will help others choose the products they like!We would love to see what your current saved products are and what your routine is looking like right now! Thank you for being a part of the Cherie community and helping us all learn from one another. Happy posting 🎉 !
How to build your skincare routine
How to build your skincare routine VOL. I - for many people getting into skincare it can super confusing (even as a professional it is) 😳 • Therefore I’m coming out with a series to help anyone who needs some guidance on where to begin 😉 • 3 parts: Step 1 - addressing your skin concerns! Step 2 - doing some research on different brands, ingredients, products to use or even consulting a professional and Step 3 - buying the essentials and not splurging 🤷🏽♀️ • Many esthetician’s and dermatologists offer consultations to clients who need help or guidance so check the ones in your area to see if that’s an option for you 👏🏽 • Not splurging is KEY! The last thing you want to do is drop $500 on products, only to find out your skin doesn’t agree with them or you don’t like them 🥴 • Was this chart helpful? Are you excited about this new series? 💙 • What’s your beginner skincare advice for building a routine? ♥️ CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin PAULA'S CHOICE - Resist Advanced Replenshing Toner
My well-loved drugstore makeup essentials
These are the drugstore makeup picks I ACTUALLY use! Don’t get me wrong, I love a good Tarte Shapetape Concealer. Even the latest launches from Rare Beauty have me swooning. But drugstore makeup holds a special place in my heart. Walking through the aisles of Target or CVS gets me giddy. Quite honestly, I count those trips as my therapy sessions. Plus, these are the places were I started getting essentials to experiment with when I was younger! My favorite brands to score from are no doubt Pixi, NYX, Essence Cosmetics, Sonia Kashuk, Maybelline and Covergirl. They’re just my go-to’s! They’re the brands constantly putting out dupes for cult favorites. Everything in this picture, I use on a daily basis. I’ve been going through Maybelline Lifter Glosses like they’re going out of style. I actually was responsible for my local Target running out of stock once...oops. Another new essential that’s crawled its way into my everyday routine is the Covergirl Cooling Glow Stick. It’s part of their new Clean Fresh line and I use it on my WHOLE face. Top tip: try it under your eyes over your concealer 👀 I’m still in search for the perfect drugstore CC cream, does anyone have any good recommendations?
CMON MADDIE..... Really ? 😒
okay so i’m sorry for the light this week but i’m working on a work station. However this Morphe Maddie palette isn’t doing it for the me. In my opinion I believe to pull a good palette together is blend ability and good shimmer or glitters. The shimmers on the is so trash 🗑 sorry to say. i literally had to dig for a good creamy shine. However it isn’t a complete miss. The other colors did have some good pigment and my fav shade is the black shade. It was really dark and blendable. I would probably recommend this to someone with more fair skin because they pigments and shimmers would work better in their favor. Have you used this palette if yes tell me all about below, if no would you still wanna try it out and why ?
