The 1990s are well and over, but if you have been listening to 90s nostalgic music, then you may be interested in bringing some of those 90s make-up looks back into your routine. The key to bringing 90s make-up back is to select the most signature parts and intertwining them with the looks of today.
In the 90s, glossy lipstick along with brown- and berry-colored lips were popular. As far as eyeshadow was concerned, glitter and blue eyeshadows reigned supreme, and smokey eyes were popular, as well. On the other hand, no make-up looks were also very popular in the 90s, too.
Let's look at some make-up looks that totally embody the 90s.
Icy blue eyes and nude lips. This first look is classic 90s with a little bit of modern flair. The 90s was all about the glitter blue eyeshadow, and this look has that part down. This make-up look pairs a bold eyeshadow design with a nude lip.

Natural look with brown eyeshadow and brown lipstick. The 90s also gave rise to the no make-up make-up look, and this is a great example of it. The no make-up look essentially means that the goal is to look as natural as possible and have make-up enhance your features rather than distract from them. This look features natural-looking brown eyeshadow and brown lipstick.

No-makeup look with light eyeshadow and berry lips. This is another natural make-up look, and it's so deceptive that you can almost assume she's not wearing any make-up. She has a little bit of eyeshadow, accenting her hazel green eyes, and she is wearing a lip color that compliments her skin tone.

Natural eyeshadow and lips with heavy mascara. If you want to bring a natural look to this decade, then consider pairing the natural eyeshadow with a bold eyeliner look. This look, in particular, features a bold winged eyeliner with understated eyeshadow and glossy lipstick.

Blue eyeshadow and berry-colored lips. If I had to do the 90s all over again, this is one of the looks that I would try out. This look features a bold, blue eyeshadow and a berry lip with platinum blonde hair and straight bangs. It has the edge of the 90s with a little modern touch.

Light blue eyeshadow and nude lips. Finally, this last one combines both the natural make-up look and the frosted blue eyelids. This make-up artist has used a frosty blue eyeshadow on her eyes and paired it with a natural face otherwise for a unique, 90s-inspired look.

The 90s was an interesting decade because make-up looks were all over the place, but there are still some signature trends. If you are trying to recreate 90s make-up styles today, then you must invest in blue eyeshadow, quality mascara, and a collection of brown- and berry-colored lipsticks.

✨Cute Bun Hairstyle✨
Hi Guys!!! I recently saw this scrolling on Pinterest and I wanted to recreate it! It’s SO easy and took about 5 minutes total!! It looks so fancy yet it’s so simple! I have medium to thin hair but this can work on pretty much all hair types! (: (tip: spray texture spray beforehand) this helps it stay in better!)☺️ HOW TO: -I like to pull my bangs out first (: - you’re going to section it as if you’re doing a half up half down hairstyle -then you’re going to start twisting that part of your hair -I twist it around like I’m doing a ballerina bun😅 -then I secure it with a hair tie ❤️ -you can leave like that! Or I like to pull it out a little so it’s more loose!✨😊

There is 𝗻𝗼 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻 without 𝘀𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻. And, the 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗻𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 is the one that you will wear religiously. Is 𝗜𝗦𝗗𝗜𝗡 𝗘𝗿𝘆𝗳𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗮 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗨𝗹𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 tinted mineral sunscreen worth the hype? #Isdin - ISDIN Eryfotona Ageless Ultralight tinted mineral sunscreen[products]#[FourStars] Pros ☀️ 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 sunscreen aka physical blocker, thus broad spectrum ☀️ Contains 𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀, though unclear of percent. May provide protection against blue light. ☀️ One of the few tinted moisturizers that blends in well in skin of color. The tint is so homogenous and nice that you can away with not applying foundation after. ☀️ Contains 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗹𝘆𝗮𝘀𝗲, an enzyme, that help repair damage caused by the sun. Not too thick or too thin, apply easily on the skin. ☀️ contains 𝗩𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻 𝗘, an antioxidant as well as moisturizing Cons 🥴 𝗢𝗶𝗹𝘆, would not recommend for oily skin 😱 $$$ 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲, it is definitely a splurge when there are comparable more frugal options out there.
The Ordinary Empties and final thoughts!
The Ordinary Empties and final thoughts!
I believe it’s been almost 10 months of me using The Ordinary products and wow! I can’t believe so much time has passed! These 3 products are the very first products I ever bought to try and here’s what I think! The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% This serum I would buy again and again. And I do! I’m on my 3rd bottle! Because I usually wear glasses, my nose gets really really oily under the nose pieces which causes them to slide around my face A LOT. After using this serum, I’ve noticed that I really don’t get oily in that spot anymore thank god! My T zone is balanced and because of my oil production going down, I’ve also noticed my pores around my nose have shrunk dramatically. The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 This one I’m really on the fence about. I have definitely seen improvement in my face in terms of “wrinkles” which really were just a way of my face telling me I needed more moisture! However, the formula is soooo tacky that when I try to use it during the day it makes my sunscreen pill no matter how long I wait for it to settle in. Even though I hate the tackiness, I still bought a 2nd bottle! The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG There’s nothing wrong with this product. I just feel like it didn’t do much for me! I got it to help with my dark under eyes and puffiness but I don’t think it did much. If it did do anything, it was too gradual of a change for me to notice. Also, does anyone know what all this buildup is around the cap??? I guess we will see how long it takes me to realize it did help and I run to get a new bottle! For now, I think one bottle of this was enough for me.
Dry Shampoo white residue? Don’t worry I got you
Dry Shampoo white residue? Don’t worry I got you
I love a dry shampoo with a lot of powder because it is what is absorbing the oil to make your hair look less greasy. However, sometimes there is a little white powder residue that I can’t seem to rub into my dark hair. Simple solution 💡!! Shine spray! It makes it all blend away! Using: KLORANE - Detox Dry Shampoo With Organic Aquatic Mint REDKEN - Shine Flash 02 Shine Spray
