Time for you to Catch up with the Neon Trend
Jul. 29, 2020
Hot neon nails are a trend that seems to refuse to back down. It has been rumored that Paris Hilton hinted that she started the trend neon colors, we don't know if it's true or not. However, there is one thing that we are definite about and that is that these hot neon colors are defiant a go-go for nail paints.
Hot neon nail paints definitely check all the boxes of being cute, hot, energetic, and amazing all at once. What better way to bring motivation and energy than to apply it on your nails.
We are here to suggest some ideas that can help you choose the best way to apply those hot neon colors:
Well, these are both simple and easy, if you want to take it slow with neon colors, why not do a negative space base? If you are not ready for the neon committee, then don't go head in first, dip your toes in first, or rather should I say dip your tips in first.
There are many color options you can choose from like hot pink, bright purple, electric Cyan, and many many more. However, if you are a beginner and want to see some perfect results go for a basic electric yellow. You need to do the tips with neon colors and then draw a line of the same shape as your tip. Leave some space in between the two.
You can call this pattern "lemon tips" as well. A bit basic but beautiful design.
If you are in the mood for a big and bold step, go for the full neon lime nails. Not only does it make your nails look pretty and glamour it just bursts with color and confidence, they are a constant source of energy and motivation.
As you might know, seeing different colors has a different impact on physiology. The bright lime color radiates energy and happiness. Do try this idea if you want an extra boost of confidence and motivation for a few days.
For a girl, the transition from a cute young girl to a hot sexy woman is very important. The girl wants to have the heart and freedom to be careless and free but at the same time, she wants to embrace the beauty that is within her. Now, this is a dilemma that needs to be taken very seriously, what if we tell you, you can do both at once? Go for the Hot pink nails. Pink is a color of innocence and sweetness but the neon version adds a little spice to the mix. So, it doesn't matter what age you are, you can enjoy the best of both worlds. It just gives your nail the attention that they need and deserve.
For a perfect look go for more than just one coat.
Whenever you think of neon you don't just think of one color, many colors start sunning through your mind. You aren't obligated to choose just one color, live a little, be spontaneous, think out of the box! Choose more than one color.
Make boundaries in the shape of crescents around the nails with different colors or you can use a different color for each nail. This doesn't overdo the neon brightness and maintains a good balance of natural and color.

Self Care: Skin Roller & Sheet Masks
My new year skin-resolution is to use more sheet masks. Sheet masks are the best way to treat yourself to a moment of wellness and to give your skin a boost of hydration along with any treatments. I personally cannot stay still for 10-15 minutes, so my esthetician friends recommended that I use a facial roller with my sheet masks. This will not only keep my hands busy but enhances absorption, drain lymphatic nodes, and sculpt and tone my face. I found this great article from @SkinGym that shows you how to properly use facial rollers: 1. Start by using the larger stone and rolling upward (neck to jawline) 2. Sculpt the Jawline: Roll from chin to ear with upward rolling motion 3. Cheeks: Roll outwards from nose to temple 4. Under eye are: use the smaller stone roll gently outward from inner eye to temple 5. Forehead: use the larger stone roll outward towards the hairline. I repeat each step 2-3 times on each side of the face and repeat until serums in the sheet masks fully sinks into the skin. According to the article to get the best result you should be incorporating rolling into your daily AM and PM routine... but I’m still working on 2-3 times a week. Maybe in a month or so I can work my way up to once daily. Dr. Jart+ - Dermask Water Jet Vital Hydra Solution @cherie gifted this to me and I’ve loving this extra bit soothing hydration. They’re pretty inexpensive, ranging around $6-$9 for 5 masks. They’re formulated with patented aquasil component, hyaluronic acid and seaweed extract to provide intensive hydration. 🚫Dr. Jart+ is not cruelty-free they do test on animals when required and they do sell to mainland China which requires animal testing. #Blush Wellness - Rose Quartz Facial-Roller[products]#[FiveStars] This was gifted to me from Blush Wellness. They’re actually having a sale right now for $10. I usually pop it in the fridge or freezer for a few minutes to get them nice and cold whenever I want to get my “roll-on.”🤪 MICHAEL TODD BEAUTY - Soniclear Elite Antimicrobial Sonic Skin Cleansing System and MICHAEL TODD BEAUTY - Soniclear Replacement Serum Infusion Head I’ve also used the sonic clear serum infusion head and it works wonder as well! I’m looking at you MARIO BADESCU - Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater So what do you do with all the products that just don’t work for you? Here’s some ideas for recycling your beauty products 💡 Got some facial cleansers you didn’t love? Use them as a manicure/pedicure soak 💅 Let your partner or the teenagers in your life try them Try em out as brush cleanser If they are moisturizing/foaming they might work for shaving Scrubs/exfoliants you don’t want on your face? Use them as hand/foot scrub 🦶 Scrub up those knees and elbows Smooth your booty 🍑 Got some oils that didn’t make the cut? Soften up your knees and elbows Mix some with your body lotion to make it extra rich then slather it all over 🦵 Use it for cuticle oil, any oil works! If it’s cleansing oil try using it to clean your makeup brushes 🖌 Face masks you don’t like? If they are moisturizing they are perfect to soften feet, knees, and elbows Mud masks are perfect to help with buttne or backne! Toners have witch hazel or alcohol? Pop them in the fridge and use as a cooling body spray in the summer ☀️ Bronzer just not your shade? Mix it with lotion for sexy evening body shimmer If all else fails or your skin was sensitive to the product you can always gift to a friend/teen - my daughter and her friends always LOVED to get a bag of my cast offs when she was younger OR find a freecycle/random acts of kindness group OR a women’s shelter in your area to offer it to! What else do you do to recycle your unwanted products?? 💙
