With so many designs out there, from zebra prints to flowers and other gorgeous looks that can turn the most basic nail colour to something intricate, how do you decide the right design for you? More and more designs can be found online every year. Recently, we fell in love with the trend of starry designs. This design is so versatile that it was difficult to pick the favourite colour combo or the best look out of so many online.
Stars are generally used to describe positive things and emotions. Also, if you follow your horoscope closely and are a believer of the zodiac, you can incorporate that into your nails as well. Tons of creative and simple designs almost made it impossible for us to select the best ones. But we've scoured the internet to find some designs that you can manage on your own and if you're going to the salon, it won't cost you a ton of money to get it made.
Stars on Glow-in-the-dark Nail Polish
This is relatively simpler to the other designs on the list. This can also be your go-to if you are looking for a starry look for a child. Stars are drawn on in contrasting colour on a glow in the dark nail polish. Under blue lights, the glow in the dark polish will shine making the star look more visible and beautiful against it.

Mixing Marble and Star Designs
The marble and starry design have to be one of the most favourites out of all the designs because it uses two designs mixed to give one ethereal look. This design is classy yet still fun. Regardless of if you're an astrology nerd or not this design will look good and on different nail sizes too.

Dark and Shiny Combination
A starry night nail design is perfect for the dark nail polish lovers out there. Adding silver stars and silver glitter offsets against the dark colour in a gorgeous manner making the nail design looks very sophisticated. This design can be done in different colour combinations with changing out the glitter with a pink or gold one to fit your aesthetic.

The Instagram famous Milky Way
This Milky Way design gained significant popularity when it was introduced and for a while, every nail artist on Instagram was making their version of it. Even though it has died down a bit on the app it is still the go-to look for our astrology nerds. It has so many tutorials on the Internet that you are sure to find one that you can easily follow to create it for yourself as well.

Simplicity with Nude shades
This is another simple look that is good for those that love their nude shades. Just take your favourite nude shade and add some white stars on it for a simple yet cute design.

Light Coloured Nails and Stickers
Light nails are perfect for the spring but they can be used in the other seasons as well. If you want a design that incorporates your favourite light coloured polish with the latest trends, then this design is for you. Use any light polish such as baby pink and add star and crescent moon shaped stickers on to it for a starry night. You can also take a very thin paintbrush or a detailing nail art brush to draw on the constellation of your zodiac sign.

Constellations on Accent Nails
For our astrology nerds, we have another design. A bit more intricate if you opt for a design on every nail but simple if you want the constellation on just the ring finger. This can be done if any of your favourite colour combination making the nail design versatile.

Best Hyaluronic acid on the market!! 🍑😍
Best Hyaluronic acid on the market!! 🍑😍
I recently won this Plum Plump Hyaluronic serum by Glowrecipe in @cherie New Beauty Buys Giveaway!! ❤️ GLOW RECIPE - Plum Plump Hyaluronic Acid Serum I am a huge fan of Hyaluronic acids especially for Oily/Acne prone skin types and dehydrated skin. Hyaluronic acid. To the less beauty savvy, it may sound like something you don't want to put anywhere near your face (we all took chemistry lessons at school, just sayin...). But, what if we told you that hyaluronic acid actually holds the key to smooth, flawless and hydrated skin? Yes. It's actually a gooey substance that's naturally produced in our skin mainly in skin tissues and eye area which works as humectant meaning it draws moisture from surrounding into the skin and helps it retain the moisture by eliminating Trans epidermal water loss!! It's truly amazing and works at targeting many skin concerns mainly aging, dehydration and dullness and if used correctly it gives you that healthy plump looking skin. 🍑Now, What is this product?? Combined with vegan collagen and vegan silk protein, this lightweight, oil-free serum deeply hydrates dry, dehydrated skin and diminishes the appearance of visible fine lines for healthy, bouncy, youthful skin. 🍑 Key Ingredients: ✨Plum (3 types): Three antioxidant-rich plums - Kakadu, Illawarra, and Burdekin - hydrate, nourish, and rejuvenate skin instantly and overtime, and work together with hyaluronic acid for intense, juicy hydration and a youthful appearance. ✨Hyaluronic Acid (5 weights) A powerful blend of multi-weight hyaluronic acids (ultra-low, low, medium, high, ultra-high molecular weights) that deeply hydrates layers of skin for plump, bouncy skin. Multi HA has multiple molecular weights in one ingredient, and forms a 3-D sponge like film to hydrate each layer of your skin Tremella HA is obtained from fermentation of Tremella mushroom and is super high molecular level to reduce moisture loss on your skin’s surface Flashfill HA is a next-gen of HA that improves the bioavailability of the Hyaluronic Acid in the skin and lasts longer in the skin Bio HA is a powerful HA with moisturizing properties to help water retention ✨ Vegan Collagen & Silk Protein Potent, plant-based powerhouse ingredients that help support a healthy-looking skin barrier by guarding against free radicals and hydrating skin. ✨Vitamin B5 Helps to repair skin by hydrating, soothing, and rejuvenating, resulting in a healthy skin barrier. This serum performs so well on skin, it's not so sticky yet enough sticky to work as a good primer under makeup. It has made my skin look plumper and youthful in just two uses! I am using it consistently to see how my skin responds to it and I love it so far! As mentioned above, its silky formula and texture makes it really unique for a good 5 weight HA serum! Have you tried this serum??
Unfortunately this didn't work great for me! 🥺
Unfortunately this didn't work great for me! 🥺
I have dark circles and fine lines and I look for eye creams that target these concerns. Recently I won this Indie Lee I-Waken Eye Serum in Cherie Cheerleader prize!! INDIE LEE - I-Waken Eye Serum I'm glad to have put this to a test! I liked the liquidy thick serum consistency and the milky texture of this product. Unlike many other eye creams it's great for absorption in under eye area. I was expecting it to work amazing for me but sadly it did not! This is what the product details are: What it is: A hydrating, antioxidant-rich daily eye serum that addresses dark circles and puffiness, leaving skin with a refreshed and firmer appearance. Skin Type: Normal, Dry, Combination, and Oily Skincare Concerns: Dark circles, Puffiness, Dryness Formulation: Serum Highlighted Ingredients: - Horse Chestnut, Mountain Ash Bud, and Witch Hazel: Address dark circles and puffiness. - Chamomile, Arnica, and Cornflower: Help soothe the delicate eye area. - Hyaluronic Acid: Helps to promote long-lasting hydration. 🍁 My Experience: I experienced it's great for people with puffiness and under eye bags. It slightly flattened my under eye area but for my major concerns like dark circles and fines lines this isn't working as effectively as my other favourite eye creams do. This certainly doesn't mean it won't help my concerns in the long run or it may brighten my under eye areas slightly if I use it consistently. With my other eye creams such as Nuria eye cream and The Ordinary Caffeine solution I see difference in my dark circles in just little than a week but I gave this more time than that to see if it works for my specific concerns and it did not do well. I will post an update of 5-6 weeks of use!
Textured Skin?? 3 Tried & Tested Products!
Textured Skin?? 3 Tried & Tested Products!
Up until I really started understanding🤔my skin and how certain ingredients work... I always had textured skin due to acne, blemishes and lack of regular exfoliation. Well here’s my experiences from lessons learnt throughout the years for all those people who are on the same boat as I once was.. I’ve learnt the key🔑to smoother skin is knowing the underlying issue and the reason behind your skin’s uneven texture and incorporating exfoliants in a regulated skincare routine. ⁣ When treating the uneven skin texture, you need to ask yourself whether or not you are using exfoliants (both physical and chemical)? If your answer is NO, then you have bumpy skin and you need to start incorporating an exfoliant into your skincare routine. Lactic acid is a good place to start as it suits all skin types. However, what really works for my skin type (oily/combination) is Salicylic acid. Be sure to start with an exfoliant by using once or twice a week and only take it up to using it 3 times a week. No more than this please ☺️ ⁣ If your answer is YES, then ask yourself:⁣ “How many times am I using the exfoliants and how strong are they?” If you’re using exfoliants more than 2 to 3 times a week and you still have bumpy/textured skin then there’s a high chance your skin’s barrier is not happy. Work on repairing and strengthening your skin barrier by using products geared towards providing hydration💦and moisturization. Periodically, exfoliating definitely will help improve your skin texture! Here are some of ⁣My Tried & Tested Products for bump-free skin: 1. GOOD MOLECULES - Pineapple Exfoliating Powder 2. PETER THOMAS ROTH - Peptide 21 Amino Acid Exfoliating Peel Pads 4. dermalogica - Hydro Masque Exfoliant Follow & Glow! ✨ #cheriepartner ⁣ ⁣

These 2 Truly products were a hit & a miss for me. *☁️Before trying Coco Cloud, I was just using an unscented Dove soap bar to shave🪒 🧼— I know. I was really stuck in a rut for years-even though it wasn’t really working for me (including Venus razors) I think I was scarred by a few 2000s scented drugstore shaving creams that irritated my legs so much! 🍦🥥TRULY - Coco Cloud Luxury Shave Butter $20/4 oz What’s cool is the one I have is almost entirely Organic (only 2/10 ingredients aren’t & they’re Vitamin E & Coconut Oil (last on list) Now I say the one that I have, because I could not find a matching set of ingredients for this product on Ulta.com, Truly’s own website, or this jar (ordered from Truly) I included all 3 on the last slide. I remember seeing it on Ulta, but ended up purchasing on Truly. I wouldn’t have added to cart if I saw that ingredient list though! All 3 are wildly different, & that’s a huge problem, because although I found this product a total game changer, how can I confidently recommend it to you guys if one says it has retinol in it! (I have zero retinol experience) I’d really like to repurchase this with confidence, & it could be a mistake on the site, but Ulta’s differs so much from the product I received as well.. 💻Truly had responsive customer service before, so I’m gonna email them to ask... I might not have found out these discrepancies, but I didn’t know what “Organic Bath Whip” meant as the 1st ingredient, I think it means Glycerin & Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, but not sure how that could be organic? My experience: The Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Virgin Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil, Vanilla Extract, White Tea & Argan Oil, ARE ALL ORGANIC! The only other 2 ingredient are Vitamin E & Coconut Oil. 🥛I love that it’s naturally fragranced with real Vanilla!(personal fav) It smells so good, like vanilla coconut milk! It creates a nice froth & makes shaving super comfortable. Immediate results for me! No more razor bumps & irritated pores! I use the TRULY - Mini Gold Spoon + Satin Pouch ($5 each) to apply & keep sanitary, they’re perfect! Used w/: Venus Gillette - Venus Spa Breeze Razor With Refills Usually $8-$15 No complaints with the handle part, I’ve had the same one for years. Gillette - Venus Spa Breeze Women's 4 Razor Blade Refills Usually $15-$24 I’m switching to a more eco-friendly option, but it’s back-ordered. These don’t hold up for that many shaves before I have to toss them. Like 2, maybe 3- so the price adds up & the soap strips probably aren’t great. TRULY - Blueberry Kush CBD Body Scrub $33/6 oz with 300 mg CBD This product arrived pretty melted/separated & leaking. It was nicely refunded, but my rating is purely on how I feel about the formula itself: It smells very strong of candy, but once you start using it with water it smells kinda weird, like grass? Also leaves a yellow dye-like residue?
A glow from within✨
A glow from within✨
There was a point in my makeup discovery journey where I was completely obsessed with highlighters. I had to have all the kinds 😅 out of all the ones I’m left with, the L'ORÉAL - True Match Lumi Glotion Natural Glow Enhancer is something special. I love the formula of this product! It’s lightweight on my skin and it’s buildable. What I love most about this product though is the glow. It’s just perfect to me. The formula isn’t glittery, as you can see from the video, and the colour is opaque. It does look like it’s pink before blended in, but once it’s fully blended, you’re left with a lovely shiny sheen. I do highlight my Cupid’s bow as well as my nose, which was done super sloppy in the vid lol but it’s great for both because it doesn’t accentuate texture. 💭 Should you buy? Maybe! Depends on what kind of highlight you’re going for. I love me a shining from the heavens highlight but sometimes a girl just wants some minimalism, and this product for me, fits the bill. Also, something worth mentioning: L’Oréal is not a cruelty-free brand. This is something I, myself was not privy to prior to purchasing this product. I am now well aware of what cruelty-free means and no longer wish to purchase from L’Oréal until they become cruelty-free. If that’s something that’s important to you, then perhaps maybe this product isn’t worth it. It’s also worth mentioning that despite that, this is still a really nice makeup product. However, I’m sure there’s other products that are very similar!
