How Does It Go On? "Its 9:30AM and my lipstick meets its first challenge of the day - coffee! The first and last application of the day went on smoothly, and immediately absorbed into my lips. It was also easy to create clean lines without a lip liner."Is it sticky on your lips? "It was sticky to put on at first, the product is called a "lip fondant" and it looked/felt just like that. It really crept into the fine lines and dry spots on my lips and felt a bit dry for my liking."

Does it last through drinking/eating? "This lipstick did not pass the vibe check for a foodie. It transferred heavily onto cups, straws, and foods." Is the color still vibrant? "The color is still packing a powerful punch even in the afternoon! It has oxidized a good bit to give a more bright/orange toned look compared to the morning crimson I started with." Are you lips moisturized? "My lips were definitely struggling to pull off the matte look with this lipstick. However, It is not a moisturizing product, and I didn't fully prep for it (exfoliating, chapstick, etc)."

Does it look just as good? "From the moment I put on my makeup, its a countdown until my oily skin wins the battle. The lipstick was just the last product to go. It was pretty smudged from a full day of snacking and chatting." How long did the lipstick last? "The color remained rather pigmented throughout the whole day. However, this meant when the color smudged, it gave a not-so-cute red shadow around my mouth." Would you recommend for all-day wear? "I would, BUT, with proper reapplication at least 2x a day just to keep lines crisp."Lipstick 2: Mac Cosmetics Retro Matte Liquid Lipstick in High Drama

How does it go on? "10:30am - This retro matte liquid lip color easily glided onto my lips. The applicator is very unique because it points at the tip and makes applying in the creases a flawless application. I did have to apply at least two coats of color because it was splotchy in some areas after the initial application. You must be quick and precise when applying this lip color because it dries almost instantly." Is it sticky on your lips? "The texture is not sticky at all, especially since it is a matte lip color. The effect is more drying on your lips rather than sticky. However, for someone with dry skin I did have to adapt to the feeling of purposefully having 'dry' lips."

Does it last through drinking/eating? "2pm- Once this lipstick is on it barely withers. It has officially been 3+ hours and my lipstick shade has not smudged. I have been drinking straight from this cup and I had lunch as well. There was no transfer from lipstick to cup whatsover." Is the color still vibrant? "The shade that I am wearing is pretty dark to begin with and it has a mattecoat, so it never really started off "vibrant". However, the shade does look just as plum as it did this morning." Are you lips moisturized? "My lips are very far from moisturized. I must say, my lips were pretty dry throughout the day and the cracking began very minimal then increased near the end of the day."

Does it look just as good? "On a scale from 1-10, this lipstick rates at a 7 by end of day. It does look just as good. However, there was one small crack going down the middle of my lip and I did receive some transfer from lip to chin after eating dinner." How long did the lipstick last? "The lipstick lasted from 10:30am-8pm (approximately 9 hours). It could have lasted longer, but I was ready to add moisture to my lips at this point." Would you recommend for all-day wear? "I would definitely recommend this for all day wear. It's matte properties help with a longer stay and I never reapplied (not once) throughout the day. What better all day wear than a lipstick that doesn't need multiple applications throughout the day."Lipstick 3: name - Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick in Amazonian
campaign, cherie
How does it go on? " loooove the applicator of this lipstick! It's tapered which allows you to get good lines without needing a lip liner. For a drugstore all-day wear lipstick, this goes on like a dream! It's not to thick, and not too thin. However, it can be a huuuuge hassle to take off if you do happen to make a mistake, so you definitely have to be careful when you apply it to the corners of your mouth and cupids bow!" Is it sticky on your lips? "Definitely feels a little sticky. When it dries down completely, it STILL feels sticky which is a huge bummer. Hopefully as it dries down, this will go away?"
campaign, cherie
Does it last through drinking/eating? "It did not go away. In fact, it was made worse by eating AND drinking, but it definitely lasted through lunch. I'm a chronic drink spiller, so I often drink out of tumblers with lids and straws. In this case, the Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick did not pass the vibe check. I had product covering my straw all day!" Is the color still vibrant? "Even though it's still sticky and all over my straw, the color is definitely hanging on to my lips. Still looking pink and plump!" Are you lips moisturized? "Again, not moisturized, but very sticky. Is sticky better than dry? I can't tell."

Does it look just as good? "Even though its a little patchy along the inside of my lips, this lipstick looks almost exactly like it did when I first applied it!" How long did the lipstick last? "From morning to night, this sticky lip lasted until I took it off in the evening." Would you recommend for all-day wear? "On good faith, I don't think I can recommend this lipstick for all-day wear. It's just too sticky and too much of a hassle to worry about, especially if you've got lots to do."Lipstick 4: IBY Beauty Feathermatte Liquid Lip in shade Nude

How does it go on? "Here's how the lipstick looks at 10AM. It goes on super smoothly and easily! Although it's a matte lipstick, it actually feels really creamy, lightweight and comfortable. The color is full and I only needed one swipe to achieve this color." Is it sticky on your lips? "To my surprise, it did feel a bit sticky when I put my lips together. However, it wasn't too much where it bothered me!"
campaign, cherie
Does it last through drinking/eating? "As you can see, the color started fading on my bottom lip through all the eating and drinking. This typically happens to me, so I guess I'm still searching for that lipstick that lasts through my constant eating and snacking throughout the day ;D" Is the color still vibrant? "I wouldn't say it stayed vibrant — it turned more into a light tint on my bottom lip and the color stayed almost the same on my top lip." Are you lips moisturized? "Throughout the day, my lips felt like it needed to be moisturized so I wouldn't recommend this as a nourishing lipstick. I did put a lip mask on before applying the lip because my lips have been particularly dry lately, but I felt like I should have exfoliated beforehand too."
campaign, cherie
Does it look just as good? "I really wish it did! I had high hopes when I applied it because the lipstick glided on so easily and it felt so comfortable. The lipstick color faded into a nice natural lip color but wasn't the same color as when I first applied it. It also started feeling dry towards the inside of my bottom lip, but again my lips have been very dry so I'm in need of a more moisturizing lip." How long did the lipstick last? "The lipstick began to fade after I started eating and drinking, so the full color only lasted a few hours. If I didn't eat, it definitely would have lasted a lot longer though." Would you recommend for all-day wear? "Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this lipstick for an all-day wear. The fact that it's a matte lipstick but still creamy and lightweight is the tradeoff for it not being an all-day wear lipstick."

Derm Tips for the Ordinary Peeling Solution
Derm Tips for the Ordinary Peeling Solution
The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution The Ordinary Peeling Solution is one of the best products you can buy for less than $10. When used correctly, there are so many benefits to this product! Here’s my review of the product with safety tips first. Safety Tips: -If you are new to skincare, this product is not for beginners. You want to have a consistent skin care routine for at least a month before adding this in -Patch test an area on your inner arm prior to applying this to the face. I’ve seen many people end up with chemical burns from this product -For first time use, use only for 5 minutes prior to washing off with water -Do not apply this on the same night as other strong actives (retinoids, other acids) -For darker skin types, glycolic acid in this product can lead to hyperpigmentation if used for too long. Do not use longer than 5 minutes if you are prone to hyperpigmentation Benefits: -Exfoliates the skin -Improves skin texture -Improves skin tone -Helps fight acne -Improves acne scars -Makes pores less obvious -Improves fine lines and wrinkles -Fades hyperpigmentation How to apply: 1. See safety tips above 2. Wash face with gentle cleanser 3. Apply to finger tips 4. Apply to dry skin in treatment areas 5. Leave on for 5-10 minutes 6. Wash off with water 7. Pat dry Conclusions: I absolutely love this product and I highly recommend it. However, I’ve seen people injure themselves badly from using this product incorrectly. Follow the safety tips above and you will see so many benefits to your skin. This is a product that I personally love & use in my routine!
5 REASONS WHY YOU NEED TOPCOAT
5 REASONS WHY YOU NEED TOPCOAT
A good top coat is more than just clear nail polish! Tell me this—do you find your manicure always chips faster than you want it to? (I know, this makes gel manicures really tempting, but hear me out). 1) It makes your manicure last longer Nail polish top coat adds a glossy seal over the polish you’ve just put on, ensuring it doesn’t chip away as easily. 2) It helps your nails dry faster I don’t even consider a top coat these days if quick dry isn’t mentioned anywhere on the label. To put it simply, quick dry top coats work by literally solidifying faster, making bumps and nicks harder to make in the nail polish itself. 3) It can make your manicure look like gel Top coats add a more glossy finish and high shine to perfect nails, giving them the illusion of a thicker layer of polish that looks like gel. 4) It smooths any over application mistakes If you accidentally nick or smudge your nails, here’s no reason to stress—your perfect nails aren’t ruined! This is where the top coat comes in. It’ll smooth over and fill any tiny little nicks and bumps just enough so that they’re not noticeable, saving you from doing over your nails. 5) It makes your at-home nail art look pro It adds that finishing touch and makes everything look 100% better. Which top coat is best? A lot of people think that their nail polish chips because they’re using a cheap brand. The thing is, it doesn’t matter what brand of nail polish you use—if you’re using a good quality top coat and base coat, you can make ANY nail polish last (and look good!) for perfect nails. Here are my favourite top coats! Seche Vite Top Coat Seche - Vite Dry Fast Clear Top Coat Seche Vite Dry Fast top coat is a classic. There’s a good reason it comes so highly recommended—I don’t think I’ve ever had my nails look so much like gel before. However, it thickens very quickly and requires the Seche Restore brand thinner to use it again due to Seche Vite’s unique formula. Essie Good to Go essie - Good to Go Top Coat It dries quickly and super shiny, but doesn’t make nails look as gel-like as other top coats. However, it’s one that I relied on for a long time and I would happily recommend it. Essie Gel Setter Reviewessie - Gel Setter Top Coat It’s definitely similar to Good to Go, but to me has a little more plumping and a gel-like finish for nails. Sally Hansen Big Shiny Top Coat Sally Hansen - Big Shiny Top Coat I really, really liked the Sally Hansen Big Shiny Top Coat. It was Big, Shiny, and quick-drying—and easy to get and cheap. What’s not to love? So, what's the fastest way to dry nails again? Answer: with a top coat—so skip all those Pinterest hacks about putting your hands in iced water. Apply thin coats of nail polish, let it dry a little in between, and seal everything off with a good top coat (and your nails will probably look better and last longer than gel, too!) Here's to good manis and pedis ahead!

Bronzer or blush? I want both!
Bronzer or blush? I want both!
In terms of bronzer and blush, they’re both makeup products used on cheeks. They can both add points to your makeup finish. However, their definite target and applying area are different.   At first, you should know differences and proper usage. I define their difference in three aspects. As to the applying area, blush is usually applied on your cheeks, bronzer is usually applied on your cheekbones and around the perimeter of your face, like your temples and forehead, basically the places where the sun typically hits. Secondly, as to the purpose. Blush brightens up your face and highlight your visage, while bronzer gives you the perfectly sun-kissed glow. If you love the tanning skin tone, maybe bronzer is your must-have cosmetics. Thirdly, about the color. Most blushes are pink, purple and red while bronzers are usually different types of brown. Compared with bronzer, blush is more wearable and universal. However, bronzer could give you a tanning look without the risk of sunburnt.   This is my fav bronzer and blush. You can see their obvious difference from the pics. Since my skin tone is light, I prefer slight red blush to add some fresh complexion. I will apply the blush on my cheeks and blend it around. I pick CLINIQUE’s fig pop as its color is very special and looks vivid. As to the bronzer, I love Benefit’s HOOLA, which is very famous and well-recommended by many Ins celebrities. HOOLA has a small brush in it, but I prefer to use my own bronzer brush. I usually apply it across my cheekbones, down the sides of nose, hairline and beneath the jawline, to give me an instant, natural-looking tan. Also, I use it as an everyday contour which could enhance my glow and define my features.   Do you prefer blush or bronzer? Or do you have wonderful blush or bronzer products to recommend?
