Maybe your skin concern or skincare pursuit just coincides with one of them below. Keep on reading and you shall benefit from these valuable sharings!Luminous Dewy Skin Mist
Dew or Don’t? Setting sprays and skin mists have become a popular product across all brands in the beauty industry. The formulas range from pure water to concoctions of dozens of elements. But what exactly do they do? Are they worth it? Let’s talk Tatcha. This Luminous Dewy Skin Mist is luxury brand and advertised to decrease fine lines , hydrate, and decrease skin dullness. When I use the product, I don’t notice it impact my skin integrity in any way. But I’m not totally tossing this product out yet. My first impressions: it smells heavenly, like all Tatcha products. The mist is expelled in a ultra fine way allowing for even coating across the face. And it has a refreshing feel. Other benefits: Tatcha’s products are registered on Sephora’s Clean beauty list meaning they are formulated without over 50 ingredients, including sulfates (SLS and SLES), parabens, phthalates, and more. I always opt for Clean products to benefit myself and the planet. Lastly, the price. For 1.35 oz of product, you’ll be paying $48.00. Tatcha is a luxury brand and charges luxury brand prices. I own almost all of their products but they work wonderfully and I stand behind their brand HOWEVER for this one, I believe a little purified water and rose hops in a spray bottle will do you just as good and keep your wallet happy. What are your thoughts on facial mists? Worth the splurge or better spend on other products??? Retails for $48.00Violet-C Brightening Serum 20% Vitamin C + 10% AHA
I really wanted to love this The Violet-C serum from Tatcha claims to help birghten skin and improve skin discoloration with its combination of 20% vitamin C and 10% AHA. It is a very watery serum so be careful pumping it out. I like that one pump is enough for my face and neck area. It feels nice on even if it’s a tad sticky when it dries but I mainly use it at brightening and layer with a moisturizer or sleeping mask. I think it helps keep my skin hydrated but I haven’t seen any improvement with my skin discoloration or any ening of my skin tone. I also noticed a few tiny pimples but I can’t say they are from tatcha as I’m using a few other skincare products. Either way its a really expensive serum at $88 and I wanted to love it since I got it from Cherie as a gift; but it’s just ok for me and that doesn’t cut it for the price point. May just not be made for my skin type but I’ve had better luck with other products at both the same and lower prices. The Dewy Skin Cream
Dewy Skin Cream ❌ Overhyped I think Tatcha is a really luxurious brand but they are also really hyped up because of packaging and the community. I am not a fan of this dewy skin cream. The texture of the product in the photo I posted is misleading because the product actually dried up from lack of use. It was normally a creamy texture with a beautiful purple color. So slightly ignore the texture photo! I did not like this product because of the dimethicone finish, that is a personal preference. Otherwise I think it was a decent moisturizer but certainly not worth the price point. 1.7oz for $68. You’d be better off getting a nice serum with good actives instead of wasting your money on a average moisturizer with pretty packaging and a pretty color. Overhyped for what it is. Would not recommend. Quoted via the sephora site: “What it is: A rich cream that feeds skin with plumping hydration and antioxidant-packed Japanese purple rice for a dewy, healthy glow. Skin Type: Normal and Dry Skincare Concerns: Dryness, Dullness and Uneven Texture, and Loss of Firmness and Elasticity Formulation: Rich Cream Highlighted Ingredients: - Japanese Purple Rice: Packed with nutrients and known for its ability to survive any harsh environment, it has long been used to celebrate longevity and vitality; rich in anthocyanin, a strong antioxidant, it helps skin recover from and protect against stress, pollution, and UV damage for healthier-looking skin. - Okinawa Algae Blend and Hyaluronic Acid: Captures water to help replenish skin’s natural moisture reservoir, immediately leaving skin soft, comforted, and deeply nourished; helps to replenish ceramides to ensure optimum skin barrier function, aiding in the reduction of future moisture loss, for skin that is visibly smooth and plump with hydration. - Botanical Extracts: From ginseng, wild thyme, and sweet marjoram; nourishes skin, enhancing its natural ability to retain and release moisture as needed, and imparts a dewy glow.”The Silk Canvas Protective Primer
Worth the hype? I got this silk primer in a set, so its a small travel size version that I thought id give a try before purchasing the full size, and I’m glad I didnt. This primer is nice, its feels nice to the touch and does give a flawless canvas before applying makeup, but it took me a while to figure out the best way to use it- it pilled ALOT. No matter what skincare cream I used before it, it would pill anyways. I realized I had to use sunscreen before using it and I wouldnt get any pilling. I mean thats great incentive to wear sunscreen daily, but I dont always wear my makeup to go out during the day, so doing my makeup in the evening, I dont really use this because it just pills so much that I feel it just all comes off. For the price of this full size you would hope you don’t experience problems like this. I know they came out with a silk canvas liquid, so I wonder how that comparesLuminous Deep Hydration Firming Serum
A very expensive eye serum The hype about Tatcha products is something I have yet to understand. This eye serum was no different. This is a very small tube of serum that claims to instantly bring radiance and youth to the eye area. It has caffeine and a proprietary anti-aging blend. The texture is light and fluid. The product’s applicator is cooling and gentle under the eye. It kind of acts as a jade roller might and allows you to apply product directly onto the skin. The serum does absorb quickly, but it doesn’t absorb well. I was left with what felt like a film under my eye. I didn’t see any of the results listed in the claims of the product. It also contains mica, which is not only unsustainably harvested by children but lends a drugstore vibe to the product. I don’t need the skin under my eyes to sparkle. Finally, this tiny, tiny tube costs $85. I would definitely not recommend it as it’s not at all worth the price. No adverse affects, but certainly not something I’ll be keeping in my collection. #TATCHA - Luminous Deep Hydration Firming Eye Serum[goods]#[ThreeStars]Violet-C Radiance Mask
Does this mask work? 📌EMPTY 📌My skin type: Dry/ Combination 📌Product information: Tatcha Violet C Brightening Mask ($68 for 1.7oz). A mask containing 2 types of vitamin C, AHAs from seven fruits which also provide anti-aging benefits. Product texture: Like a light weight moisturizer 📌My Experience: I finished this entire travel size in 3 uses and it did not improve my skin. So, to give it a full chance I purchased the full size. I have been using it ever since but I unfortunately do not see any visible effects on my skin. I was literally sad about it coz I love the brand so much and love so many of their products. I tried to love this mask hard but I think this mask and me were just not meant to be. 📌Like/ Dislike: Dislike 📌Would I recommend it? Depends 📌Rating of the product: 2/5What are the final conclusions? Skincare experience of one individual could never be a cure all and these are just for your references. Getting a sample and trying it out before you really splurge on these pricey products would be a wise choice. Curology vs The Ordinary! Which is better?!
Curology - Curology formula This is the first photo! Did wonders for my skin it was the best it had ever been since I started getting acne in middle school. Curology literally saved my skin, it was clear and great! (Over a year later) The second photo:/ I decided to stop using curology around 2 months ago and start using ordinary products. I decided to do this because I wanted to see if the ordinary could do the same thing as curology and maybe make my skin even better. This wasn’t because curology was bad or anything It was just something I wanted to test. I was pretty confident in my skin so I didn’t think it would be bad. I saw on social media how great it was so I figured why not? ... After slowly introducing ordinary products into my skincare routine to ( i used both ordinary and curology products together) I could see that my skin was breaking out more when I introduced the ordinary products. I didn’t think much of it cause I knew that my skin was just purging from the new products. After about 2 months of using both curology and ordinary products I decided to just try ordinary products because my skin was breaking out a lot and I felt that the ordinary would help it. (I think should’ve stuck with curology but this was just my curiosity about the product). ... (Now) I am on week 6 of using all ordinary products and this is what my skin looks like (photo 2) and I’m not happy with the results:/The first couple weeks I knew I would be purging, my skin was at its worst a couple weeks ago (week 3). But I figured that by now or next week my skin would be clear( the only reason I felt that my skin would be pretty much clear by now or next week was because while using curology all my acne was gonna by week 7). So I’m still trying to figure out if I wanna continue to use the ordinary products for a couple more weeks before I give up because it’s not giving me the results I want. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% I don’t really know how to rate this because obviously it hasn’t worked for my skin very well but I’m not sure if it’s because my skin needs more time to adjust (it has been 6 weeks so...). I think that this product works great for some people but for me definitely not. Right from the start of using it, it broke me out and then once I only used this line of products it made my skin terrible. I also used The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution Which didn’t do much in the 6weeks I used it. I did feel like it helped my acne a little. Overall I really did wish this line of products would help my acne and make my skin clear like curology but that wasn’t the case. This product line is definitely not for my skin. I’ll write out my skin care routine comparisons in my next post!

✨Cute Bun Hairstyle✨
Hi Guys!!! I recently saw this scrolling on Pinterest and I wanted to recreate it! It’s SO easy and took about 5 minutes total!! It looks so fancy yet it’s so simple! I have medium to thin hair but this can work on pretty much all hair types! (: (tip: spray texture spray beforehand) this helps it stay in better!)☺️ HOW TO: -I like to pull my bangs out first (: - you’re going to section it as if you’re doing a half up half down hairstyle -then you’re going to start twisting that part of your hair -I twist it around like I’m doing a ballerina bun😅 -then I secure it with a hair tie ❤️ -you can leave like that! Or I like to pull it out a little so it’s more loose!✨😊

The mist is super fine which makes it perfect for spraying on large or small spots, and pressing into the skin similar to how you apply a toner. Would I recommend to a friend? I would absolutely recommend this product to a friend or family or even someone looking to help soothe their skin but who doesn’t want to break the bank!! My overall rating? 5/5 Would I repurchase? I have and will continue to repurchase this product until I find something that exceeds how amazing this is! #CheriePartner
