Formulated by an A-list dermatologist with over 25 years of experience in the field, the brand is designed to bridge the gap between clinical-grade skincare and everyday products and bring a little dermatological expertise to the everyday routine.
Having treated thousands of patients, Dr Dennis Gross offers products designed to target the most common skin issues seen in clinics, using ingredients in strengths as powerful as they can be, at the highest grade available, while staying within the limits that permit them to be sold direct to consumers. Brand story
The brains behind the brand is Dr Dennis Gross himself, a board-certified dermatologist from New York. The brand was unofficially born in 2002 when he created an early version of one of its bestselling products (the Alpha-Beta Peel) for his wife, Carrie, who was concerned about premature aging. At the time it was a doctor-only procedure available exclusively at Dr Gross’ Manhattan office, and it was Carrie who suggested making an at-home version of the peel. This ultimately led to the official birth of the brand, back in 2002. The Alpha-Beta Peel was an instant hit and established the brand as a reliable, research-backed go-to for skincare savvy shoppers. Eighteen years later, the brand is retailed across the world and is a familiar name in the beauty community, beloved by influencers and beauty editors alike. But even now, every product is still created from scratch by Dr Gross, who enjoys self-experimenting with formulas in the early stages of formulation.

The brand’s products are split into six categories. The most popular is Alpha Beta (a selection of at-home peel products), but there’s also Alpha Beta Glow (at-home exfoliating and smoothing products which incorporate elements of self-tan to give skin a sunless glow), Ferulic + Retinol (an anti-aging range starring retinol and antioxidants), C + Collagen (a popular vitamin C line), Hyaluronic Marine (hydration boosting products for dry and dehydrated skin) and Dr Dennis Gross Rx (a high-tech line which includes at-home LED light masks and a facial steamer).
The original Alpha-Beta Peel is still one of the bestsellers and was one of the first products to introduce daily chemical exfoliation into the mainstream. Let’s learn a no heat style! Start by gathering your hair to one side Begin a rope braid in the front by twisting two pieces. Add hair to each section and twist again. Continue this pattern until you reach your ear. Split the remaining hair into two. While holding the section pop index finger and thumb through. Grab through the other section and repeat! This mist is so fun to use. You can use it with makeup or on its own! I tend to use it on bare skin for a natural glowing look. It is a fine mist that moisturizes, nourishes and helps fight damage. It also helps fight irritation and calm the skin. I will be posting a video a little later of me using this before makeup application! Makeup glides on after using this to prep the skin. What’s in it: peach extract Hyaluronic acid Reishi mushroom lotus extract cica ceramides much more! This product has so many awesome ingredients, it’s hard not to love! PEACH & LILY - Glass Skin Veil Mist I will give this a 5/5! Pros: can be used to refresh makeup can be used on bare skin hydrating calming gives a wonderful dewy glow smells nice Cons: $30 for a mist is a bit pricey but this mist does so much in return 💞 let me know a mist you love!
