Wrinkles, which are a result of aging skin and volume loss, are completely natural. Still, it’s normal to feel self-conscious about them. Many people go to great lengths to prevent or treat wrinkles, including intricate skincare routines, injections, or surgeries.  With all the information out there, it can be difficult to know what’s true and what’s just a ploy to get you to spend more money on skin products and services. The article aims to tell you exactly what you need to know: to tell you the truth which may not be what you expect.
Myth 1. All Skincare is Useless When it Comes to Wrinkles 
Cosmetic companies will try to sell you a new cream by telling you it’s going to instantly take you back to your 20’s. Sorry, but this isn’t going to happen with any skincare treatment or miracle cream.  What will happen, with the right skincare routine, is you will be able to prevent and improve a skin issue. 
To keep wrinkles at bay. It’s important to have the right skincare routine to keep your skin healthy. A basic routine should consist of cleansing, moisturizing, and sunscreen.
Cleansing will not only remove dirt, pollution, and micro-organisms i.e. bacteria, viruses, or fungus. It also regulates your natural skin’s emulsion and PH. Moisturizing after will keep your skin hydrated, flexible, and healthy.  The use of sunscreen will protect you from solar radiation, such as UVA and UVB light.
From there, depending on your own needs, you can add products into your routine; such as toners, essences, serums, eye-cream, exfoliators, and masks. All these products need to suit your skin and be specialized in the area you wish to improve. Trust me. You will see an improvement in the tone of your skin and propensity to wrinkle. 
Myth 2. The More Expensive the Product, the Better for your Wrinkles
The quality of an expensive or luxury wrinkle product doesn’t necessarily mean it’s going to be better than a low-cost product. Luxury products offer an all-round experience; there is more going into these products than just ingredients. Consider how the cost is made up; marketing, packaging, fragrance, and exclusivity.
If what you are looking for a product will work for your skin, pay attention to the ingredient list. It’s a fact that some less expensive products are created by luxury brands; you just need to know where to look. Don’t get me wrong, I’m willing to spend money on skincare but only if the ingredients list is reflected in the purchase cost.
Myth 3. You Only Need Sunscreen When it’s Sunny
Why aren’t you taking sun damage seriously? You can forget all the creams and serums because nothing can repair really sun-damaged skin! Prevention is the best beauty product there is! Here are some facts that might just convince you. 
80 to 90% of aging, such as wrinkles, pigmentation, sunspots, loss of elasticity, and collagen is due to Ultraviolet (UV) put out by the sun on a daily basis. 50% of UV damage is caused by free radical production as a result of sun damage, and 50% of UV damage creates direct cell trauma and DNA damage. That’s a fact you can’t ignore.
Buy a good sunscreen and make sure you’re covered for both UVA and UVB rays for these reasons; UVA = A for aging. This type of light is all-year-round and will penetrate clouds and glass and can reflect off surfaces such as sidewalks. UVB= B for burning; these rays are at their peak in the summer.
Take my advice on sunscreen, folks, and your face will thank you by not having any wrinkles.
Myth 4. Exercise will Give You Wrinkles
This is a tricky one: no way do I want you to stop exercising. Exercising is great for our overall health and is good for your skin because it improves blood circulation. Blood will carry oxygen and nutrients all over your body, including the skin on your face and neck.
Having said that, there are a few things to keep in mind if you’re working out regularly. Running is not good for wrinkles; the force of gravity and the effect of pounding the pavement will give you wrinkles. Stick to pilates, yoga, or Thai Chi. If you need to raise your heart rate go for a fast walk. 
If you are doing outside activity make sure you use the right sunscreen and reapply the sunscreen at least every 2 hours, waterproof is a good idea if you swim regularly and if you can, wear a hat. Never wear makeup during a workout. It will clog your pores leading to blemishes, which in turn leads to stressed skin, in the end stressing your skin will lead to wrinkles.
Myth 5. My parents both have wrinkles so I will get them too
Not necessarily. If your parents have aged well, then you are likely to age well too. But the thing is, genes can only take you so far. Here comes the science - good genes are going to influence the quality of your DNA, mitochondria (cell’s power-points), and hormones. These 3 elements are going to determine your overall health and skin health, and how it reacts to aging and wrinkles. 
Lifestyle choices are a significant contributing factor. Think of a child that has been born with ideal health: if they were to grow up with a destructive lifestyle with even the best genes in the world, that sort of lifestyle choice has made good genes irrelevant. 
While it doesn’t sound like it right now, good genes or not, if you want your skin to be at its best, think sunscreen, skincare routine, nutrition, sleep, stress management, and some form of movement that you enjoy. But, most of all, remember those lines represent all the years you’ve lived and the experiences you’ve had. While you should be sure to take care of your skin, try to embrace the way your skin changes as you grow older.
There are methods to prevent and treat your wrinkles, but it’s also important to remain realistic. Wrinkles may not completely disappear, but there are ways to smooth them, boost your confidence, and improve how you feel about your skin.

Ever since I’ve added these two new products, I’ve noticed a couple new breakouts in places i’ve never experienced!!! They are red painful pimples too. Two on my forehead (I never get them there) , one on the outside of my nostril (i never get them there either), and the weirdest singular pimple on my NECK! Both of these products I have used on my face and neck, however, I’m not sure what product or ingredient is causing the sudden breakout!! Or is it just purging??? Help!!!!!!
