Searching for a way to help ease her father's pain, Gonzalez found the idea of infusing harvested raw honey with CBD since the raw plant was too hard for her father to ingest. Thus, Happy Organics was born. The company now offers a variety of honey and hemp-derived products that are sweet, sustainable, and crafted in the Central Valley

When she was formulating Rizos Curls, she wanted to create a product made with quality and natural ingredients that could celebrate all curl types, from tight coils to loose waves. Rizos Curls turned her dream into a reality. Now, Prado's company boasts every kind of hair product from shampoos and conditioners to styling creams and hair pins.
Rizos CurlsRizos Curls The TrioLeah Guerrero — Brujita SkincareWhile Leah Guerrero herself is of Ecuadorian decent, this lady-boss and creator of Brujita Skincare was inspired by the mercados of Mexico City where she sourced ingredients for her holistic line. Guerrero believes in good-for-you skincare at an affordable price. As a licensed esthetician, Guerrero’s interest in organic skincare manifested when she realized that the products she was recommending to clients often did more harm than good. Guerrero created Brujita Skincare in 2017 and since then, Brujita Skincare has been on the up and up and a staple in the organic skincare world.
BRUJITASea Algae CleanserNavil Rico — Atomic MakeupInspired by a variety of influences including rock 'n' roll culture, first-generation Mexican woman Navil Rico created Atomic Makeup NYC in 2015 with the goal to give makeup lovers the freedom to express their artistic selves by creating makeup that matches every skin tone and personality. Including a new line of CBD-infused liquid lipsticks and lip glosses, Rico's brand is affordable, cruelty free, and made in its home base of New York City.
atomic MAKEUPNectar CBD LipglossRea Ann Silva — BeautyblenderThere's no denying that the invention of the Beautyblender changed the makeup world forever, and that's all thanks to Mexican-Portuguese beauty pioneer Rea Ann Silva. When high definition television emerged in 2002, it began to change the way makeup artists applied makeup. Thus, Silva conceptualized the pink, teardrop-shaped sponge we now know and love. Little did she know she was sitting on an idea that would soon change the face of beauty. Silva launched the famous makeup sponge in 2003, and from there it pretty much revolutionized the way everyone from professional MUAs to women at home applied makeup.

Drunk Elephant- The Littles 🐘
I won this cute little kit in a raffle & I couldn’t be more thankful! I have always wanted to try these products but never wanted to spend the money on all of them incase I didn’t like them! Inside this kit are the following products: DRUNK ELEPHANT - Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser Deluxe Sample DRUNK ELEPHANT - B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Cream DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Resurfacing Night Serum DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serum DRUNK ELEPHANT - Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil DRUNK ELEPHANT - Umbra Tinte Physical Daily Defense Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 30 That’s literally a whole skincare routine! So far I started out my day with one of Drunk Elephants infamous “Face Smoothies” I washed my face with Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser & then combined C-Firma Day Serum, Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil, & Protini Polypeptide Cream together on my mixing trey with a disposable skincare spatula! I applied it all over my face & neck. Once that absorbed, I applied Umbra Tinte Daily Defense SPF 30 over my face & neck & was done! I love how the kit comes with steps to walk you through different routines you can use in the morning or at night! I will do a follow up review after I have used all the products for a few weeks! But so far, my skin feels & looks great! I have been breaking out lately & haven’t felt the best about my skin so I really needed this pick me up!! Thank you for reading! You guys are the best!! ❤️ @cherie@Cheriebeauty@CheriePick
Do It All Toner 🍃🍃
I have been loving the brand Truly lately ✨ I recently purchased this: 🍃TRULY - CBD Jelly Toning Solution 🍃 And it’s by far one of my favorite toners. Ingredients: 💚100MG CBD 💚Glycolic Acid 💚Tea Tree Oil 💚Organic Aloe 💚Rose Petal Extract This brand is also: 💚Vegan 💚Cruelty Free 💚Clean I use this every other night and it as tremendously helped my skin barrier and acne. I was really concerned about the glycolic acid irritating or drying my skin but it didn’t at all 🤩 I highly recommend this to combo and oily , acne prone skin. This will be a toner I keep in my night routine. I got it from Ulta (of course) for $24 (I paid $15 after coupons) Do you use CBD products? 🍃
Just added to skincare routine
I usually use some of the the tatcha dewy skin collection skincare, I just added this to the routine. Literally tatcha is the only thing that keeps my skin care at this moment. The dewy collection is great for dry skin but it is a bit pricey. The $12 face mask thoooo be hitting. Anybody else use this brand or want to use it?
Black Owned Makeup Look
So I decided to use the products I pictured in my first photo (minus my highlight shade and lipstick) I used the #Ace Beaute - Nostalgia Palette[products]#[FiveStars] for my entire eye look. I definitely enjoyed these products. My only advice is to shake the UOMA BEAUTY - Say What?! Foundation before use (because it can come out watery) but the coverage is absolutely flawless. I was shocked with the consistency the coverage I got. What’s your favorite black owned brands? (I do not own right to the song)
Double Your Lash Length With Sky High Mascara!
I bought this mascara after seeing a post about it on Facebook. I love trying out new mascaras but rarely do I find one that I will use regularly like my beloved tarte - Maneater Mascara However this stuff is good. MAYBELLINE - Lash Sensational Sky High Waterproof Mascara It gave my lashes so much volume & length they literally doubled in size! My lashes are already pretty long to begin with but this made them look amazing. The photo is after applying only one coat so I can only imagine how good they will look after two or three coats! It also didn’t clump up my lashes at all. I applied it really quickly & lazily too because I was in a rush to get ready & I was still amazed! I honestly think this is going to be my new daily mascara. It is waterproof but not the annoying kind that leaves your eyes completely black when you go to take it off. It came off really easily with my POND'S - Facial Moisturizers Dry Skin Cream which is what I’ve always used to remove my eye makeup, since I was a kid! @cherie@Cheriebeauty@CheriePick

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.2 DAYS AGO
