A mere two months ago, none of us would’ve thought twice about waltzing into an Ulta, Sephora, Blue Mercury, or any other beauty boutique for that matter. Now though, the world is looking vastly different for obvious reasons — the COVID-19 crisis — and no one is sure when it’ll feel safe to step foot in our favorite beauty stores again. Depressing facts aside, there *is* a bright side: Many brands are still delivering straight to your door, as well as offering free shipping as an incentive to shop online and to help their customers during these financially trying times. You have e-commerce giants like Nordstrom and Blue Mercury, as well as smaller beauty businesses such as Peace Out Skincare and Amika, all cutting off shipping costs for the time being due to the pandemic.
Without further ado, find a breakdown of some of the best beauty brands still doing home delivery right now — as well as providing free shipping on all orders.
  • Nordstrom: Never thought of Norstrom as a beauty destination? Well think again, folks, because the retail powerhouse offers an extensive range of best-selling brands — from Bobbi Brown, Charlotte Tilbury, and Dyson, to Dior, La Mer, and Estee Lauder. Score free shipping on all orders, regardless of how much you spend, and if you don’t like something, no worries: They’re offering flexible returns for no extra charge, too. Oh yeah, and they also happen to be having a huge 40% off sale right now, so don’t sleep on that, beauty lovers.
  • Blue Mercury: Our friends at Blue Mercury are not only offering free shipping, but they’re taking it one step further and including three free samples with all orders. Pretty sweet, no? Shop from big-name brands like SkinCeuticals, Nars, Oribe, Jo Malone, and myriad more. They even sell scents for the home, too, so consider picking up a candle to cozy up your crib while you’re at it.
  • MAC Cosmetics: In addition to its new digital virtual try-on feature, the folks at MAC are offering free shipping on all orders — that, and they’ve extended their return policy an extra 30 days until stores reopen. Score all your staple favorites, or treat yourself to something new like the Fix+ Magic Radiance Mist, which nourishes skin with hyaluronic acid and vitamin C, and leaves behind the most gorgeous glow whether you wear it alone or with makeup.
  • Amika: The fan-favorite hair-care brand is really coming through right now. Other than free shipping, they’re also including free samples with every order, and they’re offering 40% off select hair products and tools while supplies last. Might we suggest the Triple Rx Mask? After all, it couldn’t be a better time to give your hair some T.L.C.
  • Kiehl’s: The beloved independent skin-care brand is offering free shipping on all purchases right now — along with a free jade roller and two deluxe-sized samples of your choice with the code REVIVE. Not sure what to pick up? Their best-selling Ultimate Strength Hand Salve is a must-have, as is the Creme de Corps Body Cream.
  • Blume: For anyone unfamiliar, skin-slash-self-care brand Blume makes one of the best natural deodorants on the market — and right now, you can buy it and more with free shipping within the U.S. We’re also huge fans of their Organic Tampons, as well as their Meltdown Acne Oil, both of which are made without any harmful ingredients.
  • Peace Out Skincare: If you’ve yet to try any of this K-beauty brand’s skin-care patches, now is the time as there’s free shipping on all orders — no minimum needed. We’re especially partial to their Acne Dots, which dramatically bring down blemishes overnight, along with the Dark Spot Microneedling Patches that work wonders on stubborn acne scars and hyperpigmentation.
  • Grande Cosmetics: Use this extra time at home to nourish your brows and lashes with Grande Cosmetics’ growth-stimulating serums. The brand is offering free shipping, in addition to 15% off your order — plus, 15% of all proceeds will go directly to Feeding America. (All the more reason to shop to your heart’s content right now.)
  • Urban Decay: The UD team is currently having a 20% off sitewide sale (use code SPRINGFLING20 to save big) and free shipping on all orders. There’s more: If you spend $50, they’ll throw a deluxe-sized sample of their new All Nighter Face Primer in there for fun, too. We’d also highly recommend trying the Brow Beater, which just launched and is already a best-seller.
  • Drunk Elephant: Clean beauty brand Drunk Elephant is offering free ground shipping on all orders, which if you ask us, is a perfect excuse to try some of their newly launched products, like the T.L.C. Happi Scalp Scrub, the Sili Body Lotion, or the Kamili Cream Body Cleanser. You also can’t go wrong with their award-winning Sakari Babyfacial, which smooths, softens, and brightens skin simultaneously with just one use.
  • The Body Shop: Spoil yourself or a loved one right now to a beautiful body butter, hand cream, or any of The Body Shop’s amazing bath and body products. We’re megafans of their orange-scented Satsuma Body Butter, the Hemp Hand Protector, which works wonders on dry skin, and the Strawberry Bath Bomb that smells just as incredible as it sounds.

These pressed pigments are a bold addition to any look, and they are buildable. You can do as soft or as bold as you like. They also blend well even with shadows of other palettes. When shampooing hair, the alkaline ingredients in the shampoo will swell the hair, expand the hair scales, and produce rich foam to break down the dirt attached to the hair crevices. After shampooing, the hair will become rough and stiff. The acidic components in the conditioner can neutralize the remaining alkaline components, balance the HP value, and the hair will become soft. But I have been thinking about a question, shampoo and conditioner must be used in a pair? I mean, must it be the same series of the same brand? I recently bought a new set of Bamford products. This is my first time using this brand of hair care products. This brand was born in the UK, and the whole series are made of organic ingredients. The Geranium series I bought also include body oil, hand cream, sleep spray and so on. The smell is a touch of woody fragrance, which I like. Whether it is shampoo or conditioner, it will not feel strange slippery when applied to the hair. Overall, the experience is pretty good. But I decided to separate the same brand’s shampoo and conditioner. I tried BAMFORD's shampoo and KERASTASE repair conditioner. Let me talk about the performance of this mix. 1. Because my scalp is prone to oi, so I care most about is oil control performance. The effect of using the original suit is the same as using the mix product, and the hair starts to have oil after two days. 2. The biggest drawback is that the scent of shampoo and conditioner are inconsistent, causing the hair to product a mixed smell. It's not very comfortable actually. In summary, the main ingredients of the conditioner are the same, and the effects are basically the same. The difference between the non-matching conditioner and the matching conditioner is basically the difference in taste, and will not affect the effect of the product. Therefore, different brands of shampoo and conditioner can also be used, but the matching products will have a better experience in use. bamford - bamford Botanic Shampoo bamford - bamford Botanic Conditioner
Anti-pollution skincare & why you need it!
Anti-pollution skincare & why you need it!
Did you know pollution can be silently and progressively deteriorating your complexion? Exposure to environmental stressors such as free radicals, UV/UVB exposure, different fumes and emissions could be wrecking your skin. Heck, even emissions from paint and carpeting inside your own home are potentially damaging your skin, causing inflammation, fine lines, dull skin and premature aging. More and more research shows that environmental factors could be stronger determinants of our overall health than our very own genes. And unless you’re moving to a secluded forest with cleaner air, maybe you should start considering anti-pollution skincare! Dr. Loretta took all these factors into account when creating her own line of skincare, so all of her products claim to protect skin from oxygen AND nitrogen free radical damage. Dullness and dehydration are possibly my major skin concerns, I’ve struggled with dehydrated skin for years, and if I’m not diligent with my skincare I know for sure my skin will be looking dull and crusty in just a few hours. 🧴 Dr Loretta - Intense Replenishing Serum Living in a super dry city I need to have a serum to keep me hydrated, but isn’t too heavy that will make my combo skin feel oily or break me out. This serum has a very interesting consistency, it’s light but feels like a serum/oil hybrid. Besides from protecting skin against free radicals it’s also made with vitamin F to maintain a healthy skin barrier and prevent water loss. 🧴 Dr. Loretta - Tightening Eye Gel I have a hard time finding eye cream that works well for me, most eye creams I’ve tried gave me milia which is so annoying. Having an eye gel has been amazing for me, being a gel I know for sure it won’t give me milia but I’m still treating my under eyes. I haven’t been using that long to speak on long-term effects but I’m liking it so far. It works great to depuff! At $60 for 20 ml it’s a pricey one, but you really only need like half a pump and that’s enough for both eyes. 🧴 Dr. Loretta - Urban Antioxidant Sunscreen SPF 40 This is such a nice SPF in my opinion. Not only does it offer UVA/UVB protection, it also protects against HEV light emitted from the sun and electronic devices and of course, pollution. It has a slight peachy tint so it looks good on its own, and gives off a nice satin finish, not too dewy or too matte. One thing I have to note on this product is I have to take a few extra minutes for application, it’s best to pat it in rather than aggressively rubbing it on, which I wouldn’t recommend either way 😜 normally I wouldn’t bother but I love how it looks on me, and it was $50 so I will make it work lol Have you tried any anti-pollution formulas? Would you give these a try? ☺️ #CheriePartner
☀️Sience says Tinted Sunscreens do it best☀️
☀️Sience says Tinted Sunscreens do it best☀️
Hello beautiful skin + beauty lovers 😊 I love spfs because they are so important to the health of our skin and our whole body☀️ I was excited to try the FIRST AID BEAUTY - Weightless Liquid Mineral SPF 30 because it’s a tinted sunscreen. Regular sunscreen blocks UV rays so that’s still awesome, But visible light is not blocked in this capacity. Visible light has been proven to cause damage to skin just like UV rays. non-tinted sunscreens are formulated to be invisible on skin, and therefore cannot block visible light. Tinted sunscreens are awesome because the added color base in the product is beneficial to blocking visible light because the color remains on your skin, creating yet another layer of protection between your beautiful skin and the sun. Here’s how it works, according to Neera Nathan MD and Dieter Manstein MD for Harvard Publising, “Tinted sunscreens combine broad-spectrum mineral UV filters, like zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, with added pigments — pigmentary titanium dioxides and iron oxides — that create the visible, skin-tone color that can reflect away visible light. The colored base of tinted sunscreens is created by mixing different amounts of black, red, and yellow iron oxides with pigmentary titanium dioxide, resulting in a tinted sunscreen that can be matched to any skin tone.” Boom! That’s how it’s done. Who wouldn’t want that extra protection without white cast?! How does FIRST AID BEAUTY - Weightless Liquid Mineral SPF 30 perform? The only issue I have with this is when rubbing it in, it feels grainy and gritty like sand or something. It disappears once all the way rubbed in, but it kind of weirded me out 😛 I was reading a bunch of reviews and some people claimed to feel this as well. I think mine might have been old or something. It is not bothersome enough for me to not want to try it again. I will still use & probably repurchase this. The finish on this product is amazing. I really like it for my combination skin. Once soaked into the skin, this sunscreen became invisible and left a soft sheen/dewiness on my pale skin. It made my skin really soft, too. I would also like to point out there for me the sunscreen didn’t really do much in terms of blurring imperfections on my face. I honestly couldn’t really tell that I had anything on after it was all the way rubbed in, except for a light glow it gave my skin. So if you’re looking for a tinted sunscreen with more coverage I would probably recommend looking at a different product. I also like the ingredients in this, squalane being one of the first few ingredients, working to moisturize and nourish my skin. Do you guys like tinted sunscreen? What kinds do you wear?
Hair Growth Remedies You Need To Know
Hair Growth Remedies You Need To Know
We all crave long luscious locks, right? I know I do. Unfortunately, I wasn’t blessed with Rapunzel-like hair. Hair growth depends on several factors, including diet, environment, and genetic history. However, some remedies can help keep strands healthy, ultimately allowing them to grow long and strong.   I’m sharing my favorite hair growth hacks that I swear by.   About My Hair: I personally have very dry, long, curly hair. I tend to get a lot of breakage because of heat styling and occasional chemical treatments (highlights). My biggest hair concern is keeping my hair and scalp healthy.   My Go-To Hair Growth Products:   Biotin: I take 1 biotin pill every day. While this may not be suitable for all (always ask your doctor first), I did get an OK from my doctor to take them. I do think they really make a difference. I’ve tried a bunch of biotin brands before, and these seem to work best for my hair. Plus, they're pretty inexpensive. You get a 3-month supply for under $20. These are made with coconut oil as well, which helps keep hair hydrated.   Briogeo - Scalp Revival Stimulating Therapy Massager Scalp Massager: Healthy hair starts at the scalp! Once I learned that I’ve never looked back. I use my scalp massager by Briogeo around 2-4 times per week to give my scalp some much-needed love! Massaging the scalp helps improve blood and circulation. When you have increased blood flow, the hair follicles are getting more nutrition. This specific massager from Briogeo was just under $20. Every time I use this, my hair and head feel incredible after.   Hair Growth Tips: #1. Don’t use too much heat. Take it from me. I have scorched my hair so many times. #2. Eat a lot of protein. #3. Don’t over brush wet hair. I only use a wide-tooth comb on my hair when it’s wet.
