What Are The Most Talked About Lip Products This Season?Find the most trendy lip products on Cherie
We LOVE hearing what Cherie users have to say, the Lip Talk on Cherie was so fun to read through! So fun, in fact, that we decided to put together a list of our favorites.

This product changed the way I look at lip balm forever. I have a bunch of lip balms I really love but this was a game changer. My only guess is the added addition of hyaluronic acid. This stuff keeps my lips soft for hours , if my lips are extra dry I’ll do a lip scrub first and then put this on.
What’s lip talk without MILANI in it? OMG I can’t tell you how much I love these satin matte lippies 😍🤤 I own a few shades but their black lipstick in LEATHER is my absolute go-to. Black lipstick is my favorite and I’m very picky on what type I us since I where it for long periods of the day. This formula is fantastic 🤩 drys super quick and doesn’t transfer!! Which is really important for me in a black lipstick. They don’t crack and crumble plus they feel silky and very comfortable. They also have a flat doe foot applicator that spreads quick and even with no need to double dip for more product. If you are on the market for matte lipsticks in general these MILANI matte satin lipsticks are perfect for the perfect pout 💋
The Laneige lip sleeping masks are my absolute favourite way to keep my lips soft, smooth and hydrated! I have gone through so many of these - they are my go-to for day and night - I don’t just use these when I’m sleeping, I like using them during the day as well for a nice glossy pout. I love that it doubles up as a nice glossy look for day as well while still working on keeping my lips ultra hydrated, smooth and shiny! To get my collection of backups, I bought a couple Laneige sets from Sephora that were a really incredible deal - they had a full sized mask in the classic berry flavour and for only a couple extra dollars the set came with 3 additional mini sized ones in different flavours to try out! I also love the little wand that comes with it - it makes it so quick and easy to swipe up some product and apply it in a clean and sanitary way without having to stick your fingers in the jar 🙌🏻All the flavours are really great and they come in: Vanilla, Berry, Grapefruit and Apple Lime! I love them all and I keep changing my mind as to which one is my favourite 🙈 but as of right now, I think grapefruit and vanilla are my favourites! 🥰
This is the lip product that’s always in my purse. It is a super hydrating lip balm with solid jelly texture. I have chapped lips 24/7 no matter what and this helps a lot! Cherry flavor is one of my favorite too🍒💕 It smells really yummy! It has a very sheer red tint that naturally enhances your lip color. It’s perfect for everyday look! It contains caster oil, beeswax and lanolin. Also I love the tube packaging. It is convenient and perfect on the go. You don’t need to worry about leaking.
I love this product and the concept. It’s shaped like a lipstick which is genius and so it allow you to specifically target areas a lot easier than a scrub would. It also tastes amazing. It can get a little rough but when that happens just wet your lips some more and it helps soften the brown sugar particles
So as a darker skin girl, I’ve never been satisfied with any of the nudes on the market and then I actually went on a hunt to find one that would work for me no matter what! ✨After a long time, I found it (I think lol). I love both of these products. The fenty gloss is ALWAYS in my purse and the Hot Chocolit shade as to be my favourite 💕 it’s just the perfect brown tint without being cool tones or warm toned and looks GORGEOUS on anyone with a tanner complexion. I love lip liners and this is my first MAC lip liner so I wanted to see what their range of nude lip colours looked like and this seemed to be the perfect shade for me! Hover isn’t too orange, not too neutral and NOT PINK 🙅🏽♀️ which seems to be the go to for brown girls and I hate that look on my self 😭 so I always line my lips, and then toss the gloss on and I’m good to go, regardless of what look I am doing that day 😋

Just not loving Glossy Box :(
This was the Black Friday Glossy Box (missing a sachet of conditioner) and I’m just not overly impressed with their boxes lately. They seem so random. What beauty box subscriptions do you LOVE?

My well-loved drugstore makeup essentials
These are the drugstore makeup picks I ACTUALLY use! Don’t get me wrong, I love a good Tarte Shapetape Concealer. Even the latest launches from Rare Beauty have me swooning. But drugstore makeup holds a special place in my heart. Walking through the aisles of Target or CVS gets me giddy. Quite honestly, I count those trips as my therapy sessions. Plus, these are the places were I started getting essentials to experiment with when I was younger! My favorite brands to score from are no doubt Pixi, NYX, Essence Cosmetics, Sonia Kashuk, Maybelline and Covergirl. They’re just my go-to’s! They’re the brands constantly putting out dupes for cult favorites. Everything in this picture, I use on a daily basis. I’ve been going through Maybelline Lifter Glosses like they’re going out of style. I actually was responsible for my local Target running out of stock once...oops. Another new essential that’s crawled its way into my everyday routine is the Covergirl Cooling Glow Stick. It’s part of their new Clean Fresh line and I use it on my WHOLE face. Top tip: try it under your eyes over your concealer 👀 I’m still in search for the perfect drugstore CC cream, does anyone have any good recommendations?
Why I Decided to Ditch My Clarisonic Brush
Back in the day, my clarisonic - MIA 2 FACIAL CLEANSING BRUSH was my go to. I started using it religiously (daily). Well, deciding that once a day was way too much to use an abrasive electronic brush on my face, I decided to only use it when needed. When I would use it here and there, almost every time I would breakout. I tried using brand new heads, replacing the heads regularly, etc. In contrast of my personal experience with this brush, much research is shown that these brushes can damage the acid mantle, protective film and natural oils, and amino acids that are on our skin. Abrasive skin tools to me were just a fad and now that we have come so far with knowledge on a healthy skin care routine, we should focus on products that effect the skins beauty from within by using appropriate ingredients that penetrate the skin and change it from the inside out. To me, a deep clean from a brush is not worth me breaking out. I would rather use a chemical exfoliant (such as The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution ) or a gently microdermabrasion paste/wash (such as philosophy - The Microdelivery Exfoliating Facial Wash ) when needed. What is the go to way to exfoliate your face? Also, has anyone had the same experience with Clarisonic brushes or face brushes in general?
