Though these emotions can and do exist within social media platforms, it isn't necessarily a priority for most social apps. Here at Cherie, it is. As a beauty app that values authenticity in our community, it's important that we're able to show gratitude and empower our peers when they take the time to share their honest beauty stories and reviews. Enter our new "Cheers" feature, the perfect way to show your fellow beauty lovers just how much you appreciate them.A Feature Based in ThanksThe need for a feature like "Cheers" came about when team Cherie noticed our users were creating incredibly honest, thoughtful, and helpful content to aid other users in making the best beauty purchases. We thought that there should be a more joyful and fun way to show fellow Cherie users that you were grateful for their content, and to empower them to keep sharing! From that feeling, "Cheers" was born! Characterized by two clapping hands, sending someone a "Cheers" on Cherie means you find their post helpful, and you're encouraging them to keep it going! The Green Juice Cleanse for Age Prevention
I’m a fan of YTTP products, and while I still like this cleanser, it’s not my favourite cleanser or product by them. I love the scent — it’s light and fresh. Smells just like the Superfood Air-Whip Moisture Cream. YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser I love the texture of this cleanser and how great of a job it did with cleansing my skin. With my first use I toned my skin following cleansing just to see if it got all my makeup off and it DID! There was no trace of any whatsoever. I found this very gentle as well. The only downside is that it left my skin feeling a little on the dryer side — this is why I gave it only 4 stars. When I use this I follow it with my normal serums and then apply the Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream. To Use: I dampen my skin and apply a small amount onto my finger tips and lather it up and then apply it onto my face and massage it for approximately 1 minute. What I Love About It: + the fresh scent + how great of a job it does with cleansing my skin + very gentle; I haven’t noticed any breakouts :) + the recycling packaging, although with the smaller size it’s not really ideal to get the desired amount by unscrewing the lid and pouring the product onto your hand, etc. + the cold-pressed antioxidants + it’s vegan, and it’s paraben-free and sulfate-free Benefits According to YTTP: Kale: rich in vitamins C, E, & K Spinach: a skin-smoother that boosts moisture and has natural cooling properties Green Tea: anti-inflammatory and packed with essential fatty acids I think this product would be great for oilier skin types or combination skin. However, maybe I’m the only one to have found this slightly drying and people with dry skin may feel differently haha. The size in my photo is 30 mLs. Larger size is 237 mLs and retails for $47 CAD (has a pump).

How To Grow STRONG & HEALTHY Nails💅🏻✨
Here’s my nail story: I’ve always been the person in my friend with the nice nails that 9 times out of 10 always look freshly painted and without any chips. I’ve painted my own nails starting in middle school and always had them painted throughout high school and college. I also dabbled in soft gel nails in my senior year of high school and 1-2x a year throughout college. But I’ve always preferred painting my own nails because I love the act of doing it (it’s very therapeutic to me!) and I love being able to change colors whenever I want. My friends always complain about how their nail polish chips within a day and that they can never grow them out long before they break. Here are the tips I always tell them: Square nails with sharp corners always tend to get caught on thing as you grow them out so square-shaped nails can never last long. I like a squoval (square/oval) shape because it’s the natural curve of my nail bed and the rounded corners never get caught and break! Don’t cut your cuticles!!! I have never ever cut my cuticles before. My grandma always told me once you cut your cuticles you can never go back. Your cuticles are there on your fingers for a reason! They protect your nail bed!!! All I do with my cuticles is push them back with a cuticle stick and it gives me the perfect amount of space and shape for me to paint and follow. Cuticle Oil (like Sally Hansen - Cuticle Rehab Oil ) is key!!! I appy cuticle oil literally wherever and whenever I remember. By keeping your cuticles moisturized your nails can grow out stronger and longer, and it also prevents any hangnails from forming. I love this cuticle oil so much! The packaging makes it easy to pack in your purse on-the-go and apply anywhere! The formula isn’t super greasy and won’t get your phone feeling oily if you use it right after application. I definitely prefer it to the othe cuticle oils I’ve tried. Hand Cream (like Glossier. - Glossier Hand Cream ) is super underrated for keeping your nails moisturized and healthy! I apply hand cream right after I wash my hands to moisturize my cuticles and keep my hands looking plump! Smooth and hydrated hands always makes your nails look better!! This hand cream from Glossier is alright- not the most hydrating hand cream I’ve tried but not the worst. It smells amazing and gives enough moisture for humid weather in the summer months! These are my biggest tips on keeping your nails strong and healthy! Also- if you do gel nails, give yourself a break every now and then. The chemicals in the gel can really damage your nail beds. I have many friends who rely on gel to keep their nails strong but it’s a vicious cycle that will keep your nails weak on their own!
My Go-To eyeshadow palette!
#ad #cheriepartner #beautywithoutbarriers Hey everyone! I thought I’d talk a bit about my favourite eyeshadow palette! It’s the Anastasia Beverly Hills soft glam palette. It’s the one I use and recommend the most (and I own a lot of eyeshadow palettes 😂) I tend to do my signiture brown eyeshadow look constantly with the softer warmer toned colours. This palette is so versatile- you can create natural looks, wedding makeup looks, smokey looks and sultry looks all with this one palette. It definitely is a staple for your makeup collection! It’s got all the colours you need to do a pretty eye look with and go out to hit the town! I used to love the Anastasia Beverly Hills modern renaissance palette which is also amazing- but I find it has more brown tones and natural colours to work with. I also purchased the subculture palette but found this one didn’t quite work for me as the shades were much harder to blend and would almost go patchy (a lot of people have this one not so good reviews). The palette retails for $86NZD from my favourite makeup store- Mecca Maxima. It may seem a little pricey, but having one amazing eyeshadow palette is all you need! And despite having hundreds of products in my collection, I always tend to go for the same things that I’m comfortable and confident in using! All the shades are super pigmented and blend easily on the eyes. There’s 5 shimmer/metallic shades and 9 matte shades- the perfect combo that compliment each other well. The shades don’t go on patchy or stain the skin at all. Swatches even come off easily with a bit of warm water and hand soap! Eyeshadows that blend well and that go on in one swipe is a must if you want to create a beautiful makeup look that’ll wear all day. I love the packaging of the palette too- it’s simple but classy, isn’t too big or hunky so perfect for travel, it has a mirror inside which I use when I go away and it comes with a double sided makeup brush which is actually really good quality! I could achieve a whole eye makeup look with this brush alone. The shades I wear the most are ‘burnt orange’ for the crease (it’s the only shade I’ve hit pan on!) It’s the perfect tone for the crease and the lower lash line. Then I use ‘rustic’ in the outer corner and the far lower lash line. I use the shade ‘tempera’ on my brow bone and will put the shade ‘glistening’ in my inner corner. I will also use my finger to apply ‘bronze’ in the centre of my eyelids. Using your finger makes the shades go on more pigmented and appear brighter. Let me know if you like this palette or if you’re willing to give it a go! 😍 ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette
