Huda Beauty made waves with their iconic rose gold eyeshadow palette. Gurus loved the sultry, smokey looks that they could create with it and the diverse range of colors that it offered. From that point on, Huda Beauty defined their brand as one that could tell a coherent color story. Their new mini pastel palettes really go well with this idea. They come in Rose, Lilac, and Mint options. These are iconic shades for the springtime and can suit any eye color. What’s even cooler about these palettes are the “swirl” shades! These blend two colors together in ways that are very unique and exciting. 2. ColourPop Sailor Moon Collection (restock TBD - early March)

Celebrity makeup artist Jordan Liberty teamed up with iconic makeup brand Sigma to bring you an all new collection of brushes. This is a huge win for Jordan, after his shocking 2017 cancer diagnosis. What makes these stand out beyond his inspiring resilience and strength is the quality the brushes offer. They’re the first makeup brushes on the market to be completely waterproof. That’s right! These brushes are designed so they stand the test of time and don’t completely crumble after a certain amount of washes.4. Benefit Cheek Stars Reunion Tour Palette (Limited Edition)

At this point, I’m sure we’re all familiar with Benefit’s legendary Hoola bronzer. Everyone began using it back when our favorite beauty gurus first began turning on their cameras in their bedrooms to film Sephora hauls. Now, this cult classic bronzer is featured in a palette. The palette’s costars are the “Sugrarbomb” blush, which is a gorgeous spring pink, and “Georgia,” a highlight reminiscent of its namesake’s peaches, and they are celebrities in their own right. This palette is set to keep you looking dewy and sun-kissed on your Spring Break beach adventures!5. Bobbi Brown Skin Long-Wear Fluid Powder Foundation SPF 20

Don’t miss it! This brush set is a 10!
Don’t miss it! This brush set is a 10!
Brush set for beginners, it’s a 10! You must have!!! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 If I can only choose one make up brush set to keep using that Real Techniques Core Collection Makeup Brush Set is my NO.1 option. REAL TECHNIQUES - Core Collection I've showed how much I loved this brand on last powder brush review. So this core brushset is composed of a buffing brush, a detailer brush, a pointed foundation brush, and a contour brush. It has all the brushes that you need for powders, creams, mineral makeup, and even liquids. Unique and affordable. I briefly reviewed the brushes individually below: Detailer Brush: The small detailer brush can be used for applying eyeshadow to small areas, like highlighting the inner corner or brow bone, or applying a color just on one part of the lid, or also for concealer. Square Foundation Brush: The only brush I don't use is the flat foundation brush simply because I don't like to apply my foundation with brushes like that and also it's kinda small to apply foundation, but may be nice to apply it in small or hard to get areas. You could also use it to apply face masks if you don't like to use your hands. Buffing Brush: The buffing brush in this collection is amazing. It's my go to foundation brush, it's a flawlessly blends foundation. Contour Brush: The contour brush is a little too small for all over foundation application but it can be used for contouring, bronzer, blush, highlighter, and powder (it's nice to set Undereye with). It is also perfect brush for hollowing those cheekbones or applying under eye setting powder. The brushes are made of synthetic so it won’t absorb the cosmetics. For precise application, each brush is handcrafted to obtain the perfect shape. And each brush has a name on it which makes it ideal for beginners. I swear before I bought this set, I was really dazzled by the variety of brushes, totally have no idea how to use them. By the way, they are lightweight and easy to use!! Fantastic quality as well! You can guarantee that it is made of high quality since it is created by renowned celebrity makeup artist, Samantha Chapman. PROFESSIONAL! Pros: ● Perfect for newbies ● Ultra-plush, cruelty-free, brushes ● Panoramic case Cons: ● The pointed foundation blush may be too small ● Some sets sold on Amazon may be fake ● The case can’t fit more brushes
Easy Pedicure & Nail Polish Review
Easy Pedicure & Nail Polish Review
WARNING! I’m serious! If you hate feet do not scroll into the photos. I’ve had surgery on my feet so my toenails do not look normal (thanks, youth sports!). NOW! Onto the review. Today I’ll be reviewing the Play Rosé nail polish by Holo Taco. HOLO TACO - Play Rosé This is a newer nail polish brand that was created by a YouTuber. Now I usually do not buy into celebrity brands but this one has SO MANY unique formulas that other brands don’t offer. So I just had to try them out! After purchasing some basic polishes last year, I finally caved and ordered a “holo” (rainbow shifting) formula. The Play Rosé is a holographic rainbow glitter formula with a rose gold base. It’s GORGEOUS. I will say that it does take 2 coats to get good coverage on the nail if you’re using it by itself. My beef with this polish is that when it dries down, it feels like sandpaper, so you really need to seal it in with a top coat for it to feel normal, and any areas you miss with the top coat can be sharp and annoying. The top coat I used here is HOLO TACO - Super Glossy Taco . I paid $14 for this nail polish and that’s definitely a premium price, but it’s a unique formula. You do also get a more-than-standard amount of polish in the bottle. If you’re in the market for a super high quality rose gold rainbow glitter nail polish, this is the one for you! This really makes a pedicure fun. I usually only use boring polishes on my toenails but I love how this turned out! 4/5 #CheriePartner
Drugstore Lip Satin Under $10 That Lasts All Day
Drugstore Lip Satin Under $10 That Lasts All Day
LIP STAIN VS LIPSTICK? LIP STAIN DEFINITELY!!! L'ORÉAL - L’oreal Paris Rouge Signature Metallic Liquid Lipstick Ok at this point, I guess it's safe (and sad) to say that I am ADDICTED to this matte lip stain!  The reason why do I prefer lip stains better is because they are much more moisturizing, unlike many others that dry out the lips, plus they actually last.👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 I’m always amazed by how well it stays on throughout the day. There’s nothing worse than putting on a bold lipstick and having it come off after your first sip of coffee. With L’Oreal, that doesn’t happen. I can even eat full meals confident my lip color will stay on. Does the stain eventually fade?  Of course… But what I love about this stain is that they stay looking very even.. I often find with other lip stains, the color starts to fade more in the center of my lips, leaving a darker outline. Not cute.. CONCLUSION: Pros: ✔️ Ultra-lightweight formula Brand credibility Highly pigmented load Fresh matte finish Ultra-comfortable Feels like it’s not there Cost Effective Price ($9.9 | drugstore) Cons: ❌ Does not have SPF Might be patchy for some This is the perfect choice when you want statement colors with a barely-there feel. Despite the matte finish it stays comfortable and flexible without cracking. No liner needed. I will continue to buy these!!$ Definitely recommend it! Included pictures, the colors tend to look a bit different on Asian girls, so I wanted to give ya a gander at what this color looks like on this yellow-skin gal. :-) 💚💚💚
My favorite easy daily eye look
My favorite easy daily eye look
When I say I am no-frills, no-nonsense, usually-roll-out-of-bed-and-wear-no-makeup-during-quarantine-because-duh....I’m not kidding. HOWEVER, when we were in simpler times and I actually left my house for work on a daily basis, and saw people, I actually did my eye makeup. Now when I tell you I have sensitive, dry eyes I am so serious. I have rosacea which affects the face but also can cause super dry eyes, so I have to be careful about the products I use in that area. My favorite daily eye look includes 2 shadows, 1 brush, a liquid liner, and a mascara. Let me tell you THE DEETS... 1. BASE. I will sometimes use my concealer as my eye base but I usually just don’t use one at all. If you prefer to use one, go for it! 2. BASE SHADOW. I typically use one shadow all over applied with my fingertip. Today I used the shade “natural peaches” from the Tarte/Grav3yardgirl eyeshadow palette, which is no longer for sale but you can use any neutral matte shadow that matches your skin tone. 3. CREASE. I take the same bronzer I’m using on my face, dip my super fluffy Morphe M433 brush into it, and windshield-wiper it into my crease and kind of create an outer V shape with it. The bronzer I’m using today is the Fenty powder bronzer in “shady biz”: FENTY BEAUTY - Sun Stalk'r Instant Warmth Bronzer MORPHE - M433 Pro Firm Blending Fluff Brush I use this super fluffy brush since I have hooded eyes and need to create an overdramatic crease or else you wouldn’t see any shadow! 4. LOWER LASH LINE. After deepening my crease, I take the same brush and lightly run it under my lower lash line. Blend blend blend! 5. LINER. I use a brush-tip liquid liner to create a super tiny line with the smallest wing along the outer half of my upper lash line. I will usually use brown, but all I have is black. Today I used the URBAN DECAY - Perversion Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner which is nice but it did sting my eyes a little bit. The pain went away fairly quickly though so I still use it. 6. MASCARA. I try to use a non-dramatic mascara that won’t clump. Any mascara will do! Today I used the new Lash Freak by Urban Decay URBAN DECAY - Lash Freak Volumizing & Lengthening Mascara i haven’t been using it long enough to give a super detailed review but I really don’t like the wand. I might actually just use a different wand with it since I like the formula so far. I used this on my upper and lower lashes! What are your go-go products for your daily eye look? #CheriePartner
Honey Fail
Honey Fail
Let me talk today about a product that did NOT work for me. FARMACY - Honey Grail Ultra-Hydrating Face Oil ————- What is it: (from the brand) A fast-absorbing, antioxidant-rich face oil for ultimate hydration and glow! This luxuriously lightweight, multitasking miracle worker revitalizes skin and helps smooth fine lines and wrinkles. ————— I received this when I won a contest the brand hosted. I had never worked with an oil before and was very hesitant to do so. I didn’t know anything about the ingredients nor what could cause irritation for me. I was just starting my skincare journey. The first ingredient is Cocoglycerides which are a mixture of mono, di and triglycerides derived from COCONUT OIL. This gives the moisturizing benefits of coconut oil, and similarly, this emollient ingredient helps give your skin a soft, smooth appearance. Listed second is Caprylic triglyceride, an ingredient used in soaps and cosmetics. It's usually made from combining COCONUT OIL with glycerin. And listed fourth is COCONUT OIL! So needless to say, HIGH LEVELS OF COCONUT OIL! Wow! And I quickly found out it caused me to break out. In all fairness I gave this several tries just to be certain. Even a full year later. But every single time I tried it, I broke out. What is the benefit to using coconut oil? It can help reduce inflammation, keeps skin moisturized & hydrated, helps protect against bacteria & here’s a twist, it possess antimicrobial properties that can help treat acne 🤷‍♀️ But, coconut oil is also highly comedogenic, which means it can clog pores. Consequently, it may actually make acne worse for some people. It is NOT recommended for those with oily skin. FARMACY - Honey Grail Ultra-Hydrating Face Oil is a very thick, rich oil. I tried using a drop or two mixed in with my foundation and it blended beautifully but not worth the breakouts. It has a soft honey scent. Not bothersome and it did go away quite quickly. It comes in a dropper bottle. Farmacy Beauty claims that Honey Grail is non-comedogenic that it has been thoroughly tested by an independent research lab and confirmed to be non-comedogenic so it won’t clog pores. I’m not sure how this can be true being they use coconut oil and so many people have claims saying they have had breakouts or irritation due to this product. It also contains LIMONENE & LIMONENE which are added scents and I am working hard to eliminate products with added fragrance and dyes. I’d HIGHLY recommend that if you’re interested in trying this one out you get yourself a sample first. It’s $48 for 1 oz I use what I have for my hair. It works great to add some shine. I’ve also added a few drops into my body moisturizer just to try out. I keep it to my legs as my upper body can still break out from the oil. Much ❤️ @cheriefamily 🍒 #CherieCreator
