The 13 Best Face Oils Out There For Flawless, Glowing Skin

It was time to get a new moisturizer. I was currently using the HONEST - Hydrogel Cream paired with the PAULA'S CHOICE - Omega+ Complex Moisturizer , RADHA BEAUTY - Rosehip Oil , and timeless SKIN CARE - Squalane Oil 100% Pure because I have pretty dry skin. I love both of those moisturizers (although I’m not fond of all the Paula’s choice Omega+ complex moisturizer ingredients, but I loooooove the texture and feeling of it ) and love my oils (I won’t stop using the oils), but knew I needed a richer cream and also wanted to keep it down to just one cream, for time and my bank accounts sake. So if you’ve seen my last post, I was deciding between 3 brands but I couldn’t decide and was also nervous to try a new moisturizer, even though I knew I needed one, because I’m also acne prone so a new moisturizer to me was just terrifying lol. I was about to just get my usual HONEST - Hydrogel Cream because I knew it didn’t break me out and I like it a lot, although not quite as moisturizing as I need, it was on the safer side and I can’t imagine going a day without a moisturizer on this Sahara desert of a face!!! But then I discovered this brand I’ve never seen before? It’s called Awake Human. It’s not even a listing on Cherie for me to add the product! I read the ingredients and was intrigued (scroll through pics to see ingredients list), but because of my fear of new moisturizers, I was hesitant.. but I decided to bite the bullet because the ingredients looked amazing, was cheaper than Paula’s choice and the honest beauty’s moisturizer, but had the same amount of product. I received it a few days ago and I am in love!!!!! Soooooo rich and creamy and hydrating feeling, and it had the same smooth, rich, texture as the Paula’s Choice omega moisturizer, that I love so much!!! It comes in a nice little pump type of packaging, which I like. Keeps bacteria and gunk out. If you scroll through my pictures, you’ll see it. And a little bit goes a long way! The picture you see of the product on my fingers is the amount I use, but you can totally use less, especially if you have more oily or normal skin. I just like a lot of moisturizer! Lol I’ve noticed my face is much less dry feeling and looks smoother with less texture. I will keep you updated, but I think this is my new fave!!!! I’m so excited lol. You need both a humectant which draw moisture to the skin and occlusive ingredients which keep water from evaporating off of your skin. 🌓𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝗮 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗿. This is really important in the winter if you are using humectant heavy moisturizer. The dry air can pull the water out of your skin. Sounds crazy right? 🚫𝗔𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴. Here is a SUPER easy Dutch braid into a bun - perfect for the gym when you don’t want your hair getting in your face when you’re moving around! Begin with the Dutch braid which is a 3 strand braid taking pieces from either side of your head, UNDER the middle strand of hair. My skin feels smooth and hydrated after using it. However, it has a LOT of fragrance. I don't mind the smell, but it does linger. #Seraphine Botanicals - Apple + Baume Glow Lip Mask[products]#[FiveStars] A great lip mask! Hydrated lips nicely! I like applying this as I start my makeup routine and it's usually absorbed by the time I get to my lips. #Trust Fund Beauty - Lipgasm Lip Gloss[products]#[FourStars] this is a pretty gloss but it is a bit sticky. ... and i have a lot to say! it has been ages since i posted a detailed review of a product, so we might as well just dive in! COVERGIRL - Clean Fresh Cooling Glow Highlighter Stick the first product from this collection that i tried was their cooling glow stick. i own shades “opal dreams”, which is a nice opal pale-pink shade, as well as “so gilty” which is a more warm-toned golden nude shade. they are super cooling and have a nice natural sheen to them which can be emphasized by topping with a powder highlight. i find myself reaching for this a lot to make my complexion dewy and nice! COVERGIRL - Clean Fresh Hydrating Concealer i think people who do exclusively natural makeup will love this product. it is creamy and suitable for drier complexions (unlike my own), but the coverage simply isn’t enough for me. i would consider it light-medium, but i do usually choose the higher-coverage (but MUCH DRIER) COVERGIRL - TruBlend Undercover Concealer . COVERGIRL - Clean Fresh Pressed Powder i like this powder. i own the translucent shade and the flashback is nothing crazy. i do find i have to use a lot more of it than i did when i used to use the MAYBELLINE - Fit Me Matte + Poreless Powder. COVERGIRL - Clean Fresh Skin Milk Foundation i like this foundation as well. it does have a unique smell which may trouble some but the coverage is nice and the finish could be described as satin. people either love or hate this foundation, but i think it is great and will certainly repurchase it!
