If you can tick any of those boxes, you probably have damaged hair. Anything from over-brushing to using too many heat tools or coloring hair can inflict stress on your strands that makes hair hard to manage. It's important to take action ASAP because as hair splits further up the hair shaft, it becomes weaker and more likely to snap off, eventually resulting in thinner hair that can only be saved with a good cut. We'd recommend keeping the heat tools to a minimum, combing (instead of brushing) wet hair, and getting regular trims, but ultimately healthy hair begins with your haircare routine. For those experiencing tangles, frizz, and split ends, it's important to get every step right. Scroll down to meet the tried-and-tested products that will help to bring damaged hair back to life.Olaplex Hair Perfector No. 3Coloring, blow-drying, and straightening hair results in broken or weak bonds within each strand, which ultimately leads to hair breakage and split ends. Going one step further than traditional moisture masks, Olaplex's bestselling No3 Hair Perfector contains a patented ingredient that cleverly repairs the bonds within each strand of hair. It's perfect for hair that's been over-processed, bleached, or experienced longterm damage. Leave in for a few hours (or overnight) for the best results.
OLAPLEXHair Perfector No. 3Amika Kure Intense Repair MaskThose with textured, dry, or damaged tresses should give the hair some weekly TLC with a moisture-boosting hair treatment like Amika's Kure Intense Repair Mask. The ingredients (including jojoba oil and vitamin-rich sea buckthorn berry) provide intensive hydration to every strand while repairing damage and sealing split ends. The mask works its magic in ten minutes - but if you're dealing with severe tangles, leave it on overnight and rinse it out in the morning. Your hair will feel like silk.Shea Moisture 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Daily Hydration Leave-In TreatmentEveryone knows that coconut oil is the holy grail ingredient of the haircare world (especially if you have natural hair). It's ultra-moisturizing - thanks to fatty acids that can actually penetrate the hair shaft (unlike other oils) but is also incredibly soothing to the scalp as well. Using pure coconut oil is great but time-consuming and messy, so spray in Shea Moisture's 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Daily Hydration Leave-In Treatment instead. It's quick and easy to use, and you'll notice equally impressive hydration, minus the mess.R + Co High Dive Moisture & Shine CremeProving that it's possible to style and treat your hair at the same time, R + Co's High Dive Moisture & Shine Creme is the ultimate 2-in-1 for damaged hair. Boosted with sunflower seed extract (to condition hair and lock in moisture) and vitamin E (to prevent breakage), it leaves hair looking instantly smoother and shinier. Apply to hair before blow-drying to keep frizz and flyaways at bay.Bumble & Bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil Heat Protective PrimerSince blowdryers and straightening irons can hit your hair with a scorching 400 degrees, it is important to make sure your hair isn't literally feeling the burn. A generous mist of Bumble & Bumble's Hairdresser's Invisible Oil Heat Protective Primer provides hair with a fortified defense against heat tools and UV damage while working to undo breakage and tame frizz. Spray it on after washing or before styling your hair.
Bumble and bumble.Bb.Hairdresser's Invisible Oil Heat/UV Protective PrimerOuai Hair OilHair oils have a bad rep for making hair feel heavy and look greasy, but Ouai's Hair Oil is surprisingly light. The formula contains ama and borage seed oils, which help to repair frayed ends, quell frizz, and prevent color fading without weighing hair down. Apply 1-2 drops to damp or dry hair - you'll find strands instantly look shinier and healthier, and are easier to manage and style.

Here’s how to take care of oily acne-prone skin☺
Most of us acne patients suffer from oily skin. Excess sebum produced by our skin may clog pores which eventually leads to acne. In this post, I’d like to share my top tricks in controlling my oily acne-prone skin and hopefully be able to help even at least one of you 🙈☺️ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐎𝐬: 1. 𝐃𝐎 𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐰𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐚 𝐝𝐚𝐲. This has always worked for me. Sometime before, I tried not washing my face in the AM and it just made me so much oilier during the day resulting in more breakouts. Importantly, remember to wash your face every after workout too. Sweat combined with sebum is a perfect recipe for acne and skin irritation. 𝟐. 𝐃𝐎 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐚 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐡. Although salicylic acid cleanser helped tremendously in my teenage years, it isn’t necessarily beneficial for me now that my skin is more dehydrated and my skin barrier compromised. Salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide cleansers may still help on days when you’re feeling extra oily but resist using it daily. Use a gentle foaming face wash from Vanicream, Hada Labo, Cerave. 𝟑. 𝐃𝐎 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐚 𝐦𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐫 𝐝𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲. You can have oily skin and dehydrated skin at the same time. Because your face is not hydrated enough, your glands may overcompensate for the lack of moisture by producing more oils. Do not ever skip this step! Your best option is to use an oil-free, non-comedogenic moisturizer like Paula’s Choice Clear Oil-Free Moisturizer, Neutrogena oil-free and hydroboost gel cream, and if you have rosacea too, use procure rosacare gel. 𝟒. 𝐃𝐎 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐮𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. SPF 30+ or up should always be worn especially for oily skin. Unprotected sun exposure can lead to more acne flare-ups. Zinc oxide and titanium dioxide mineral sunscreens are your top options. Zinc doesn’t only protect skin but also helps calm irritated skin. My favorites are Elta MD physical and Purito Water, Clinique Broad Spectrum, .. If you like chemical sunscreen better, I highly recommend Eucerin and Sun BUm. 𝟓. 𝐃𝐎 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬. Keratolytic ingredients such as benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid that are available over-the-counter can be your best friends when used properly. It is important to note that when using an active, stick to a minimal skincare routine to reap the best results and use of one acne treatment at a time is a must, especially if you’re just starting out. If you have moderate to severe acne, I would go for Differin Adapalene gel or a retinoid such as Retin-A and Atralin. Retinoids may not only get rid of your acne but also heal and renew your skin in the deeper layers. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐎𝐍’𝐓𝐬: 𝟏. 𝐃𝐎𝐍'𝐓 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫-𝐞𝐱𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞. Over-exfoliating is probably something we’re all once obsessed with. Unfortunately, this habit can only lead us to a damaged skin barrier thus, compromising our skin’s own ability to heal itself. It’s best to limit the use of exfoliating ingredients twice a week when starting or one exfoliating acid/active at a time once a day after your skin has adjusted. 𝟐. 𝐃𝐎𝐍’𝐓 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞. I say it all the time, fragrance in skincare is BAD and does nothing good for you. The use of fragrance in cosmeceutical products is unregulated and companies are not required to disclose all components used in their products. The formulation may have a lot of unknown toxic chemicals that can be harmful to you. Without knowing and often initially not externally evident, fragrance can irritate your skin deep down, cause toxic hormonal effects, and may even cause cancer. Fragrance is a NO-NO for everyone and most especially for acne-prone people or those with other skin diseases. I have suffered the consequences of my bad choices myself. Do yourself a favor and ditch your fragrance-containing products too. 𝟑. 𝐃𝐎𝐍’𝐓 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐡𝐨𝐥-𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬. Certain types of alcohol such as ethanol, isopropyl alcohol, and alcohol denat. are extremely drying and irritating especially to acne-prone skin. 𝟒. 𝐃𝐎𝐍’𝐓 𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐮𝐩. Always make sure you wash away all makeup and accumulated dirt on the face before you sleep. 𝟓. 𝐃𝐎𝐍’𝐓 𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐩𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐬. Change your pillowcases frequently. I always make sure I sleep on new ones every week. 𝟔. 𝐃𝐎𝐍’𝐓 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞. Picking at your acne can only add dirt and germs to your skin and may cause more issues. Frequently wash your hands if you’re an absent-minded face rubber or cover the pimples with acne patches. Viral Celeb Luxury Colorwash 🌺
Have you ever wanted to try out a fun hair color but was too timid of the upkeep or maybe your workplace wouldn’t allow it?? OR If you already have fun colored hair, do you hate how fast it washes out???? * I do!* Then you TOTALLY need to try the Viral Celeb Luxury Colorwash! 🌈🌈🌈 This COLORFUL shampoo is meant to add in or refresh any unicorn 🦄, mermaid🧜🏼♀️, galaxy🪐 hair your heart desires! With one wash you will see color in your hair! I use it about once a week or if I know I’m going to be doing pictures (or going out when we were able to lol) ⭐️This is a SEMI PERMANENT hair color, meaning it will stain the cuticle (or outside layer) AND partially enter into the cortex (second layer) of the hair! Since it is a semi permanent color, it washes out very fast but DEPENDING on the color of your current hair and what color shampoo you choose, will impact the results of the final look! ⭐️ 💛If you have blonde hair, it will be more true to color and the pastel colors are for you! 🤎If you have light brown or red hair, the medium to darker colors will work for you! 🖤Dark brown or black hair, it could potentially change your hair color but only slightly! ‼️IMPORTANT THIS IS NOT AN EXCUSE TO USE LIGHTEN OR BLEACH HAIR AT HOME! PLEASE WAIT FOR A PROFESSIONAL TO BLEACH YOUR HAIR‼️ I have been using this product for over 5 years and personally have tried almost every color they sell! These are my two go to colors!!! The pastel pink is so fun to have and lasts ALOT longer than you might expect! The Lavender is great but sometimes appears to turn out blue or more of what I like to call blurple! I love to mix them together in my hair, or split my hair in half for a Harley Quinn effect! The options are endless!! BE CREATIVE, HAVE FUN & REMEMBER ITS JUST HAIR! 🤍 So if you are currently at home on quarantine, this is such a fun way to spice up your hair without hurting it in any way! If you have any questions on what color to buy, comment below and I would love to help you choose the best for your hair color! ❤️❤️ #cheriecreator #hairstyist #colorfulhair #unicorn
How do you heal and treat your skin?
✨I’m gonna share with you my nighttime treatment my skin really appreciates, and how I wake up with much cleaner and radiant skin. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✨ For a very long time , I would always wake up with dull skin and uneven texture. There won’t be any radiance or glow , and its sort of demotivating to start the day like that. Acne wasn’t a big problem but it did occur few times a month and would always leave scars or blemishes. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✨ A while ago I came across a Acne Treatment oil called ‘Meltdown’ by @blume 💕 ✨ What is it? It’s an oil for Acne Prone Skin which you can use to prevent acne, clear acne and blemishes. It’s a blend of all natural ingredients. ✨ Key Ingredients Rosehip, Blue Tansy, Tamanu, Lavender, Black Cumin Seed ✨ My thoughts At nighttime, I usually cleanse my with @blume milk based face wash ‘Daydreamer’ . I really like it because its so creamy and gentle. It doesn’t irritate my eyes or skin. To use ‘Meltdown’ , I mix a few drops of this essential oil based serum with @milkmakeup moisturizer. It calms down any inflammation I have and its a perfect nighttime treatment to heal my skin. Now I wake up with much clearer skin which I can feel confident about and start my day. It really heals the skin overnight and any acne I have goes away in a week or so. Its been amazing to clean up the blemishes, and there are only a few areas left. Also, for the people who weren’t able to use @milkmakeup vegan moisturizer because its too rich, I think it would be a great idea to mix it with an oil/serum so it suits your skin. - - What’re your favourite nighttime treatments? Let me know what you think ☺️ BLUME - Daydreamer Face Wash BLUME - Meltdown Milk MAKEUP - Vegan Milk Moisturizer
Quarantine Manicure 💅🏼
Hi my name is Katerina, you may call me Kat and I’m a neutrals girl. I gravitate to anything and everything neutrals. I may have 50 shades of neutral polish in my collection already. But that doesn’t stop me from adding more! I found this pretty shade on amazon during my regular quarantine browse. I never tried the miracle gel line and decided to give it a go. Just so you know I prefer regular polish for myself. I know you may pass judgment but hear me out! I feel like gel and shellac and other long lasting polishes destroy my nails. They become dry, thin, brittle and break easily. I don’t think it’s worth it. So I prefer to experiment with different brands of regular polishes to see which lasts the longest. Also a couple of chips here and there really don’t bother me. This is my 5th time using this product so I feel like I can give an honest review about how I feel about it. The color is called ‘Little Peony #247’🌸It’s a creamy baby pink shade. It almost reminds me of the OLD Essie Fiji color (my favorite shade of all time before they changed it to a darker pink color). It took two coats to get an even distribution of color and dried quickly when topped with Seche Vite top coat. The color started chipping around day five. But before you click away let me tell you that my hands are always in water. I’m a Chef, so I’m always working with my hands. I’m also a clean freak that still gets on her hands and knees to clean the floors from a bucket twice a week. So my hands take a beating on a regular basis and this polish managed to stay intact through the daily torture. If you’re not working this much with your hands I’m pretty sure you can get away with a week of it not chipping. I’m probably going to look into more shade from this collection and see if the Fórmula holds up for all their shades this well. If you’re still a regular polish fan I highly recommend this collection but especially this color because I die over it!
