Although we all strive to maintain the youngish look as much as possible, there is nothing bad in aging and that is a completely natural process. However, taking care of your skin and face is something that is a must and it consists of a certain routine. Depending on the skin type, there are different approaches, products, and treatments that you need to follow if you want to cover at least the basic skincare ground. From all the skin types, the sensitive type is the one that strikes out as the one needing most care, nurture, special products, and treatments because it is prone and easily damaged due to different influences. So, no matter if there is hormonal misbalance, dietary restrictions of some outside influence, the sensitive skin will manifest its results. That is why it must be taken care of regularly so that you can maintain a glowing look and complexion. Before we switch to the tips on some of the most important beauty tips for sensitive skin, here is a little reminder on how to determine whether you have a sensitive skin type. Sensitive skinThe sensitive skin type is the most delicate because it requires more attention and a different approach than the other skin types. It is very gentle and can manifest with signs of redness, itching, dryness, and burning. It is easily influenced by different weather conditions. The wind dries it very fast, while the sun can cause light burns, redness and skin irritation. Having sensitive skin can be genetically inherited or its sensitivity can be triggered by some factor or body hormones. Its treatment and maintaining the good looks are done by special sensitive skincare lines that are mainly consisted of mild and nurturing ingredients that feel light and easy on the sensitive skin. So, if you have found yourself in this skin type, here are 5 do-s that can be considered as beauty tips that you need to practice and incorporate in your daily routine if you want your skin to look healthy, radiant and glowing. 1. Moisturize and hydrateThe skin is composed of over 60% of water. Due to different outside influences, it can lose water. That is why the outside and inside hydration and keeping it well-moisturized will help the skin maintain its protective role. The healthy look of the skin comes from the well-balanced water cells. The sensitive skin is prone to dryness and that is why you need to keep it moisturized all of the time. This can be done using products that are rich in moisturizing ingredients. Some even have a 72-hour effect and lock the moisture inside. This makes the skin look plumped, healthy and glowing. Alongside the topical application of moisturizing products, it is very important to hydrate your body. Drinking lots of water will make the skin look good, the complexion will be healthier and the dry skin will become more elasticized. Water stimulates the rejuvenation of skin cells, which over some time, will result in lesser wrinkles and fine lines.2. Regulate your dietLike many other conditions, skin sensitivity can be triggered by the food that we insert. Although fast food, sodas, and sweets are something that no one can stay away from, it is best to focus on something else which will benefit your sensitive skin. Fresh juices and lots of water is what keeps the skin hydrated from the inside. 3. Sun protection is crucialProtection from the sun is crucial and important for keeping your skin healthy. The skin sensitivity is easily triggered by the harsh sun rays, which can result in redness, itchiness, and irritation. That is why the protection from the sun consists of several things. Wearing a hat with a wide brim will throw a nice shade over the face, keeping it safe from direct sun rays and it is a fashionable thing too. Wearing shades will also protect the area around the eyes and the cheeks. And wearing sunscreen with a high protection factor is something that must be considered at all times, not just in the summer.4. Choose suitable cosmeticsJust like the skincare line, choosing suitable makeup can play a great role in the good look of your skin. The beauty and makeup market today offers lots of different products that are specially designed for sensitive skin. They are rich in moisturizing ingredients, vitamins and are free of fragrance and other things that might irritate the skin additionally. Although some might consider that makeup covers all, the redness and the irritation might be only worsened by the use of inappropriate and unsuitable makeup. That is why you should always look for the sign "Fragrance-Free" and "No artificial colors" on the label of the makeup and cosmetics you are buying.5. Switch to BB creamsBB cream stands for beauty balm. These balms are lighter than the foundations. With that, they offer lighter and sheer coverage and they do not dry the skin too much. They are usually infused with rich doses of vitamins and cocktails, as well as hydration particles necessary for those with sensitive skin. BB creams are a much better choice and an option for sensitive skin instead of foundation. They contain fewer pigments, contrary to the foundations that are rich in them and tend to increase the dryness of the skin. That way the skin will look more natural and healthy instead of dry and cracked at the places. Basically, they cover, care and protect all in one. We at Cherie are dedicated into providing you with the most useful and necessary information regarding beauty, skincare, makeup and everything that one woman loves and follows. Following these tips and incorporating them into your regular skincare and beauty routine will keep the condition and the look of your sensitive skin on the highest possible level. BYE BYE STATIC👋
Frizz and fly-aways happen to the best of us. No matter how often we moisturize our hair during the winter, escaping static electricity seems impossible. To better understand how to tame your hair static, you need to know a little bit more about what causes it. So, What Causes Hair Static? Static electricity is created when two objects rub against each other. This swap causes a kind of electric charge to build up on your hair. If there is humidity in the air, the charge can usually just go away on its own.🙏🏼 There’s many ways one can get rid of fly-aways and hair static…You can use hair oils, leave-in conditioners, there’s even some anti-frizz, anti-static hair products you can use. However, I have found a way that works best for me. I got this idea from celebrity hair stylist, Jen Atkin (founder and owner of OUAI). She says that one of the best ways to get rid of fly-aways and hair static is by using a blush brush and hairspray. I have very thick, curly and frizzy hair naturally. My fly-aways and static appear on either side of my parting and they normally appear straight after I wash and straighten my hair. All I want is a sleek smooth look, but these fly-aways always get in the way.🙄 #Sorbet - Flexible and Shine Hairspray[products]#[FiveStars] I use the Flexible and Shine Hairspray from Sorbet. I love this product because it keeps everything in place but doesn’t harden your hair (that’s the worst). I spray this hairspray onto a plain old (no name brand) blush brush, and slowly stroke down the strands of hairs that are static. This really does work like a bomb. You do have to go over the strands a couple of times until all of them are sleek and smoothed down. There’s my little trick of the day. Try it out and let me know if this hack works for you! Paula x
Quick and Easy Halloween Hair Tutorial 🐭
I love Halloween! I love the decorations and the candy of course, but I don't love taking hours to get ready! Every year my costume is quick, easy and made using things I already have lying around. This year is now different, I'm going as a cute mouse and only needed 1 product for this hair look, the scünci - No Damage Elastics Brown ! I have super curly, shoulder length hair and did this style on second day hair. The only product that is in it is the CURLSMITH - Curl Defining Styling Souffle . It has strong hold and gives great definition. I applied on soaking wet hair and let my hair air dry. It's been slept on and gone through an intense workout, I didn't break the cast in order to wear it as long as possible! These mouse ears are super easy to do and will work for all hair types! You could also play around with the shape of the buns are create bunny or cat ears! For a classic mouse look go for a higher bun and add some volume to them! Here's how I did the mouse ears: 1. Section the hair in half with a middle part. 2. Using a hair tie create a pig tail on one side, you can choose the placement but because my hair is shorter I went with a side placement. 3. Add a matching pig tail to the other side! 4. Using your third hair tie create a fun bun! Since my hair is curly I didn't need to pull out any pieces but I love the messy look! 5. Do the same to the other side. 6. You can stop here and your done! OR add some fun accessories like sparkly clips and bobby pins! Have a safe and fun Halloween! I'll be posting a makeup tutorial for this look soon! 🐭❤️ #CheriePartner

This is my night skincare routine for oily, combination , acne prone skin. These products are so good and help me lots with painful acne around jawlines. 🧖🏻♀️I use #Senka - SENKA All Clear Water Micellar White[products]#[FiveStars] ove my makeup. I like this one because it has green tea in it and very suitable for combination acne prone skin. 💜 Next, I use TATCHA - The Rice Wash Soft Cream Cleanser aka the perfect winter cleanser. Even my usually oily skin likes this. It’s very gentle, smells so so nice and luxurious. Lathers beautiful but still creamy. It cleanses your face as it should but doesn’t dry your skin out during winter. 💆🏻♀️For acne treatment, I exfoliate withCOSRX - One Step Pimple Clear Pads 2x/week and use LA ROCHE-POSAY - Effaclar Adapalene Gel .01% Topical Retinoid Acne Treatment 3x/week but not in the same night. 🔥✨ Then we have this lovely moisturizer INDIE LEE - Daily Skin Nutrition I’ve tried many oil free moisturizer for my stubborn oily skin but nothing works. It’s always look dull and shiny in the afternoon. If you have the same issue this product is perfect for you. This moisturizer IMMEDIATELY sinks into your skin and keeps my skin hydrated all day. It makes my skin so soft, doesn’t feel sticky after applying, even suitable for sensitive skin. The only downside to this is it’s the scent. It smells kinda weird to me but will disappear after a few minutes. That’s all from me. Hope you like this post 😁 *Music: Together( Prod. by Lukrembo)
Ingredients Breakdown: Lancôme Best Seller💕
Heyyy guys! Today I want to share my favorite toner with you:💕 Lancôme Confort Tonique!! 💕 Here's the information I got from my dermatologist. Ingredients: 💕 Butylene Glycol: Butylene Glycol used in many self-care products, like shampoo, lotion, masks, cosmetics, etc. It is included in formulas for these types of products because it adds moisture and conditions hair and skin. Here are three major uses of butylene glycol. 🐝 Firstly, butylene glycol is a viscosity-decreasing agent. It makes other ingredients less likely to stick together, giving makeup and self-care products a fluid and even consistency. 🐝 Secondly, butylene glycol is a conditioning agent. Conditioning agents are ingredients that add a layer of softness or improved texture to your hair or skin. 🐝 Thirdly, solvents are ingredients that maintain a liquid consistency in a chemical compound. They help active ingredients that could become gritty or clumpy stay dissolved. 🐝 Butylene glycol benefits for acne： Butylene glycol is in made for people who have acne. It isn’t the active ingredient that treats acne in these products. The moisturizing and solvent properties in butylene glycol could make these products right for you. 💕 Sweet Almond Protein: Hydrolyzed sweet almond protein is a protein extracted from almonds that has been liquefied. It acts as a protective and moisturizing agent. In cleansing products, it reduces skin irritation and improves skin tolerability. 💕 Honey: Honey speeds up your skin cells’ healing processes. If you have blemishes or an eczema outbreak, honey that’s unpasteurized could speed healing and reduce inflammation. Manuka honey is so effective at healing wounds quickly that it’s now used by doctors in clinical settings 💕 Sodium Hyaluronate: Sodium hyaluronate has moisturizing benefits when applied topically to skin tissue. No injections are required. In addition, it mimics hyaluronic acid produced naturally by the body. It's non-irritating to skin and is usually well tolerated even by people with sensitive skin. It also has the ability to penetrate into deeper layers of the skin, and also attracts and binds water. This effect can plump the skin, thus reducing the look of wrinkles and making skin younger-looking ✨ Overall, I highly recommend this product to you, especially if you have dry skin!! ✨
AMONG US MAKEUP PRODUCT LIST
I’ve been asked multiple times by my awesome TikTok community to do a makeup look inspired by the popular video game, Among Us. I wanted to create an avant-garde version of their intro screen and promo posters, where the lil astronauts were all in space. Then I added all the colors mixed into a rectangular block on my face to match how the characters look. Being inspired by something popular doesn’t mean you have to give up on your aesthetic ❤️ If you want to see how I applied everything, check out my tiktok tutorial @cindychendesigns!
