In what seems like an instant, CBD skincare has taken over the beauty world. Major brands, like Milk Makeup and Herbivore, have embraced this trend with new products that capture the anti-inflammatory properties of this herb. If you're new to CBD, it can feel overwhelming trying to decide which products to try (or if you should try the trend at all), so we're here to give you the low-down on CBD in skincare, and which products we love.*All products featured below are sourced from the posts of Cherie's users. CBD is known as an anti-anxiety ingredient and its medicinal properties have been deemed safe by the World Health Organization. CBD has been long used to help patients with inflammation issues, like eczema, psoriasis, and acne, as well as helping improve sleep and reduce muscular pain. Since the legalization, CBD as a super ingredient in skincare has risen like nothing we've seen before! So, how do you know if CBD is the right ingredient for you? When it comes to skincare, if you need any anti-inflammatory remedies like those mentioned above, CBD could be a great ingredient to add to your skincare regimen. If you don't have any pressing skin concerns but want to experience more relaxing and calming moments, then CBD can help you achieve that. Bottom line? If you want to try it, go for it! When shampooing hair, the alkaline ingredients in the shampoo will swell the hair, expand the hair scales, and produce rich foam to break down the dirt attached to the hair crevices. After shampooing, the hair will become rough and stiff. The acidic components in the conditioner can neutralize the remaining alkaline components, balance the HP value, and the hair will become soft. But I have been thinking about a question, shampoo and conditioner must be used in a pair? I mean, must it be the same series of the same brand? I recently bought a new set of Bamford products. This is my first time using this brand of hair care products. This brand was born in the UK, and the whole series are made of organic ingredients. The Geranium series I bought also include body oil, hand cream, sleep spray and so on. The smell is a touch of woody fragrance, which I like. Whether it is shampoo or conditioner, it will not feel strange slippery when applied to the hair. Overall, the experience is pretty good. But I decided to separate the same brand’s shampoo and conditioner. I tried BAMFORD's shampoo and KERASTASE repair conditioner. Let me talk about the performance of this mix. 1. Because my scalp is prone to oi, so I care most about is oil control performance. The effect of using the original suit is the same as using the mix product, and the hair starts to have oil after two days. 2. The biggest drawback is that the scent of shampoo and conditioner are inconsistent, causing the hair to product a mixed smell. It's not very comfortable actually. In summary, the main ingredients of the conditioner are the same, and the effects are basically the same. The difference between the non-matching conditioner and the matching conditioner is basically the difference in taste, and will not affect the effect of the product. Therefore, different brands of shampoo and conditioner can also be used, but the matching products will have a better experience in use. bamford - bamford Botanic Shampoo bamford - bamford Botanic Conditioner

I have used Vaseline but lately CeraVe - Healing Ointment and I can’t get enough. I apply this as the last step in my skincare routine at night. I do it a few times a week. I recommend adding petroleum to your routine if you: 1. Have dry skin 2. Use actives or ingredients in your skincare that are drying (for me it’s retinol and vitamin c) 3. You need to heal your skin after a skin care treatment or after your feel you have over exfoliated your face Honestly, my skin feels so hydrated and glowy when I wake up. As we approach the colder months, I know I’ll be reaching for this more and more!

I received my amazing leaderboard prize from last week today!! It’s GORGEOUS and I cannot be more excited to try it!! 💚 HERBIVORE - Emerald CBD + Adaptogens Deep Moisture Glow Oil Emerald CBD Oil contains premium organic Colorado-grown full-spectrum CBD to soothe stressed-out skin in need of calm and relief from redness, irritation, and environmental stressors. Contains less than 0.3% THC. Target concerns: + Dryness + Redness + Stressed-out, irritated, troubled skin I LOVE CBD especially in skincare!! We have Specialized receptors in our skin that have been found to regulate the bodily processes that affect the immune system, inflammation, and pain. Research suggests that imbalances of this system may also be responsible for the occurrence of chronic skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema, making CBD and its functions of great interest in developing targeted therapies.* (Herbivore website) I’ve seen some amazing reviews on this oil and I’m really excited to try it for the redness I experience on my face! 💚💚 Thank you all so very much for your support and love. This app and you all mean the world to me. Before creating on this app I was suffering from some serious depression and this has been a wonderful antidepressant. I love Cherie!!!! 🍒 Thank you Cherie!!!
Anti-pollution skincare & why you need it!
Anti-pollution skincare & why you need it!
Did you know pollution can be silently and progressively deteriorating your complexion? Exposure to environmental stressors such as free radicals, UV/UVB exposure, different fumes and emissions could be wrecking your skin. Heck, even emissions from paint and carpeting inside your own home are potentially damaging your skin, causing inflammation, fine lines, dull skin and premature aging. More and more research shows that environmental factors could be stronger determinants of our overall health than our very own genes. And unless you’re moving to a secluded forest with cleaner air, maybe you should start considering anti-pollution skincare! Dr. Loretta took all these factors into account when creating her own line of skincare, so all of her products claim to protect skin from oxygen AND nitrogen free radical damage. Dullness and dehydration are possibly my major skin concerns, I’ve struggled with dehydrated skin for years, and if I’m not diligent with my skincare I know for sure my skin will be looking dull and crusty in just a few hours. 🧴 Dr Loretta - Intense Replenishing Serum Living in a super dry city I need to have a serum to keep me hydrated, but isn’t too heavy that will make my combo skin feel oily or break me out. This serum has a very interesting consistency, it’s light but feels like a serum/oil hybrid. Besides from protecting skin against free radicals it’s also made with vitamin F to maintain a healthy skin barrier and prevent water loss. 🧴 Dr. Loretta - Tightening Eye Gel I have a hard time finding eye cream that works well for me, most eye creams I’ve tried gave me milia which is so annoying. Having an eye gel has been amazing for me, being a gel I know for sure it won’t give me milia but I’m still treating my under eyes. I haven’t been using that long to speak on long-term effects but I’m liking it so far. It works great to depuff! At $60 for 20 ml it’s a pricey one, but you really only need like half a pump and that’s enough for both eyes. 🧴 Dr. Loretta - Urban Antioxidant Sunscreen SPF 40 This is such a nice SPF in my opinion. Not only does it offer UVA/UVB protection, it also protects against HEV light emitted from the sun and electronic devices and of course, pollution. It has a slight peachy tint so it looks good on its own, and gives off a nice satin finish, not too dewy or too matte. One thing I have to note on this product is I have to take a few extra minutes for application, it’s best to pat it in rather than aggressively rubbing it on, which I wouldn’t recommend either way 😜 normally I wouldn’t bother but I love how it looks on me, and it was $50 so I will make it work lol Have you tried any anti-pollution formulas? Would you give these a try? ☺️ #CheriePartner
