My go to for the last 3 months
Okay so I can’t really say 3mos as this is only my week 2 of this routine!!!! MORNING‼️ I wash with Neutrogena - Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser so far it’s been okay, I guess u get what u pay for but with that being said my skin is soooooooo sensitive that literally before finding Cherie would mostly just wash my face with a rag and 💦 ❤️I then go back in with GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water with Rose Water okay so I love this stuff, it don’t make my face feel nasty, I literally use a cotton pad and just wipe away what my first cleanser didn’t get!!!! ❤️I also take my Apostrophe - Spironolactone I’m supposed to take this daily but due to health issues I only take this every other day just to maintain my potassium levels, I’ve only been on this for 2wks and I have noticed a BIG CHANGE in my skin🙌🏽 ❤️I then top it off with Cetaphil - Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion it definitely drenches your face with moisture BUT it makes me oily🚱 NIGHTIME ROUTINE‼️ ❤️I follow all the same steps above but I add in my Apostrophe - Topical Formula So far I’m in love with this, I’m already seeing changes in my skin and some of my scarring, I would definitely recommend this product/company🗣🗣🗣If u can’t afford to see a dermatologist or your insurance doesn’t cover it, this process is pretty cool, u literally do everything over the computer💻 or your phone📲your dermatologist will make up a regimen and it’s sent to u via mail🙌🏽With COVID in our lives this was a game changer❤️ Of course after my topical I once again moisturize my skin with Cetaphil - Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion

My first retinol - Tretinoin routine
As part of the @cherie and Apostrophe Save My Skin, I got a consult and month of treatment from Apostrophe. My main skin concerns are beginning signs of aging and some dark spots/age spots (hyperpigmentation) that are beginning to appear. A couple of the dark areas on my face are quite pronounced. The Apostrophe process was super simple. Created my account online, answered some questions about my skin concerns, and uploaded some photos of my face and areas of concern, and chose my Dr. All of my information was reviewed by a Dermatologist who suggested a treatment plan to meet my goals. Less than 2 weeks later I had a box at my doorstep! The box from Apostrophe - Topical Formula included my prescription, a sheet detailing my treatment plan, a postcard, and some stickers. Cute. I was prescribed Tretinoin 0.025% + Niacinamide 4%. I’ve been using Niacinamide for about 2 months now, but this is my first prescription retinol experience. I was directed to apply every other night for 2 weeks, if no irritation, move to every night. In order to lessen the chance of irritation I was also directed to use a light moisturizer before and after, use sunscreen daily, avoid eye and mouth area, discontinue use of any acids, and use a moisturizing cleanser as well as a Vitamin C serum each morning. My retinol / Trentinoin daily routine Evening: If I have makeup on I cleanse using BANILA CO - Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Nourishing or ELEMIS - Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm which I also use as a mask of my skin is super irritated. Apply pea size amount of Tretonin + Niacinamide cream over face and half that amount to neck Moisturize with THE inkey LIST - Peptide Moisturizer Apply BITE - Agave+ Nightime Duo to lips, generic castor oil to brows with a spoolie, and PETER THOMAS ROTH - Lashes to Die for Turbo Nighttime Eyelash Treatment lash serum to my lashes Morning: Cleanse using BANILA CO - Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Nourishing or ELEMIS - Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm Apply SUNDAY RILEY - C.E.O. Rapid Flash Brightening Serum all over face and neck Use The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG under eyes Then rose hip oil on areas that feel especially dry or are peel Since it’s only been a couple weeks I will probably end up refining this routine, I’ve noticed dryness mostly around my mouth and nostrils. Highly recommend the Apostrophe process so far! 💙

Thank you Cherie + Apostrophe! 😭💖
I was so lucky to be one of the winners from the Apostrophe Giveaway! I have actually had my eye on this brand for months, and wanted to go for it but wasn’t sure if the cost was worth it! Here is a little about how Apostrophe works! First, you go to their website, and it asks you a lot about yourself and your skin. You answer questions, and they then show you all of the treatments and what they do— I thought this was AMAZING because I was able to read up on each and every pill and topical. You then get to choose who you want your dermatologist to be! The consultation with the dermatologist (which is literally messaging them) is $20, but this will go towards the end total if you choose to buy prescriptions. So that’s a big plus. The consultation was SO FAST! I messaged my derm after I got off of work, around 5pm. I didn’t expect him to get back until the next day, but I had a prescription lined up MINUTES later, with a message from him telling me to contact him for questions and that we will meet again in 3 months! Here is what I was prescribed: Apostrophe - Spironolactonea pill that is most prescribed for hormonal acne in women. It is actually used as a blood thinner, but it blocks testosterone that causes the hormonal acne! You cannot take it if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. I have read amazing things on spiro and can’t wait to see it work. As most acne medications, it will take some time to work, so I expect by the end of my 90 days, it will be fully active! Apostrophe - Doxycyclinean antibiotic that allows things to move a little faster. This is optional and most people do without, but I chose it to speed up the process a bit in the beginning. You cannot take this long term, so I expect to use it this round, and a second round before I get off of it. Apostrophe - Topical Formulalast but not least, I have a topical that he prescribed which is %.025 tretinoin and %4 niacinimide! It is a very intense topical that can be very affective, but very drying to the skin at the beginning. They suggest to start out very slow, so I put moisturizer first, and then I apply a pea-sized amount. So far I definitely see around my mouth starting to peel, but that is very normal and will even out in weeks or months. Overall, I would’ve paid $180 for all 3 prescriptions + derm visit! This is incredible, and it was so quick. It saved me from having to figure out a local dermatologist and having to visit multiple times (and no copay!) I HIGHLY recommend this company, and will be posting updates on my skin! Thanks for reading! 💖
