Easy Fun Abstract Nails ✨💅🏼
Hi friends! Abstract nails have always been on my “I want to try that!” list. Well, I jumped in without another thought and it’s way easier than I thought it would be! Plus, this way if my nails chip it’s harder to tell. Here’s how I get my fun abstract nails: 1. BASE COAT. Always use a base coat. It extends the life of your manicure and protects your polish from the natural oils of your nail. I’m using HOLO TACO - Long-Lasting Base one of my favorites! 2-4. BEGIN PAINTING IN SPLOTCHES. Start from the lightest color, since covering lighter colors with darker colors is always easier than covering dark colors with lighter colors. I used: cirque colors - cirque colors Cream Polishes Cirque Colors Carnegie, Rose Hook. Then #Lights Lacquer - Emerald[products]#[FourStars] emerald. Added a few dots of HOLO TACO - One-Coat Black black creme. Wait 5-10 mins between coats, since you are probably offsetting the placement anyway. 5. OPTIONAL—A FUN TOPPER? For fun, I added a flaked holographic topper. It elevates the look for me, and I really love this polish... HOLO TACO - Flakie Holographic Nail Polish 6. TOP COAT & FINISHING TOUCHES. If you need to add a second layer of anything, do it now! Other wise wait about 15-30 minutes for everything to fully dry before adding your top coat to seal it all in. Make sure you wrap your top coat over the tip of your nail to prevent chipping! HOLO TACO - Super Glossy Taco VOILA! You’re ready to live your messy life—and I’m here for it. Have you done abstract nails?! Any tips for me?

Basic DIY Wedding Nails! ✨
I just got married this past week so I thought I would show you guys how I did my nails myself at home. This was surprisingly simple and easy! I chose to go with a basic neutral rose color and my natural nails, which were shaped oval. I don’t have any “nail tech” equipment at home and TBH I am not leaving my house to get a manicure right now LOL, so this was my only option. My nails are natural and pretty brittle, so I have to choose the products I use carefully to protect the health of my nails. I started off with my favorite base coat: the long lasting base from Holo Taco HOLO TACO - Long-Lasting Base this brand has just been so GOOD for my nails. I knew this one would keep my polish on all day so I didn’t have to worry about chipping or lifting. It takes about 10-15 minutes to dry but I don’t mind at all! It’s worth every penny to me at $11. Then I painted 2 coats of Cirque Colors “Rose Kaolin” creme polish cirque colors - cirque colors Cream Polishes . I love Cirque since they are made in the USA and made small-batch, 10-free! The coats dry relatively quickly, about 15-20 mins between coats. At $12 I recommend their polishes! Then I had a crazy thought—I NEED stones on my accent nails. But where do I find them? In my room of course. I found an old piece of cheap jewelry with clear white stones in it so I took a safety pin to it and removed a few stones to glue onto my nails. I used super glue and tweezers to place them and made sure to wait until the coat of creme polish was 10000% dry beforehand. I think they turned out pretty great for DIY! For my top coat I went with my HOLY GRAIL HOLO TACO - Super Glossy Taco which is only 3-free, but it dries in 5-10 minutes and does not budge. At ALL! No scratches, indents, nothing. I knew I could count on this on top of the stones to seal everything in. SGT is $11 and worth every penny if you have brittle nails like me! What do you think of my DIY wedding nails?! 😂 #CheriePartner
