My FAV Foundation for my Skin #CheriePartner
Hey Y’all! So I don’t wear foundation often but when I do I only go for two different ones. Which is The Fenty Foundation (dewy formula) or NYX - Total Control Drop Foundation which is what I’ll be talking about today! 🤎 When looking for a foundation I usually always go for a dewy look. I’m not a huge fan of matte anything. The thing I like about the Total Control drop foundation is that it’s soft matte but can be easily manipulated to give a more dewy look. 🤎 I love the Total Control drop foundation simply because a little goes a long way! I have sensitive combination skin and foundation tends to irritate it. But with this foundation I have found solace! It goes on super smooth and I only need a few drops. I usually go for light coverage as you can see from the pictures. The dropper definitely helps in controlling how much foundation you need. 🤎 Another great thing is that NYX is super affordable and the same applies to this foundation! It’s only about $14 and because you only need a little it lasts for quite a while. I’ve had this bottle for about 6 months and it’s still has a lot! 🤎 When applying the foundation I simply put 1-2 drops on the back of my hand and take NYX - Holographic Halo Liquid Highlighting Brush and dip it in the foundation and just buff it over my skin. I like this brush but I don’t love it. I know it’s a highlighter brush but I just haven’t found a foundation brush that cuts it for me. I would love some suggestions if you guys have some! 🤎 After buffing out the foundation with the brush I take a beauty blender and dip it in the foundation as well to cover any spots I miss. Then I spray the beauty blender with NYX - Dewy Finish Makeup Setting Spray and just blend out a little more this helps add a little bit of a dewy sheen to the foundation. I absolutely love the Dewy Finish setting spray it gives me everything I’m looking for! ✨ In conclusion this foundation is really good and it helps blur out imperfections and has a very buildable formula so it works anywhere from light to full coverage! You can leave it as a soft matte as is or add a nice setting spray to give you any look you desire! ✨I’d love to hear your tips and tricks on foundation and good foundation brush recommendations! ✨ BESOS 😘

Beauty blender dupes ✨
The first makeup sponge I used was the beauty blender pro sponge. I loved it so much. I used it every single day to blend my foundations, blushes, and powders. After using it so much it started looking old and I realized I definitely didn’t want to spend $20 for a sponge. I started trying out so many affordable ones and lots of them didn’t work until... Real techniques miracle complexion sponge, when it’s dry it feels slightly stiff but still nice and soft to the touch. When you wet it it becomes super soft. It blends my foundation very well, similar to the beauty blender at a 1/3 of the price! One of my favorite sponges so far! $5.99 and I’ve found these at marshalls and tj maxx for about $3-4! REAL TECHNIQUES - Miracle Complexion Sponge Hank & Henry midori sponge set, I got this sponge set in my boxycharm and I really like it. The set had the large and small sponge. Slighter stiffer than the real techniques but a nice sponge. The small one is perfect for blending on the inner corners or any hard to reach area. The large sponge gets HUGE when it’s wet, great for apply blush in my opinion and anything you want. Even if it’s kinda stiff this is still very soft. Unfortunately online they’re sold separately $14.00 for the large sponge and $9.00 for the small one. HANK & HENRY - Midori Bundle Miss A AOA studio super soft wonder blender, one of the best really affordable sponges I’ve tried. It’s really soft and blends like a dream. Very very slight stiffness when dry but super soft when wet. Haven’t had any problems with this one. $1.55! I didn’t have mines with me so I attached a picture of it. AOA studio - AOA Wonder Blender Last and definitely not least the original beauty blender in pro, super soft to the touch and incredible at blending. The hype is real. $20 beautyblender - Pro If you want to spend $20 every few months then this sponge is worth it, super great! If you’re like me that prefers a more affordable one than these options are great as well. These all feel great on the skin, blend your makeup and at the end of my makeup routine I’ve found that these all look very similar and almost identical to each other. ☺️✨

MONEY GREEN EYES 🍃🐉🤑 #CheriePartner
Hey Y’all! So today I really wanted to play with make up and took my time with this look! I’ve never really been a fan of green so I wanted to see if I could take a color I didn’t really care for and do something cute. It took me about 45 minutes but that’s just simply because I’m a beginner (I’m sure once I get better it’ll be 20 minutes tops lol). The products used here are PLAYING IN MAKEUP BY Yolondo - The Jamrock Matte Eyeshadow Palette And COVERGIRL - TruBlend Undercover Concealer Also used brushes from my AOA studio - All About Eyes Brush Set So to start off I took my TruBlend Concealer and used it as a Base/primer. I then took the color Set-Gud from Jamrock Palette and packed it on my eyelid and blended it to the outer corner of my eyes. I then took TruBlend Concealer and a thin concealer brush to cut the crease. Then I blend the outer corner out so there are no harsh lines After that I packed on a little bit of the color Jamdown in the middle and again blended it towards the outer corner to create an ombré effect. Lastly I took the White color Dance on the inner corner of the lid and blended it all out to continue the pretty ombré effect. And WAHLAH Money Green Eyes 🐉 Review: 🍃 PLAYING IN MAKEUP BY Yolondo - The Jamrock Matte Eyeshadow Palette I really love this palette! My roommate had it and let me use it. The colors are really pigmented and I love all the bright colors. There’s not a lot of loose pigment everywhere and it shows up amazing on brown skin! It’s about $35 on her website and it’s a Black Owned company! So extra cheers for that! 🍃COVERGIRL - TruBlend Undercover Concealer I truly love this concealer. It’s a nice consistency and goes on smoothly. I also use this concealer sometimes when I’m doing my foundation. It really covers up everything! And it’s cheap coming in at about $8. Definitely a drug store fav! I hope you guys like this look! What’s a color you’re afraid of when it comes to eyeshadow? I’m sure you can make it work for you! Try it! BESOS 😘

TOOLS I CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT ❤️ #CheriePartner
I’m super new to this whole make up thing but with diving into the makeup world I’ve come across things that O have found I can’t live without! Especially pertaining to eyeshadow. So here are my Top 3 must haves for tools! First we have the Brush Cleaner from Crayon Case! THE CRAYON CASE - The Crayon Case Brush Cleaner I love this brush cleaner because it’s super cool! It basically take your brush and rub it around on the sponge to get pigment off. I love it because I can use one brush and do more than one color and not be afraid of pigments blending. It’s super handy and I use it all the time! Secondly we have My eye shadow brush kit from this place called Miss A aka AOA studios AOA studio - All About Eyes Brush Set I love this store because it’s cheap but good quality. This is a 10 piece brush set and I love the array of brushes they give you. From fluffy and dense to precise and small. It gives you all the brushes you could need. This kit is my go to for most of my eye looks. Thirdly we have NYX Pigment Primer NYX - Pigment Primer I use this to prime my eyelids before I apply eyeshadow. This stuff really holds the eyeshadow in place and it’s clear which I love! I don’t use anything else to prime my eyes! These are my holy grails for eyeshadow looks! I hope you guys try them out! Let me know what your fav tools are or any tips and tricks! Thanks for being amazing ! BESOS 😘

2020 HALLOWEEN VIBES🎃
I know Halloween this year is going to be a little different but I still wanted to get into the spirit somehow! 🎃 Years ago, Chrisspy on YT created this dope gangster clown look and I know I wanted to give it a shot this yet so here is my take on it! I have to say, this isn’t terribly hard but it’s time consuming to ensure everything is blended and the lines are looking straight! 👍🏽 STEPS make sure you have a very mattified base so the pencil liner and liquid DONT drag so I used COVER FX - Power Play Foundation and then set my entire face with the NIKKIA JOY COSMETICS - Velvet Finishing Powder which really holds and sets the skin in place I then applied blush because DUH it’s a clown look 🤡 so I used the AOA studio - Perfect Powder Blush to add a flush of orange to my cheeks with a really light concealor, I drew three semi circles; two above my brows and the other on my chin using the laura mercier - Flawless Fusion Ultra-Longwear Concealer and just used that to carve them out and set with my powder as well for the entire look so the liner, I used the NYX - Epic Ink Liner and to blend out the liner in the middle of my face, I used the black shadow from the MORPHE - Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette I also used the brown tones in this to add some brown shadow to my crease for my lips, I used the SEPHORA COLLECTION - Rouge Lip Tint and then added the black shadow around the edges and blended it in and used the liquid liner to add the smile lines And then throw on your costume! This one is super easy because all you need is a white tank top and a plaid shirt (a red/navy or red/black are the best choices), throw on some jewellery if you want like hoops. Button on the top button of the shirt, and that’s it! For my hair, I went for a slick back look which I loved for this badass look but you can curl your hair, even throw on a bandana, just play around🤗 #cheriepartner

MOST BOMB $1 BLUSH OUT THERE🙈💸
yea, you read that correctly, $1 blush!😱 How can it even be but this special blush from AOA studio - Perfect Powder Blush has been my go to lately! On a whim, during quarantine I wanted to try out more goodies from Shopmissa. If you’ve never heard of this amazing site, legit everything is a $1 on the site and I have to say, majority of the great things are from their aoa studio line (just a heads up👍🏽) So I decided to pick up the matte power plush in the shade Auburn! For someone with a deeper rich caramel complexion, orange and red tones are some of my favourites and I always go for them over a pink/mauve! ❤️🤗 and ive been using the same old matte blush in my collection for so long, I knew I wanted to try something different and at $1 a piece, I knew I couldn’t go wrong ☺️ So I bought it, and wow the pigment is just right, it glides beautifully on the skin (just ensure you set your skin correctly so that you don’t get any patchiness OFC from the foundation) 🙃 and it’s just different enough to reach for on an everyday basis that I feel different everytime I switch between this blush and my other oldddddd blush 😉 I would highly recommend checking out the aoa blushes and their other cheeks products because they are actually BOMB #cheriepartner

2021 Fashion Week Inspired Makeup - Chloé
This is the second spring/summer 2021 fashion week inspired look I did. Make sure to check out my other Cherie post for my Hermès look. This look inspired by Chloé focuses on smoldering, smudged out black-rimmed eyes, dewy skin, and juicy nude lips. The eye look was particularly interesting to me because of the blank spaces in the center of the model’s lower and upper lids. The base of this look is the same as my Hermès look. I’ve included the inspo photo that I found on Allure. Complexion: Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid - this oil-serum hybrid is perfect for adding a glowy base on bare skin, under makeup, or over makeup on the high points of your face for a natural, yet wet-looking highlight. I used 1 pump all over my face under my skin tint, and a tiny bit dabbed on the tops of my cheek bones after my skin tint. $24 ILIA - Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 “balos” - light coverage to even out my skin tone and also amp up the dew. $46 e.l.f. - Hydrating Camo Concealer “light peach” - I used 2 tiny dots under my eyes to add some coverage. $6 AOA studio - Sculpt FX Contour “fawn” - the model does not appear to be wearing any cheek products; however, has beautiful, defined cheekbones. I don’t have defined cheekbones, so I used this to give a slight contoured effect. $1 Now the fun part! I used URBAN DECAY - 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencil “perversion” to lightly outline the inner and outer portions of my top and bottom lash lines. I smudged this out with a pencil brush. Then I used the shade “black” from my LORAC - PRO Matte Eye Shadow Palette to intensify the smokiness. I made sure to keep the space directly in the middle of my eyes blank on both upper and lower lash lines. I then drew a thick wing on the outer corner of each eye, topped with black shadow, and smudged inwards. I couldn’t tell if the model was wearing mascara, but I added 1 quick coat of URBAN DECAY - Lash Freak Volumizing & Lengthening Mascara to add an extra pop to my eyes. For lips, I lightly blotted COLOURPOP - Ultra Matte Lip “little one” (limited edition, no longer available) to add a hint of nude to my lips. Then I topped with the ICONIC - Lip Plumping Gloss in “nearly nude” . This gloss is super glossy and wet looking - perfect for ultra juicy-looking lips! This look was so fun to create. Unlike the Hermès look, this isn’t something I would personally wear day-to-day, but for Halloween or the runway it’s perfect! It’s so hard not to smile in photos 🤪 #CheriePartner

2021 Fashion Week Inspired Makeup - Hermès
This look is inspired by models for Hermes for 2021 spring/summer fashion week. This look focuses on super dewy skin and a bold, red lip as the center of attention. This look was really easy to recreate and something I would actually rock IRL (except for the lack of mascara because mascara is bae). I’ve included the inspo photo from Allure. To add a glowy base to my complexion, I used Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid . I only ever use 1 pump of this oil-serum hybrid because I think any more makes me look like a grease ball. I applied this all over my face and dabbed a tiny amount onto my eyelids. This product is perfect for applying on bare skin, under makeup, and can even be used over makeup for a natural, wet-looking highlight. After I applied my complexion products, I dabbed a tiny amount onto the high points of my cheekbones. Sticking with the dewy theme, I used the ILIA - Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 in “balos”. I’m not sure if the models were wearing complexion products because their skin looked super natural, yet also “flawless”. Since I have some redness on my cheeks, I used this skin tint to even out my skin tone and amp up the dew. I lightly concealed underneath my eyes with the e.l.f. - Hydrating Camo Concealer in “light peach”. The models don’t appear to be wearing any cheek products, though I did add a tiny bit of AOA studio - Sculpt FX Contour in “fawn” to help sculpt my cheeks a tiny bit like the models. I finished the look off with the SEPHORA COLLECTION - Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick in “always red”. I’ve had a mini of this for quite a while. It’s beautiful, comfortable despite being matte, does leave a tint behind, and is long-wearing. This is the kind of lipstick that would last from the runway well into the after party (in non-COVID times, of course). The models don’t appear to be wearing any mascara, so I skipped that. I filled in my brows a bit more than usual for a fuller appearance. I used the essence - Superlast Eyebrow Pomade Pencil in “dark brown”. Such a fun look! You guys it’s sooo hard not to smile. How do models do it?! 🤪 Look for another fashion week look soon. All brands are cruelty-free except for Sephora Collection. Prices: futuredew $24, skin tint $46, concealer $6, contour stick $1, lip stain (full size) $15, brow pencil $3.50 #Cherie Partner

Tips & Tricks: how to choose false eyelashes
False eyelashes, everyone loves them but not everyone is up to having something in their eye all day or all night long. So, what is the solution? Is there a way to wear these beautifiers or mascara will have to do the trick? Well, the solution is pretty simple, lightweight false lashes. They have a strip of plastic, called a band, to which are attached the hairs that are responsible for forming the lash. This strip comes in a curved shape that allows the perfect adaptation to the shape of the eye. It can be more or less thin and be transparent or not. The thinner the band, the better, because the more flexible it will be, the easier it will be to place the eyelash, and the less likely it will be that it will take off with the passage of hours. In addition, the thinner the strip the more comfortable the lash will be once placed, since it allows gesticular much better and without noticing so much that you are wearing them. The more natural models mimic natural eyelashes but providing more density or more length. You can choose the model that best suits your tastes and your eye because there is an impressive variety. We can find false eyelashes of natural hair (animal or human) or synthetic, although what will really make the difference between a natural finish and a more artificial one is the shape of it. Thus, lashes with a more natural appearance are composed of hairs that are thicker at the base and thin at the tip (such as true eyelashes), while the rest has hairs of the same thickness. I have a pretty round eye, pretty standard actually. In my day today, I don't usually wear falsies. But we all know that somedays we really want to look our best, but not look like we are going to a gala. This is the moment where this type of eyelashes come in Handy, I really love the ones from the store Shop Miss A. they are super inexpensive and they have a bunch of styles. I use the ones in the “Luella” style. What I do is I cut them to the length of my eye and I focus them in the outer corner.  I have pretty sensitive eyes. So when I'm using false eyelashes it's very important to me that I'm not feeling like I have something poking my eye all the time. These ones are super comfortable, and like we were saying, super lightweight. Suing these ones I created this super cute look, in which you can see that the eyelashes are glorious but not too dramatic.

Cheapest sponge I’ve ever found!
Cheapest sponge I’ve ever found!
AOA studio - AOA Wonder Blender This sponge is only $1!!! When wet, it expands about 50% and gets super soft and fluffy. It does absorb a lot of product so I tend to use this for concealer when I’m needing to remove the excess. When compared to the beauty blender, it expands to be much larger, gets much softer, and absorbs more product. The Wonder Blender also has a shorter longevity. This sponge is really starting to show some wear after about a month, where I can use a beauty blender for about 6 months. The wonder blender is still cheaper in the end but be aware you may have to replace it sooner than you think! I would recommend this if you feel like you’re spending too much money replacing your sponges multiple times a year. $3-$4 per year and you’ll be covered depending on how often you like to replace!

I love these pressed powders. Better yet they’re only $1! At first I was a bit skeptical since the prices are really cheap, I thought they would irritate my skin or worse but these are so great. I’ve been using these for a while now and they’re my go to powders and I always make sure to buy a few each time. Sometimes I do get some fallout but nothing too crazy. I’d say these powders are underrated and you should definitely give these a try.
