Update!
I feel my skin has its moments where it’s getting better and when it reacts to whatever. This past week has been a little stressful so it explains the active breakouts. I do feel my period is coming within the next week, so that’s another explanation for my flare up.
I have even experiencing dryness more so this week, but weather has been a lot colder!
Been on spironolactone for a little over a month now and I do see less active breakouts. I do see less redness in my skin overall and some dark sport fading.
My routine has not changed.
I switch between 3 cleansers
CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin
CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser I have been using this one more because my skin has been drier than normal. I really enjoy it!
PanOxyl - Acne Foaming Wash Benzoyl Peroxide 10% Maximum Strength
Moisturizer:
Krave - Great Barrier Relief I love this! Use it before my moisturizer!
FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream
NATURIUM - Quadruple Hyaluronic Acid Serum 5% I’ve been trying to use this again because my skin has been so dry as an extra layer or hydration.
CeraVe - AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30
0.0025% tretinoin I use it twice a week right now vs three times a week
100 mg of Spironolactone; I take it morning and night.

Worth the hype! Saved my skin!
Hey beauties! I know it’s been a while; I’ve been dealing with a bad breakout on my forehead and had to get new products that would help me. Recently, I’ve been using Fenty skin and only them, but when I started lacking on my consistency of the routine, my breakout appeared! It was crazy and I wish I took pictures to show how good this item “PanOxyl - Acne Creamy Wash Benzoyl Peroxide 4% Daily Control ” is. Let’s get into it 🥰
Panoxyl has been the hype and my new fave word - the rave of social media. It has been circulating mainly on Tik Tok, which I am addicted to lol. I noticed people with extreme, to less severe acne have been using this and it clears their skin up, ok period! After my recent breakout over the week, I decided I HAVE to try it, I couldn’t walk outside with bumps on my forehead anymore.
I’m going to discuss the background of it, before going forward with my review on it and how it’s worked.
💗 What is it?
Panoxyl is a acne creamy wash that has the main ingredient of Benzoyl Peroxide. I bought one with 4% since my skin is not only sensitive, but has eczema 😭. But I’m a little risky, so I decided to try it but still make sure I got the lowest percent they had at my local Walmart. Benzoyl Peroxide is works to treat, and prevent acne by killing bacteria under the skin: as well as helping the pores shed dead skin, and excess sebum (oil). It has other main ingredients, but this one is KEY, you hear me?
💗 Who can use it?
Anyone can sis! Just make sure you’re not pregnant or breastfeeding, if you are refer to a doctor beforehand. If burning occurs, stop immediately and ask your doctor. It says on the product to not use if you have extreme sensitive skin, but for me it doesn’t bother me whatsoever. Keep in mind, everyone’s skin is different. Just because it doesn’t irritate me, doesn’t mean it won’t irritate you.
💗 Where can I use it?
Your face, chest, back. Basically, anywhere on your body.
Now, let’s talk about my personal thoughts and opinions. When I first started it, it was 2 days ago and I used it only once, at night because that’s when I bought it. It says to use it once until you feel comfortable using it day and night. At this point, my acne was bad bad! I’m talking, I didn’t want to go out the house. When I have a breakout, I avoid wearing make up to further irritate my acne so I had no option of covering it! You’re probably wondering how my skin is now, SIS. My forehead pimples haven’t completely disappeared but they are 10x better than what it was. I’m in awe at how fast acting this product is. It definitely lived up to the hype, and is saving me! I also make sure to put moisturizer on straight after because this product can leave you very dry!
The second product in the picture is just for the ✨aesthetic✨ lol. MAKE SURE YOU’RE KEEPING YOUR LIPS HYDRATED IN THIS COLD WEATHER!
Let me know if you’ve seen this product circulating, or if you have any thoughts on it. Talk to ya soon baby’s 💕

Week 3 On PanOxyl & Differin
I skipped one week because my face was looking about the same. I have been breaking out a bit on my cheeks and forehead so I hope this purging process ends soon. The PanOxyl also seems to be running out rather quickly so I might substitute it for the PanOxyl - Acne Creamy Wash Benzoyl Peroxide 4% Daily Controljust so I don’t have too many foaming cleansers in my routine. I hope to see results soon.DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel

PanOxyl 10% maximum strength review!
Dr. Dray, a dermatologist on youtube, recommended PanOxyl as a fairly priced, great face wash. I trusted her recommendation because when she sees a product that is ridiculously expensive or contains unnecessary ingredients, she calls them out. I’m glad I went with her advice because this cleanser works very well for me!
This is my review after months of use:
This product works wonders on pores and blackheads! After the first wash I could see how much smaller my pores were. I can’t say how well it would work for severe acne, but I can give a decent overview of how it deals with a couple pimples here and there. This wash doesn’t prevent my monthly breakouts, and it doesn’t make my pimples disappear the next day, but it has made my pores smaller and made my face brighter. Make sure to use a good moisturizer though because it can dry out your skin. I use CeraVe moisturizing cream, which Dr. Dray also recommmends.
I have always used this cleanser while using other products in my skincare routine, so I’m not sure how it would work by itself. I also use a toner, vitamin c cream, and retinol from the ordinary. If you use multiple products as well please research how they react with each other as some products can cancel each other out if used together!!

Acne? We’ve all been there.
Hello all! This is my skin care journey.
I have always had acne. For as long as I can remember, probably since I was roughly in 5th grade (I am 22 y/o now) and I have always struggled. It always seemed no matter how many products I tried, methods I used, nothing would help. I finally found one product that helped more than others; La Roche Posay Effaclar wash. This product helped me get even SEMI better skin. However, it just didn’t cut it.
I finally broke and scheduled an appointment with a dermatologist in the company I work for. We tried antibiotics, creams, gels, prescription face washes, and literally anything you can think of, I have tried at least once. My derm finally got to the point where he decided Accutane would be the best route for me. I completed 5 months of Accutane, and the change in my skin and my confidence in my skin changed MY LIFE. If you struggle with acne like myself, you know the weight acne puts on you, and how it makes you feel absolutely worthless. Acne is a struggle, and it can definitely cause anxiety, and even depression. Finding a product that changes your life is mind blowing.
I have been off of Accutane around 7 months now. The oiliness in my skin is starting to pick back up, I can tell my pores aren’t nearly as tiny as they were on Accutane. I’ve even started developing itty bitty zits, and black heads on my chin, nose, and T zone. I reached out to my dermatologist and he recommended a benzoyl peroxide face wash, and differin (adapalene) gel nightly. I’ve been doing this for about a month, and I can already see a difference in my skin AGAIN. Pores are smaller, oiliness is decreased immensely, and LESS ACNE. However, I have an insanely bad habit of picking at my face, and I tend to pick at tiny little things that I can hardly see, and others can’t see at all. Then I cause irritation to my skin, and make something that wasn’t even a problem, a big problem. I’m still working on not picking, but it gets the best of me, as I’m sure it does most of you.
I’m always available and willing to help, and answer any questions anyone may have about skin care, and the best products I’ve found along the way that are staples in my routines.
Follow me along with my journey.

LIFE SAVER
Those who struggle with acne, know how ANNOYING it is when a new pimple pops up. I have swore by this product since before Accutane use.
That being said, as mentioned in my previous posts I’ve hit, for the first time since stopping accutane, a “breakout.” This product has been a life saver.
I apply it every morning to my problem areas, after cleansing my face with micellar water, a tad bit of astringent, and using my Cerave moisturizing cream. I also use it nightly, in those same areas before bed; after washing my face with Panoxyl creamy 4% wash, and using my Cerave cream. I then apply a pimple patch (after using effaclar duo) to any acne bumps that I have.
I’d say 80% of the time, the pimple is GONE. If it’s not gone, it’s DEFINITELY decreased in size, and redness. I promise you, this stuff works.
