No no no no!!!! No from me. 😭😵
I bought the cleansing bar and the tonic. The total was $30. It was completely wasted!!! 😞 I think it has destroyed my skin barrier after just 1 use! My skin is BURNING whenever I apply anything to it!!! It is breaking out in a rash and it hurts so bad!!! Help, I’m scared!!!! How and when will it get back to normal?!!! Any suggestions!!?!? I am so sad. ☹️ Carbon Theory. - Daily Clean Skin Carbon Theory. - Facial Purifying Tonic I am pretty sure it was the facial bar that did this and not the tonic, but when I used the tonic afterwards my skin BURNED, that cannot be good for your skin!!!!! Also, my husband used the tonic once and said it burned his skin. He doesn’t even have sensitive skin!!!! Scary! Update: I got some stuff that can help you if this happens!!!! I am warning those with sensitive skin, DO NOT use that cleansing bar!!!!! I am in so much pain and my skin is peeling and burning. It’s so painful. I just got some Cerave Hydrating Facial Cleanser and Walgreens brand Daytime Facial Moisturizer that is soothing my skin and restoring my skin barrier. I can’t believe one use burned my skin off the way it did! Beware!!!! 🥺 I am so embarrassed by my skin and don’t want to post a picture 😳. I can’t go outside like this.CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser Walgreens - Daytime Facial Moisturizer Update: I emailed Carbon Theory about my experience and sent a picture to them. I also explained that they need to add a warning on their products about how they are not safe for sensitive skin. They emailed me back... I added it to this post. Interesting they didn’t mention anything about adding a warning 🤨.

Help!
Hello all! I am at my last hope here! I have done everything to try and clear my chin acne and it just seems to be getting worse by day! My current routine has seemed to heal my cystic acne on my jaw line but nothing has helped my chin acne! I have used curology before as well! Current products are CeraVe - Renewing SA Cleanser For Normal Skin Carbon Theory. - Facial Purifying Tonic artnaturals - 2.5% Retinol Age Defying Serum at night CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution once a week I was also using The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% but I didn’t feel it was making a difference.

Hormonal Acne Treatment Carbon Theory
Products I use: AM: 🥞 Step 1: Wash face with Carbon Theory. - Charcoal & Tea Tree Oil Break-Out Control Facial Cleansing Bar - Great for hard pimples/ acne that hurt (can’t go ‘pop’ with a cotton bud). - If you are sensitive to tea tree I do not recommend. Step 2: Tone with Carbon Theory. - Facial Purifying Tonic - This can sting open wounds or burns so be careful. - Has brightened my complexion. (Wait 30 mins then apply ⬇️) Step 3: The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% - Have not used yet, still making sure I do not have an allergy to the product before I put it on my face! (Wait 30 mins then apply ⬇️) Step 4: Moisturise with Cetaphil - Oil Control Moisturizer SPF 30 Unscented - I have been using this for years it absorbs well into the skin, and does not flake or go lumpy when your makeup is applied over the top. I love that it has SPF in it, it also doesn’t have a terrible odour. PM: 💤 Step 1: Either damp face with water & apply sukin - Pink Clay Facial Masque Sensitive 100ml - This is OK I haven’t seen any drastic improvement in my skin but will keep using this as I like pink clay, and I will mention if I see any improvements while using this. OR sukin - Pore Refining Facial Scrub Oil Balancing - I have been using this for a while I like how this feels on the skin, it is not a very harsh scrub. It does help to minimise the pores but not drastically. OR AZTEC SECRET - Indian Healing Clay (leave face dry and apply mask with Apple Cider Vinegar) - THIS STUFF IS AMAZING this was recommended to me by a makeup artist, and I love it! It does sting and burn on open wounds/cuts, but it is great for pigmentation (which I have lots of issues with) and helps to even out your complexion, it also “pulsates” and “tingles” and I know it’s doing something good! It does feel a bit uncomfortable with the vinegar at times (makes the eyes run) but it dries out and kills any pimples I have. I recommend using an oil straight after to avoid dehydration as this is a harsh but effective treatment. If left on for too long it can make red marks where the product has been on the face which will eventually go away...😅 OR use Carbon Theory. - Charcoal & Tea Tree Oil Breakout Control Facial Exfoliating Scrub on already damp face. - I do love using this it feels really refreshing, I believe it to be a harsher scrub so I do not use this regularly 1-2 as it can cause break outs if used everyday. Step 2: Wash face with Carbon Theory. - Charcoal & Tea Tree Oil Break-Out Control Facial Cleansing Bar Step 3: Tone with Carbon Theory. - Facial Purifying Tonic (Wait 30 mins then apply ⬇️) Step 5: the Jojoba company - 100% Natural Australian Jojoba Oil - For white heads I ‘pop’ with cotton bud and apply tea tree

The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% For Hormonal Skin
I highly recommend this product : - I have been using it in the morning in between my Carbon Theory. - Daily Clean Skin and my Cerave SPF cream and I have seen a noticeable difference in my hormonal acne. I also use J S Health skin and digestion multi vitamins as well... - I recommend trying the The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% in small doses, (wait for your skin to return to its normal Ph balance - DO NOT put it on your skin before 30-40 mins after using your other products) and if it burns take it off earlier. It did burn 🔥 me when I first used it but my skin did get used to it, remember it is a strong product! And lessen the time frame you leave it on for... Never rub it in as it will turn into vitamin c and go white. Pop it on the specific areas you have issues with! I tend to put it on my cheeks and towards my jaw area (as I get hormonal acne thanks to implanon)... I use this product once a week, as above. And as you can see my skin has improved. 😄 I hope this helps you out! Xx

New For May
New For May
I’ll admit it, this product makes me nervous!! I’ve been skipping a toner for a while in my skincare routine simply because I haven’t been able to find one I’m stoked about. The last one I used regularly was the SKIN&CO - Truffle Therapy Face Toner which I wasn’t crazy about (clearly.) It was good for a little bit, but then it was making me skin overproduce oil which I was not a fan of. Fingers crossed that this Carbon Theory. - Facial Purifying Tonicmeets - and exceeds - my high expectations!
