My Fav Serums 🤩
These are the serums I use every day! I honestly don’t use too many different skin products when it comes to serums because these work really well for me already! The first one is The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% serum which I use during the night time. It definitely helps with oil control since I feel like when I stopped using it, my oil production in the T zone was crazy throughout the day. I will say though, I feel like it gives me these tiny little pimples all over my face. I’m not really sure how to fix it though so if anyone has any advice or tips, feel free to comment! The second serum is the Gokujyun Hyaluronic Acid serum. This is the staple in my routine. I use it day and night and it’s really gentle on my skin. I think it’s labeled as a lotion, but it’s actually a toner. Personally, I think it’s too light to use as a toner so I kind of treat it as a serum. I use it after the Paula’s Choice 2% BHA liquid exfoliant and I heard you’re supposed to have slightly damp skin before using hyaluronic acid. The texture of it is really watery btw!!! You also need a lot less than you would think. When I first started, I would use way too much, but a little goes a long way! The last serum is the Clean Skin Club Vitamin C Brightening Booster. It has watermelon, green tea, and pineapple and it’s pretty thick. It has a slight scent but nothing too strong to handle. I like to use this after my toner and after the hyaluronic acid serum. I feel like some of the other Vitamin C serums I’ve tried in the past were way too strong so this mixture is perfect for me! Also, if you end up using this remember to use SPF afterwards!! Some Vitamin C serums are also grainy but the texture of this is creamy and smooth! #CheriePartner
My Personal Holy Grail Skincare Products
As stated in my bio, I am a self-professed skincare addict and am always on the hunt for the next best thing. My biggest skin concerns are anti-aging (since I just entered my thirties), dark circles under the eyes, and dryness. I live in the desert, so hydration and SPF are absolute musts. Luckily, I’ve found some great products that have given me what I’m looking for without breaking the bank for the most part. I’m a firm believer that you don’t have to take out a second mortgage on your home to get products that contain high-quality, effective ingredients. First, we have the bliss - Rose Gold Rescue Cleanser It’s readily available (got mine at Target), it clears away all of my makeup without drying me out, and it’s great for those of us who have sensitive skin. I follow that up with the CLEAN SKIN CLUB - Vitamin C Brightening Booster I’ll typically take a few drops of it and mix it with my moisturizer in my hands before generously applying to my face and neck. Sometimes, I’ll apply a few drops directly to my face and let it absorb before moving on to the next step in my routine. I completely forgot to include my moisturizer, by the way! I’m currently using the Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer for extra-dry skin. It contains hyaluronic acid and keeps me feeling hydrated all day. During my morning routine, I then go in with Supergoop! - Unseen Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 40 It goes on like a smooth, silicone-style primer which I love because it gets my skin ready for my face products. It feels feather-light on the skin, and there’s no white cast in sight. Then comes Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid It’s an oil serum hybrid and is meant to be the last step in your skincare routine before applying your makeup. Again, being able to achieve an all-day dewy, hydrated look is essential for me, and this has been a total game changer. The glow is REAL, friends. Since I use a tinted moisturizer instead of a heavier foundation, I find myself using highlighter less and less because this stuff makes it look like I’m glowing from within. For me, that is THE DREAM. Finally, I’ll hydrate the skin under my eyes with either the FARMACY - Cheer Up Brightening Vitamin C Eye Cream with Acerola Cherry or the OLAY - Total Effects Anti-Aging Eye Treatment Eye Transforming Cream . Both are fantastic products; I’d say that the Farmacy cream has a slicker texture that almost has a dewy sheen to it, and Olay seems to both hydrate and tighten which is great for the fine lines around my eyes. Note: In terms of results, I’ve read that it takes more time to notice a difference in your dark circles or fine lines with the Farmacy cream, and I’ve found this to be true. Olay works a lot faster on fine lines! What are your go-to skincare products? Share below, darlings 💕

Eco friendly Cotton Pads
Eco friendly Cotton Pads
I shared in my stories that I wanted to be more conscientious about my purchases in 2020. Do I need it or do I want it? But I want to go further and be more aware of how the products I use affect the environment. I wash my face in the morning and the evening. That can include a lot of waste. I’ve always loved using cotton pads to apply my toners, but it always feels wasteful. But luckily there are eco friendly options available. . I was excited when @cscfamily reached out to me to try their Organic Cotton Pads. They come in a box of 100 for $7.95, which is a great value! The pads are made of 100% organic cotton and are 100% biodegradable. The pads are huge with a 2” diameter! Perfect to clean or apply products to the entire face! They are thick and extremely soft! These feel so luxurious on the face and are a better option for the environment. These are now a must have for me!!
