New favorite Vitamin C serum? Is it worth it?
I recently put this @cleanskinclub Vitamin C brightening booster to test!! CLEAN SKIN CLUB - Vitamin C Brightening Booster And let me tell you - It's Amazing!! It's the perfct time for me to start using this as I am targeting my hyperpigmentation and PIH (Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation)/ dark spots these days. I already have Alpha Arbutin in my Morning routine and I was looking for a good, effective Vitamin C serum and I'm so happy to have found this one!! Most of the Vitamin C serums either do nothing for my skin or they are irritating. This one is so gentle and lightweight watery serum my skin almost drank it up instantly. This is FRAGRANCE FREE, DYE FREE and works beautifully!! ❤️ I'm shook to see there is no tacky, sticky, greasy finish to this when applied on skin. My skin looked the same way but a lottle more Hydrated! A really effective and amazing ingredients list Vitamin C I found! 🍊Highlights of this product: ❁ 𝕍𝕚𝕥𝕒𝕞𝕚𝕟 ℂ - Extremely efficient against free radical formation, Vitamin C helps protect you from sun damage, pollution, UV radiation and corrects existing damage like discoloration and fine lines. ❁ 𝔹𝕣𝕚𝕘𝕙𝕥𝕖𝕟𝕚𝕟𝕘 ℙ𝕚𝕟𝕖𝕒𝕡𝕡𝕝𝕖 𝔼𝕟𝕫𝕪𝕞𝕖𝕤 - When paired with ascorbic acid and the super-enzyme bromelain breaks down & sweeps away dead skin cells thus evening out the skin and restoring your tone and complexion. ❁ ℂ𝕠𝕝𝕝𝕒𝕘𝕖𝕟 𝕤𝕥𝕚𝕞𝕦𝕝𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕟𝕘 ℂ𝕚𝕥𝕣𝕦𝕝𝕝𝕦𝕤 𝕃𝕒𝕟𝕒𝕥𝕦𝕤 (𝕎𝕒𝕥𝕖𝕣𝕞𝕖𝕝𝕠𝕟) 𝕖𝕩𝕥𝕣𝕒𝕔𝕥 - Packed with natural exfoliating acids and with rich antioxidants like vitamin C and A, our hydrating watermelon extract soothes, refines and reduce the look of wrinkles. ❁ 𝔾𝕣𝕖𝕖𝕟 𝕥𝕖𝕒 𝕥𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕥𝕞𝕖𝕟𝕥 - Acne prone skin, resulting from clogged pores and stimulated bacterial growth on our skin, is efficiently treated with green tea thanks to its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory & anti-microbial properties The only con of this product is they haven't given the percentage of Vitamin C or Ascorbyl Palmitite in this formulation. What I understand from the list is it's less than 10%. Which is a truly effective percentage. Another thing about this is the price - It's 50$ for 1 fl oz (standard serum size) Over all I liked this product regardless of it's price. It goes on skin like any other. I have tried many many Vitamin C serums and I have never experienced little to no irritation, residue or tacky or greasy finish like this one. 😍✨ I think I have found my new favorite for Vitamin C. Have I seen any results with it?✨ Not dramatic ones but a slight brightening. Other results require me to use it atleast for 5-6 weeks which I haven't used yet. I will keep you updated with other results if I see any, so far it's a beautiful product!
My Fav Serums 🤩
These are the serums I use every day! I honestly don’t use too many different skin products when it comes to serums because these work really well for me already! The first one is The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% serum which I use during the night time. It definitely helps with oil control since I feel like when I stopped using it, my oil production in the T zone was crazy throughout the day. I will say though, I feel like it gives me these tiny little pimples all over my face. I’m not really sure how to fix it though so if anyone has any advice or tips, feel free to comment! The second serum is the Gokujyun Hyaluronic Acid serum. This is the staple in my routine. I use it day and night and it’s really gentle on my skin. I think it’s labeled as a lotion, but it’s actually a toner. Personally, I think it’s too light to use as a toner so I kind of treat it as a serum. I use it after the Paula’s Choice 2% BHA liquid exfoliant and I heard you’re supposed to have slightly damp skin before using hyaluronic acid. The texture of it is really watery btw!!! You also need a lot less than you would think. When I first started, I would use way too much, but a little goes a long way! The last serum is the Clean Skin Club Vitamin C Brightening Booster. It has watermelon, green tea, and pineapple and it’s pretty thick. It has a slight scent but nothing too strong to handle. I like to use this after my toner and after the hyaluronic acid serum. I feel like some of the other Vitamin C serums I’ve tried in the past were way too strong so this mixture is perfect for me! Also, if you end up using this remember to use SPF afterwards!! Some Vitamin C serums are also grainy but the texture of this is creamy and smooth! #CheriePartner

Eco friendly Cotton Pads
Eco friendly Cotton Pads
I shared in my stories that I wanted to be more conscientious about my purchases in 2020. Do I need it or do I want it? But I want to go further and be more aware of how the products I use affect the environment. I wash my face in the morning and the evening. That can include a lot of waste. I’ve always loved using cotton pads to apply my toners, but it always feels wasteful. But luckily there are eco friendly options available. . I was excited when @cscfamily reached out to me to try their Organic Cotton Pads. They come in a box of 100 for $7.95, which is a great value! The pads are made of 100% organic cotton and are 100% biodegradable. The pads are huge with a 2” diameter! Perfect to clean or apply products to the entire face! They are thick and extremely soft! These feel so luxurious on the face and are a better option for the environment. These are now a must have for me!!
