A friend gifted me this for Christmas and I thought it was cute and put it away in my duffel bag in case I would every need it to travel. I figured it would be a while before I used it but boy was I wrong. My older brother showed symptoms and tested positive so I was probably contaminated. We ended up needing to be quarantined together in a hotel for a week. Fortunately I had this to look forward to. Face wash: The face was did a pretty good job. It foamed nicely and I’ll admit was a little stripping but not a disappointment and would definitely use again. #essano - Rosehip Gentle Foaming Facial Cleanser[products]#[FourStars] Moisturizer: This I was worried would be too thick on my skin but I was pleasantly surprised. It was light on my skin and hydrated what the face wash stripped and then some. It didn’t clog my pores or anything. I really liked it. #essano - Rosehip Regenerating Facial Moisturiser[products]#[FiveStars] Face Oil: Now this was thick on my skin. I was worried because I’ve never really used a facial oil and my skin is already a little oily. After buffing it and massaging it into my skin it was really nice. And to my surprise it didn’t clog my pores. essano - Certified Rosehip Oil Face Mask: I was a little light handed with this because I didn’t wanna use it all in one go. I used it mainly on my T zone and where my pores were the largest. It’s not as intense as the Aztec clay one but I liked and it got the job done. essano - Rosehip Pink Clay Detoxifying Mask Night Cream: So like the face oil, I’ve never used a night cream. Again, I already have a bit of oily skin and didn’t think it was something I needed but I’m happy I got to use it. #essano - Rosehip Moisture Restorative Night Creme[products]#[FiveStars] Overall I’m really pleased with this brand. I love the promises they made and I’m happy they’re vegan. I am thinking about maybe replacing my Cerave with their full sized products to be honest. Everything is in a travel size but I only needed 1-2 dollops and I was all good. All of their products left my face feeling soft and rejuvenated. I can’t wait for the next time I can use it (hopefully it’s under better conditions).

Sunday Self-Care - Feeling Rosey
Picked up this nice little trial/travel kit from Essano today. It contains 5 products from their Rosehip line. My skin has been a little iffy lately due to dryness, weather, stress, etc. and just feels like it needs a little extra. This kit is the perfect remedy. essano - Certified Rosehip Oil - I use rosehip oil on my face regularly and this one feels great on the skin essano - Rosehip Pink Clay Detoxifying Mask - I’m always afraid of anything with “clay” in the title when my skin is parched but this felt so soft and silky and never dried out! essano - Gentle Foaming Facial Cleanser - wouldn’t keep using this for dry skin, it feels like it’s a tad stripping #Essano - Regenerating Facial Moisturizer[products]#[FiveStars] - Love this moisturizer! Feels light and silky. #Essano - Moisture Restorative Night Creme[products]#[FiveStars] - Nice and thick but not sticky or gloppy. Used under my eyes and they feel great. According to their website: Our Rosehip Oil range has many benefits to help improve the appearance of your skin: • Boost moisture and hydrate • Soften the appearance of fine lines • Improve the skin's firmness Not sure about fine lines yet but my skin feels amazingly smooth and hydrated!!

Do YOU multimask? 🤔
I recently discovered the process of mutlimasking! It’s multitasking with your face masks! Honestly I’m surprised it never dawned on me to do this until recently! So just in case you are like me and wayyy behind the times, here’s what you need to know! 💖 What it is and why it’s beneficial : Multimasking is basically tailoring your masking to your specific skin type and needs. Skincare isn’t one size fits all and putting just one mask meant to help one thing doesn’t cut it anymore. With SO MANY choices available, why not choose a mask for your tzone and another for the rest of your face? You can create a customized solution to address your specific skin needs, area by area. How? To make sure the masks are able to what they are supposed to, make sure you cleanse well, and exfoliate. If you have a ton of dead skin cells built up the masks won’t penetrate as well as they should. For oily skin and large pores, look for a purifying or mattifying clay mask and pair it with a cream or gel mask that targets hydration. Apply a thin layer of each mask in the areas needing treatment. Don’t forget your neck as well! Follow directions according to the individual masks. For aging skin w/ breakouts- The major signs of aging – dullness, loss of elasticity, fine lines and wrinkles, dilated pores, we all deal with as we age. To combat competing concerns, choose a variety of masks that suit your needs. Apply the mask that needs to be on the longest first, and then move on to the masks that need less time on the face. If you stage it correctly, you can remove the masks all at once. This can apply to all types of skin. Sensitive, dry, Acne prone, etc. just choose the masks to fit each individual need for your face and stage them according to time on face! Example: In the picture above, I choose to use a matcha pore mask for my oily tzone and for the rest of my face that’s aging and usually a bit dry, I choose an anti-aging moisturizing Manuka honey 🍯 mask. The results were my tzone was less oily amc my pores looked smaller and the rest of my face was soft and supple. You can create a spa experience at home by using multimasking and with covid going on, we all need it! If you do this, what is your favorite mask pairing? ❤️

The 🐝’s Knees
I’ve been waiting to review these because I wanted to try them a while and I am SERIOUSLY in LOVE 🥰 Manuka honey is basically super honey. Real honey, not the stuff you buy in the bears, has incredible benefits. 🐝All honeys have an antiseptic quality, thanks to glucose oxidase, an enzyme in bee saliva that yields hydrogen peroxide. 🐝Manuka’s powerhouse oomph is specific to its source: the fragile white and pink flowers of the New Zealand–native manuka bush—a type of tea tree burdened with the unfortunate moniker Leptospermum scoparium. 🐝Researchers at major universities and medical schools have shown that, when taken orally, the honey can heal mouth ulcers associated with chemo, reduce the stomach bacteria that cause gastritis, and lessen oxidative DNA damage in rats. 🐝Manuka honey is skin soothing, hydrating, Anti-inflammatory, and had microbial properties which make this one of the best things to add to skincare. All these are wonderful for even acne prone skin. 🐝🐝🐝Manuka can shut down the inflammatory cascade that degrades skin; it stops enzymes called cathepsins from destroying collagen; and it has peptides that help cells release a molecule called NADPH, which boosts energy in the cells, a type of energy that, like everything else, slows down with age.😳 So enter my favorite skincare duo at the moment... 🐝essano - Manuka Honey Clay Mask This baby is probably in the top 3 masks I have ever tried in my life. It smells subtly sweet and is such a soft consistency considering it’s a clay mask. The claims are that it soothes and calms skin, hydrates, absorbs excess oil, and removes impurities. Boy does it!!!! After leaving this on around 25 my face feels like baby skin. It’s plumped and the next day my bumps are almost gone!! 🐝essano - Manuka Honey Night Creme This night cream I save for the nights my skin just feels rough. If it’s breaking out, if it feels though and rough, dehydrated, then I’ll bring it out. The claims are that it provides superior hydration And help to nourish and rejuvenate skins softness. They are not lying!! I wake up with my face much more hydrated and soft and is wonderful for my breakout spots. Unfortunately, the only place you can find these is on Amazon but they are legit. The clay mask is $31.98 but I definitely will purchase again (I found this one at Marshalls.) and the night cream is $16.49 which is an amazing price and a budget find as far as I’m concerned. These should last a while as it really doesn’t take much with either product. If you have acne, aging, sensitive, oily, normal, seriously all the skin types I really recommend you give these a try!!! 🐝🐝🐝🐝

Current evening routine for dry, maturing skin
Step 1 - If I’m wearing make-up, I’ll do a double cleanse using essano - Gentle Foaming Facial Cleanser and the pmd - Clean Smart Facial Cleansing Device Followed by BANILA CO - Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Revitalizing Step 2 - apply Apostrophe - Topical Formula to face AND neck. My formula is a Tretinoin and Niacinamide formula. Step 3 - moisturize with Essano Rosehip moisturizer. It’s sooooo creamy and makes your skin feel amazing for hours. Step 4 - Dr. PAWPAW - Scrub and Nourish on lips. Usually just the balm. If my lips are feeling extra funky I’ll use the scrub too. Step 5 - apply Castor Oil to my brows with a spoolie. Step 6 - use PETER THOMAS ROTH - Lashes to Die for Turbo Step 7 - apply JOON - Saffron Hair Elixer Oil to the very ends of my hair and what’s left on my hands I use on my nails/cuticles. And that’s it! Super simple cause I’m kinda lazy but still want to cover the basics. 💙

A few things they forgot to teach....
As of July 2019, the Beauty Industry is worth over $532 billion dollars.....I can't even fathom the amount that is currently as I've been on an apprentice wage for the past 3 years...but not the point - my point remains: I wish that the beauty industry & schools had taught kids skin & brain health care. I grew up in the time where they taught you in beauty school to put your concealer on first. There was no beauty blender 🤡 There was no baking either, that was left to the oven. But since I left high school, beauty has drastically changed. I attended a girls only college, and they taught the girls more about rules for never being allowed to wear make up to school, instead of either how to properly apply it, and what foods, supplements and skin care routines would benefit them. Can someone change this? PLS 🙏 It took me a long, long time, and too many trials and errors to learn what works for me, and what totally destroys my skin. The plot twist...NOT ALL EXPENSIVE PRODUCTS WORK . There, I said it, Cash me outside. *Ques GIFs* At 26, I'm mostly adult. I have no kids, but my partner and I lead pretty busy lifestyles as well as raising two very crazy parrots, but one thing we don't sacrifice on is healthy food and great supplements. I always struggled with my iron levels, vitamin D deficiency and low B12 and always forgeting to take magnesium capsules. 🙄 Not because I wasn't in the sun enough, or eating the wrong foods, it was because I wasn't eating the right foods for my body. There is no one size fits all, but here is a list of foods we don't talk about much because...wait.. why aren't we talking about them?! 🥦 Broccoli Sprouts At 4-5 day old sprouts, they are packed full of a type of glucosinolate called Sulforaphane Sulforaphane is an anti-inflammatory, detoxifor, brain enhancing antioxidant. 🍄 Mushrooms Stocked with B vitamins & another type of antioxidant called selenium. Both these components aid in your immune system and protect your cells from everyday damage that occurs naturally through aging. 🍣 Fish Roe Omega-3 Richest polyunsaturated fatty acid that assist in regulating inflammation, hormones and your immune system. 🐟 Fish If caviar ain't your thang, all G girl, get some salmon on yo fork! 🍇 Balsamic Vinegar This gift from the gods contains No fats, very little sugar, aids in digestion, is appetite suppressant, contains strains of probiotic, regulates blood pressure as well as your cholesterol. It is an inexpensive miracle. Okay I'll get back to skin care products.... Step 1 sukin - Blemish Control Clearing Facial Wash Step 2 [A'kin] - Hydrating Micellar Water Step 3essano - Collagen Boost Eye Crème Step 4 BEAUTY GLAM - Hyaluronic Boost Serum Step 5 ANDALOU NATURALS - Age Defying Fruit Stem Cell Revitalize Serum Step 6 VOEU - Dry & Sensitive Skin Moisturiser Step 7 (PM only) essano - Wrinkle Rescue Natural Retinol Concentrated Serum J X

Help me Plsss!!!
I’ve been struggling for about 8 years with my skin that I just can’t seem to get a hold of :( Ive tried so much. I was on Yaz for about a year and realised it was way too pricy to keep going and it wasn’t doing the best job for the money I was spending Then went on femme tab earlier this year thought it helped but it really didn’t I’m still having break outs and once my skin clears up a tiny bit I break out again. I know I don’t have the worst skin ever but it makes me feel so insecure I hate it I was thinking of trying a new pill and different products to get the perfect skin(well hopefully one day) Some products I use areCeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin My cleanser ^^^ Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer One of the moisturisers^^ CeraVe - AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 Another one essano - Collagen Boost Facial Oil ^^ I love this oil it honestly makes my skin feel great Thursday Plantation - Tea Tree Medicated Gel for Acne << I use on my spots I love tea tree And I was recently prescribed with EPIDUO not sure if it’s helping as I’m still having crappy breakouts I did try the ordinary The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% BUT i didn’t really like it it gave me breakouts and I haven’t been able to control them since(not saying it’s from this but when I tried it since then I haven’t had the best skin) So please someone help recommend a pill I can try and any products that helped them out - I have dry skin - my skin loves oils -sensitive as f - I also have hyperpigmentation a lot from me popping pimples and they are a bugger to get rid of so helpppp!!
