what is wrong with my skin?!?
Note: I wash my face twice a day with CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skinand occasionally THE inkey LIST - Salicylic Acid Acne + Pore Cleanser Skin Type: Oily I've been on this particular routine for a few weeks now. In the past couple days, I have been getting tiny red (and often painful) pimples! My diet has not changed significantly and my period is nowhere in sight... Someone help please!!! NOTE: I do NOT use the Glow Tonic every day, I use it every other day or every three days. On the nights I don’t use it, I usually don't tone at all.

rate my routine
my skin is very very dry and acne prone AM: i start with the Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser this was recommended by my derm next i go in with the The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 on damp skin i wait about 30 seconds and follow up with The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% this has helped my acne so much, since i have dry skin i follow up with a heavy moisturizer like the CeraVe - Healing Ointment this is the only thing heavy enough for my dry skin, i then finish with the Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Water Gel Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 i love this sunscreen PM: i start with POND'S - Cold Cream Cleanser as a first cleanse and makeup remover, for my second cleanse i go in with Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser this was recommended by my derm, next i exfoliate 3 times a week with The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution and i use the The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 on damp skin to hydrate and follow with The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% next i use the Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer to hydrate and follow with CeraVe - Healing Ointment to lock everything in how do you like my routine, anything i should change? any advice?
Some cleansing balms for Oily/Acne prone skin
Here's a tower shot of some cleansing balms I have been using... I have tried some cleansing balms in the past that either broke me out or I didn't like, these are some I tried and liked : @banilacousa Clean it zero cleansing balm BANILA CO - Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Original - ✨ Fragrance free ✨Removes makeup, sunscreen and other non-waterproof makeup ✨Glides easily and feels so lightweight ✨ Emulsifies so well and rinses off completely ✨ Doesn't leave a greasy film and doesn't sting/blur eyes @elemis Pro collagen cleansing balmELEMIS - Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm - ✨ Has strong fragrance ✨Removes makeup, sunscreen and other non-waterproof makeup ✨Glides easily and feels so lightweight ✨ Emulsifies so well and rinses off completely ✨ Doesn't leave a greasy film and doesn't sting/blur eyes @lxmiofficial Pure nilotica oil LXMI - Pure Nilotica Melt Nourishing Balm-to-Oil ( Even though this isn't sold as a cleansing balm I really like how it removes makeup and also doesn't clog pores) ✨Fragrance free ✨Texture is thick, melts into oil ✨Removes makeup and sunscreen ✨ Doesn't emulsify ✨Leaves a greasy film on skin The cleansing balms I didn't like: @drunkelephant - Slaai makeup melting butter cleanserDRUNK ELEPHANT - Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser (This has marula oil and surprisingly it broke me out.I out this to test in different scenarios but every time I used it it gave me small breakouts, so is a no for me) @ponds cold cream makeup removerPOND'S - Cold Cream Cleanser ( This is thick cold cream that is packaged and marketed to remove makeup and dirt but isn't the best experience. It's too occlusive and doesn't glide on skin easily. It also doesn't emulsify at all and leaves that crazy thick film on skin when rinsed with water. Well, it doesn't even rinse off to start with) @banilacousa Clean it Zero is my favorite so far. Works the best for Oily/Acne prone skin. I bought this value size tub on Amazon for 23$ which is truly a bang for the buck.
HELP! Idk what to do for my face
These pictures were taken when my skin was in a rlly irritated state with a newer breakout. So I’ve been having breakouts/acne since my teen years. There have been few times in my life when my skin was actually clear and smooth with dark spots minimal and I had hope. My skin routine has pretty much been the same for years with the exception of switching toners or moisturizers here or there. My breakouts come and go. When the come, they are pretty bad and last for a while. This is what I currently use: Cleanser: CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin when my acne was way worse I switched to this product and it made the world of a difference. I love how clean my skin feels without being stripped and I do believe this a great cleanser for my skin problems. MARIO BADESCU - Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater earthtoskin - Tea Time Anti Aging Face Toner So I’ve used Mario badescu for years and I felt like it helped at first but after I a while I couldn’t tell a difference anymore. I picked up the tea time toner at Walmart as a replacement and honestly can’t tell any difference. I can say it doesn’t harm my skin. Fruit of the Earth - Aloe Vera 100% Gel I usually put this on before a moisturizer. I can’t use this as moisturizer alone or my face will feel dry. PALMER'S - Cocoa Butter Formula Skin Therapy Oil ok this used to work like magic for me. It was a great moisturizer and helped fade marks but then like it just stopped working and I would have dry patches on my face. So then I switched to CeraVe - AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 and I like this product but sometimes I feel like it’s a little heavy. POND'S - Clarant B3 Normal to Oily Skin Dark Spot Corrector I use this at night time and I feel like it’s been a pretty good moisturizer. Over the past few weeks I’ve been reading so many posts on this app and I’ve come to learn that I may need to incorporate more and diff products into my routine. But I’m not exactly sure where to start. I’ve never used a chemical exfoliant and I have sensitive skin so I would like to find a good start for me. Also my skin is combination. I get the oiliness in my t zone. I would love for any advice and recommendations as to a good skin care routine for a newbie that will help with the hormonal acne, fine bumps, clogged pores, and dark marks/hyperpigmentation.

review my (skin care) routine🥰!
hey guysss💞 , this is my skin care routine !! ofc i dont use every one of these products everyday but they are all part of my routine. cleanser : Cetaphil - Daily Facial Cleanser i personally think this cleanser is okay , its gets the job done n cleanses my face without it feeling stripped but at the same time i dont feel super clean after using it but , ofc , if thats what your looking for, it works . also , i dont think it has had a big impact on my acne so keep that in mind . micellar water (idk what else to call this step😅) : GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water with Rose Water i dont use this super often but it is useful when i do need to . i use this after i cleanse my face but still feel like there may be more dirt n oil trapped in my skin n it doesnt tighten my skin at all !! toner : The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution idk about this one yall.. i had such high expectations for this toner but i havent seen any rlly big difference . but it did rlly good at removing dead skin n evening my skin so theres that :) i use this every other night moisturizer(s) : Cetaphil - Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion i dont use this on my face as much as their Cetaphil - Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream just because i personally like a thicker cream to feel rlly moisturized n feel like i actually have enough on. but both are good just depending on the consistency you prefer and you skin type.(ex. if you have oily skin i wouldnt recommend a thick moisturizer like the moisturizing cream) dark spot corrector : POND'S - Facial Moisturizers Clarant B3 - Normal to Dry Skin i use this every other night also just cus i dont want to overdue it since its kinda oily but it works rlly good to get rid of dark spots . im kinda waiting until i get rid of my fungal acne before i use this but whenever i feel like putting it on it works pretty good. chemical exfoliator : The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution idk maybe im just not seeing it but this isnt my HOLYGRAIL like everyone says just yet. it burns bad when i put it on my face n ive had it for about 2 months now . if u have a low pain tolerance , i dont think this would be the best . but i gave it 4 stars because it may have played a part in evening my skin tone but im not 100% positive. mask : FREEMAN - Dead Sea Minerals Facial Anti-Stress Mask this is almost empty n ive had it for about 9 months now , but it hasn’t helped with my acne. i believe it has helped my fungal acne tho a little bit so if you want to try it, its like $3 at drugstores :) spot treatment : ACNE FREE - Terminator 10 i use this ofc when a stubborn pimple wants to pop up. when i put this on my pimples it kinda flattens it but does fully get rid of it for me so theres that. thats my routine ! ty for reading n comment what u think😙
Dry skin who? We do not speak of her! 🌟
When I first started using this lotion I had dry skin. As of now my skin is well moisturized and radiant! This lotion has helped improve and hydrate my skin! • I do realize that the item I listed on there is not this exact one, it was the closest one I could find. • This exact product is called ‘POND’s 24 hr moisturizer’ I would 100% recommend using this lotion to not just moisturize your skin but to give it that natural glow! 🌟

I've started a new routine a few days ago. It was going great, but this morning my chest had a red rash on it, and my face and neck have been itchy all day. It doesn't seem to be visible, but I can feel bumps on my neck that weren't there before. I've had issues with benzoyl peroxide, and I do have sensitive skin, so I got almost all Neutrogena products because I've never had issues with Neutrogena in the past, and I stuck with salicylic acid. These are the products I've been using: POND'S - Cold Cream Cleansing Balm Neutrogena - Oil Free Acne Wash, Redness Soothing Facial Cleanser Neutrogena - Acne Stress Control Triple-Action Toner Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer Has anyone had a problem with any of these products? Any ideas on which product or ingredient may be giving me problems? Also, does it sound like an allergic reaction? If not, what might it be? Thanks in advance!
Pond’s cold cream cleansing balm
I love this cleansing balm so so much I got this at Walmart for $9.89 yes i know you guys might think that pretty overpriced for a cleansing balm but this stuff is worth it! POND'S - Cold Cream Cleansing Balm I like the texture of it feel like a thick balm but glide smoothly it is not greasy when I put it on my face however, it does had fragrance not overflowing but is very nice I think it almost like rosehip oil so if you guys are allergic to that I wouldn’t recommend. I use this at night for the makeup or dirt and oil on my face and I have to say it gave me a nice clean face afterward, but make sure to use cleanser after this too incase it still sticky on your face and that all for now!
Budget Care for Eye Wrinkles and Dark Circles
You care a lot for your skin, but do you ever notice the skin around your eyes? My skincare routine consists of all the basics: cleanser, toner, essence, serum, spot treatment, moisturizer, and of course, eye creams. I’ve already talked about some of my favorite eye creams before like AHC - The Real Eye Cream For Face Season 5 and MIZON - Snail Repair Eye Cream so today, I’m going to talk about three kinds of products that also help me take care of the skin around my eyes. 1. Sheet Masks Sheet masks are good for the entire face, but they can be really beneficial for your eyes as well. As you know, these kinds of masks are packed with serums or essences that can really help in caring for your skin, including your eye area. One of my favorite budget masks is POND'S - Skin Brightening Serum Mask which costs only $1.99 per sheet mask. It brightens up my entire face as well as the area below my eyes. Plus, it’s just so refreshing. 2. Eye Pads Eye pads refer to those products that you put over your eyes. I normally just use real fruits or vegetables when I’m at home, but infused pads work well too, especially when I’m out traveling. The best budget eye pads I’ve found is PUREDERM - Hydro Soothing Cucumber Pads costing $1.99 per pack of 10 pads. Each pad contains cucumber extract, which is really great if you want to soothe your tired eyes. 3. Under-Eye Patches Under-eye patches, as the name implies, are used for your under-eye area. Most of the patches I’ve seen and used before are for dark circles, which is perfect for me because while I don’t really have huge bags, I do get dark circles a lot, especially when I’m doing late-night work. Not only can under-eye patches reduce the appearance of dark circles, but they can also help with fine lines. One budget product that I’ve been using for quite some time now is PUREDERM - Dark Circle Reducer Eye Patches which retail for around $1.49 per pack of 4 patches. You typically just put them on your under-eye area and leave them there for about 30 minutes or so. Have you tried using eye pads and under-eye patches below? I’m still looking for the best products in these categories so if you’ve got any suggestions, feel free to share in the comments below!
- Face Cream/
- Makeup Remover
Old Facial Moisturizer
This and POND'S - Correcting Facial Cream Clarant B3 Cream Dark Spot Corrector was apart of my skin care routine but I had to ditch them due to the fact that it stopped working on my skin.I used them for about three months until they randomly stopped. In their prime they slightly lightened and smoothed my skin.Sadly they never prevented acne from appearing and always left a slight irritation on my skin.
POND'S-Clarant B3 Normal to Oily Skin Dark Spot Corrector
This works great as a makeup remover . I like using a cotton ball and seeing all the makeup come off and knowing it works. I look and feel clean afterwards. The only downside is sometimes after washing my face, skin does not feel completely cleared of material and I feel like I need an extra wash to get that cold cream off. Regardless, works well, and the price is great.
