SIMPLE WINTER AM ROUTINE ❄️☃️
I’m very happy with all this products so far, all are very moisturizer for my skin, during winter it’s very dry + my skin type is dry as well. They all have good ingredients list, not fragrances, 2-3 of them have my most favorite ingredient which is niacinamide this ingredient has made a big change on my dark spots. I don’t really have acne, I’m just struggling with the dark spots that were left when I didn’t take care of my skin and didn’t wear sunscreen 🥲 remember one time someone offered to me sunscreen and my answer was “I’m already have dark skin color I don’t need it” now I’m more educated about it and I know that everyone needs it doesn’t matter the skin color. The order I use my products are 1. LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser 2. ISNtree - Green Tea Fresh Toner 3. Krave - Great Barrier Relief 4. Krave - Oat So Simple Water Cream 5. PURITO - Centella Green Level Unscented Sun SPF50+ (I reapply every 3- 4 hours) #WinterSkincareRoutine

Night Routine ✨
What are you night routine must haves? Products: Isntree Green Tea fresh Toner Loving this one right now especially since it’s randomly been warmer here the past couple of days lol. Really helps to lightly hydrate my skin and provide it with antioxidants. I recommend this to those with combo to oily skin! Soroci Morning Dirzzle Vita Toning Serum (PR) This serums has a lightweight texture that sinks into the skin really well! It’s pretty hydrating and I love using it to help keep my skin bright and glowy. Logically Skin Lifting Logic LiftDerm Multi-Lifting Cream (PR sent by @stylevana. Use my code INF10BBK for 10-15% off your order!) This cream is very hydrating and gives my skin a beautiful glow!! It’s not super thick so I like using this under a sleeping mask or in my morning routine. Glow Recipe Watermelon + AHA Glow Sleeping Mask I like using a thin layer of this because when I use a lot I find that it pills. Even though I use a thin layer it’s still very effective.  I woke up this morning with very plump, soft and hydrated skin! I try to use this once a week to gently exfoliate my skin to make it look less dull! Secret Key - Starting Treatment Eye Cream - Rose Edition This is a hydrating eye cream that isn’t too thick which is great so I don’t get milia! This is a decent eye cream,I haven’t noticed any difference so I’m mostly using this to help further moisturize my under eyes.

Layering Acids in your Routine made EASY!
Every skincare routine should include some targeted ingredients that work to improve your specific skin conditions. These targeted ingredients are known as "actives". There are numerous skincare actives to incorporate and while some may really help your skin, over doing it can actually worsen the condition of your skin. Layering these products need to be done with caution to ensure the barrier of the skin is always protected first! ☆Finding the right actives for your skin concern: -Acne: this is often treated using various AHA or BHA products such as salicylic, lactic, glycolic, retinol, benzoyl peroxide, or azelaic acid -Aging: antioxidant products are a must! Active treatments include Vitamin A and C, as well as glycolic acid -Dryness: hydration from hyaluronic acid and Vitamin E -Oily Skin: use niacinamide, salicylic acid or glycolic acid to help regulate oil production -Dark spots/circles and Uneven Skin Tone: Brightening agents such as Vitamin C, kojic Acid and exfoliation using glycolic acid ☆How to use in your routine: Most active ingredients have exfoliating properties, so using a few times weekly is enough to get the skin benefits while keeping the skin barrier protected. You can incorporate them through a serum, oil, cream or toner formulation. I often prefer a potent serum as it can absorb into the skin quickly. A moisturizer with actives work great for more sensitive skin that can get irritated easily by strong formulas. Oily skin may like a toner that rids the skin of excess oils quickly! Finally, an oil is also a great way to use actives for sensitive or dry skin. *NOTE: Vitamin C, E and Hyaluronic Acid can be used daily in your routine unless irritation occurs. Some examples of my fave actives in different formulas: The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 5% + HA THE inkey LIST - Beta Hydroxy Acid dear, klairs - Freshly Juiced Vitamin C Drop ISNtree - Hyaluronic Acid Aqua Gel Cream GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow PHA+BHA Pore-Tight Toner JORDAN SAMUEL skin - Retinol Treatment Oil PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Niacinamide Booster ☆How to layer and combine different actives Now that you have an understanding of what actives are- let's talk about how to combine them! •Hyaluronic acid + ANY- HA is a hydrating ingredient that is naturally occuring in the body. It draws in moisture from the air, so it can be combined with any other active to help hydrate the skin. •Niacinamide + Vitamin A (retinol)- great combo for more sensitive skin but still improves appearance of skin texture and breakouts •Vitamin C + Azelaic Acid- improves efficacy, treats current and post acne breakouts and hyperpigmentation (use one in AM, other PM) •AHA + BHA- more potent combination to improve exfoliation on surface and below surface of skin •Vitamin C + Vitamin E- increases effectiveness for reducing signs of photodamage *all sources listed in comments

July 2020 Empties
Here are the products I’ve finished in the month of July. I have a small review about each product down below along with an emoji indicating whether I plan to repurchase or not. If you guys have any additional questions about any of the products, feel free to ask them in the comments. 👍 - will repurchase 🤔 - liked but not sure about repurchasing 👎 - won’t repurchase ▶️ KEEP COOL - Soothe lotion - lightweight emulsion type moisturizer that performs like a creamy serum to keep the skin adequately moisturized and hydrated. 👍 ▶️ ISNtree - Hyaluronic Acid Aqua Gel Cream - gel cream moisturizer formulated with 5 different types of hyaluronic acid to deeply hydrate the skin. One of the best gel cream I’ve ever tried. 👍 ▶️ ISNtree - Hyaluronic Acid Toner - slightly viscous toner with 3 different types of hyaluronic acid to hydrate and balance the skin. Basic no frills toner that plumps the skin. 🤔 ▶️ ISNtree - C-Niacin Toning Ampoule - skin brightening treatment that uses 69% sea buckthorn fruit extracts and 2% niacinamide. Great alternative for those who can’t tolerate traditional vitamin c serums. 🤔 ▶️ Beauty of Joseon - Calming Serum : Green Tea + Panthenol -lightweight serum that uses 76.49% green tea leaf water and 2% panthenol to hydrate and the soothe the skin. Performed really well for my skin by reducing redness and irritations. 👍 ▶️ @nichebeautylab purifying gel cleanser* - daily treatment gel cleanser that helps to regulate skin oiliness, reduce sebum production, and cleanse pores. Contains salicylic acid and willow bark extract. Wasn’t drying on the skin. 🤔 ▶️ íUNIK - Black Snail Restore Serum - snail mucin based serum that claims to help with skin brightening, skin soothing, reduction of signs of premature aging, and increased cell regeneration. Lackluster results for my liking. Essentially just a good hydrating serum. 🤔 ▶️ TROIAREUKE - AGT Hydro Essence Moisturizing Gel - viscous gel type essence that’s adheres very well to skin to condition and provide hydration. Didn’t work out well for me. Caused itching and irritations after prolonged use. 👎 ▶️ TROIAREUKE - Acsen UV Protector Essence -my top favorite sunscreen for oily skin types. One-of-a-kind skincare product? 😳
Let’s get straight into the tea Based on the ingredients this is super promising! 😳 For $19, you get a blend of Niacinimide, various beneficial plant extracts, Vitamin C derivatives, and it is FRAGRANCE FREE! This product contains 2% niacinamide which is at a low percentage, making it safe for sensitive skin. (Studies show anything above 10% can cause irritation without additional benefit) Niacinamide is great for reducing redness, controlling oil production, fading hyperpigmentation and reducing appearance of pores! It also contains various plant extracts that can beneficial for the skin such as morninga, broccoli, and aloe extract other notable ingredients include beta glucan, sodium hyaluronate and panthenol (all hydrating and soothing ingredients) It has a very watery texture, almost like a toner and absorbs very easily into the skin. I would give this product an 9/10 because of how unique it is and I would never find something like this for the same price in America. If you would like 10-15% off Korean skincare use the code INF10SCGEEK at Stylevana.com **this product was gifted by StylevanaISNtree - C-Niacin Toning Ampoule

WHY I LOVE TONER
I LOVE TONERS. Here’s the thing about toner - it’s a complete MYTH that you need one for the purposes of rebalancing the pH of skin after washing your face. That’s ancient advice (marketing, really) from when pH-balanced liquid facial cleansers hadn’t been invented yet and people used alkaline soap bars to cleanse their faces. Toners these days serve different purposes, but the two most common categories I see are exfoliating toners and hydrating toners. Today, I’m going to talk about my favourite type - hydrating ones. I started using a hydrating toner about six years ago and I haven’t looked back. In fact, I still use the same brand today - Hada Labo. My skin is oily, but around six years ago I started using Differin for my acne. The side effects of this include skin that dehydrates easily, so I needed to start using a product that helped that. My research pointed me to Hada Labo toners, and the first one I tried was the Hada Labo Shirojyun Toner. To use a hydrating toner like this, all you need to do is pat in a small amount until fully absorbed. If you want to, you can use it for the ‘7 Skins Method’ a method where you pat in 7 layers of toner. It’s easy to do because toners are usually very watery products. This is my favourite thing about toner - the bottles are larger and you can pat in more layers of products, so they’re MORE effective and better value than applying a single layer of hydrating serum. Right now I’m trialling the Mizon toner and I actually don’t like it that much - it’s just ok. Same with the Hada Labo Premium Gokujyun Toner. I love the Isntree Toner, it's the most like the original Hada Labo toners that I've tried Do you use hydrating toners? HADALABO - Hada Labo Shirojyun Albutin Medicinal Whitening Toner HADALABO - Gokujyun Premium Lotion MIZON - Snail Repair Intensive Toner ISNtree - Hyaluronic Acid Toner

update skincare routine for fungal acne!
yay updated skincare routine! these past few months i had been getting these crazy breakouts on my forehead, but after a switching some products, my skin has been thriving! cleanser although i love the CeraVe - Salicylic Acid Facial Cleanser, i found that i would irritate my skin a bit and i decided to switch over to my favorite fa safe gentle cleanser ETUDE - SoonJung pH6.5 Whip Cleanser serums dont get me wrong, i absolutely LOVE the NATURIUM - Niacinamide Serum 12% Plus Zinc 2%this was my second bottle of it but once i ran out i decided to finish up the PEACH & LILY - Glass Skin Refining Serumso it wouldn’t be lying around in my skincare stash. but i still much prefer the naturium serum over peach and lily. essence i wanted to incorporate an exfoliating step in mu routine sence i had drop the SA cleanser. so i thought the ISNtree - Clear Skin 8% AHA Essencewould be a perfect fit in my routine. i use this serum every other day. treatment of course i have my holy grail Curology - Curology formulawith azelaic acid, clindamycin, and zinc pyrithione, this is the one product i will never get rid of moisturizer i think the FIRST AID BEAUTY - Hello FAB Coconut Water Creamis an all around good moisturizer. its fungal acne safe however it wasn’t moisturizing enough nor did it prevent breakouts. i was previously using the NATURIUM - Marine Hyaluronic Water Creambefore but had temporarily stopped using it. although its not fungal acne safe, this moisturizer hasn’t caused any breakouts and is just so luxurious. and cheaper 😳 masks ive had this DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial Masksince last christmas, and since december is comming soon, i want to use this mask up as quickly as possible because baby this wasn’t cheap. i use this on the weekends in place of my exfoliating essence. oil / occlusive in my last routine i was using Aquaphor - Healing Ointment Skin Protectanton my cheeks for the evening but switched to The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Squalaneoils because i felt that it absorbed nicely and didn’t leave my poor pillow so mf greasy sunscreen i love love love love the FACE HALO - MISSHA All-Around Safe Block Aqua Sun Gel SPF50+ PA++++but i wanted to try something new and something more accessible to me so i tried the Neutrogena - Sensitive Skin Face Liquid Sunscreen SPF 50and aaahh its an ok sunscreen but not as good as the missha one micellar water i would always buy the GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Cleanser & Waterproof Makeup Remover( blue) and i love it its great but i wanted to switch it up and use the pink one. its ok but i think the blue one works better. comment which products you love for fungal acne!! like and share! xo melanie 💗

Isntree Green tea fresh toner
Isntree Green tea fresh toner
ISNtree - Green Tea Fresh Toner I first got this because I heard that it was similar to the amorepacific single extract essence and it has kind of similar ingredients. The texture is watery but a little thicker and smells kind of like medicine, but I really don’t mind it and it’s not strong at all. It’s very hydrating on my skin, I love to put two layers when I need it and it soothes my skin very well. I do find it oil controlling and at the end breakout controlling and it simply prepares my skin for my next serums. I love this so far and will probably buy a second one in the future after I used some other toners up. It’s a pretty big bottle for 20$ and I love that it has no fragrance and alcohol! Isntree is very underrated in my opinion.
