Completely erase your deep wrinkles with this
I have struggled with harsh lines since my 20’s. The furrow line in my forehead is so pronounced I didn’t believe there was a skincare solution. I’ve switched my nighttime and daytime routine around three times since I started Cherie because of the knowledge I’ve gained from Cherie members and board certified dermatologist Dr.Dray. Here is what I do; Morning Routine 💙I rinse my face with water - DO NOT CLEANSE (I have an article on my page as to why you should not cleanse in the morning please check it out) 💜 AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) this product makes your skin smooth and brighten and it actually preps the skin to allow better absorption of the next product 💛Vitamin C serum is applied, vitamin c helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines 💚hyaluronic acid it plumps my skin up 🧡neutrogena hydro boost with spf 50. This is a water gel lotion with hyaluronic acid 🤍I finish with Avene moisturizing protecting lotion, this lotion I swear by it. It doesn’t claim to reduce fine lines but as soon as I put it on all my forehead wrinkles smooth right out. ➡️sometimes I add Vaseline to the sensitive areas of my face if I’m staying home the under eye where crows feet are and the furrow in my forehead. Doing this protects the skin barrier because it locks in the moisture from your products and slows down their absorption rate which means you benefit more from them. Nighttime routine 💛oil based cleanser. Oil based cleansers break up makeup, sunscreen and sebum more efficiently than regular gel cleansers 💙gel based cleanser next, it completely cleans the face from any left over oil cleanser ♥️ toner maybe twice - three times a week but not everyday as it’s winter the air is dry, toner can be even more drying 💚Retinoid serum comes next, but the face should be dry. 🧡Niacinamide to reduce the appearance of pores and fine line. 💜Vitamin E at the end of the day helps your skin barrier restore itself from the pollutants and uva and uvb exposure 🤎moisturizer is second to last on my routine, 💖last but not least in fact one of the most important things is SLUGGING! petroleum jelly is smeared on my face focused on the underlines where crows feet show, the furrow on my forehead - I don’t do my neck. I explained up above why this benefits you. ❇️so after 1 month of doing this my wrinkles have erased and my pores look great❇️ Fourth Ray - Reveal 10% Alpha Hydroxy Acid Serum TruSkin - Vitamin C Serum Fourth Ray - Hyaluronic Hydra Duo Skincare Kit Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Water Gel Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 Avene moisturizing cream DHC - Deep Cleansing Oil CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser Neutrogena - Rapid Wrinkle Repair Retinol Oil Fourth Ray - Remedy 10% Niacinamide Serum Vitamin E from TrueSkin Avene moisturizing cream Vaseline - 100% Pure Petroleum Jelly, Original

the best moisturizers for this dry winter season
The winter time has arrived and Christmas is just around the corner. The air is colder and drier… and no help to our skin. Here are a few of the best moisturizers- for night and day- to ensure all-day hydration… all found over-the-counter or at a drugstore! Before we begin our list, here are some benefits as to WHY you should moisturize morning and night, no matter your skin type. Firstly, your skin will become less oily. Dehydrated skin leads to overproduction of oil. If your skin is hydrated, it won’t feel the need to produce more ‘moisture’. Another benefit is plumper and brighter skin, which, of course, contributes to the overall youthful, glowy skin that everyone desires. Dry skin can also lead to itchiness, so moisture is key to prevent irritation. Hydration is also key for a smoother makeup application. The key ingredient in all moisturizers is hyaluronic acid- if you don’t see it listed, don’t bother buying it. Personally I also prefer fragrance-free. Make sure to always use a moisturizer with SPF in the morning, or at least use sunscreen over your moisturizer. CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion This is my all time favorite night cream. I have been using it for years and swear by it. You really can’t go wrong with CeraVe and this cream is everything it claims to be- ultra-lightweight, insanely hydrating, and oil-free. Perfect for acne-prone individuals like myself. Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel MoisturizerI feel like this gel-cream product has gotten a lot of hype recently, and rightfully so! Glycerin and HA are the perfect combo and your skin will drink it up. It’s also non-comedogenic and alcohol-free. VANICREAM - Moisturizing Skin CreamThis cream is recommended for extremely dry and sensitive skin. You’ll also find ceramides in this product, which are found in the phospholipid bilayer cell membrane. Meaning, if you find ceramides listed amongst the ingredients, it will help reinforce the skin’s barrier (ahem, cell membranes). LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer UV SPF 30For acne-prone skin, generally oil-free is the way to go. Also known as non-comedogenic, oil-free moisturizers won’t clog your pores. La Roche-Posay has many great products for acne-prone skin, and I use quite a few myself. Aveeno - Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 I wanted to throw in a moisturizer with SPF (one I’m currently using, actually). This moisturizer is oil-free, made with soy extract, and paraben-free. It has SPF 30 and has little tiny sparkles that make your skin glow after application. It also works great under makeup. I hope this list helps, as these are some of my favorites. My top brands for moisturizers are CeraVe, La Roche-Posay, and Cetaphil. Serums are also a great option (REVOLUTION - 2% Hyaluronic Acid Serum). Don’t forget to moisturize those lips too (I use Vaseline - 100% Pure Petroleum Jelly, Original every night)! And finally, remember to stay healthy and hydrated during this holiday season. --------------------------------------------- Thank you for giving my post a read! Iam excited to share my thoughts on topics I am passionate about. :) LG, Louisa

Winter skincare mistakes
1. Hot showers during the winter actually dries out the skin and damages the surface of the skin. It can also cause those with eczema to flair up. -solution: warm showers and warm baths to warm up during the cold. 2. Skipping sunscreen during the winter is a bad idea and a big mistake. Just because it’s darker out a little more gloomy doesn’t mean the suns UVA and UVB rays have decreased intact they have increased to make up for the lack of light. -solution: keep that sunscreen coming! 3. Ditching your lip care during the winter doesn’t make sense, because the air becomes dry and cold your lips are at a higher risk of becoming chapped and peeling. -solution: use Vaseline lip balm! It’s the holy grail of lip balms as it’s the only product on the market known to lock in moisture so you don’t need to excessively reapply 4. Forgetting to exfoliate is not something you want to do, going from cold to hot to cold as you go outside to inside causes your skin cells to dry out and die faster. -Solution: buff off these dead cells with your exfoliant so new cells can form with no obstruction 5. Sticking to the same moisturizer, again I switch to my skincare as the seasons change. Most use light weight moisture during the summer but the winter air is extreme and drying -solution: use a heavy moisturizer, don’t be afraid to slug you don’t have to excessively slug buy using a thick moisturizer and then applying a layer of Vaseline / petroleum jelly will lock in the moisture. Vaseline is a non penetrating product meaning the harsh air of winter will not be able to penetrate through the Vaseline and damage your skin cells like we talked in number 4. And that lovelies are my 5 winter care tips! Below are the products I suggest Vaseline - Lip Therapy Rosy Lip Balm ZO SKIN HEALTH - Exfoliating Cleanser Vaseline - 100% Pure Petroleum Jelly, Original innisfree - Moist Winter Barrier Sunscreen

I was thinking for awhile to offically open a freebie type instagram, and possibly facebook. Maybe more. So basically it would be posts in beauty, cosmetics, makeup etc that are free samples/freebies/free offers or coupon deals. Just free or coupons. Not sale offers. But to be fair, I have to post for both the US, and those in Canada. I have and know of tons of free offers but didnt want to start my account unless I know others have an interest in joining this type of account! So if you would be interested in free samples, coupons, free offers in makeup and beauty products.. You can leave a comment, cheer this post or follow to let me know! . If by tomorrow, i see 10 or more interactions, I will begin and post the account name!Vaseline - Lip Therapy Rosy Lip BalmTom's OF MAINE - Natural Long Lasting Deodorant, Wild LavenderMUGLER - Angel

Hey! Just wanted to posted a photo of what my skincare routine has been during my accutane journey. No irritation from any of them. Let me know what you think!

Rate my Routine✨
Hi friends👋🏼 I’ve been using this wreck of a year to FINALLY start taking care of my skin! I did a TON of research over the summer and finally started a multi-step routine last month. I’d appreciate some seasoned skincare advice, since I’m still mostly a newbie 🥺 ☀️ Cleanser: LA ROCHE-POSAY - Effaclar Medicated Gel Cleanser for Acne Prone Skin (works well, no strong medicated scent, and it makes me feel clean right away!) Toner: DICKINSON'S - Original Witch Hazel Pore Perfecting Toner (not great, not bad, just an average toner) Serums: COSRX - BHA Blackhead Power Liquid (can already see a difference on my nose/chin after just a week!) DERMA•E - Vitamin C Concentrated Serum (LOVE this serum! I can already see a slight brightening of my skin after 1 week. I also love the smell🥰) The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (Only gave 3 stars because I can’t tell if the recent decrease in acne is due to starting this or my period ending?) Eye Cream: VERSED - VACATION EYES Brightening Eye Gel (pretty sure this isn’t doing anything... I just keep using it because I already have it...) Spot Treatment: Clean&Clear - Advantage Acne Spot Treatment (Similarly to TO, can’t tell yet if this is working or if my acne was more hormonal¿) Moisturizer: LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream Sunscreen: Aveeno - Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 🌚 Make-Up Remover: CeraVe - Makeup Removing Cleanser Cloths (I use these on my lazy evenings) 1st Cleanse: VERSED - DAY DISSOLVE Cleansing Balm (LOOOVE. Helps get everything loose for my 2nd cleanse) 2nd Cleanse: LA ROCHE-POSAY - Effaclar Medicated Gel Cleanser for Acne Prone Skin *Same Serums/Eye Creams/Spot Treatment as AM* Retinol: CeraVe - Resurfacing Retinol Serum (using every night and I don’t think it’s too harsh, but it’s also not doing much?) Moisturizer: CeraVe - Skin Renewing Night Cream (very rich & creamy!) Vaseline - Cocoa Butter Healing Jelly, Rich Moisturizing (on lips and extra dry areas for locked in moisture through the night) What’s the verdict? Are there products I should add/remove/change the order of? I REALLY want a better eye cream and have heard good things about THE inkey LIST - Brighten-i Eye Cream??I’m also thinking about replacing my current toner with THE inkey LIST - Glycolic Acid Liquid Toner 100ml. THANKS 🖤

My P.M Skincare routine
It took me about a year to formulate and create a skin care routine that catered to my own skin perfectly. I must say, I have come a long way from using witch hazel and apricot scrubs and figured out what my skin needs. It’s amazing progress. Hopefully this year I will incorporate a retinol into my routine.

Battle of the lip balms 💥🥊
Aquaphor - Lip Repair, Immediate Relief, Fragrance Free Vaseline - Lip Therapy, Original Lip Balm in terms of gentle, fragrance free lip balm these are both good - especially for winter 🥶 when chapped lips never lets up. personally I prefer the aquaphor. It’s thick, but smooth and stays on very well. It’s been good for me living in a dry climate that snows in winter. the Vaseline lip therapy line is techinically the same as using the big jars of Vaseline. But somehow it isn’t. I have a big jar of Vaseline and it’s a thinner consistency than these small pots. On top of that they put yellow dye in the small one for some reason... it’s a little thicker and can occasionally irritate my lips (not sure why, maybe it’s sealing in a product I used before applying the Vaseline? Or it’s the yellow dye that the big jars don’t have? Who knows tho but I don’t like it). It’s also sticky, unlike the big jars. I’d honestly buy the aquaphor over Vaseline any day. It’s a better deal and I don’t have to dip my finger in a jar which seems unsanitary especially during these times. The Vaseline lip jars are going for 3-4 bucks each when I could buy a jumbo jar for that same price! Personally I think the lip therapy lip is a rip off and would sooner buy the aquaphor. Or just buy the big jars of Vaseline that don’t have the dye or sticky consistency.

Clinique Charcoal Mask & Scrub/Moisture lipjelly
I’m in love with this combo. CLINIQUE - Moisture Surge Lip Hydro-Plump Treatment CLINIQUE - City Block Purifying Charcoal Clay Mask + Scrub First off I love the texture and the scent of the mask . It’s not that gritty . Easy to wash off with a wash cloth . Apply and leave on for five minutes then exfoliate . The clay mask detoxifies and exfoliates . Who doesn’t love two benefits in one ?! I will buy a larger bottle once I finish this one ! It’s a game changer . Then applyCLINIQUE - Moisture Surge Lip Hydro-Plump Treatment to your lips after you e cleansed and applied all your facial treatments . The lip jelly reminds me of Vaseline - Lip Therapy, Advanced Healing Skin Protectant but thicker . Use overnight for extra hydration and a lip mask . My lips feel super soft while it’s on and when it’s off . Let me know if you’ve tried any of these products and your feedback on them .

my night time skin routine 😴✨!!!
these are the products that are in my night routine: 1. first I cleanse with CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin -this cleanser works really well with my sensitive/combination skin - it leaves my skin very soft and smooth -unlike other foaming cleansers it doesn’t dry out my skin at all!!! - it is very gentle and has a calming affect on my skin 2. then I use The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% - this product saved skin - it makes my skin really smooth - made my skin a lot less oily - helped get rid of the tiny bumps on forehead 3. next I moisturize with THE inkey LIST - Bakuchiol Retinol Alternative Moisturizer - is a great light weight moisturizer - leaves my skin nourished, supple, and plump - contains squalane and sacha oil which protect and nourish the skin -the 1% bakuchiol serves as a natural retinol alternative helping to prevent fine lines and wrinkles 4. for my lips I use Vaseline - Lip Therapy Rosy Lip Balm or Vaseline - Lip Therapy, Advanced Healing Skin Protectant - the rosy balm is very moisturizer and leaves my lips shiny with a pink tint - the texture is really soft and velvety - the advanced healing skin protectant nourishes my lips - it leaves them hydrated and really helps when my lips are very dry 5. lastly I use KATE BLANC - Castor Oil - I have been using it on eyelashes & eyebrows since march - my eyelashes are a lot fuller and longer then before - I use a spoolie to apply it to my eyebrows - my eyebrows are the thickest they have ever been!! * this is just to remind you that what works for my skin might not work for yours, I did my research and tested many products to find the best ones for me and that really helped, it takes time and eventually you will find what works for your skin!❤️

vaseline trifecta for glowing, moisturized skin!
my whole family is raving fans of these vaseline products. this line is AMAZZZING. my dry skin drinks these up. Vaseline - Cocoa Radiant Body Gel Oil is great for super dry areas like feet and elbows. it’s very shiny so you don’t need a lot, but when i’m feeling luxurious, i put this on all over, then put on my target lounging jammies and let it all soak in overnight. Vaseline - Cocoa Radiant Intensive Care Lotion is my everyday lotion. the cocoa butter scent (of all three products) is light, and this lotion is not sticky or greasy. it melts in very easily too (not something that i always see in lotion with lower price points). Vaseline - Cocoa Radiant Body Butter may be my favorite product of this trio. it’s thicker than the lotion, but still rubs in super easily. i use this after every shower.

Body moisturizer is 🔑
During the winter I moisturize my body more than ever because it gets so. dry. and I hate dry skin. These are my favorite moisturizer for my body in the winter. They all have thin and gel like consistencies which I absolutely love! The Cetaphil - Sheer Hydration Replenishing Body Lotion is perfect for post shower moisturizing. This one is such a thin consistency, fragrance free and just overall a good relatable moisturizer. Vaseline - Cocoa Radiant Intensive Care Lotion has the best cocoa scent I love this one for evening out my skin tone and hydrating. CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin is great because it can be used on the face and body is a holy grail relatable one. Would always recommend. My skin is sensitive so I have to be careful with which ones I use on it and these all work great for me!

your lips deserve their own care routine too
your lips deserve their own care routine too
Everybody should show their lips some love! What else would you kiss with 😉? My lip care routine is still in the works, but here’s what I’m using right now. First, Burt’s Bees lip balm. I have so many of these and I will buy infinite more. Then the Bath and Body Works sugar rose lip scrub- it’s cheap, but it’s effective. If you need more exfoliation, you can also add the good ol’ clean toothbrush as a scrubber. At night I use Vaseline lip therapy to add some tint to my lips, and occasionally this lip mask, which I couldn’t find but I don’t like it anyway. It smells like grape Tylenol. During the day, I LOVE the Laneige grapefruit Lip Glowy Balm. I’m a sucker for grapefruit, what can I say? This stuff is amazing for your lips; they’ll feel so soft. The finish is super glossy with the tiniest tint, which is my kind of party! I would recommend all of these except the mask to show your lips a lil bit of love <3

Got dry lips?
Got dry lips?
This is only for the lip therapy in tins and the scent is just a preference. This one smells a little bit of moscato and rose wine. I use this every night and I use it in the day as well during the winter because that’s when my dry lips get extra dry. Why do I recommend this? Well when I had dry lips I would just use this overnight and I would notice my lips become more hydrated the next morning and even if I forget to use it one day, my lips would still be okay. I carry this with my all the time but because on closing it too tightly because this is very hard to open. I’ve tried the ones in the mini plastic Vaseline jar but for come reason the formula is just completely different and don’t hydrate my lips. Try it out and let me know which one you like more.
