How I fixed my skin 😇
So I know my skin still isn’t perfect (is anyone’s skin perfect tho??) but it looks a lot better!!!! I went to many dermatologists who never told me I had fungal acne 😒 they always recommended creams and stuff that just dried out my skin more but didn’t help! So one day I googled “it feels like there are rocks in my skin” and I figured out that i had fungal acne 😝 I didn’t even know there were different types of acne!! Right away I started using Nizoral - Anti Dandruff Shampoo which helped a lot but didn’t solve the problem Then recently I learnt about a website you can use to test ingredients to see if they are fungal acne safe! Website: folliculitisscout.com I tested all my skin care and gave my mom any products that had triggers! I SWITCHED UP MY ENTIRE SKIN CARE ROUTINE and it was worth it 🙌🏼 I used that website ^ to help me find the right products for my skin which I posted in the photos! I’ve also reviewed them all in individual posts! 🥳 I hope this helps somebody 🥰 I’ve had bad skin since I was like 12 years old and now I’m 22 and just learnt how to fix it! Also my last post was about a homemade mask I made with just honey and oat flour and my skin has been feeling amazing because of it so I also recommend trying that 💖
Started this routine faithfully for about two weeks all together using these all together at night. I’ve been using Arbonne cleanser and night cream for years but have added the other things in too. Arbonne Cleanser- I love this anti aging cleanser for its ingredients, texture and it gets all my makeup off too. So I use this first. DIFFERIN - Daily Deep Cleanser BPO 5% I use this cleanser after my makeup is off and scrub jt around with my face scrubber pictured. I also let it sit on my skin for a couple minutes so it can soak in and work then I wash it off. insta natural - Organic Rose Water I forgot to picture this but I use this as my toner. I never notice if one toner works over the other but I always make sure to use a toner after I wash my face. De La Cruz - Sulfur Ointment, Acne Medication, Maximum Strength I honestly use this more before I do my morning routine but sometimes I do it before my nighttime routine after I cleanse my face. I leave it on for awhile to dry up my zits. Sometimes at this point I use a serum, I alternate between insta natural - Dark Spot Corrector or insta natural - Age Defying & Skin Clearing Serum or insta natural - Skin Brightening Serum, Anti-Aging or ARBONNE Renewal serum or ARBONNE Spot correcting essence..... or I do The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution Then I use my ARBONNE NIGHT CREAM. I use my DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel on top of my night cream so I don’t overly dry out my skin. I don’t use this retinoid the same night I use The ordinary peeling solution though. I may have a couple times but it will definitely make your skin red and hot which I don’t want to overly irritate my skin either. The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil I use this with a drop of emu oil to help lock in moisture, help my acne scarring and help heal whatever acne I do have. I noticed a slight difference using the emu oil (definitely leaves your skin so soft in the morning) but the minute I started using insta natural - Age Defying & Skin Clearing Serum whether morning or night and DIFFERIN - Daily Deep Cleanser BPO 5% DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel I noticed a huge difference in my acne, inflammation and texture of my skin. I hope this can help someone else like this app has helped me! It’s so nice to finally see some improvement in your skin.

I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin and dry to normal skin. I don’t this it’s fungal acne though. Products I use: Cleanser-CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin Moisturizer- CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin Oil- De La Cruz - Vitamin E Oil, 15,000 IU
NIGHTTIME SKINCARE ROUTINE FOR ACNE PRONE SKIN
BACKGROUND ON MY SKIN I have pretty moderate to severe acne. It fluctuates, where at times my skin is looking great and not other times. I breakout fairly often, but the intensity of the breakouts vary. I also have oily skin along with texture issues and lots of scarring. I have more scarring than active breakouts. I am still on my journey to clear skin! NOW TO THE ROUTINE: 1. Wash face with raw African Black Soap SKYORGANICS - African Black Soap Bar lather with hands and apply to face in scrubbing/circular motions, then wash off with warm water. - helps cleanse skin thoroughly and remove any dirt and bacteria. 2. Apply witch hazel as a toner DICKINSON'S - Dickinson's Enhanced Witch Hazel Alcohol Free Hydrating Toner Pour some witch hazel onto a cotton round along with 2-3 drops of tea tree oil and wipe on entire face and down to the neck. - Helps remove any leftover dirt and bacteria not washed off by the cleanser/soap. Also over time helps to even out skin tone and calm redness. 3. Apply Niacinamide serum The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Apply 3 drops onto face, rubbing in throughout entire face. (Avoiding having the dropper touch your skin) - Helps with acne and helps heal scarring and improve texture of the skin. 4. Spot treatment with tea tree oil! (The one I use is on a previous post, check there for specifics) pour a small amount (a drop or less) onto your finger and apply onto active breakouts that need more attention. - it is antibacterial (helping kill the bacteria) and can help decrease inflammation and redness. 5. Apply Vitamin E oil De La Cruz - Vitamin E Oil, 15,000 IU Pour a small amount onto the palm of your hand, rub with other hand, then apply onto face by pressing it onto the skin (rather than wiping) press the skin with each of your hands until the oil is distributed entirely. - Moisturizes skin and helps with acne scarring That’s it! That’s what I do every night. (If you want more, here’s some things I may do throughout the week, but not everyday) 1. Twice a week I apply a chemical exfoliant The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution Apply around 5 drops or more if needed, onto face, rub all over and leave on for 10 min before washing off - Helps exfoliate the skin and helps improve texture and reduce scarring. 2. Apply a face mask (different ones I may use) AZTEC SECRET - Indian Healing Clay FREEMAN - Feeling Beautiful, Renewing Peel-Off Gel Mask, Cucumber FREEMAN - Sweet Tea & Lemon Peel Away Clay Mask - Qasil mask (ground Gobb tree leaves) *still testing out 3. Sugar scrub exfoliate Grab pure sugar and gently scrub onto face then wash off. - helps remove any dead skin, leaving skin soft. If you have any questions about what I use, ask below! I’m happy to help ☺️
2 Ingredient Hair & Scalp Treatment!
Both Shea Butter and Tea Tree Oil have so many amazing benefits for your hair and scalp. They are both extremely versatile and can be used separately but I like to mix them together for a hot oil hair and scalp treatment. Shea Butter Benefits: Soothes irritated Scalp Sealant for the hair (protects from weather) Heat Protectant Shields Against UV rays Softens Hair It also has a ton of skin benefits! Tea Tree Oil Benefits: Soothes Itchy Scalp Reduces Dandruff and flaking Prevents Excess Oil Production Promotes Hair Growth Prevents Hair Loss Treats Lice And so many more overall health benefits. How to make DIY Treatment: 1. Scoop out 3-5 tablespoons of Shea Butter (or more depending on your hair length and texture) and put it in a microwave safe container or glass 2. Put hot water in a bowl and inset base of glass into bowl 3. Once Shea butter is melted add Tea Tree oil. For each table spoon of Shea Butter add 1-2 drops of Tea Tree oil 4. Apply liberally to hair and scalp 5. Put disposable plastic cap or plastic bag on hair and leave in for 30 mins, 15 mins if you have a heating cap. 6. Wash and Condition hair When you was out of your hair, your scalp will be flake free and have a beautiful shine. #CheriePartner
Best treatment for acne/pimple scars
Skin breakouts can be baffling, and they can leave scars on the face . A few people find that skin inflammation scars are an undesirable token of an agonizing and troublesome condition. In any case, skin break out scars don't need to be perpetual, there are few products that I would like to talk about which helps my scars to fade over time. The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution The first product that I would like to mention is The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution. This helps to get rid of my dead skin. I use this at least 2 times a week, and notice that my complexion looks even. Making my face look smooth like butter. Sine the product claims to “ Targets textural irregularities, signs of congestion, uneven skin tone, and signs of aging.” It really tells you the truth. I highly recommend this product to exfloaite and get rid of dead skin. De La Cruz - Tea Tree Oil 100% Pure Essential Oil Tea tree oil is the next best thing you should all have especially if you suffer from acne. We all have build up of bacteria in our skin, tea tree oil helps to kill the bacteria from growing. Tea tree oil could be very strong, there is a way to dilute it with almond or olive oil. There are many studies that have really help to improve inflammation skin. LANCÔME - Visionnaire Skin Solutions Pure 0.2% Retinol Correcting Night Concentrate Retinol is the next best thing to have as part of your daily routine. It is an engineered subordinate of Vitamin-A yet falls under a more extensive class of retinoids. retinol clears skin and keeps further flare-ups from happening. Normally, less skin break out will bring about less skin inflammation scars. Also, retinoids can intensify the impacts of other cured creams and gels, permitting you to get the most extreme advantages of whatever medicines you're utilizing. The product I use is LANCÔME Visionnaire Skin Solutions Pure 0.2% Retinol Correcting Night Concentrate. Even though this pricy, it really helps with my pimples scars. I only apply this over my dark spots and helps to improve my scars within 2 weeks. I apply this 3 times a week.

🧪𝐅𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢-𝐀𝐜𝐧𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬🧪 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐢𝐧 - patience is what you need if you want this ingredient to do wonders for your skin. great for acne and anti-aging - surely will be my bestfriend for a long time. although I think it doesn’t do much for my pigmentations, this has improved the texture of my skin tremendously. ~ 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐨-𝐀, 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐚, 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐚 𝟎.𝟓% 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐭 𝐙𝐢𝐧𝐜 - the underrated one. I’ve always loved zinc for my scalp. I use it for my hairline, it’s an awesome ingredient for seborrheic dermatitis (self diagnosed😅) When I learned about malassezia folliculitis (fungal acne) and I was positive I had it, I tried Zinc for my face and it totally got rid of the pustules/whiteheads. I use it in the morning while in the shower, lather and leave it for 5-10mins on the face then rinse off. Give it a week of two to do its magic. ~ 𝐕𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐙 𝐁𝐚𝐫, 𝐓𝐎 𝐍𝐢𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐝𝐞+𝐙𝐢𝐧𝐜 𝐒𝐮𝐥𝐟𝐮𝐫 - I don’t see this a lot in cosmeceutical products but it’s one amazing ingredient. Just found my lost ointment not long ago. Sulfur is antibacterial and anti-inflammatory. It’s great on absorbing excess oil too. Leave it on affected area and rinse off after 10mins. I usually use it once, but if the acne is stubborn I would use it again the next day. Sulfur speeds up the process of healing the skin. ❗️sulfur can burn the skin and you can end up with dark marks, never leave it on for more than 10mins. ~ 𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐟𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐜 𝐨𝐱𝐢𝐝𝐞, 𝐒𝐀) 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴: 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐜𝐢𝐝 - excellent pore-clearing/exfoliant especially for acne prone skin 𝐍𝐢𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐝𝐞 - reduces inflammation 𝘮𝘺 𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘶𝘭𝘢: tretinoin 0.018% 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐦𝐲𝐜𝐢𝐧 -antibiotic, reduces bacteria and swelling (not for long term use) 𝐀𝐳𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐜𝐢𝐝 - anti-inflammatory , also great for rosacea sufferers
