Don’t let your face crack!
HydroPeptide - Moisture Reset Phytonutrient Facial Oil A few days ago I woke up with a dry, achy face! This was tragic for me I ran and grabbed my favorite product that Immediately intensifies the moisture back to my face and elbows! Hydropeptide’s Moisture Reset 💕 It’s great for sensitive skin and ingredients such as avocado (yum) and lavender oil replenish the skins barrier and nourishes hydration. A couple drops of this and your fav moisturizer/serum will have you feeling right again in no time! Also, if you get redness under your nose like I do from the irritation of dry season, this is the best product for you. The rice bran extract will soothe and diminish irritation and redness. A bit of this and a serum and poof! You’re back in action

Favorite Serum + Oil Combo for Dry Skin
The HydroPeptide - Moisture Reset Phytonutrient Facial Oil and Dr Dennis Gross - Alpha Beta Pore Perfecting & Refining Serum have been a favorite combo for me lately in the AM morning skincare routine. The air has been absolute trash in California and it’s been 100-112 degrees. Safe to say my skin is so DRY. I’ve actually had some skin start peeling on my forehead between my eyebrows ✨cute✨. I’ve been looking for a moisturizing face oil that doesn’t feel greasy. I had oily skin in high school (5 years ago🙃) and am always worried about my skin reverting back to that. Luckily it hasn’t but lately it has been super dry. The HydroPeptide - Moisture Reset Phytonutrient Facial Oil doesn’t leave my face greasy or super oily at all, it feels really moisturizing and refreshing. I use it after I put the Dr Dennis Gross - Alpha Beta Pore Perfecting & Refining Serum on and let it sink in for a minute or so. And the combo of these two has been so helpful. I wish I could feel a better difference with the Alpha Beta Serum but I’m still going to give it more time to feel/see a difference. I’ll update my review in a month or two.

PEPTIDES. Are you considering a peptide serum but not quite sure what they are or what they do? Simply put, peptides are the building blocks of proteins, including keratin, collagen, and elastin. They signal your cells to produce more collagen (which happens to be one of the major building blocks of the skin). By applying them directly to your skin you’re telling your body it needs to make more collagen. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Synthetic peptides are used to support and boost skin proteins and the 3 most popular include signaling peptides, neurotransmitter-affecting peptides, and carrier peptides, which each work and benefit the skin in different ways. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’ve been consistently using a peptide serum for a few years now and find them to be an essential part of any anti-aging routine. Here are some of my faves: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ HYDROPEPTIDE Power Serum Line Lifting Transformation* contains 4 Volumizing Peptides, 4 Plumping Peptides, 3 Relaxing Peptides and 2 Preservative Peptides to offer maximum and superior anti-aging benefits. It is pricey at $144 for 1 oz/ 30 mL but it’s also packed with antioxidants and growth factors which gives it a real bang for your buck! HydroPeptide - Power Serum Line Lifting Transformation ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ PETER THOMAS ROTH Peptide 21™ Wrinkle Resist Serum* contains a 73% Peptide and Neuropeptide Complex that helps to visibly reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles. I really like the lightweight lotion consistency of this formula and so far have been happy with the results.  $125 for 1 oz/ 30 mL PETER THOMAS ROTH - Peptide 21 Wrinkle Resist Serum ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ DR. JART+ Peptidin™ Firming Serum with Energy Peptides* contains an Eight-Peptide Complex that replenishes and recharges fatigued, depleted skin. At $48.00 for 1.35 oz/ 40 mL this is the most budget-friendly of the bunch and a great option for those looking to incorporate peptides for the first time. ✨FABFITFUN SUMMER BOX Product Review!
✨FABFITFUN SUMMER BOX Product Review!
I just recently got my FabFitFun Summer box, which if you dont know, is a $50 subscription box that sends you 8 full sized products that can be related to makeup, skincare, fashion, technology, lifestyle, etc! You can customize your box to an extent by choosing between products within categories, so of course I always choose high end skin care products to test that I wouldn’t otherwise spend money on before trying first! Here’s what I found from the skincare products I recieved: 1. HydroPeptide - Moisture Reset Phytonutrient Facial Oil Price: $120.00 for 1 oz. Description: Anti-wrinkle restoring face oil with flower extracts, avocado and pumpkin oils, and rice bran extract. ReviewThe price!! I would absolutely NEVER buy this oil for the full price no matter what it claims, that is a ridiculous amount of money for only 1 ounce. It also has an earthy/herbal smell that isn’t horrible or very strong but its slightly off-putting to me, although I’m glad that indicates a lack of artificial fragrance. The ingredient list is extensive with SO many different types of oils and extracts, so its hard to tell exactly which ones are doing the heavy lifting how much of each is benefitting me. However, I was actually pretty shocked at the results. My skin was like BUTTER in the morning, it was soo soft and moisturized, much more so than it usually would be! Therefore I give it 5 stars; if you can afford it then it works well! 2. Kate Somerville - Goat Milk Moisturizing Cream Price: $65 for 1.7 oz Description: Daily facial moisturizer whos main ingredient is lactose from goat’s milk. Review: I like it, but I don’t absolutely LOVE it for the price. Its very refreshing and soothing, but I was expecting it to be a thicker night cream consistency, but its actually very thin and runny so too lightweight for night time, but perfect for the day time! It feels like you will need a lot for ample hydration but a little goes a long way and it definitely is hydrating and makes you glow. Its a good moisturizer, but I wasn’t wowed and definitely wouldn’t repurchase. If you have oily/combo skin and the price isn’t an issue for you I would definitely recommend it, but its not enough for my drier skin. 3. dr. brandt - Do Not Age with Dr. Brandt Triple Peptide Eye Cream Price: $82 for 0.5 oz Review: This is definitely the best eye cream ive tried (though I haven’t tried many). Its so creamy and thick and melts into my eye area very easily with little to no rubbing! My eye area isn’t a problem for me so I can’t really attest to the short term results but I imagine in the long term this will be very beneficial. However, the price point is still crazy. 4. SPONGELLÉ - Coconut Verbena Hand Cream Price: $18 for 2 oz. Review: This hand cream is HEAVEN, so soft and hydrating and the smell is delicious. SO WORTH IT! ❤️

Hydropeptide Oil from my FabFitFun Box :)
Hydropeptide Oil from my FabFitFun Box :)
HydroPeptide - Moisture Reset Phytonutrient Facial Oil This oil claims to moisturize even the most sensitive skin types. I received this in my FabFitFun box, so I did not have to pay the retail price of $120 CAD. This product contains avocado oil and lavender oil to moisturize. It also has rice bran extract, which gently soothes irritation and redness; and, flower extracts, which softens skin. This oil works to give you even, glowing skin. How to use: ✨ Add a couple of drops to any product including moisturizers, serums or body lotions for an extra boost of moisture. 1. Gently swirl bottle before use. Use the dropper tool to dispense 3-5 drops of oil into the palm of hands. 2. Use gentle sweeping and patting motions to apply oil all over face and neck. 3. Follow with HydroLock Sleep Mask or appropriate serum and moisturizer. 4. May be used AM and PM. What does it do? - Nourishes and hydrates skin - Improves skin barrier function - Softens skin overnight ✨This product is vegan and cruelty free and does not contain any gluten, parabens, phthalates, soy, or sulfates. My thoughts: It’s a nice oil consistency. It does not have an over-powering scent. I didn’t find it caused any irritation or to have clogged my pores. I think with consistent use it would certainly give you that glowy skin it promises.
