A few things they forgot to teach....
As of July 2019, the Beauty Industry is worth over $532 billion dollars.....I can't even fathom the amount that is currently as I've been on an apprentice wage for the past 3 years...but not the point - my point remains: I wish that the beauty industry & schools had taught kids skin & brain health care. I grew up in the time where they taught you in beauty school to put your concealer on first. There was no beauty blender 🤡 There was no baking either, that was left to the oven. But since I left high school, beauty has drastically changed. I attended a girls only college, and they taught the girls more about rules for never being allowed to wear make up to school, instead of either how to properly apply it, and what foods, supplements and skin care routines would benefit them. Can someone change this? PLS 🙏 It took me a long, long time, and too many trials and errors to learn what works for me, and what totally destroys my skin. The plot twist...NOT ALL EXPENSIVE PRODUCTS WORK . There, I said it, Cash me outside. *Ques GIFs* At 26, I'm mostly adult. I have no kids, but my partner and I lead pretty busy lifestyles as well as raising two very crazy parrots, but one thing we don't sacrifice on is healthy food and great supplements. I always struggled with my iron levels, vitamin D deficiency and low B12 and always forgeting to take magnesium capsules. 🙄 Not because I wasn't in the sun enough, or eating the wrong foods, it was because I wasn't eating the right foods for my body.
