WOW ☠️ I’ve only used this mask 2 times and boy !am I happy someone suggested it to me. 🤍 I have pretty normal/combo skin so clay is too drying and any creams/serums were sticky, harsh or ineffective. Follain - Dual Detox Mask: Purify + Resurface is a perfect combo of creamy and clay. It’s so smooth to put on (invest in a mask brush, thank me later) and doesn’t smell too “foofy” (as my mom says). It drys like clay but doesn’t crack and make a mess. My main issue is blackheads and sebum and after removing this it feels like it sucked all that shiz out. After it does feel a tad dry but nothing HONEST - ELEVATED HYDRATION MIST can’t fix. I have already gotten like 4 friends on this mist (seriously - thank me later). I then finish with a serum to either hydrate with The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 or amp up the mask with The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 5% + HA . This depends on what my skin is doing. If it’s winter and very dry I mist a bit more and apply the hyaluronic acid (face MUST be wet to use this product - something I found out waaay late). If my pores are extra clogged I use the lactic acid as an additional liquid exfoliator. Follow up with an oil or night cream whatever you feelin’! Bottom line - I can’t recommend this mask enough and look forward to trying more Follain products!

I’ve always had combination skin. My dry spots get really dry and my oily spots get ridiculous. I’ve spent two decades looking for the right moisture products because 90% of moisture products cause my face to shine like a diamond or my pores to expand to craters. Especially in Fall and Winter because my dry skin will start flaking and reddening. It drives me bonkers I’ve tried sooooo many moisture masks that just didn’t do it at all: 💧VERSED - LOOK ALIVE Hydrating Plumping Mask 💧MARIO BADESCU - Super Collagen Mask 💧bliss - In The Honey Mask 💧Follain - Ultra Hydrating Mask: Restore + Soften 💧LANCÔME - Rose Jelly Mask ...and probably so many more than I can’t even remember off hand. I was probably most excited about Follain - Ultra Hydrating Mask: Restore + Soften because I absolutely CANNOT live without Follain - Dual Detox Mask: Purify + Resurface . I was skeptical from the get... it just looked like Nivea Body Cream. But I forged ahead. After leaving it on for the instructed 20 mins (it says you can leave it on all night, but I can’t even imagine...), my skin was instantly greasy. It was like I couldn’t rinse it off completely. The next day, my pores were almost twice their usual size, the oiliness was out of control and I had pimples popping up all over the place. Ugh. Just when I was about to give up, a friend of mine told me about the AHAVA - Hydration Cream Mask . I wasn’t super excited to spend $40 on yet another disappointment, but she insisted that I’d love it. The instructions said to leave it on for 3-5 mins, but I ended up having a situation and wasn’t able to rinse for 20 mins, which made me even MORE nervous! When I rinsed, though, I was in shock. My skin was matte but felt like velvet. And that soft velvety feeling lasted for days! No extra shine, no heavy greasiness. It felt like a miracle. The Dead Sea mud it contains purified and soothed. My skin was brighter, plumper, and so soft that I couldn’t stop touching it. Now, I use it twice per week for 30 mins each time and rinse with a washcloth. No expansion of my pores, not a single pimple, flakes don’t exist anymore and never any added oiliness. I can’t recommend it highly enough!
