static nails: ballerina 💅
I used STATIC NAILS - Liquid Glass Lacquer in the color Ballerina for this at-home manicure! It’s a sheer pink-ish white that gives a really fresh look. It’s not necessarily the most winter-ish look, but it does remind me a little of snow so I guess that’s ok. I used a base coat, 2 coats of color, and a top coat.
This polish though!!! I love this color, the ease of application, the finish, and I believe it’s cruelty free! STATIC NAILS - Liquid Glass Lacquer
Static Nails—Reusable Pop-on Nails
Love these! This is my first time trying this brand’s pop on nails. They were very easy to apply and managed to fit my little nails. The glue dries SUPER fast! It will take me a while to get used to these long nails🤩 This set was $16 and they’re reusable which is great. I applied a thin layer of glue which lasted me 4 days. Static instructs you to apply more glue for longer wear but this was my first time so I didn’t really want to have them on for that long. To remove them, soak your hands in hot water (the warmest you can comfortably stand) then try to remove them. I actually had a nail pop off before all the rest so I used that nail to remove the other nails! Very easy with no nail damage. this week’s at-home mani 🐢 with static nails
i really enjoyed this at-home press-on nail kit! it was easy to use - they send a lot of sizes, a mini file, and glue. the instructions are easy to follow and i was surprised that i didn’t get glue everywhere 🤣 what really attracted me to STATIC NAILS - Tortoise Shell French Mani Round is the super cute design. static nails has a pretty nice range of designs, shapes, and lengths. i tried to go with something not too long, and neutral yet fun. i can still type and text easily with these, so that’s a good sign (i’m definitely a press-on novice). these nails are $16, and you receive 24 nails in 12 sizes. if you remove them gently, you can get several uses out of them. 💅🏾 #cheriecreator
Painted nails @ home ✨
I’ve been seeing so many cute nude nail inspo lately I couldn’t help myself ! But I peel nail polish off easily since I type at work all day which is why I invested in this STATIC NAILS - LIQUID GLASS LACQUER: PERFECT NUDES PALETTE Since it’s said to last 14days and be chip free I have not yet applied the top coat in the photos as I’m giving my nails more than enough time to dry I love these nudes and the fact I would still wear all these colors individually Will update a review on the quality of the polish but honestly love that I only needed two coats of polish to get the pigment ! And that the set comes with a primer and top coat as well as 7 different colors!
EASIEST Pop-on Nails for a Natural Looking Mani!
Before COVID, I was addicted to acrylics. I spent years trying to find the best nail tech in my city, and once I did, were acrylics were part of my everyday look. However, salons have been shut down since January and I needed a lovely manicure for a photoshoot. Cue, STATIC NAILS - Dusty Rose Pop-on Reusable Manicure Set Not only is the colour fabulous, but they have many more to choose from as well as lengths and shapes. These nails are reusable, and I have another set I’ve worn twice with no issues. They last me 7-14 days, depending on how much or little glue you use. Each set comes with a buffer and enough glue to last you at least three separate applications, and it’s easy to work with (and if you get confused, the instructions are very comprehensive). For me, it’s easier to apply these rather than painting my nails, and they always make me feel immediately more elegant. They don’t chip or crack, and look like my real natural nails! Seriously, I’ve had people think this manicure are my own nails. That’s a great feeling. If I’m ever in a pinch and can’t get my nails done, I love having a set or two to pop on.

Obsessed with Static Nails
I’m obsessed with Static Nails. I started using them because of the quarantine but now I don’t think I’ll ever pay $80 for a manicure again. They are reusable, especially if you take care of them. I used a set for almost two months before they looked too worn to keep using them. I highly recommend these!

Static Nails VS your drugstore nails 💅🏼
Reposting from my personal account but I thought that this would be a good time to make a post on @staticnailsofficial 😙 I’m wearing “super holo” in coffin shape (although I filed them down to more of an almond shape). That being said, they fit small nails like mine and can be filed down easily for a better fit. This is my second time wearing this same set. They’re reusable! I think that’s one of the main reasons why I like them and can justify the price. I went out and bought some press on nails at the drugstore so I could do a more thorough comparison and those are definitely much harder to reuse. Mostly because they’re really difficult to get off without damaging the press on nail. Static Nails comes off easily with warm water, but they’re also a lot more durable and don’t pop off as often. Drugstore nails also end up causing my real nails to lift a lot more. I’ve definitely seen less damage done with Static Nails, although it’s not 0 damage. While drugstore nails usually range about $8-10 and Static Nails are around $16, I’m much more willing to spend the extra money on Static because of their durability and how I’m able to reuse them with no problem. The only issue I’ve come across is losing the pinkie nail of the Peach Fizz set. There was only one nail that could fit my tiny pinkie and I lost it while removing them 😞 My nails use all of the smallest sizes in the set so now I’m just left with a bunch of sizes that are too big and way too big to make work as a pinkie nail. — gifted

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.Feb. 17
