ROUTINE ✨Swipe to see before and after pictures
Hi girlies, this is my 8 step day time skin care routine, and this is the order i apply them too💗 1⭐️I wash my face with the PCA skin - Creamy Cleanser and omg I absolutely love this cleanser, it is great if you have dry skin because after washing your face feels so hydrated and you dont have that dry feeling like your skin is gonna rip off anytime lol! 2⭐️After that i apply my HERITAGE STORE - Rosewater Spray toner and i gently tap it in until it feels tacky, and hydrated, 3⭐️after that i apply my NEOGENLAB - Real Rerment Micro Essence which is an hydrating essence thats so hydrating i love how moisturized i feel, and it also helps to brighten my skin. 4⭐️After my essence i like applying my vitamin C from hyper - Hyper Clear Brightening Clearing Vitamin C Serum right after my toner directly onto my skin and gently tap everything in. This vitamin C is absolutely amazing, it helped me with my hyperpigmentation tremendously. It is for sensitive skin, i never experienced no redness or burning from it. 5⭐️After vitamin C I apply The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 for some more hydration and after that i apply my PAULA'S CHOICE - Daily Pore-Refining Treatment with 2% BHA which is a chemical exfoliator, its in liquid form and guys YOU NEED THIS! I cant barely see my pores & i had HUGE pores! This is a staple in my day routine! 6⭐️After exfoliator i apply my NEOGENLAB - Real Ferment Micro Serum this serum is so good, leaves my skin plump and soft, It is formulated with Vitamin C, Vitamin E and Vitamin B5, as well as active ingredients like panthenol and collagen to help reinforce skin elasticity. It is non-greasy but hydrating, improves oil-water balance, and fortifies skin barrier for a healthy and radiant complexion!! 7⭐️Next step I apply my moisturizer from BANILA CO - Dear Hydration Moisture Boosting Cream and its so hydrating and i love how my skin feels after, not greasy but hydrated. 8⭐️The last step of courseee its SPF THANK YOU FARMER - Sun Project Water Sun Cream and guys this sunscreen is AMAZING leaves me feeling hydrated and it gives me this amazing glow 😍 and thats it, thats whats been working for me during the day & of course with clearing the hyperpigmentation around my mouth area. I hope this helps 💗 ill be posting my night routine soon! Lmk if you like more of these posts 😊

NURSING MAMA’S PM SKINCARE
If there is one thing I can NEVER skip, it’s my PM skincare routine. I can’t relax at night until my skincare is done. Doesn’t matter how simple and quick my routine may be, it’s something that really helps me unwind and feel done for the day. Before I was pregnant, I used Retin A every night and loved it. It helped keep my acne calm and obviously helps with anti aging. I look forward to the time I can safely use Retin A again (honestly, more than I look forward to having a glass of wine 😬). Now as a nursing mama, I’ve had mixed reviews from different doctors on the use of topical Retin A. As a personal choice, I’ve decided not to use Retin A while nursing because I wasn’t comfortable (same goes for that glass of wine 🙂). It’s taken some time for me to find some nursing friendly products that I like, but in the end, I’ve found that simple is best for me. 🍼CLEANSE: Same as AM, my go-to CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin If I wore makeup during the day, I will either double cleanse with this, or use POND'S - Cold Cream Cleanser to break down really stubborn make up before washing my face. If I’m struggling with a bit more acne, I’ll use the CeraVe - Acne Foaming Cream Cleanser as my cleanser. 🍼TONE: I use The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution at night only. The mild exfoliation helps with texture, uneven skin tone, and anti-aging. 🍼TREAT: Same as AM, I use the PCA skin - Pigment Gel HQ Free This is used as a spot treatment to target hyperpigmentation from acne scaring. I’ve loved the results so far. Just make sure it is the HQ free version for all of you nursing mamas. I then dab 2-3 drops of The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA which also helps with texture, radiance, and anti aging. 🍼MOISTURE: Same as AM, CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin The best. Need I say more. To lock it all in, I finish with CeraVe - Skin Renewing Gel Oil to Improve Skin Radiance This gel oil formula works to seal in the added moisture. It is a bit thick and oily (hence, gel oil) which is why I only use the product at night. It does eventually sink in well and never feels greasy on my face, but I just don’t have the time in the morning to let it sink in before applying any make up and being on my way. That’s it. Definitely more steps at night than in the morning but this is my “me time”. What’s your go to PM skincare product that I should check out? As always, consult your doctor before using any new products while pregnant/breastfeeding.

NURSING MAMA’S AM SKINCARE
Simple, quick, and effective AM skincare for a nursing mama! 🍼CLEANSE: By far my favorite simple and gentle cleaner, CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin Gets the job done, pregnancy and nursing friendly, and contains ceramides, niacinamide, and hyaluronic acid. Does not irritate skin and good option for acne prone skin. 🍼TREAT: I just started incorporating the PCA skin - Pigment Gel HQ Free to help with hyperpigmentation due to postpartum acne scars. When I became pregnant, I had to discontinue all of my active ingredient products as they were not safe during pregnancy. Most are still considered unsafe while nursing, so it’s taken me a while to find something I am able to use. This is used as a spot treatment on the troublesome areas. *Must be HQ free and as always, consult your doctor before using a new product 🍼MOISTURIZE: My go-to moisturizer (safe for both face and body) CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin Nice and thick which I prefer, but they also make a lotion which is a lot lighter and also great for both face and body. I don’t think I’ll ever use another “fancy” moisturizer again. 🍼SUNSCREEN: Always, always, always apply sunscreen no matter if you plan on being outdoors or not. Sunscreen is going to not only protect you from harmful UVA and UVB rays, but also help with hyperpigmentation. My favorite is elta md SKINCARE - UV Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 46 I use the tinted version of this for some added coverage. Does not leave a white cast, does not feel greasy or heavy on the skin whatsoever. When I’m feeling extra, I’ll layer a bit of the colorescience - Sunforgettable Total Protection Face Shield Glow This sunscreen is a bit shimmery, so while I don’t like to apply all over, I’ll use this sunscreen almost as a highlight to the high points of the my fave where the sun would naturally hit like cheekbones and tip of nose. That’s it. Keeping it simple, fresh and effective with few active ingredients. It’s important to be aware of the ingredients in the products you are using as a nursing mama. Unfortunately, a lot of active ingredients are off limits, but I’ve found a few that have proven to be safe and effective. I do use a few more actives during my PM routine. Also, I’m interested in incorporating a Vitamin C serum into my AM routine. Any recommendations for me to check out?

It’s a huge NO from me
I’ve heard really good things about PCA as a brand so I was excited to try this PCA skin - Hydrating Toner but I didn’t like this at all!! A HUGE reason this product was a fail for me was the dispenser! I hate it😂 the product just gets everywhere and it drives me crazy. Now onto the product itself. Overall the toner isn’t bad but it also didn’t do anything for me. It not only claims to hydrate the skin but to soften and smooth it out and I didn’t see any difference in my skin at all. The very least I expected from this toner was to hydrate my skin and my skin never really hydrated after use. So while I’m still open to trying other products from this brand the PCA skin - Hydrating Toner was just a big no from me.

Nighttime Routine - a little extra
Below is my night time routine. I work at a massage/esthetician clinic so I was able to get the higher priced items on majooorrr discount. There’s no way I would have purchased otherwise. Once I use up the majority of these items I will be switching back to more cost effective and just as great products. POND'S - Cold Cream Cleanser | Really, really good cold cream. I use this to break down my make up as a first cleanse. Works really well and really gentle on the eyes. Gave 4 stars because it leaves a slight film in my eyes, but a couple minutes and that’s not an issue. OBAGI - Nu-Derm Gentle Cleanser | Great gentle cleanser. After using my skin feels squeaky clean and hydrated but not tight or too stripping in the slightest. Quite overpriced, but really good. Will use up. Won’t repurchase. PCA skin - Hyaluronic Acid Boosting Serum | Another amazing product that is very overpriced and I know for a fact that I can get something just as good with out the hefty price tag, I mean it’s just a hyaluronic acid for goodness sake. Will use up. Won’t repurchase. PCA skin - HydraLuxe Intensive Hydration Face Cream | Pretty good face cream, has a lot of amazing ingredients. Does amazing things for my skin, very hydrating and makes my skin feel like a baby’s bottom. Very very hefty price tag on this bad boy. Never got to buying the full-size. Ended up with two minis of it and I use it sparingly. Will absolutely use up. Won’t repurchase. DERMA•E - Hydrating Eye Cream | Great hydrating eye cream. I haven’t noticed that it does anything too special, but it makes it so that my under eyes don’t look crusty or nasty under concealer the next day. Finish up with LANEIGE - LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask or Treat Beauty Jumbo Lip Balm. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

💧🤩Hyaluronic Acid for fuller Lips🤩💧
💁🏻‍♀️If you're a beauty fiend, no doubt hyaluronic acid sounds familiar; it appears in all sorts of moisturizers and serums nowadays. The molecule is derived from sugar, making the chances of an allergic reaction low even for sensitive types, and it can hold up to one thousand times its own weight in water, aka ideal for locking moisture into the skin. Fillers favor it because HA naturally occurs in the body and is slowly broken down over time, so it's much more natural looking and feeling, not to mention far more reversible than old school lip fillers like silicones or fats. 🎯When applied topically on your lips, hyaluronic acid gives the appearance of fuller, plumper lips by hydrating the surface of your lips. Essentially these new lip plumpers work like a lip balm turned up to 11, filling the skin cells in your lips up to the brim with moisture so your lips look their most naturally full and plumped. They also have the potential to yield longer term results than ye olde Lip Venom, though you have to use them consistently to maintain the effects. It's also worth noting that in the same way that serious skin moisturizers can minimize fine lines and wrinkles without increasing the size of your face, these filler alternatives are best suited to making lips look more plush 👄and naturally voluminous, not giving you a major sizing change an injectable will provide! 🤫 I know, I know—you're probably still having flashbacks to the old-school versions that made your lips feel like they were on fire❌. But trust me: The newer (and smarter) formulas of today promise more plump and less pain, so you can get in on the trend without feeling like a swarm of bees attacked your face. Ahead, I rounded up few best lip plumpers of all time, including super-hydrating serums, hella-pigmented glosses, and more.PCA skin - Hyaluronic Acid Lip Booster BUXOM - Full Force Plumping Lipstick TOPIX - Replenix Plumping Lip Treatment SPF 30 skyn ICELAND - Plumping Lip Gels SkinMedica - Ha5 Smooth & Plump Lip System GRANDE COSMETICS - Grandelips Hydrating Lip Plumper Trio BUXOM - Full Force Flirt Mini Plump and Pout Duo DuWop - Lip Venom naturaBissé - Diamond Lip Booster Too Faced - Lip Injection Extreme Lip Plumper (Clear) Fillerina - Lip Plump Grade

NUTRIENT TONER
NUTRIENT TONER
Many may wonder if toner is a necessary step within a skincare regimen. I used to question it myself, and once believed it was just a marketing ploy. As I’ve begun to learn about the importance, I now understand just how crucial one can be, following our cleanser, in balancing the PH of our skin prior to the application of serums. The Nutrient Toner from PCA is my holy grail! The solution is based in fermented pumpkin wine, and includes gently exfoliating lactic acid + nourishing ingredients such as clove oil, aminoguanidine, and ginger root oil. On the evenings I exfoliate, (2-3 x week) I use my Sente cleanser followed by a few passes of the nutrient toner. While creating client regimens, I am always sure to include this toner as it is a beautiful enzyme solution that is gentle enough for sensitive skin, but efficient enough for those who are acne-prone or pigmented.
