Rate my Routine✨
Hi friends👋🏼 I’ve been using this wreck of a year to FINALLY start taking care of my skin! I did a TON of research over the summer and finally started a multi-step routine last month. I’d appreciate some seasoned skincare advice, since I’m still mostly a newbie 🥺 ☀️ Cleanser: LA ROCHE-POSAY - Effaclar Medicated Gel Cleanser for Acne Prone Skin (works well, no strong medicated scent, and it makes me feel clean right away!) Toner: DICKINSON'S - Original Witch Hazel Pore Perfecting Toner (not great, not bad, just an average toner) Serums: COSRX - BHA Blackhead Power Liquid (can already see a difference on my nose/chin after just a week!) DERMA•E - Vitamin C Concentrated Serum (LOVE this serum! I can already see a slight brightening of my skin after 1 week. I also love the smell🥰) The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (Only gave 3 stars because I can’t tell if the recent decrease in acne is due to starting this or my period ending?) Eye Cream: VERSED - VACATION EYES Brightening Eye Gel (pretty sure this isn’t doing anything... I just keep using it because I already have it...) Spot Treatment: Clean&Clear - Advantage Acne Spot Treatment (Similarly to TO, can’t tell yet if this is working or if my acne was more hormonal¿) Moisturizer: LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream Sunscreen: Aveeno - Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 🌚 Make-Up Remover: CeraVe - Makeup Removing Cleanser Cloths (I use these on my lazy evenings) 1st Cleanse: VERSED - DAY DISSOLVE Cleansing Balm (LOOOVE. Helps get everything loose for my 2nd cleanse) 2nd Cleanse: LA ROCHE-POSAY - Effaclar Medicated Gel Cleanser for Acne Prone Skin *Same Serums/Eye Creams/Spot Treatment as AM* Retinol: CeraVe - Resurfacing Retinol Serum (using every night and I don’t think it’s too harsh, but it’s also not doing much?) Moisturizer: CeraVe - Skin Renewing Night Cream (very rich & creamy!) Vaseline - Cocoa Butter Healing Jelly, Rich Moisturizing (on lips and extra dry areas for locked in moisture through the night) What’s the verdict? Are there products I should add/remove/change the order of? I REALLY want a better eye cream and have heard good things about THE inkey LIST - Brighten-i Eye Cream??I’m also thinking about replacing my current toner with THE inkey LIST - Glycolic Acid Liquid Toner 100ml. THANKS 🖤
THIS CLEARED MY ACNE IN 3 MONTHS!(IM IN LOVE )
Ok the title may be a bit dramatic but seriously back in June or July I started noticing I got serious case maskne I was very depressed about it was spending $60-100$ on skincare and it didn’t do crap :( I thought drying lotion and biore was doing it for me , and it wasn’t at all my skin was so overwhelmed with all the things I was putting on it until I went back to basics and subscribed to curology (that didn’t last long btw) the products - CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin MARIO BADESCU - Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater sukin - Certified Organic Rosehip Oil 50ml DICKINSON'S - Original Witch Hazel Pore Perfecting Toner The Ordinary - Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser 1. First I wash my face with CeraVe Pat dry with a paper towel next I take a cotton pad and drench it in witch hazel ( I know witch hazel is iffy for some people but it works for me and it really improved my skin care routine all the years I’ve had acne . I use CeraVe Moisturizer Cream + Azalaic Acid I used Curology for 3 months , it improved my skin texture blemishes and overall pimples however it got expensive and I started to use alternatives as the weeks went on , Azelaic was in my prescription (4%, I use 10% now ) That combo is a bit drying even if CeraVe says it’s moisture 😩so I usually spray my face with rose water spray (there’s no real benefits to it I just like doing it tbh ), after that I slap my face with rose hip oil , the best thing /oil ive ever purchased I spent years thinking oil meant acne and breakouts I just had to find the right oil and it’s rose hip it’s a game changer my maskne scars are completely gone .

Skincare Journey.... help please!!!
Hey! So I am in desperate need of help please help a lost girl out! Is this fungal acne, is this hormonal acne, is this normal??? I’ve literally been having breakouts since I was 10 and I’m 29 About 2 months ago I really wanted to step my game up and work on clearing my skin and just feeling better in my own skin, I’m not big with any makeup so my goal is to have a more natural glow and smooth bright skin.. 😂🤦🏼♀️ ik thats everyone goal Anyway I need help! Maybe I introduce too much at once or is this my skin purging .. 48 hrs ago I decided to stop using everything and just use my boy friends dandruff shampoo once a day at night and nothing in the morning. My AM Routine CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin FOREO - LUNA fofo bliss - Glow & Hydrate Day Serum TRADER JOE'S - Ultra Hydrating Gel Moisturizer with Aloe & Green Tea Extracts My PM Routine CeraVe - Renewing SA Cleanser For Normal Skin bliss - Renew & Smooth Night Serum CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion My sometimes product used mostly at night DICKINSON'S - Witch Hazel Liquid (Only used sometimes mid day if I felt super oily, or at night during a bad breakout) HERO COSMETICS - Mighty Patch Original for Madewell (Used this for hard stubborn painful pimples)
K Beauty Acwells 5.5 pH Toner for Sensitive Skin
I recently purchased acwell - Licorice pH Balancing Cleansing Toner for sensitive skin although I have combination skin. It came down to three reasons: It was all over the internet and I hadn’t used a toner since my teens. In the 80’s they were known to be abrasive but touted as a must have for skincare. Well not my routine 😂😂😂 Licorice helps regenerate elastin and collagen for skin. It contains amino acids, which are known to help moisturise and hydrate skin. Although it lightens skin the active compound is Glabridin. Glabridin’s a natural, gentle skin lightening agent, that acts to block the action of the skin-darkening enzyme, tyrosinase. Blocks not remove, so a winner for me because I have olive skin. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 This is not licorice, like the candy. Instead, it’s from Licorice Root. acwell - Licorice pH Balancing Cleansing Toner is packed with moisturising ingredients and uses Rheum Palmatum Root Extract (Rhubarb), Psidium Guajava Leaf Extract (Guava), and Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract for their astringent properties. My thoughts 💭 🧚♀️ I tend to use toner sporadically because I use DICKINSON'S - Witch Hazel Liquid which can be drying. I’ve used acwell - Licorice pH Balancing Cleansing Toner daily since it arrived and no irritation. 🙌🏽 🧚♀️ It has a herbal scent and light watery base when pouring but it has a sticky/tacky texture when applying. Not unpleasant ☺️ 🧚♀️It doesn’t irritate #noalcohol 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 🧚♀️ I only use it on blemishes not my entire face and my blemishes have cleared up. I have no issues with acne 🧏🏽♀️ but I like to use products for acne prone skin. I like to think prevention before cure 🤷🏽♀️ I’m sold on acwell - Licorice pH Balancing Cleansing Toner 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Have a great weekend! Jade 😃

Lazy Night Rountine
I know I’m not the only one that just has those nights. The one where you can’t be bothered; but the skincare gods like Hyram and That Welsh twin would die inside. So here are my two methods: 1: Shower cleanse- I’ve switched from my old shower bars and gel to more gentle and sensitive cleansers. So.. judge if you must, but I use my body soap on my face. GOOD MOLECULES - Hydrate Cleanse Bar * They are face and body soaps. 2. Last Resort- if I already showered and lied down; I keep my cotton rounds and DICKINSON'S - Dickinson's Enhanced Witch Hazel Alcohol Free Hydrating Toner and continue with heavy moisturizing ingredients afterwards. And Thank YOU FOR COMING TO MY TED TALK!
About 3 months ago I started to get really bad acne. So I tried to cut a lot of my routine and go with products that would help me with my hormonal acne. my doctor also prescribed me #Perrigo - Clindamycin Phosphate and Benzoyl Peroxide Gel 1.2%/5%[products]# . I just started this routine so I will have updates every month. Morning Routine: LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cleanser for my 2nd cleanser I switch it out for CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin ,ACNE FREE - Oil Free Acne Cleanser ,DHC - Deep Cleansing Oil then DICKINSON'S - Dickinson's Enhanced Witch Hazel Alcohol Free Hydrating Toner The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 HERITAGE STORE - Rosewater & Glycerin Atomizer DIFFERIN - Oil Absorbing Moisturizer SPF 30 MyChelle dermaceuticals - Sun Shield Stick SPF 50 Night Routine: LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cleanser CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin HERITAGE STORE - Rosewater & Glycerin Atomizer The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 #Perrigo - Clindamycin Phosphate and Benzoyl Peroxide Gel 1.2%/5%[products]# I switch out with DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil when I spot treat I useNATURE'S BOUNTY - Vitamin E-Oil, 30,000 IU The Ordinary - Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2%
5•26•20 ✨This mornings skin routine✨ 1. Cleanse: MARIO BADESCU - Glycolic Foaming Cleanser is a cleanser for ALL skin types & you typically only need to use 2-3x a week depending on your skin type. I have a combination skin type which may cause me to use 1-2x a week. No more than that! This leaves my face feeling super clean! • 2. Tone: DICKINSON'S - Energizing Astringentworks good for my skin; it’s not for everyone though. I find that some toners leave my skin feeling tight and dry but this one does not. • 3. Scrub: OLE HENRIKSEN - Transforming Walnut ScrubI only use a facial scrub once a week as it tends to dry out my skin too much and leaves it feeling irritable or causes a burning sensation; so I only use it once throughout the week & that does the trick! • 4. Serum:SEPHORA COLLECTION - Ultra Glow Serum: Glow + Strengthen Vitamin C Serum I LOVE LOVE LOVE this serum!!!! It gives my skin a glow like never before!! I will always use this product right before applying my moisturizer without a doubt. I would definitely recommend this product. • 5. Moisturize:Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Cream Lastly I applied my favorite moisturizer thus far! This stuff does not get rid of the glow my serum gives me after applying or give me a dull look as some moisturizer cream does. AMAZING stuff! Definitely purchase.
The first pictures are what my skin looks like after using the NOXZEMA - Ultimate Clear Daily Deep Pore Cleanser I’ve been using this product for a while now but haven’t seen a difference in my pores afterwards, so I decided to try something new. The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution At the moment my skin care routine includes NOXZEMA - Ultimate Clear Daily Deep Pore Cleanser AZTEC SECRET - Indian Healing Clay DICKINSON'S - Original Witch Hazel Pore Perfecting Toner CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin I use the AZTEC SECRET - Indian Healing Clay only once a week. I’m hoping that The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solutionwill help clear my skin up because the acne and scars are not looking to well and get really irritated. Fingers crossed 🤞🏾 🤗 I’ll be posting weekly to see if there’s any difference with my skin☺️.

T. N. Dickinson’s Witch Hazel
I love this witch hazel brand sooo very much. It doesn’t feel like it strips my skin of its natural oil. But definitely gives me a clean feeling after cleansing. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a type of toner that doesn’t strip but still gives a clean feeling. For the price of $4, it does its job.
