Review of my serums from subscription boxes
SPF Rx - Dual C + E + F Great daily serum, makes my skin glow! SUNDAY RILEY - C.E.O. Rapid Flash Brightening Serum Almost sunscreen-like texture and smell. Not super appealing but feels protecting! BYROE - Bell Pepper Serum Very hydating, but doesn’t seem like anything special. A bit hard to get it out of the applicator - and a little bit does not go a long way. 111SKIN - Cryo Atp Sports Booster Nice feeling, not sure how necessary of a product it is, especially since I rarely work out 😂 EARTH HARBOR - Luna Lei Phyto-Resurfacing Night Serum Feels a little tingly, which makes me think it’s doing something 😄 nice smell too. #The Dirty Lamb - Ultra Night Serum[products]#[FourStars] I add to my moisturizer for extra hydration, just 1 or 2 drops. A bit oily, didn’t enjoy on its own - made me break out. The applicator is also very drippy. #Delia Organics - Dew Drops Serum[products]#[ThreeStars] Again, kind of oily, especially for a day serum. I still use sometimes, though, mixed in with my day cream for a more refreshed look.

My Pores Disappeared BUT🧐
I received this serum from IPSY 3 months ago. I have gotten other high end serums from this but this one took the cake! 111SKIN - Cryo Atp Sports Booster This serum helped diminish my pores in less than a month It has: Niacinamide: powerhouse ingredient. It has been linked to a pore reducer. hyperpigmentation reducer, oil controller, skin barrier strengthener.. etc! It’s just amazing Yarrow: soothing ingredient for sensitive and irritated skin. It has even been shown to reduce acne scars ATP: yes this is the one we learned in bio. Adenosine Triphosphate. This gives energy to human cells. This in skincare also helps with pores and collagen production When I first opened this serum, it smelled great! It was marketed at first for “post workout” (but I don’t put anything on my face after I work out) Now it’s also branded as a “energy facial”. It has benefits of: energizing the skin improving pore appearance helps uneven skin texture While these ingredients and benefits are great, this product retails at 💰💰💰 $135! 🤨💰💰💰💰 I almost choked on my dinner when I saw the price of this serum 2 months ago. I couldn’t believe it. This stuff work but I’d have to get it on a super sale or in a box.

I tried celebrity 156$ mask!!!😍✨ Is it worth it?
I tried this expensive mask from @111skin 😍✨ and I have thoughts about it! 111SKIN - Rose Gold Brightening Facial Treatment Mask ✨What is it: The ultimate pre-event mask; this hydrogel formula infuses the skin with radiance boosting ingredients for a glowing complexion. It's not conventional paper sheet mask, it's actually made of hydrogel and that's what makes it special!!! Originally created as limited-edition item, this mask has grown into a global cult product and a staple in the 111SKIN collection. Containing 24k Gold and Damask Rose, this mask works both to illuminate and calm the skin for a party-ready glow. Used by supermodels, celebrities and influencers ✨ Benefts: ROSE: A botanical extract high in antioxidants which helps to protect the skin against external aggressors. Rose also soothes irritated skin and reinforces the skin’s moisture barrier to prevent dehydration GOLD EXTRACT: A mineral extract that brightens, evens skin tone, and improves circulation. ARGIRELINE: A hexapeptide and substrate of Botulinum Extract that inhibits muscle contraction to reduce wrinkles and fine lines. ✨My experience and thoughts: -Does it really work? YES!! It truly works! I used it before going to vacay with my husband and it kept my skin brighter, plumper and hydrated throughout the vacay! Initially when I used the mask, the night before my flight it didn't feel like it's any extraordinary mask. It definitely hydrated my skin and made it look plumper instantly but all the claims took about a day to really show on my skin. When I put it on, it started to tingle a bit in my mouth area but not the burning sensation. It was sort of plumping my skin. I could feed it around my lips and chin. When I removed the mask, my skin was way more plumper than before. I guess that's how celebrities and influencers love it as it truly preps your skin for the big event. But, I would definitely say it works amazing for the next few days. My skin was brighter and looked well-rested for couple of days after I used this!! -Is it really worth 156$? Well, I would say you get 5 sheet masks for that price. One package contains 5 so it's totally worth the price. Also, a huge DEAL!!!! 😍❤️☑️ On Amazon the pack of 5 masks is available for only 32$. And yes, it's Authentic!! You can get single sheet masks on Amazon for lesser price, 20$. 😍✨ I think it's such a great deal. If you have any big event or occasion coming up, GET THIS MASK! You may not feel anything great going on but it surely will make your skin look amazing under makeup!! What do you think of this mask?? Would you try it?? 🤩

This mask has GOLD in it?! | 👸🏻🌹😳
111SKIN - Rose Gold Brightening Facial Treatment Mask Subscription boxes are a great way to try products that you otherwise wouldn’t pick up. Especially products with a big price tag! I was so pleased to receive the 111Skin Rose Gold Brightening Masks in my September BoxyCharm Luxe box! These puppies retail at just over $200CAD for a set of five…not really something I’d typically purchase, especially on that tight corona budget, y’know? My first impressions: ✨ I’ve heard that celebrities love these masks and use them to prep for a red-carpet glow - I totally see this working. My skin was softer, brighter, and stayed dewy for the next few days after just one use. The only issue I had was a seemingly common one - it’s HUGE. Like seriously, I don’t think I can imagine a face that this would fit well on, lol. See the second photo to get an idea! ✨ This product contains rose, used to soothe irritated skin and help maintain moisture. I don’t usually love floral scents or major botanicals in my skincare, but there wasn’t a major rose-y scent and I did notice an improvement in my redness post-use. ✨ Gold extract helps to brighten your skin, evening your complexion and increasing circulation. Weird, right? This metal is an antioxidant and even has anti-inflammatory properties. I found that my under eye puffiness had gone down, likely thanks to this luxurious ingredient. ✨ 111Skin is cruelty free, something that can often be missed in luxury skincare. This brand has a seal of approval from Positive Luxury, identifying that it is a trusted brand with high standards of innovation and transparent environmental performance. It was really awesome to get to try this product out, as I mentioned before, since I wouldn’t normally invest in a $200 set of five face masks. I doubt that I’ll repurchase this anytime soon unless I spot it on sale, but not because I’m not into it - I’ve used two of them so far and am trying to choose wisely as to when I’ll open up the last few. Don’t wanna waste this solid gold opportunity! 🥇 Have you tried any luxury masks recently? Let me know what you think of this pricey concept below! 🤗

Hello hydration! A review of my moisturizers.
My skin type is dry, and I live in Southern California, where the air is often really dry. But, I think hydration is important, regardless of skin type. I try to emphasize hydration every day, and have used a few products that I thought I'd review. Let me know your thoughts! Day Time 111SKIN - Y Theorem Day Cream Light Nac Y2 My newest addition. Nice, medium-weight texture. Neutral smelll, feels hydrating. pūrlisse - Watermelon Aqua Balm Loved at first, before I had tried many other products. Has a nice watermelon smell. But the texture is definitely a little "balmy", and doesn't sink into your skin very quickly. it Cosmetics - Confidence in A Gel Lotion Weightless Moisturizer "Weightless" is definitely correct - The texture is super light and slight. Good for when you don't need anything too heavy, or if you don't have very dry skin. Day or Night AVEDA - Botanical kinetics hydrating lotion I've had a giant bottle of this for a while now. Great medium-weight, trusty moisturizer that I use when I run out of others or just want something that I know will work. Good for all skin types. Night Time LANEIGE - Water Bank Moisture Cream Heavier cream, almost lotion-like texture. Great for drier nights. dr botanicals - Pomegranate Superfood Regenerating Sleeping Mask Almost a lotion texture, but whipped up and aerated slightly. Nice smell and feeling. Label says to keep refrigerated for best results, use within 3 months, and use every few days. SUNDAY RILEY - Ice Ceramide Moisturizing Cream Not sure how I feel about this one. It looks like custard and smells like play-dough, but I've noticed that Sunday Riley products often have a bit of a smell, due to the ingredients and that SR doesn't use fragrance to cover it up (which is good!). I'm hesitant to use this cream all over my face, as its a bit thick and heavy. Instead, I use it more as an anti-wrinkle cream on my forehead. PureHeals - Ginseng Berry 80 Overnight Mask One of the only products I've repurchased. Great texture - almost gel-like, goes on easy but is still substantial and feels very hydrating. Smell is also great.

Summer 🏝 to Fall Skin Care Switch Up! 🍁
Hey Babes! As we transition from summer to fall, make sure your skin care routine changes too. ⠀ In the fall, as the weather changes, so will your skin care routine. Fall months are colder and less humid, so you need to adjust your skin care regimen accordingly. By switching your routine according to the season, you’re allowing your skin to function better by keeping your barrier healthy and protected. ⠀ Change your cleanser to more of a creamy or hydrating base. The air is already going to dry your skin out, so avoid using foam cleaners that strip your skin or even gel cleaners that are water based. The green tea cleanser helps keep my oily skin at bay and is never aggressive! ⠀ Opt in for using a rich moisturizer so your skin can lock in oils to keep your barrier protected. Ingredients like glycerin and ceramides are always winners. If you need barrier protection, turn to Vaseline or Aquaphor. I like using the Sunday Riley one because the vitamin c in it brightens my skin and protects from environmental damage. ⠀ Do not exfoliate as often. You’re still going to exfoliate weekly, but the dryer climate can strip your skin making it sensitized and exfoliating too often will make it worse. ⠀ Add an extra serum into your routine. Hyaluronic acid, retinol and vitamin c are always winners! It might sound crazy, but I feel a difference in my skins texture when I accidentally skip a serum and I instantly regret it. ⠀ As always, don’t skip the SPF! UV stays are still present and you do not want to age faster. Skin care is all about preventative maintenance. :) Some of these products are on the pricier side, but it’s worth the money to have a good, solid, regimen. They key is to use the right ingredients and product texture to gain the proper results. #cheriepartner #summertofall

My skin cabinet
Hey y’all This is my skin cabinet. As you can see it has a lot of samples from Ipsy and Sephora and only a few full sized products as I am new to skin care and I am trying out a lot of things to see what works for my skin. I wear a cpap mask and I have a hard time with pimples only under where I wear the mask. I am not acne prone but seem to get it only when I trap the oils. So far I love face masks and use them whenever I’m stressed out. The whole bottom shelf are different face masks I have tried and I have reviewed most on here. I am still learning about serums and oils so my middle row is a lot of products that will hydrate and moisturize my face. The top is mostly gentle cleansers. I rotate my use of these cleansers but my skin seems to love them all. My make up peg board is all tarte products that I bought full size. I love tarte because it matches my skin well and I don’t break out with continued use. I don’t wear make up a lot but still keep samples from Ipsy on the size in the buckets are lip samples, primer samples, and blushes. On the right in the cat vase are my brushes, mascaras, and liners. I am working through my samples right now and trying to see what I like so that hopefully in time I will buy full sized products for a routine that will work for my combination skin. I already know most acne geared skin care is too strong for my face and makes things worse. If anyone else has recommendations for maskne all would be appreciated.

WHAT?!? A $200 moisturizer??
Hey Babes 👋🏼, YES - you read that correct! A $200 moisturizer!! 😮 I’m fortunate that I didn’t need to spend $200 to get this moisturizer because it came in my Ipsy Ultimate Glam Bag! 👏🏻 I was excited to try this because if the price point and it’s a well known brand. What did I think of it? ⬇️⬇️ If you’re going to spend that much on a beauty product, it better deliver - right? 🤔 I’ve been using this on and off the last couple months, and I think you can the same results using a $30 or $65 moisturizer. I have oily skin and this hydra gel leaves me with oilier skin when I wake up. It does have a nice lightweight texture and absorbs into the skin fast. It’s not oil free and contains some castor oil and sweet almond oil. It does leave your skin soft and hydrated since it has some aloe Vera and hyraluronic acid, but those are common ingredients found in many skin care products. Luckily, This product hasn’t irritated my skin or caused breakouts, but I would not buy this product again. 👎🏻 If you feel like splurging and what to give this a try, go for it! But I say save $200 on this 45 ml moisturizer and get a few other skin care products for the same combined price ;) 111SKIN - Cryo Activating Hydra Gel Xoxo, Blyssey #cheriecreator #moisturizer #111skin

Empty! 111Skin Cryo Activating Hydra Gel
111SKIN - Cryo Activating Hydra Gel *skin is normally oily/combo but has been dry recently Another lil Ipsy empty! Sometimes Ipsy sends me something from a brand that I’ve never heard of and have no opinion on and I just decide to use it to get rid of it. Sometimes I actually like the product they send me. This is one of those. This is a Cryo Activating Hydra Gel. Please nobody ask me what that means because I do not know and would love for someone to explain it. All I do know is that this is a pretty decent moisturizer. While the product name says it’s a gel, it’s really more of a cream moisturizer. I’ve already mentioned that I’m not really drawn to cream moisturizers and I was surprised when I used this first that it wasn’t more of a gel. That being said, it’s not a very thick cream and does apply more like a gel when you start to rub it in. No greasy residues thankfully! I would probably prefer it if it were more a gel like it claims to be. Unrelated to the product specifically but I kind of found the packaging hard to squeeze out especially near the end. I believe the full size comes in a pot and I’ve already expressed my dislike for any product in a pot so that’s a no go for me. I found this super moisturizing and lightweight and it mixed well with lots of different products. I do think this brand is pretty pricey, and the full size of this is upwards of $200 I believe. Needless to say, I definitely didn’t like this that much. I wouldn’t spend that much on any moisturizer and definitely not this. If it were more like $30 I’d consider repurchasing.

111SKIN Rose Gold Brightening Mask
111SKIN Rose Gold Brightening Mask
111SKIN - Rose Gold Brightening Facial Treatment Mask is a nice facial mask! I got this in a Fab Fit Fun box and have used a few times in the past year or so. The masks are a little big for my face but overall stay on pretty well. The mask is very moisturizing. As i take the mask out of the package, the liquid is already dripping off. When i take this mask off, i tend to rub in the rest of the product left behind into my face and my skin does feel great after! Contains 24k gold and Damask rose. This mask is supposed to brighten your face, help with inflammation, moisturize the skin.. and many other benefits! My skin does feel very nice after using, but i rate this 3 stars mainly due to the price. A 5 pack of these is retailed at $135 🥴. I notice my skin is moisturized after, but i would NOT pay $135 for 5 facial masks. To me, this product is not worth the cost. I have used other facial masks for much cheaper and have seen much better results. But being i got these in my fab fit fun box, i do like to use them when i feel i could use a little pick me up! If you can try these for cheap, definitely do so! Otherwise, spend $135 elsewhere!
