Skin Journey Progress
I still have some acne here and there, but overall my skin has been more clear. My freckles are lightening, partly because it’s fall, and partly because of the vitamin c serum, and the AHA/BHA serum. I do have larger pores, but some of the “pores” it shows are freckles. I don’t love the dark circles. I have a new eye cream to try once I’m finished up the one I have. I think the wrinkles and fine lines look good. I’m 39, so I’m not expecting miracles. I’m integrating the EARTH HARBOR - SIREN SILK Multi-Tasking Hydration Cremeinto my routine. I’m using it on days where I don’t use the daily resurfacing peel from Beauty Counter, since the siren silk has sea retinol. This is my first experience with any type of retinol, so I’m excited to see how my skin does. I think it’s purging a bit right now since I have some extra pimples on my cheeks. The second photo is me with light coverage makeup. Don’t mind my hair in that photo. I was just letting it air dry. My current routine: Rocky Mountain Soap Co - Transformative Cleansing Oil Beauty Counter Coco Cream Cleanser Rocky Mountain Soap Co - Pomegranate Day Cream Beauty Counter Vitamin C serum Rocky Mountain Soap Co - Pomegranate Day Cream (Daytime, or at night when using the AHA/BHA resurfacing peel) Mad Hippie - Facial SPF, 30+ UVA/UVB Broad-Spectrum Sunscreen EARTH HARBOR - SIREN SILK Multi-Tasking Hydration Creme(on none resurfacing peel days) grace & stella - Hyaluronic Acid Serum (on none resurfacing peel days) Feedback on my routine is welcome!

Skin Journey & my updated routine
My acne is diminishing, though, like most people, I’ve been dealing with maskne. But the acne on my forehead is better. I’m noticing that my freckles are lighter too. I do have large pores, but the app seems to think my freckles are pores. My biggest concern right now is dryness and texture, especially as we get into winter. I’m noticing my skin is not as moisturized as I’d like and it looks a little rough. I’ve recently switched my moisturizer back to something more hydrating. My current routine AM- Wash face with water Toner - LUSH - Eau Roma Water I’ve used this before and it is a nice toner, but not the cleanest. Once it’s out, I’ll use something else, but it is hydrating. Beauty Counter vitamin c serum- seems to work great. Rocky Mountain Soap Co - Pomegranate Day Cream - I just switched back to this from a lighter day cream. I really need the moisture and this is a wonderful day cream. Rocky Mountain Soap Co - Beech Tree Bud Eyes Cream - I love this eye cream but I think I’m open to trying something else in the future. My fine lines around my eyes seem to be progressing more than I’d like. Mad Hippie - Facial SPF, 30+ UVA/UVB Broad-Spectrum Sunscreen Smells amazing and has a great rating on Think Dirty. It is a little heavy but my face likes the hydration. PM- Double cleanse with Rocky Mountain Soap Co - Transformative Cleansing Oil Beauty Counter’s Clear Pore Cleanser- really nice pore cleanser that doesn’t strip my skin and the little jojoba beads feel great. I’m going to be trying a more hydrating cleanser when this is empty but I highly recommend it for oily or combination skin. Toner- LUSH - Eau Roma Water Every second night- the Beauty Counter overnight resurfacing peel- amazing product! Very gentle and I see the difference right away. Last, I mix the grace & stella - Hyaluronic Acid Serum with my moisturizer (above). I also use beauty counter’s charcoal mask 1-2 times a week and as a spot treatment for acne. Eye cream again! I’m also interested in finding a good sleeping mask or night cream. Let me know if you have suggestions!

Rose Mist- grace & stella
This product I originally began using just because it “felt good” when I would spray it. I ran out of my moisturizer and have yet went to get more so I decided to try this to see if it could moisturize my skin until the meantime! R E V I E W: I really like this product. It does moisturize your skin although I’d still use an actual moisturizer and not just this on your skin. It smells good and isn’t too overpowering in my opinion! grace & stella - Rose water facial mist

The BEST Skincare Routine for College Students!!
This is my morning skincare routine! I don’t usually wear makeup to class, so I love for my skincare to make me look as radiant and glowy as possible. I have pretty normal skin that does get a little dry sometimes, especially in the winter. My main goals I want to achieve in my routine are hydration and GLOW. When I wake up for my 8 AM (usually around 6:30 AM), I start by swiping Thayer’s rosewater toner all over my face. Side note, I highly recommend investing in some reusable cotton rounds. You can get them on Amazon! Super easy to use and wash, and they work just as well as disposable cotton rounds. I find that this toner really helps wake me up and makes my skin feel refreshed. While I wait for this to soak in, I apply my Inkey List caffeine eye cream. I absolutely love this cream because it has a cool metal tip applicator which feels amazing on my puffy eyes in the morning. The cream itself is an iridescent white color, which helps brighten the undereye area better than any other product I’ve used. After this step, I apply my Ole Henriksen Truth Serum. I have tried many Vitamin C and antioxidant serums, and this one is by far my favorite. It is not sticky at all and absorbs very quickly into my skin. I never have any issues with layering it with other skincare. Then I apply my Tatcha Water Cream moisturizer! I believe that it is totally worth the hype. It goes on so light, yet leaves my skin actually looking so dewy and glowy! I finish off with some kind of facial spray. The one I currently have is Grace & Stella Rosewater Spray. Honestly I’m not actually sure if facial sprays/mists have any real effect on my skin, but it feels refreshing and gives my skincare routine a nice ending!!THAYERS - Witch Hazel Astringent THE inkey LIST - Brighten-i Eye Cream TATCHA - The Water Cream grace & stella - Rose water facial mist

four tips for dealing with acne prone skin ✨💆
1. WASH YOUR FACE TWICE A DAY! i know it might sound dumb but seriously, making sure that you wash your face in the morning and before you go to sleep, will help to get rid of excess oil that can cause acne. but, if you have very sensitive skin, MAKE SURE that are you being very gentle when cleansing your face and that you are using products that won’t cause any breakouts and won’t irritate your skin. 2. USE A SPOT TREATMENT!! my personal favorite spot treatment is TULA SKINCARE - Go Away Acne Spot Treatment. it is very gentle on my skin and honestly the results are AWESOME! i seriously do see a different when using this spot treatment. this product has benzoyl peroxide plus tea tree oil and probiotics. the probiotics can smoothen your face as well as the tea tree oil. 3. EXFOLIATE!! 👏 exfoliating is one of my favorite things to do because the results are amazingggg! my skin is so soft after i exfoliate. it can also help my acne prone skin too! it helps to remove any excess dead skin cells that can clog your pores and lead to breakouts. having a buildup of dead cells on your face may also make your skin look dull, flaky, or prematurely aged. my favorite product to exfoliate with is Body Merry - Glycolic Acid Exfoliating Cleanserbecause it really does help when my face is rly dry and it delivers incredible results. while a combination of kojic acid, rosehip oil, olive oil and tea tree oils works to clear out your pores, the glycolic acid in the cleanser removes the dead layer of skin on the surface of your face. the jojoba oils in this cleanser also give it plenty of moisturizing power to rehydrate severely dry skin. LOVE LOVE LOVEEEE!! 4. FACE MASKS! 🤩 face masks are WONDERFUL but you have to make sure you get ones that aren’t going to damage your skin further! avoid getting face masks that have tons of fragrances and chemicals as these can really not be good for your skin. these are some of my favorite face masks to use that can help my acne prone skin: AZTEC SECRET - Indian Healing ClaySOOO this product has a ton of hype around it and i’m sure you’ve heard of it before. this mask is very strong so if you have really sensitive skin i do NOT recommend it for you. for me, this mask has helped me see some results in my acne and it’s always a fun experience. you have to mix the clay with apple cider vinegar to form a paste that you then spread across your face as you would with a regular clay mask. grace & stella - Acne Treatment Facial Sheet Masksi loveeee these masks and i have probably seen the most results from these masks! it has salicylic acid along with other acne fighting ingredients! GLAMGLOW - SUPERMUD Clearing Treatment Maskthis mud mask works wonders for my skin! it helps to remove blemishes and pesky pimples with it’s bled of 6 acids that GET THE JOB DONE! i hope these tips helped!!! ❤️

My favorite investment ✨
My favorite investment ✨
So I bought this Rose Quartz Facial Massager for my birthday and it has changed my life.I either use it to de stress myself after a long day after I apply my serum or random times throughout my day if I’m bored at home.It also helps the serum to absorb into my skin. Sometimes I put it in my freezer for a few minutes so that it can refresh and de puff my skin (especially my under eyes).

It’s like a pore strip but for your whole face!
It’s like a pore strip but for your whole face!
I’ve become obsessed with this Grace and Stella blackhead removal peel off mask! It’s like a black gooey texture that you apply to your face, it doesn’t have a strong scent, so it’s easy to manage having on for more than a couple minutes, and once it’s “dried” it’s fun to peel it off your face! Don’t get me wrong, if a baby hair gets stuck in it, or some thicker than normal peach fuzz, it can be slightly painful peeling it off. But in the end you’re left with cleaner looking pores, so it’s all worth it. I only recently bought this product over the summer, prior to this I had a random K-beauty one that I found on Amazon and left for my old roommates, so I needed a new one, and I like a few of Grace and Stella’s other products, so I thought I’d give it a try, and it’s worked great ever since! I think it’s even better than those pore strips from the drugstore. It’s a pretty big tube, for only $20, and Grace and Stella often have deals or sales going on, so it could be even more affordable at times.

Got my hands on this Dead Sea
Got my hands on this Dead Sea Mud Mask from Grace & Stella & my first impression is good! I wanted to try it since I don’t have any mud masks & because it can be used it all over the body. 👏🏾 I felt like I was at a spa treatment when I used this. I left it on for the 15 mins, as suggested, & my skin felt smoother afterwards. It wasn’t super hydrating but it didn’t leave my face dry or tight. 💯 Since it can be used to help clear acne, I’m going to use it on my chest next time too. I breakout there pretty regularly. Hopefully this will help. 👍🏾

Minty Fresh Blackhead Mask 🍃
Minty Fresh Blackhead Mask 🍃
I got this in an Ipsy bag last month and tried it for the first time a couple weeks ago and fell in love! I was surprised when I first put it on because it was minty but that’s not an issue for me because I love mint. 💚 Most peel off masks that I’ve tried sting like crazy but this doesn’t do that. In fact, the mint makes it refreshing and makes me want to leave it on longer than I normally would. It does a pretty good job at removing blackheads but you have to make sure it’s completely dry or else it’s really hard to get off.
