Papaya enzymes be giving me ✨gLaSs sKiN✨🥺✌🏻
SKIN TYPE: Always dry and sensitive due to eczema, highly allergic to dust, pollen and some fragrances😔✌🏻. Around every 2 weeks or so I get eczema flare ups using Novasone (prescribed steroid ointment) to relieve it. GLOW RECIPE - Papaya Sorbet Smoothing Enzyme Cleansing Balm Personally, it’s a 3.75 out of 5 due to how pricey it is ($51AUD) and the main concern for people being that it leaves residue/oily film. It has its pros and cons but I think the pros outweigh the cons if you’re willing to spend for glowing, glass skin vibes. Glow Recipe claims to “Gently slough away dead skin... remove makeup, dirt and oil... softens the skin while delivering on hydration”, and sis is delivering. Eczema means a lot of dead skin and sebum build-up giving me a lot of milia bumps, especially the flaking skin from dry patches when you attempt to exfoliate while trying not to piss it off making it angry and inflamed; this for dry skin types was perfect as a gentle oil based cleanser. While I did try using this with light and medium heavy makeup on, I found that using a lot of product to remove heavier makeup left a film residue on the skin, with warm water rinsing not completely removing the feeling of something on my face. For this I use The ORCHID Skin - Cleansing Sponge ($5AUD) as a daily gentle physical exfoliant to remove the remaining residue/makeup. This combination of oil cleanser and facial sponge exfoliation surprisingly doesn’t irritate my eczema skin thus I use this daily cleanse once in the mornings and double cleansing at night. After 1 month of daily use I saw visible effects in which there was a decrease in bumps and pimples but it was a gradual change over continuous/consistent use. I take a small amount (the surface area of pinky nail) on each cheek and massage it in on my dampened face for ~1-2minutes then rinsing off and dried with a facial sponge. My skincare routine consists of: Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Gelée Milk Cleanser & GLOW RECIPE - Papaya Sorbet Smoothing Enzyme Cleansing Balm Avène - Hydrance AQUA-GEL & Avène - Cicalfate Restorative Skin Cream For anti-itching and soothing when the skin gets fucked LA ROCHE-POSAY - Cicaplast Baume B5 Soothing Repairing Balm or Avène - Skin Recovery Cream (only lasts ~2months using daily hence 4stars). THE VERDICT: Defo will be repurchasing due to how effective this Papaya cleansing balm has been for my skin in gently exfoliating, not drying or irritating at all for an eczema-sensitive, acne-prone skin type as well as they say it is made without fragrance but it still smells faintly of papayas🥰. HOWEVER, this is fucking expensive, there’s deffo cheaper alternatives such asheimish - Heimish All Clean Balm orThen I met you - Living Cleansing Balm I’m still repurchasing tho😔✌🏻

Sorry that I haven’t posted in a while! School started for me so I have lots and lots of assignments. Currently my skin gotten a bit better, even though it looks like this. The Cerave moisturizer is perhaps not that bad. I think the reason why my skin reacted to the moisturizer like that was I first add my hyaluronic acid and then I added the moisturizer. Any recommendations? Night: - heimish cleansing balm heimish - Heimish All Clean Balm - cerave sa renewing cleanser CeraVe - Salicylic Acid Facial Cleanser CeraVe - Salicylic Acid Facial Cleanser - Clinique acne clay mask ( only when I get break outs ) CLINIQUE - Acne Solutions Oil Controlling Cleansing Mask - cerave moisturizer CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin Please rate my routine and perhaps give me some recommendations please and thank you!!🙏🏻 My skin type is dry however is acne prone.

“You smell like an old lady.” - the boyfriend
//review copied from my Instagram. Starting off my series of reviews with a #watershot and a wee-bit of texture (yes, there is some!) for #texturetuesday. Today’s review will be the product I liked the least; heimish - Black Tea Mask Pack * ⠀⠀ One of the main characteristics that they claim to be a pro is ‘Perfume Therapy’. My goodness, they claim that a strong perfume smell will leave your skin feeling refreshed. They claim it’s great for all skin types, specifically those with sensitive skin. I have sensitive skin (not sensitized, but sensitive) and this product left my face slightly red—presumably from the obnoxious fragrance. Let me throw a quick quote from my boyfriend who was standing a few feet away, “I can smell it from here. You smell like an old lady.” ⠀⠀ Cooling, immediate pore shrinkage, reduce in swelling, and strengthening elasticity are all claims of this product. I did give this mask a fair chance by using it multiple times and I can conclude that, while it is cooling, it definitely does not ‘immediately’ shrink pores. As a matter of fact, I don’t think I saw any pore shrinkage. I must say, though, this mask was very hydrating, to my surprise. ⠀⠀ This product has a creamy soft texture to it. I enjoyed applying it because it was just so darn smooth. Washing it off was an ease as well, which I was a fan of. Messy masks are never good, especially in the mornings, like this mask is recommended for. It’s supposed to be effective at reducing morning puffiness and fatigue but I’m not convinced. ⠀⠀ I appreciate the opportunity to try this product and, while I cannot recommend it to those with sensitive skin, I should remind you that everyone reacts differently to products. If you’re an avid fan of Heimish products, have an interest in this product, or even want to try it—then do! ⠀⠀ *gifted

Why you should be multi-masking!
Multi-masking is the practice of using more than one type of face mask at one time to treat different areas of the face with appropriate products and help different skin concerns. Regardless of whether you’ve got dry, normal, combo or oily skin, have sensitive skin or are acne prone some areas of your face will need a deeper clean (hello pores on the nose!) and some will need a much gentler approach (the skin around your eyes is much thinner than the rest of your face and has no oil glands so is always drier). By multi-masking you can make sure you’re giving these different areas of your face the love and care they need without accidentally doing more damage than good by over stripping sensitive areas which can cause irritation or even breakouts. After cleansing to remove any products from my face along with any oils and dirt from the day I pat my face dry and apply the masks I’ve chosen to use to suit my usual skin concerns which are tired under eyes, mild sebum congestion on my nose and dull, dehydrated skin in general. In this photo I’m using three different masks: heimish - Hydrogel Eye Patch, Bulgarian Rose Water to soothe and hydrate the sensitive under eye area. I love these patches, they’re beautifully soft and cooling on the under eyes and leave a lot of serum after use which can then be patted into the skin for extra hydration. LANEIGE - LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask to deeply hydrate lips after doing a lip scrub to buff away dry skin. This popular lip mask is so smooth and creamy feeling on your lips and leaves them feeling soft and hydrated the next day. After removing the other masks this one is left on overnight to work it’s magic while you’re sleeping. alkira - Mineral Radiance Facial Masque on the rest of my face to purify, brighten and hydrate my skin. If you have oily skin you may prefer a more intensive mask on your t-zone then a gentler mask like this on your cheeks but for my dry slightly sensitive skin this mask works perfectly all over as it contains clay to detox skin, multiple forms of natural vitamin c to brighten skin then a mix of avocado oil, sunflower oil, mango extract and aloe vera to hydrate all at the same time. This mask is gentle and my skin looks glowing immediately after use. After washing off the clay mask and removing the gel patches and patting in the excess serum I follow up with YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask to hydrate all over and seal in the moisture provided by the other masks. Regardless of which masks I use prior this hydration step is always part of my masking routine but it is particularly important if you’ve been using more intense detoxing/purifying type masks which will draw a lot of moisture out of your skin and can leave you dehydrated if you don’t rehydrate your skin afterwards. Do you guys multi-mask and what are your favourite masks to use? 💕

One of my favorite gel cleansers
My criteria for a cleanser isn’t really that long. All I look for usually is anything that cleanses my skin well but doesn’t strip it. I’m not looking for any strong actives in my cleanser. That’s exactly what you’ll get with the heimish - All Clean Green Foam, Cleanser . This is a slightly acidic but gentle everyday gel cleanser that all skin types can utilize at a price range of 6-12$ depending on where you buy it. I tried a small travel tube of this cleanser a while back, and loved it so much that I had to get the bigger size. This has a thick gel texture that isn’t runny but creates a great foam lather with the more water you add. This also has a fairly small ingredients list that contains key ingredients like glycerin, centella asiatica, and witch hazel to clarify, hydrate, and soothe your skin. This cleanser uses potassium laureth phosphate which is an emulsifier and surfactant in the formula to give you that foaming action. It’s similar to sodium laureth sulfate but gentler. I find this cleanser to be an alternative to the cosrx low ph good morning gel cleanser that I found overtime, was causing my skin to dry out when I used it everyday. The heimish one gives you a great cleanse but keeps your moisture barrier intact. This doesn’t contain any added fragrance but it does have an astringent like smell. It didn’t bother me really though. This hasn’t dried out my skin or caused any irritations or breakouts. Overall, this is an affordable but pretty basic no frills gentle cleanser that anyone would enjoy having in their routine. It does it’s job, and that’s all you really can ask from a cleanser. Have you guys tried this yet? If so, what are your thoughts? Rating: 4/5 🌟 #CherieCreator #Heimish

Thanking all deities the fragrance is subtle🌹
//copied from my Instagram. Finishing my series of reviews with the product I have been enjoying the most: heimish - Bulgarian Rose Satin Cream *. ⠀⠀ Made for all skin types, including sensitive skin, this product is said to help those with rough, dry skin. Additionally claims to help with wrinkle improvement and whitening. ⠀⠀ I have been enjoying this a lot because it leaves my skin feeling super smooth—like I had just used a primer. The smoothness can possibly be attributed to the silicones in this (I think they’re like ingredients 5 and 7 with another lower in the list?). The texture is a bit misleading, though. It looks super soft, creamy, and fluffy. But it is actually rich and thick and it feels heavy on the skin; sounds like it’ll be a great product to lock in moisture throughout the night, right? Well, it doesn’t. My face feels great immediately after applying this but when I wake up in the morning, my face feels dry and tight. I will give it the benefit of the doubt that it’s because my heat is running 24/7 right now; so, this cream may suit those in warmer, more humid climates. Thankfully it is fast-absorbing and does not leave my skin feeling/looking greasy. As for the brightening and wrinkle improvement? I have seen nothing so far. ⠀⠀ It is fragranced (last ingredient on the list) and thank all deities that it is very subtle! Like mentioned in a previous review, I have sensitive skin, and this does not cause any problems for me. ⠀⠀ *gifted

I was hoping to do shelfie tod
I was hoping to do shelfie today but ran out of time and just feeling very relaxed, so thought I would put pic up of my little area. Items I am using a lot or testing out. I have been using the heimish All Clean Balm as my Green Clean ran out and it’s actually quite good! It removes all my makeup and my waterproof mascara. It’s also quite well priced and lasts quite a while. I might keep on having this in rotation with Green Clean.

The Heimish Eye Gel Masks are
The Heimish Eye Gel Masks are a staple for those days I really want to pamper myself. I discovered them on Instagram and decided to try them out myself. They are the perfect shade of pink with a little sparkle and have a cooling, gel patch consistency. They feel instantly cooling, especially when chilled in the fridge. I highly recommend them because not only are they gorgeous, feel amazing and excellent at hydrating and depuffing the under eyes - but they are SO affordable at less than $15 for the entire tub of gel masks. These are suitable for all skin types.

This cleansing balm is a great addition to my double cleansing routine. It doesn’t burn my eyes nor leave my vision blurry. It melts off absolutely everything, makeup, SPF, waterproof products. The only downside is the very potent scent. If you are sensitive to smells, definitely stay away from this product and this brand.
