The Good and not so good Necessaire
To save your coins from the Necessaire brand their body scrub and body wash are great especially to keep your skin buttery soft. The rest left much to be desired. I felt the body lotion and serum for the price points didn’t leave impact to the skin. I tried them in a variety of combos but both left me dry and ashy 😔.

Body + Lip Products for the Winter
Since it’s been getting colder, my skin has been craving a lot more moisture. Here’s what I’ve been trying recently, with my honest reviews. I am unemployed because of COVID, so price is something I’m very conscious of. I’m only repeat-buying products that work and are worth the price! JOSIE MARAN - Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter Vanilla Apricot This is my must-have in the winter for dry skin. It’s extremely hydrating, a little goes a long way, the pot lasts forever, and it’s one of my all time favorite scents. I received this as a gift last year but liked it so much that I’ve continued to buy it ever since! Josie Maran is expensive, so I might recommend adding this product to a Christmas wish list for the first try if you’re curious and on a budget. philosophy - Fresh Cream Body Lotion I love this for every day use. The scent is very warm, which I love for winter, and lingers for most of the day but isn’t overpowering! Not cheap but affordable, and it hits all the marks for a great lotion. Nécessaire - The Body Lotion A new purchase which I bought because of the vitamins it contains, and, honestly, all the hype surrounding it. It’s unscented, the consistency is GREAT, and it absorbs well. But although it’s around the same price as philosophy lotions, the fact that it’s unscented makes me want to reach for tried-and-true, cheaper lotions from brands like CeraVe. The ingredients so far have not caused any noticeable changes in my skin so I probably won’t buy this for myself again even though I love how smoothly it goes on. BURT’S BEES - Almond & Milk Hand Cream A great drugstore buy that WORKS. It’s slightly more heavy duty than my other hand creams and melts into the skin well. Plus I love the scent, it reminds me of marzipan/almond paste. fresh - Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment First of all, this chapstick is super expensive. I’m so scared of losing it that it never leaves my house. But with that being said, it really is an amazing chapstick. If I use this once in the morning and once at night, I don’t really need to think about my lips for the rest of the day. Awake - Lip Therapy Lip Mask I received this as a sample and it’s....it’s really good, okay. This is the product that got me into lip masks. It works and it smells great. Even after trying other brands, this one’s still my favorite. And it’s a couple dollars cheaper than other lip masks on the market!

THE BEST NATURAL DEOS IVE EVER TRIED!
Natural deodorants are SO tough to shop for. They all claim to keep the stink away and last you all day, but do they actually work? I have been through SO many natural deos that I was getting very discouraged that I wouldn’t ever find one that worked, without weird side effects. I’ve had problems with them staining my clothes, burning my arm pits, and just plain smelling BAD. These two are the best that I have ever tried! Let’s find out which is for you! I want to start by saying my under arms are incredibly sensitive. Most deos burn my skin. They also tend to get stinky and sweaty within an hour if I forget deo. Both of these deodorants are marketed to be free of the bad ingredients like aluminum, parabens, and other harmful ingredients. They are meant for anyone, with any skin type, that needs to protect their underarms from odor. The Necessaire deo currently comes in the eucalyptus scent only. This isn’t my favorite smell in the world, but it definitely masks odor. I do find the scent a bit overpowering for my preference. Whereas the drunk elephant deo comes out initially smelling of almonds and the scent quickly disappears. I didn’t think I would like an unscented deo, but I love it! The textures of each of these deos is very different! The Necessaire one is a tad more thick and almost paste-like. The DE deodorant is very creamy and spreads on clear! This is a huge selling point for me, as I cannot stand white paste being in my arm pits. The DE one completely absorbs, too! The last difference, that was a complete game changer for me was that one of these BURNS when my skin is sensitive after shaving. I find that the Necessaire one burns and tingles on sensitive skin and that the DE deo is super soothing. If you have more sensitive of arm pits, I would opt for the DE deo! If you more so need a stronger scent to mask your odor, you should go for the Necessaire deo! These are still both the “best of the best” that I have found. They both WORK and I will probably always keep both around for specific uses. I highly recommend them. Nécessaire - The Deodorant Eucalyptus DRUNK ELEPHANT - Sweet Pitti Deodorant Cream

Winter Hydration Saviors! Affordable Body Care
With winter fast approaching, those of us with dry skin can begin getting weary of the cold and harsh weather that wreaks havoc on our dermis with chapping, burning, flaking...it’s not fun, you get it. Because of my super delicate body skin, I like to layer hydration which can not only get costly but sometimes feel slimy. Enter, Flamingo body products! First up is theflamingo - Light Hydrating Spray which I’m in love with. It’s a mix between something like evian and a lotion, that sprays on skin with ease. I rub it in after like a spray sunscreen and my skin already feels hydrated and ready for the day. I could stop here as the hydration lasts until the next day (even sleeping through it!). It does have fragrance, but it doesn’t irritate my dermatitis and eczema prone skin. A little goes a long way, but i’m interested in seeing how long this will last using almost every day. But, at ten dollars it’s definitely worth it! My next favorite is the flamingo - flamingo Deep Nourishing Cream which is a creamy pudding texture. A little goes a long way, and it doesn’t smell like much. I like to layer it on top of the damp mist on areas that are super dry, like my legs, elbows/knees, and upper arms. It keeps them soft and hydrated throughout the day with squalane and shea, but doesn’t leave me sticky or slimy, just soft and smooth. You get quite a lot in the tub, and I use a quarter size for each leg. With clean skin brightening and hydrating ingredients, this is a 10$ steal! Last but not least is flamingo - flamingo Daily Moisturizing Lotion which is perfect for using alone or on top of the mist for warmer days where you still want hydration. It has the same scent as the mist, earthy and floral with hints of base notes, and lightly hydrates with squalane to last the day while not being overwhelming in warmer climates and melting off. I love the lack of stickiness. Bonus, with this product you don’t need a perfume as it smells lovely on. Only 8$, it’s really worth it to try. I love that these products are all gently brightening with papaya extract (one of my fav brightening ingredients!) but balance it nicely with the mix of hydrating squalane oil. These products don’t make me itch or breakout which is a huge deal for me, as my skin is super sensitive. I look forward to continuing to use them throughout the winter for soft and smooth skin! It reminds me of Nécessaire - The Body Collection (sans the scrub and body wash, maybe flamingo will make those next!) but more affordable for a wider range of budgets. They also come in a bundle, all of these products for just 25$! Available at target too 😍 as well as online Thank you @cheriefor supplying, these products are gorgeous and I will be using them for the foreseeable future. Do you think you’ll try them out?

SIMPLY THE BEST!❤️💪🏻
SIMPLY THE BEST!❤️💪🏻
I am not the one for body lotions or serums as I’ve found for men body hair always gets in the way, but of course they have been necessary these days with all our “added” sanitation practices! So once my husband told me about this product I instantly had to try it! And it instantly become nécessaire!...ha see what I did there... I’m always scared when I pump out a serum that I pumped too much but it doesn’t matter with this product, no sir! Not only did everything absorb super quickly but there was literally no trace of any residue on my body hairs which I found very impressive. Everything about this product was spot on with it being fragrance free, streak free, shine free and everything inbetween...now only if it was free free since we just ran out! 😭🤣 Nécessaire - The Body Serum

hyped but no.... necessaire body serum
hyped but no.... necessaire body serum
Oh I wish I loved this! I will say... it’s good. But it’s not as great as I wanted it to be, unfortunately. Nécessaire - The Body Serum Product claims: — multi hydration treatment for skin health — hydrate, replenish, plump Key Ingredients: — hyaluronic acid — vitamin B3 — vitamin B5 — ceramide NP My overall thoughts — I love that this is fragrance free! It makes it suitable for all skin types regardless of sensitivity. — I also love the sleek packaging, the pump top dispenser, and how easily product is released. — the serum itself is a milky white, a tad bit tacky, and provides enough hydration for 2-3 hours without a body moisturizer, and up to 12 hours with the necessaire body lotion! — overall, I’m not impressed by this for the price ($45) but I got this as a gift with purchase so I’m not too upset. I do not think it’s a necessity, and I will not be repurchasing!

Necessaire Body Lotion
Necessaire Body Lotion
Having seen Necessaire several times on Instagram and on my favorite skincare blogs, I was tempted to make a purchase. The Body Lotion is wonderfully photogenic and 6.8 fl oz for $25 is a steal for a luxury brand. Like past reviewers, I did notice how the creamy texture thins out to a nearly undetectable sheerness which can make it seem like the lotion isn’t doing its job. But as I went about my day, I noticed that my skin didn’t feel dry or parched, and I appreciated how weightless the lotion felt on my skin. For me, the moisture lasted for a few hours but this is nothing compared to tried and true Aveeno or CeraVe. Regardless, Necessaire is a lovely brand, and the formulation of their Body Lotion (full of vitamins and peptides) is definitely something to try out if you’re in the market for something new!

My Favorite Unscented Body Wash
My Favorite Unscented Body Wash
This Nécessaire - The Body Wash is truly amazing for sensitive skin. I use it when my skin just needs a break from fragrances, and it does a beautiful job. It turns from an oil into foam once it makes contact with water. It is gentle enough to use in the most sensitive areas, and doesn’t leave my skin feeling stripped. The price tag is a bit high, but Necessaire is always having good sales which is how I afforded this. I wouldn’t buy it full price personally, but if it’s on sale, I 1000% recommend it! 💕

A clean beauty line for your body
A clean beauty line for your body
I’ve been focusing a lot on self care and self love recently. Interestingly, I won the Necessaire line in a giveaway recently. I’ve only ever heard wonderful things about this entire line and on trying them all out, I totally get why. Necessaire is amazing! They focus on personal care products for your body that not only promote cleanliness and health, but also well being in a luxurious setup. I can firmly say that each of these products are amazing. They felt wonderful and work great! I also love that they use a 100% recyclable packaging and work only with FSC-certified vendors. Honestly haven’t tried a single product of their I didn’t love.
