Beauty Escape Cosmetics 'Stranger Things' Collection ($7 each) These eyeshadows are so beautiful that my heart stopped when I did these swatches. These stunners are none other than the beautyescape Stranger Things collection and they're fucking stunning. The collection includes 5 eyeshadows that are $7 each. Okay. First things first. I did these swatches diagonally. The second pic is labelled. ⚡Friends Don't Lie is a soft black satin that can be used to intensity duochromes. It's probably my favorite black ever. It has just a hint of sheen, allowing it to blend flawlessly, but it's not at all shimmery. I'm crazy about satin finishes. They're so much more forgiving and user friendly than regular mattes. . ⚡ The Upside Down is a soft blue that shifts gray, teal, lavender and pink ⚡Eleven has an apricot base with that shifts orange, pink and peach. It also has a gold iridescence that shifts green. ⚡Thessalhydra is a bold emerald green with a deep bronze flip and lots of shimmer . ⚡Demogorgan has a plum base with teal shimmer. It shifts purple, magenta, blue and green. You can see the green best in the fourth pic.

How gorgeous are these beauty escape pigments?? Isn't it the best when you do some organizing and come across old favorites nearly forgotten?? That's how I feel about these guys. They're loose pigments with added binders that come packaged in tall jars. The binders help them to adhere and also prevent fallout but they also sometimes cause little 'balls' of pigment to form in the jars. When this happens you just break them up with your finger or a stiff brush. I like to mix them with a drop or two of duraline until they have an almost fluid consistency then I paint them on the eye lid. But you could use a glitter glue or setting spray too. Loretta was always my favorite. It's the perfect blend of plum, bronze and pink and it flatters my green eyes. But lately I'm really digging Kaleidoscope Eyes. It's not sheer exactly but it's a very light color so it works great as a lid topper. And of course Octopuses Garden is a showstopper. Straight on it looks like your typical blue brown but when you see it from the side... bam! Magenta! Really all five are gorgeous and I have a general obsession with pigments. I feel like a lot of people either find pigments intimidating or they just don't feel like dealing with them. But with a little practice, they're honestly not difficult use.

These are the eyeshadows from beautyescape! All 5 have high shine metallic finishes. Hibiscus is a mid-toned fuchsia pink. Forget Me Not is a bright aqua blue with a bit of green iridescence. Begonia is a... what would you call this shade of orange? My instinct is to call it a carrot orange but that sounds sort of unappealing and the color is gorgeous! Sunset orange?? Rose Garden is a mid-toned berry red. Chrysanthemum is a medium burnished copper. I'm going to have to reswatch these guys at some point because you really need to see them glistening in the sunshine to experience their full effect! BEC is without a doubt one of my favorite indies. She's got some of the most unique colors that I've ever seen and her formula is perfection.

So how gorgeous are these thre
So how gorgeous are these three highlighters from beautyescape?! The eyeshadows are beautiful but the highlighters have me shooketh to my very core! Okay so zeeee deets... the highlighters are $12 each and the eyeshadows are $6.50. In Bloom has a neutral pink base with the prettiest blue to lavender shift. It starts out sheer so that you get just a hint of bluish lavender iridescence or you can build it to full opacity. Blossom has a translucent base with a strong baby pink shift. Because it doesn't have a white base, it won't wash out deeper complexions. Last but not least and my personal favorite, Spring Showers! Spring Showers has a warm pearl toned base with a silvery flash in the sunlight. This is a 'blind innocent bystanders, see me from space' type highlighter so naturally I love it! Also the three colors compliment each other perfectly. I've been experimenting with mixing them together in different combinations all the time. And of course you could use them all over the lid or as inner corner highlights as well.

Beauty Escape Cosmetics Eyeshadows! . They retail for $6.50 each. BEC is the most underrated indie brand in the business, imo. She has the best colors and is a wiz when it comes to formulation. These shadows, like all of her products, are gorgeous and very well made. . Blueberry Pie is a bold sapphire blue. It reminds me a lot of ABH Azure . Cookie is a mid-toned, slightly coppery gold . Blackberries is a blackened blue green . Tea Cake is a mid-toned, neutral pink. Grape Soda is a metallic violet with subtle blue reflects. Frosting is the palest peachy gold. Top picks... I would bathe in Frosting. I would like my entire face and body to be this color. Grape Soda and Tea Cake are dope af. Anything pink or violet with blue reflects is a need in my book. Blackberries is really nice too. I don't think that I have another color exactly like it. Honestly they're all beautiful and BEC's formula is the BEST!
