New Buys and Rebuys
I did a mini skincare and haircare haul and I’m excited to get into my new products! I had already used the mini versions of the fresh - Rose Deep Hydration Toner and PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator and love the way my skin feels when I use them, so I decided to rebuy in full sizes. The exfoliant has been helping with my skin’s texture and pores, while the toner makes my skin feel smooth and luxurious, which just what I need as the weather gets colder. My thin hair has been looking pretty dull and stringy the past few months, so I decided to try out the Briogeo - Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-exfoliating Scalp Scrub Shampooto help with buildup, as I’ve heard really good things about this scrub. I also wanted to try out The Ordinary - Multi-Peptide Serum for Hair Densityto see if it would help my hair look thicker and fuller. Excited to start using these! #cheriepartner

PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Niacinamide Booster One empty. One opened. One backup. You know what this means! The @paulaschoice 10% Niacinamide Booster is my holy grail 🌟! When I first introduced this product into my skincare routine, along with VitC in the AM, I noticed a brighter complexion. But!! My true love affair with this booster is because of how well it has worked on my large nose pores! It keeps my pores clean so they “appear” smaller. I know this is my holy grail because I went without it for a few weeks while waiting for the new bottle to arrive and my nose pores started to look darker and dirtier (eww)! Once the new bottle arrived, my nose pores started to clear up again within days of reintroducing the product. I learned my lesson and will ALWAYS have a back-up ready to go! I have tried other products that contain Niacinamide but none of them have given me the same results as this one. There is just something about the PC Niacinamide booster formula!! The booster is so easy to incorporate into a skincare routine. I use it at nights by mixing it in with other serums or with moisturizers. It also applies well on its own – it’s a watery consistency that easily absorbs into the skin. The booster is so lightweight and does not leave a sticky or tacky feeling whatsoever. This is going to be an ongoing purchase for sure! Have you tried this booster? Do you incorporate Niacinamide into your skincare routine?
How I Shrunk and Tightened my Pores ✅
Hey Cherie Sisters 👯♀️ Happy Friday! My skin is normal to dry and I suffer from large pores, sun spots, dullness and acne scars from my teenage years. My skin care routine included a cleanser, a toner and a moisturizer. It wasn’t until recently that I stepped it up with the serums, essences and exfoliates. I have been watching Dr. Dray on YouTube. She is a dermatologist and skin care enthusiast and she mentioned the importance of Niacinamade which is a vitamin B3. My biggest concern is my large pores and this claims to promote a brighter skin and minimize your pores. While doing research on Niacinamide, I came across Hyram’s video regarding minimizing pores. He swears by the 2% BHA exfoliant by Paula’s Choice. This has over 3000+ reviews on their website and has numerous positive reviews on YouTube. After I did a careful research, I found that 10% niacinamde booster by Paula’s Choice Skincare might be the best choice. I bought the BHA exfoliant as well. Ole Henriksen’s Glow 2OH’s Toner was my go-to, but it has a strong scent to it. PC BHA is fragrance free and feels much lighter on the skin. I have only used this product for 2 weeks so I can’t do a depth review, but so far I like it. This also helps shrink my break outs faster which is a plus PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator I use the 10% niacinamide during the day time and night time. I expected the consistency to be oily - similar to DE’s Marula Oil, but this feels straight up like water. It feels good and cool on my skin. I’ve only used this for 2 weeks but so far I noticed my face is a lot brighter and glowy. PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Niacinamide Booster I used to get Botox for preventative wrinkles. I get injected by a plastic surgeon and he recommended I wear sunscreen on the daily. I used to not wear sunscreen b/c I didn’t think I needed it. I am on the tanner side and believed the myth that only fair skinned people needed them. I was proven wrong by my injector and he recommended I use ELTA MD’s sunscreen. I love this sunscreen because it also moisturizes. It has a creamy consistency similar to a moisturizer. I hate that sticky feeling that most sunscreens give so this is perfect. This also contains Hyaluronic Acid which is a plus! It’s also cheaper than most high end sunscreens on the market. elta md SKINCARE - UV Daily Broad-Spectrum SPF 40 I know that I can’t make my pores smaller unless I get it physically treated at the Dermatologist’s office, but Paula’s Choice products have made my skin less dull and brighter, has faded my acne scars and seem to made my pores shrink. Swipe right to a see a before and after What is your favorite skin care product that’s been recommended to you? Francesca 💋 #CheriePartner

Vitamin C Recommendations 🍊
I have learnt a lot over the past few months since joining cherie and am taking my skin more seriously now that I’m 30. I learnt my skin barrier had seriously been compromised, and I may actually not be as sensitive as I thought. I learnt that my skin most likely isn’t dry but actually dehydrated!! What a learning curve that was! Always, ALWAYS, research the best way to use products before using them. Search the product you are interested in on this app and go through the reviews and see what has worked and what hasn’t. Saves you a lot of trial and error! And disappointment! Always start slow with a new product! Go once a week for two weeks and then build up by adding one more day each week. This helps your skin adjust and figure out what works for you. If you flick through the photos above, you will see before and after photos of both sides of my face. Although it looks better, I still have a fair way to go. My routine as of October 13, 2020: MORNING I don’t use a cleanser to wash my face, I wash with water and then follow with The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 I apply this directly to my wet face after rinsing it. I continue massaging until I feel my skin is getting dry but still slightly damp. While my face is still slightly damp I apply SEPHORA COLLECTION - Brightening Eye Cream – Hydrate & Depuff and The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA and then wait about 5 minutes before applying PAULA'S CHOICE - Calm Mineral Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 NIGHT I have, in the last week, jumped back onto the double cleanse bandwagon as it is getting warmer in the Southern Hemisphere now and I tend to get hot and sweaty-ish (especially when running around after a toddler all day). I use The Ordinary - Squalane Cleanser massage this is for a few minutes, when I feel it start to loosen up I add in water and rinse it off. If my skin is feeling particularly dehydrated I skip the first cleanse and go straight to CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin Again, I leave my face wet and massage in The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 while my skin is still slightly damp I put on SEPHORA COLLECTION - Brightening Eye Cream – Hydrate & Depuff and PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Azelaic Acid Booster This has really helped calm down my irritated skin and helped smooth out some bumps. I then pat on about 6 drops of The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Squalane and after 5 minutes apply The Ordinary - Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA I am looking to add in a vitamin c product. I might be slightly sensitive to vitamin c, so please recommend products that are low in concentration and good for sensitive skin 😘😘
Must have products!!
Today I want to highlight azelaic acid + vitamin C. These products from Paulas Choice are staples in my routine. I use them daily. PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Azelaic Acid Booster What are the benefits of Azelaic Acid? - its an antibacterial antioxidant that decongests clogged pores - great for combination or oily skin - can be combined with other products since its a stable molecule - can be used as a spot treatment at night Why I love the Azelaic Acid Booster from Paulas Choice? - delivers 10% to brighten dark spots and even skin tones - help improve hyperpigmentation caused by breakouts - keeps breakouts at bay - helps decongest pores - great feel on the skin PAULA'S CHOICE - Resist C15 Super Booster What are the benefits of Vitamin C? - diminishes signs of aging - helps smooth and brighten skin tone - promotes collagen production - protects skin cells from damaging free radicals caused by sun exposure Why I love the Resist C15 Super Booster from Paulas Choice? - contains a highly concentrated of stabilized Vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) - includes other antioxidants and skin-smoothing peptides like vitamin E, ferulic acid and hyaluronic acid - light formula that absorbs quickly - gives me a radiant complexion How do I use these products? They can be used separately or together. Personally, I use them every morning after my toner and essence. I sometimes add the azelaic acid and the vitamin C in my hand before applying on my skin. I find that it makes it easier to apply the azelaic acid when added to the serum. Note: - it takes several weeks to do its job, don’t give up after a few applications - if used in the daytime, always follow with a sunscreen Let me know what you guys think about the products and using them together ☺️

My Maskne-Friendly Picks + Tips
Wearing a mask when you’re in public and around others is important. It’s also important to take care of the skin beneath your mask. Masks cause friction and heat can build up underneath, especially if you’re doing physical activity for work or pleasure, which can clog pores + cause maskne (acne from mask-wearing). I will preface this by saying that I don’t break out often. My skin is very dry. I have, however, experienced a few breakouts on the skin that is covered by my mask when I wear it for prolonged periods of time. My non-skincare tip is to not wear makeup underneath your mask because it can clog your pores. If I’m going to be wearing my mask for 30+ minutes (especially if I’m going to be working out), I remove my makeup before leaving my home. I find that really helps me to not break out as frequently. Okay, now for my picks! I use the Paula’s Choice CLEAR line. I purchased these as a set on the PC website on sale for $49 before the start of the pandemic. I purchased the Extra Strength kit because my now husband battles hormonal acne. The set comes with the PAULA'S CHOICE - Pore Normalizing Cleanser ($13), PAULA'S CHOICE - Clear Extra Strength Anti-Redness Exfoliating Solution with 2% Salicylic Acid w/ 2% salicylic acid, and PAULA'S CHOICE - Clear Extra Strength Daily Skin Clearing Treatment w/ Benzoyl Peroxide 5% ($19). The cleanser contains a gentle percentage of salicylic acid (0.5%) to clean out pores and fight acne. It has a gel texture and lathers a bit. Even with my dry skin, I can use this multiple times per week without my skin feeling dried out. The exfoliating solution is very similar to PC’s popular BHA in the grey bottle. This solution feels slightly more viscous than that one, so I actually like it better for my dry skin. Salicyic acid is awesome for fighting acne. I use it all over my face 2x/wk in the PM after cleansing and toning. Oilier skin types can probably use this more, as it is designed for daily use. It does say anti-redness but I personally don’t think it calms redness. The benxoyl peroxide treatment is more heavy-duty and has a lightweight lotion texture (can be worn under makeup). I use this as a spot treatment before moisturizing (let dry) as needed 1 or 2x/day because I do find it a bit drying, though my husband (more oily) never has issues. I don’t use this on the same day as the exfoliating liquid. I use this one the least, but hubs uses it more. Of the 3, only the benxoyl peroxide has a mild chemical scent. Acne patches are also great. Super easy to wear during the day or night if you work from home or are wearing a mask at work. I use the COSRX - Cosrx Acne Pimple Master Patch if a pimple has burst to suck out the gunk inside and protect it while it heals. They’re thin and stick well. Note: Make sure you use SPF 30+ during the day!! Acids can make your skin sensitive to the sun! #CheriePartner
Hello BABY skin 😍😍😍
I’ve heard rave reviews regarding Paula’s Choice range and thought I try it out esp while it was on sale. Luckily it did not let me down... Phew 😅 Pic 1 - I had really dry skin around my mouth and nose from too much exfoliation and having the heater on throughout the day. Pic 2 - after using all the Paula’s choice range my skin was soft and dewy - not tight or dry. Pic 3 - in my opinion my make up settled into the skin really nice 👍 Note: - The pore cleanser is gel form - The exfoliant is a clear liquid which you will need to put on a cotton pad to wipe on your face (my skin is dry sensitive so I only used the exfoliant at night every second or third night). - The moisturiser is a white cream very light weight, non greasy on the skin. - The niacinamide feels like water (non greasy), I applied this before the moisturiser. - The face mask was a free gift - gotta love freebies 😉! If I was to repurchase I would definitely purchase the pore cleanser and moisturiser again. The cleanser has Salicylic acid in its ingredients so you could skip the exfoliant. Also the moisturiser is a barrier repair moisturiser which has retinol. This helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, smooths and hydrates the skin so I can skip on the niacinamide booster. Love to hear your experience with Paula’s choice. And if you have any recommendations from the range I would love to hear it 🥰🥰🥰

✨My affordable oily/combo skincare routine✨
This is my newly updated skincare routine ✨ Everything is in order of how I layer my products *AM Routine* The Ordinary - Squalane Cleanser — *update: I was using this as a first cleanse in the mornings after I use my BHA, but realize I need to keep focused on double only at night. CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin — I use this every morning and I swear by this cleanser. It is super gentle on the skin, it cleanses well enough without drying. PAULA'S CHOICE - Pore-Reducing Toner— I have not rated this yet as I have not been using it long enough to notice any real benefits from it(will update soon) The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%— I use this in my skin care routine as it has been highly recommended to help with my blemishes and brightening skin tone. Will update with a rating when I feel I have used it long enough to see a difference. CeraVe - AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 — I really enjoy this moisturizer, it doesn’t feel too thick on my skin but it does leave quite a bit of a cast which is common in a moisturizer with SPF. *PM Routine* The Ordinary - Squalane Cleanser — I love this as a first step in my double cleanse as I find it really helps to clean off my moisturizer/spf & makeup if I have worn it, it leaves the skin looking and feeling really smooth CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin PAULA'S CHOICE - Pore-Reducing Toner **PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator— I use this as recommended to start 2-3 times a week, I haven’t been using it long enough to say whether it is really helping my skin yet. Although I will say it does feel really nice on the skin, it feels like a very mild oil when first put on and I find my face looks more radiant after applying The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%— I use this at night when I do not use my BHA exfoliator as it isn’t recommended. The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 — I use this every night and I love that it helps draw in all of the moisture from the environment around me. I find it works well with my BHA to help keep the moisture in my skin. CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion — I LOVE this moisturizer, it is super hydrating but doesn’t feel thick on my oily skin. **Exfoliators** PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator— chemical exfoliant 2-3x a week. PAULA'S CHOICE - The Unscrub— use this up to 3 times a week, on nights that I do not use my chemical exfoliator if I feel like I need to. It is very gentle on the skin as the jojoba oil beads melt as you exfoliate. When I add this, I use it as a second cleanser(in place of my CeraVe) If anyone has an recommendations, please comment. Constructive critisism is always welcome 😊❤️
Paula’s Choice Toner
Paula’s Choice Pore-Reducing Toner is great! I use it every other night as the second step in my skincare routine. It includes niacinamide to help with pores and acne, which is definitely something I’m looking for. That said, I make sure to use this on RETINOL nights, as niacinamide and retinol do fine together, unlike niacinamide mixed with AHA/BHA’s. Unless my skin’s barrier is damaged or I have any wounds of my face, this doesn’t seem to irritate, though if you are looking for something exceedingly gentle, I might suggest something made specifically for sensitive skin. It’s odorless, cruelty-free, effective and reasonably priced. PAULA'S CHOICE - Pore-Reducing Toner is a toner I would purchase again.

Sunscreen Is Always and Forever
Sunscreen is an essential part of any skincare routine. It is the number one proven preventative treatment for anti-aging. The sun’s rays, most specifically UVA and UVB, are damaging to our skin. They cause free radical damage, something that plays a role in collagen breakdown and inflammation; two things that are super important to pay attention to when talking about anti-aging. Plus, those rays exist in all weather, rain or shine, so sunscreen is a must! Sunscreen is also one of the first steps in treating hyperpigmentation! The sun activates our melanin production, like a tan. This over-production is exaggerated whenever we experience trauma to the skin, like a cut or a blemish. With those of us who have more melanin, we are more likely to produce stronger hyperpigmentation. With the use of sunscreen, we can help the fading time of hyperpigmentation to speed up! As a sunscreen lover myself, I have a few favorites, the one that will always have my heart year-round are: Krave - The Beet Shieldis a chemical sunscreen with SPF 50. Packed with a lot of soothing ingredients! Sits amazingly under makeup too! PAULA'S CHOICE - Youth-Extending Daily Hydrating Fluidis a chemical sunscreen with SPF 50. Packed with tons of hydrating ingredients and antioxidants. This can replace your moisturizer in warmer months! Something I only like reaching for when it’s warmer is the PAULA'S CHOICE - Super-Light Daily Wrinkle Defense SPF 30It is tinted and leaves a silky matte finish on the skin. Some that I have my eyes on to try next include Black Girl Sunscreen. It has been deemed better for drier skin types year-round or if you lean oily, it is great for the colder weather. It is known for its beautiful glowy finish! Another one I have my eyes on that has been getting incredible reviews, that can be used year-round, is the Soothe Bamboo Sun Essence by Keep Cool. Regardless of your choice, if it works for you, that’s the sunscreen that matters!
Summer to Fall
Here’s my Summer skincare routine for oily/combo skin and swipe to see how I’ll switch it up for fall/winter! My main focus of winter and fall skincare is keeping my skin as hydrated as possible! During the winter my skin tends to get more dry and I want to keep it hydrated and plump! And how I’ll transition into the fall/winter: FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Wild Oat Hydrating Toner the best hydrating toner you could ever get! New skincare routine 🧴
I started a new skincare routine after starting Differin and I’m loving it! I start with the Dove Bar Soap and then go in next with my Cerave PM moisturizer which is almost a gel like consistency. I then wait a few minutes and top it off with Differin. In the morning I wash my face with warm water and go in with neutrogena hydro boost which is the most hydrating and cooling gel moisturizer. After I go in with my favorite Paula’s choice SPF which is a watery consistency and melts into the skin. I’ve been really enjoying all of these products and the results that I have been seeing with my skin. DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel Neutrogena - Neutrogena Hydroboost Water Gel Moisturizer Dove - Beauty Bar Soap PAULA'S CHOICE - YOUTH-EXTENDING DAILY HYDRATING FLUID SPF 50 CeraVe - Healing Ointment CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion

Shelfie: great products if you live in PNW!
I have dry/sensitive skin and these products have saved me while living here in Oregon. These products are all fragrance free and many of them contain highly moisturizing ingredients like omega fatty acids, ceramides, b5, squalane, and hyaluronic acid. The mad hippie cream cleanser is surfactant free. I use The Ordinary lactic acid on my days off from using Tretinoin Here’s my routine: AM Cleanse with Mad Hippie Cream Cleanser. While skin is still damp I apply my Paulas Choice Enriched Calming Toner. After this I use my Aveeno Calm + Restore triple oat serum. I then layer two oils from The Ordinary: b5 + amino acids and 100% pure squalane. I moisturize with Paula’s Choice Omega + Complex Moisturizer and protect with Biossance Zinc + Squalane SPF 30. The last step is an occlusive: Cerave Healing Ointment. I do not wear foundation but I apply Mineral Fusions BB cream. PM I use my Trilogy Rosehip Cleansing Oil to take off my BB cream and then my routine is mostly the same. Except instead applying The Ordinary after my serum I apply my licorice root serum from It’s Skin and my Rosehip Oil + Antioxidants from Trilogy. Every other day I apply Tretinoin and I put this on over my moisturizer to minimize peeling. On off days from Tretinoin I use my Lactic Acid 10% treatment from The Ordinary and I also apply my Cerave Healing Ointment over my moisturizer

My Favorite Serums 🌸
I have sensitive combo skin that is acne-prone and these are my favorite skincare serums! A lot of my serums are focused in helping with acne and its aftermath and these are the best I’ve found. ✨Antioxidant Pore Purifier by Paula’s Choice $31 for 1oz This serum has salicylic acid in it and white tea. It is meant to unclog pores and help with airborne pollutants. It’s a light fluid that is the tiniest bit sticky on skin before adding a moisturizer. Before finding this, I was dealing with a lot of really intense cystic acne. After using for about two months, I eased up on this product and noticed my breakouts got worse which is when I realized what an effect this was having for my skin. I eventually did ease out of regular use and my skin has been behaving but if it does get bad again, I’m definitely repurchasing this product. ✨Very Cherry Bright by Farmacy $62 for 1oz This is a lightweight Vitamin C serum by Farmacy made with four forms of Vitamin C, the most obvious being from the Acerola Cherry extracts which make this smell so good! This serum is gorgeous. It’s lightweight and effective. This is a clean brand and comes in packaging that is meant to reduce oxidation which makes Vitamin C serums less effective. I find this helps with red spots, scarring, brightening and fighting free radicals. My biggest issue is the price but this brand does regular sales which helps. I’m about to try the Naturium Vitamin C Complex so we will see how that compares given the lower price point. Stay tuned! I’m also liking the Naturium Niacinamide one a lot. ✨Great Barrier Relief by Krave $28 for 1.52 fl oz This is a moisture barrier saving serum by Krave which I fall more and more in love with each use. It has Tamanu Oil, Safflower Oil, Rosehip Oil, Vitamin B3 and Ceramide for for skin regeneration, hyperpigmentation, anti-aging, brightening, acne-fighting and generally repairing a damaged skin barrier. This serum is turning into an all time favorite. I actually use this after a lighter Vitamin C serum on my mask area and it’s been helping to prevent breakouts from mask wearing. This product mimics your skin’s moisture barrier so it’s great for skin that needs help from too many actives, sunburn, etc. ✨Honeymoon Glow by Farmacy $58 for 1 oz This is an nighttime resurfacing serum that for me gets rid of breakouts and leaves me glowing the next morning. It has AHA, flower acids and honey in it. It tingles a bit when first applied but that quickly stops. I couldn’t go without this one and have a back-up. I like to use acids like this with a stronger nightly moisturizer like Healing Ointment by CeraVe! I use this maybe twice a week at most. 🌸What serums are you loving? PAULA'S CHOICE - Antioxidant Pore Purifier FARMACY - Very Cherry Bright 15% Clean Vitamin C Serum with Acerola Cherry Krave - Great Barrier Relief FARMACY - Honeymoon Glow Serum #CheriePartner
is paula’s choice worth the $$ ?
I started purchasing this brand at the beginning of the year as I saw a lot of skincare youtubers RAVE about paula’s choice, and I thought hey why not? I am confident in saying that I have no regrets with purchasing products from paula’s choice 🤩 the first products I purchased from them were: PAULA'S CHOICE - Pore-Reducing Toner & PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator my main concerns on my face are my large pores. yes, pores cannot magically disappear (although I bet a lot of us wish they could), but they can diminish in appearance and that is my goal ! I use the pore reducing toner on days where I feel like my pores need a lil extra tlc, and the 2% bha in the am and pm in my skincare routines and as we know by now, this product is my holy grail, my ride or die. I CANNOT GO WITHOUT IT !!!! the PAULA'S CHOICE - Antioxidant Pore Purifier is also a great product with amazing ingredients for both treating acne and blackheads with the salicylic acid and niacinamide, as well as calming ingredients such as white tea extract and others like it. however, I do not think that I will be repurchasing this product as I want to try other similar products once I run out. pore reducing toner - $21 for 6.4oz 2% bha liquid exfoliator - $29.50 for 4oz antioxidant pore purifier - $31 for 1oz so, is paula’s choice worth the $$ ? I would say yes for most of their products, especially if you get them when they are on sale !! paula’s choice also has an auto-replenishment programme. if you choose to do this, you will get 15% off your auto-replenished product and free shipping. WHAT A STEAL 🤭

Fall in love with my morning routine 🍁
Anyone else love taking their time to do their skincare routine in the morning?! ⠀ Now I don’t have time to do this entire routine every morning but most days I love waking up an extra 5 minutes early just to do my in depth routine. ⠀ With the colder months coming and mascne still being a thing in my life hydration is key for me ⠀ Here’s a breakdown of my morning routine 🍁 cleanser: I have been loving the @instanatural_beauty vitamin c cleanser in the morning. It’s not only gentle but helps to brighten my complexion which is everything I look for especially during these dreary cold months insta natural - Vitamin C Cleanser, Anti-Aging ⠀ 🍁 vitamin c: I have been using the @paulaschoice C15 super booster for a few months now. I have to say it’s not necessarily my favorite and I definitely miss my @farmacybeauty very cherry. It’s more of a liquid serum and does cause a slight tingle but overall I don’t hate it. PAULA'S CHOICE - Resist C15 Super Booster ⠀ 🍁 Hylauronic acid: @earthharbor Celestine is my one true love! Not only does it smell amazing but it’s not sticky on my skin and keeps it hydrated all day long. EARTH HARBOR - Celestine Hydra-Plumping Peptide Serum ⠀ 🍁 moisturizer: @katesomervilleskincare goat milk moisturizer is perfect for the AM. It’s light enough to not be too heavy on your skin but gives the perfect amount of hydration. It’s a silky formula and I love it! Kate Somerville - Goat Milk Moisturizing Cream ⠀ 🍁 Face oil: Now I haven’t always been a face oil gal! I have normal-combination skin so I don’t suffer from dry skin much but with masks I find that breathing back onto my skin all day dries out my chin terribly. I like to use @sundayriley ceo glow every morning to not only nourish my skin but to help give it even more of a brightening boost! SUNDAY RILEY - C.E.O. Glow Vitamin C and Turmeric Face Oil ⠀ Have you tried any of these products in my AM routine?
Favourite acne scarring fading products?
2 years ago I had successes with COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence and The Ordinary - Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2% to fade mild acne scarring. More recently this year I had a bad breakout (see my profile for pictures) which left me with a lot of scarring, more than I’ve ever had in my life 🥺 so now I’m looking for something a bit stronger. I have tried PAULA'S CHOICE - Resist C15 Super Booster before my breakout, but I believe this was one of the causes of my breakouts so I’m hesitant to try this again, at least until my skin barrier is fuller recovered. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% works well with my skin but I feel results are slow. Maybe I’m impatient 😅 I have not tried Melano CC Intensive Anti-Spot Treatment Essence, DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serumor SUNDAY RILEY - C.E.O. Glow Vitamin C and Turmeric Face Oil yet due to the nature and stability of vitamin C, I’d like to try 1 product at a time. Have you tried these products? Let me know what results you’ve gotten with these products! Or feel free to share any products not listed here that worked for your skin!

Pores? What pores??
Wow. I grew up in the days of Herbal Essences et al selling shampoo that was meant to make your hair straight or curly, but didn’t do anything. Or clean and clear face wash meant to eliminate blackheads, but did nothing. Etc etc etc. So I kind of don’t trust any companies. The first time I applied the Exfoliate Gel, i thought I noticed a difference every time I looked in the mirror over the next few hours but I was so skeptical that I thought I was just seeing what I wanted to— there’s no way I’m NOT being lied to. I will not be fooled again. It took me a couple of days to come to terms with the fact that it was actually reducing the size of my pores. I’ve been using both the toner and the gel— so Im not sure if one is more effective than the other— though I do know for sure that the gel works on its own because I tried that one firsr. I highly highly recommend these two products. I’ve only been using them for about a week at this point. PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator PAULA'S CHOICE - Pore-Reducing Toner

Comparison of 3 Vitamin C Serums
Almost every morning I use a Vitamin C serum to help protect against environmental damage and help prevent premature signs of aging. In addition to providing antioxidant protection, Vitamin C can also boost collagen production and help fade hyperpigmentation. I definitely consider it a skincare staple. #timeless SKIN CARE - 20% Vitamin C + E Ferulic Acid Serum Refill🌟🌟🌟🌟 I enjoyed using this serum (which was gifted by the brand). It had barely any smell, applied nicely and it didn’t contribute to excess oil on my skin. This is an affordable serum, and if it works for your skin, then it is an excellent option to get consistent antioxidant protection in short chunks of time. Because this has the shortest shelf life of the three (in terms of what the company states in terms of efficacy). #SKINCEUTICALS - C E Ferulic With 15% L-Ascorbic Acid Vitamin C Serum🌟🌟🌟 The first thing that struck me about this serum was that it had the most potent “hotdog water” smell. Once I got past that, I liked how it applied and absorbed into the skin. If this and Paula’s Choice Resist C15 were the same price, I would choose Skinceuticals because they have done efficacy and stability testing. But since the Paula’s Choice formula is so close to the overall formulation and effects, the products just seem far too similar to the Paula’s Choice Resist C15 for me to justify the cost difference. #PAULA'S CHOICE - Resist C15 Super Booster🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I have purchased this serum twice now. I love how it comes in a smaller bottle (.067 oz) because that means I use it up right about the time that it is starting to oxidize and I never feel like I am wasting product. I will say that I didn’t start to really see an improvement in pigmentation until I started to use it 5 days a week (initially I was using it 3 days a week). This is my favorite serum. It works for me and I love it. Thanks to @goalstogetglowing for writing inspiration！
