Scalp and hair treatments 🌿 I'm a little guilty of neglecting my scalp and hair sometimes 🙋🏻. Whenever I actually manage to get the time, these are my go to for a little scalp and hair treatment. I also pop a cheeky bit of castor oil on my brows before bed for that extra conditioned look the next day 😏. pukkaherbs Castor Oil This little gem is rich in ricinoleic acid, a type of fatty acid found to fight inflammation. It's said that when applied to the scalp it enhances the health of hair follicles, in turn promoting hair growth. There is actually no current scientific evidence to back this but I do enjoy the way this makes my hair feel super soft, smooth and my eyebrows also benefit, they always seem much softer and shinier. dermaorganics Scalp Stimulating Growth Treatment I have reviewed this hair mask previously, if you scroll down a few posts you should find it. It contains biotin, ginger root oil & homemade Moringa seed oil, to repair and restore dry & damaged hair as well as stimulating your hair shaft with peppermint and spicy ginger root which is an anti-fungal agent to help relieve & soothe scalp conditions such as seborrheic dermatitis & psoriasis. My hair always feels absolutely unreal after using this, the shine is reflective and the smoothness is amazing. This one always has me stroking my hair. espa Pink Hair and Scalp Mud This mask is rich in minerals, vitamin C, red clay and apricot kernel oil to nourish the scalp and deeply condition hair. Again, my hair always feels ridiculously amazing after using this treatment. My scalp always feels relieved and my hair seriously soft, shiny, bouncy and lightweight. I love this so much I need to purchase the full size. Now that I'm almost out of this mask, I've been mixing it with some castor oil to create my own custom mask to make both products last longer. These three are my little treats for giving my scalp and hair that boost it deserves after usually being neglected and left in a 'mum bun' 💁🏻. I'll be participating in a little hair masking tonight to gain that lustre back. 🌸

If you’re looking for some great luxury skin care and haven’t tried espaskincare yet, I’d recommend trying out their products. They are known to be highly effective and are formulated with the purest, natural ingredients to cleanse, nourish and rejuvenate for beautifully clear, radiant skin. ✨ I’ve used the Pink Hair and Scalp Mud Mask for several months and it’s one of the best scalp treatments I’ve ever used. Another Espa fav is the Optimal Skin ProMoisturizer (which I have posted about in the past). I was just about out of my first tub so I’m pretty happy I’ve got a brand new one! I also now have some newbies for my Espa collection so that is super exciting as well! ✨ ▫️Natural Beauty Inner Calm Tri-Activ Advanced Instant Facial Age- Defying Concentrate - for revitalized, glowing skin ✨ ▫️Pink Hair and Scalp Mud - Intensive Treatment Mask to condition and nourish hair and scalp ✨ ▫️Natural Beauty Inner Calm Soothing Body Oil - soothes and relaxes body and mind ✨ ▫️Optimal Skin ProMoisturzier ✨ ▫️Natural Beauty Inner Calm Purifying Micellar Cleanser - one-step cleansing for clear, conditioned skin ✨ ▫️Natural Beauty Inner Calm Fitness Shower Oil - A beautifully rich shower oil, to cleanse and soothe body and mind ✨

Today, I want to introduce you to espa which is a luxury skincare brand known worldwide in particular for their spa treatments as well as skincare products tailored to different skin needs and concerns by combining aromatherapy with knowledge (science) in order to bring the ultimate pampering experience at home as well. . My focus will be on the Optimal Collection today. I will share my thoughts based on my experience after testing these products in different ways for a month. My skin is combination, mature, acne prone - no wrinkles. . ✨Optimal Skin Procleaser - starting with my favourite product from the range, a multi-purposeful cleanser infused with Morniga Seed Extract, Pumpkin Enzymes and Jojoba spheres. I absolutely adore it, leaves my skin extra smooth, can be used as a mask (my preferred method) after 1st cleanse in the pm, or as a 1st step in the am. Really nourishes the skin, but it doesn’t leave any kind film after rinse, which is great. Brilliant for those days when the skin is dull and dry, especially when you need an extra kick to shed off those nasty dead cells. . ✨Optimal Skin Promoisturiser - this smells incredible (reminds me of Midnight Jasmine - my take on the scent), however the stellar ingredients are South African Resurrection Plant (for dehydration), Navarra Asparagus Extract (anti-aging) and Yeast Bioferment. 🌸 In terms of texture, it feels rich, yet very light. Absorbs completely into the skin and dries to a semi-matte/matte finish. This is recommended to be used at night, I use it at night, as well when I am prepping my skin for certain procedures and I have to be off actives. I sometimes use it in the am too, if I am stuck in the office (at home) and not going anywhere. I will however recommend to use it mostly in the pm or in the am if you don’t plan to wear any makeup as it can pill a tiny bit. Unless you plan to use a powder foundation or cushion foundation.

I remember my first visit to a spa at 18, I enjoyed a luxurious facial and massage with delightful espa skincare products ❤️ the scent alone was enough to send me into a deep 60 minute snooze, but the effects of the products lasted much longer. I’ve tried samples in the past after having facials and I’ve been seriously sad when they ran out. So when I received a full sized cleanser and moisturiser I was like hello thank you 🙌🏼❤️ The Optimal Skin ProMoisturiser is a responsive, lightweight nutrient-rich moisturiser that balances the complexion while delivering deep, long-lasting hydration where your skin needs it most. Most importantly it contains Yeast Bioferment which revitalises skin by night. Whilst the Optimal Skin ProCleanser is a 3-in-1 gel cleanser, exfoliator and mask to nourish, smooth and visibly brighten the complexion. Moringa Seed Extract cleanses and removes make-up, while Jojoba Spheres gently exfoliate and melt away to leave skin clear and smooth. Pumpkin Enzymes remove dull cells, revealing a radiant glow. I’ve been enjoying this duo morning and night, layered over my favourite serums and oils. I absolutely think they’ve made my skin that touch more hydrated and it’s definitely brought the spa ambience to my skincare routine.

My quick shower masking

☘️ es
My quick shower masking ☘️ espa 3-in-1 as a cleanser and very-very gentle massage with jojoba beads before shower. ☘️ elemis papaya enzyme peel while taking a shower. Do you know guys that enzymes work better on wet skin? So shower is the best place for enzyme masks. ☘️ huxley healing mask after shower . In two words: I do not like it but should use it up somehow 🙈

toner for dry skin
Espa Balancing Herbal Spafresh Spritzer is a hydrating, Ph balancing toner. It’s great for clearing skin and hydrating. It sprays on as a thin liquid and is very easy to rub into skin. I’ve only been using this for a few weeks but I can already see a difference in how hydrated and moisturized my skin is. Big difference compared to how dry it was before! I love how refreshing it feels to mist onto my face and definitely think it’s priced fairly compared to other quality toners. Worth it! Highly recommend!

Cleansing is my favourite step
Cleansing is my favourite step in my skincare routine ❤️ At the moment I’ve been loving: ✨ Dr.jart Dermaclear Trans-Foam Pink Clay Cleanser is a mineral-rich mask which lathers to a foam when mixed with water, that brightens, tones, and removes dead skin cells (I use this every other day in the evening) ✨ ESPA Optimal Skin ProCleanser contains Moringa Seed Extract, which cleanses and removes make-up, while Jojoba Spheres gently exfoliate and melt away to leave skin clear and smooth (I use this morning and night, before Dr.jart) ✨ SandAndSky Pink Clay Exfoliating Treatment is enriched with antioxidants and AHA rich fruit extracts, which effectively remove toxins, pollution and impurities from deep within the skin for a clearer, brighter, healthier complexion (I use this twice a week as it’s a deeper clean than a normal cleanser)

Today is espa skincare overnig
Today is espa skincare overnight hydration 👉🏻 Voted Best Night Cream for hydrating in the Santé Ageless Beauty Awards 2018 👉🏻 An intensely hydrating overnight treatment mask to leave the complexion replenished and radiant. Chicory Root Extract helps to reinforce the skin's natural barrier function, while Konjac Root and Hyaluronic Acid hydrate and smooth. A pure blend including Cedarwood, Ylang Ylang and Lavandin Essential Oils help calm a busy mind while Encapsulated Lavender gently releases its soothing and restful properties as your head hits the pillow. 👉🏻 I find mask a bit sticky. I tried it over all other layers of pm routine or alone on toner, it absorbs really well but feels very sticky. 👉🏻 My skin in the morning is so soft, moisturized and plumped that I am ready to forgive this stickiness and use it several times a week. But only in winter😜
