A quick Cheat guide to choosing the right Acid ✨
I find this Flowchart to be a cheat guide to start with your Chemical exfoliation routin. 😊✨ Exfoliation is one of the steps in your skin care routine that can elevate your current routine from good to great. So often I find my skin starting to feel a little bit dull, and I realize that I have been leaving out exfoliation. When I wake up after a night that I have applied a chemical exfoliant, (I really like The Ordinary’s 7% Glycolic Acid, Sunday Riley's Good Genes) The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution SUNDAY RILEY - Good Genes All in One Lactic Acid Treatment I notice my skin has a much more rested and fresh look. Also, my skin has that 'Glass skin' look and feel. My textural irregularities get even and my skin tone is evened out! Some of the skin concerns that exfoliation is great for targeting include: 🌻Enlarged pores 🌻Uneven skin tone/Hyperpigmentation 🌻Rough skin texture 🌻Fine lines So… back to the big question: ✨What does exfoliate mean? Skin is consistently renewing its cells, by shedding its surface layer. When dead skin cells are flushed away and a fresh layer of cells comes to the surface, the new layer is younger and smoother in appearance. This process is frequent in younger skin, however slows with age. The process of exfoliating is advancing the process of removing dead skin cells and revealing the fresh new layer of healthy skin either physically or chemically. Physical exfoliators are granular, using natural beads or crystals that are rubbed on the skin, sloughing away the dead cells on the top layer of skin. Chemical exfoliants work by targeting the bonds between cells, breaking these bonds, allowing the dead skin cells to break away. Chemical exfoliation is able to penetrate deeper into the skin, targeting congestion that is associated with clogged pores leading to acne. In short exfoliation simply means to shed away dead skin cells with the help of a product. Want to know which exfoliating acids are best for your skin? Follow through the flowchart in Image above to figure out which is best for you! Here are some options/products I love and you can choose from: The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution SUNDAY RILEY - Good Genes All in One Lactic Acid Treatment The Ordinary - Mandelic Acid 10% + HA NATURIUM - BHA Liquid Exfoliant 2% The Ordinary - Salicylic Acid 2% Masque THE inkey LIST - Polyhydroxy Acid (PHA) Gentle Exfoliating Toner TULA SKINCARE - Pro-Glycolic 10% Resurfacing Toner Allies of Skin - Mandelic Pigmentation Corrector Night Serum

My Favourite Serums✨
My skin is sensitive, redness-prone, normal-dry depending on the season, and I have some rosacea on my cheeks. These 4 serums have made a big difference in the texture and overall appearance + health of my skin. I’m going to tell you a little bit about each of them below! • SKINCEUTICALS - Serum 10 Aox+ - I’m sure you’ve heard of the cult favourite Skinceuticals vitamin c serum and this version is just as effective, but for sensitive skin. It has a water-like consistency and sinks into the skin right away. I have definitely found that this has helped to brighten and even my skin tone. I really love this vitamin c and would definitely recommend it (even though it’s pricey). • Corpa Flora - Antidote 03 - Redness Relief - this serum has more of an oil-like consistency and a light floral scent to it that I just love. I have found that when I am consistent with this serum it definitely decreases the redness I have in my cheeks due to rosacea. I typically mix a pump of this with a pump of their Corpa Flora - Antidote HB5 Hydration and it’s the perfect hydrating + soothing cocktail! For anyone with sensitive, redness-prone skin like me, this duo is a must have to combat that! • Allies of Skin - Mandelic Pigmentation Corrector Night Serum - I didn’t know what to expect from this serum but it has blown me away. I often have texture on my cheeks and also get hormonal breakouts and this serum does an amazing job at fighting both of them. I always notice a difference in my skin the next morning when I use this at night! My favourite way to use it is to mix a pump of this with a pump of the Allies of Skin - Triple Hyaluronic Antioxidant Hydration Serum (if you can’t tell, I love mixing serums to create the perfect skincare concoction). Both of these products are pricey, if you’re going to splurge on one, make it the Mandelic! • CAUDALIE - Vinoperfect Radiance Serum The Brightening Solution - this one is a favourite in the skincare world and for good reason. The overall brightening and tone-correcting effect this serum has is amazing. I love the clean scent it has and the milky, smooth texture. It sinks into the skin quickly and isn’t sticky or tacky. I wouldn’t say this is a must-have compared to the others listed here, but if you’re a product junkie like me it’s definitely worth having in your collection. #CheriePartner

GAME CHANGER VITAMIN C
Let’s be honest... the most effective vitamin C products on the market right now are either too sensitizing or degrade too quickly. I’ve had trouble finding an effective, gentle, vitamin C product that actually works for my oily, acne prone, sensitive skin type... until I was able to try this one by Allies of Skin. While it is pricey at $118, the product itself is made to last up to a year and is highly stable compared to other formulas that are made with water (which makes them unstable and easily degradable). The product is made with 35% vitamin C derivatives that are gentle to the skin, and a formula that mimics a dry oil that can be used by any skin type since it absorbs quickly. I’ve used an entire bottle which lasted me several months with daily use. My skin absolutely loved it until the end, and I was sad to have emptied it. When I used this, dark spots had lightened and I noticed an overall brighter complexion. No acne whatsoever from this product. AOS continuously impressed me with their advanced formulas and I will always recommend this product (and their entire range). They recently repackaged it so that it is not in a dropper bottle anymore- even more worth it at the same price! Tip: Next time Dermstore has a 20% off sale, grab this because AOS sells quickly! Hoping you try this out!

My two favourite products from Allies of skin
Allies of Skin - Peptides & Antioxidants Firming Daily Treatment A daily moisturizer treatment to firm and repair damaged skin. Packed with powerhouse ingredients such as multiple peptides, 7 Brighteners, 9 Antioxidants, a 16.5% Repair Complex , this leave-on helps stimulate collagen production, restore skin’s barrier, protects against environmental stressors. I use it in my morning routine either directly after a mist or after serum; followed by SPF. If your skin is very dry, you might need to top it with moisturizer or mix a few drops of facial oil. I have a normal to dry skin and I don’t feel the need of extra moisturizer. The texture is lightweight, and nourishes the skin without feeling greasy. It is expensive ($109 for 50 ml) but yet my favourite morning treatment. This is my second tube and will repurchase it again. Allies of Skin - VITAMIN C 35% COLLAGEN REBUILDING SERUM I was initially skeptical about this as it had 35% Vitamin C but I never had any adverse reaction using it. A waterless formula with a texture of dry oil that absorbs really well and is great for daily use. Formulated with 25% Ethylated L-Ascorbic Acid, 10% Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate and supercharged with Superoxide Dismutase+Glutathione, it provides antioxidant protection, boosts collagen production, brighten dark spots and gives a brilliant glow.

Current PM Routine: Normal Skin
Note: The micellar water I use to remove my waterproof mascara is not pictured (I use the waterproof Marcelle micellar water) I’ve done previous reviews for each product so I won’t go into too much detail. 1). Remove my mascara with the previously mentioned micellar water 2). Cleanse my face with the Allies of Skin - Molecular Silk Amino Hydrating Cleanser With this cleanser it’s best to apply to dry skin and massage around face and neck. I then follow by apply a small amount of water to lather the cleanser before ringing with lukewarm water. 3). The perfect, gentle-yet-effective toner: PESTLE & MORTAR - Exfoliate Glycolic Acid Toner 180ml It not only ensures a day’s dirt, grime, and makeup are completely removed from the skin, but I find it has made my complexion so much more balanced in terms of oiliness in my pore area (it’s non-existent at this point). 4). I always, aways use NIOD - Superoxide Dismutase Saccharide Mist Antioxidants in skincare are so important. It’s great at helping with water loss, oxidative stress, and inflammation. It’s so refreshing to apply to freshly cleansed skin. 5). I don’t let the mist dry onto my skin. I’ll leave it sitting for a few minutes and while my face is still slightly damp I apply PESTLE & MORTAR - Pure Hyaluronic Serum This hyaluronic serum is so hydrating and feels lovely on the skin. It’s perfect for locking in that moisture from the face mist. 6). GRAYDON - Fullmoon Serum A plant-based retinol alternative. My holy grail. My skin has never looked better since using this consistently. My skin is smooth and overall looks healthy. 7). The BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Marine Algae Eye Cream is my favourite eye cream and has been my go-to for months. It’s super hydrating and doesn’t make my concealer crease :) 8). The YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Air-Whip Moisture Cream is SO nice! It’s a light-weight gel cream. It has a lovely fresh scent that’s not overpowering. It’s quite hydrating as well. When I use these products my skin feels hydrated, smooth, and overall healthy :)

Best Discovery of 2020!
This brand is best discovery of 2020 for me! How? I’ll tell you. 2020 has been really tough year for all of us, it has caused so much stress. Stress plus not having a healthy diet( I binge on chips a lot) ain’t doing good to my skin, my skin gets texture and had become dull because of all of it. I started using Allies of skin products 2 months back, I have been using their Mandelic Acid Serum & Triple Hyaluronic Acid Serum which I have reviewed previously and their Silk Amino hydrating cleanser & Peptides and Antioxidants moisture which I’ll be reviewing today. 𝘗𝘦𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘴 & 𝘈𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘹𝘪𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘍𝘪𝘳𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘋𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘺 𝘛𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵: This is a daily moisturising treatment to firm and repair damaged skin. It is packed with powerhouse ingredients such as multiple peptides, 7 Brighteners, 9 Antioxidants, 16.5% Repair Complex, this helps stimulate collagen production, restores skin barrier & protects against environmental stressors. I use it in my morning routine after Rose water or after vit C serum; followed by SPF. It’s perfect for my dry skin and don’t feel need to add additional layer of oil or moisturiser over it. The texture is lightweight and nourishes skin without making it greasy. This one is about to get over & it would be a really sad empty! I love this moisturiser so much, I wish it wasn’t so expensive. I’ll repurchase it during sale definitely! Allies of Skin - Peptides & Antioxidants Firming Daily Treatment 𝘔𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘳 𝘚𝘪𝘭𝘬 𝘈𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘰 𝘏𝘺𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘊𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘳: This is a gentle foaming cleanser. It starts pf as a gel but foams once you add water. It’s almost like a double cleanse in one bottle. It has so many amazing ingredients like Silk Amino Acid, Organic Safflower Oil, Ethylated L-ascorbic Acid, Licorice Root Extract & Lactic Acid which is gentler than most AHAs, which helps brighten and hydrate dry, dull skin. It feels so luxurious and nourishing at the same time. It leaves my skin silky soft, supple and brighter. Allies of Skin - Molecular Silk Amino Hydrating Cleanser

luxury skincare: one hit, one miss, one meh
I want to preface this post with a few things. 1. I do not support Drunk Elephant. I do not recommend you buy from them. I do not think they are a good company. I don’t want to debate this in the comments, I just want to state my opinions of them up front. 2. “Luxury” is VERY subjective. MY luxury is $40+ for a product. Someone else’s luxury may be $25+. Someone else’s luxury may be $100+. I also don’t want to debate this in the comments. Be sensitive to people of all backgrounds + budgets. 3. I do not think Luxury = good, great, perfect. To me, it usually just means expensive and unobtainable. Allies of Skin - Triple Hyaluronic Antioxidant Hydration Serum I really really like this serum. It’s a little stinky, but doesn’t throw me off - a lot of people HATE IT though. This serum got me through some of my worst moisture barrier breakdowns, my worst breakouts, and worst dry skin I’ve ever had. It saved my skin some days. I cannot speak to the antioxidant benefits of this just yet- those take months and even years to see consistent results. I use two pumps in my morning routine after my toner and eye cream. I think it’s a huge step up from your Ordinary or Inkey List HA, so I count this as a HIT! Can be purchased on their website for $75. SHANI DARDEN SKIN CARE - Texture Reform Gentle Resurfacing Serum This is pretty good! I think it could be better for the price. The texture is smooth and applies well - no pilling or issues with irritation either. I use this once a week in my pm routine (no other exfoliants in the week, no other actives in the same routine). This one is a MEH for me, I think there are great exfoliants that rival this one for a fraction of the price. It’s a mild retinoid paired with lactic acidosis and aloe vera for a very unique set of ingredients. Available at Sephora for $88. DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Cream this is a total MISS for me. I thought I really liked it at first, but once I started using it consistently I realized I had so many other moisturizers in my collection that were MUCH cheaper than this that hydrated and moisturized my skin just as well, if not better. The texture is creamy and velvety, but kind of sits on top of my skin and doesn’t sink in very fast. Doesn’t really help my extreme dryness, but works well on normal skin. Has peptide complex that is pretty unique to this product! Available at Sephora for $68. The packaging is non recyclable because of the airless pump.

Bye, Light Moisturizer! Hello, Nourishing Cream
We’re shifting from summer to autumn in my locale, which means the air will be dry and the temperature will be dropping. I’ll be switching to more hydrating sunscreens, but the biggest change in my sensitive skin routine is shifting moisturizers. I have combination skin that gets very shiny in the humid summer, but I also have eczema which keeps my skin a bit pink and dry in the cooler seasons, so I switch my lightweight daytime moisturizer out for a bouncy gel-cream and an oil that I can layer on my drier spots! • Allies of Skin - Peptides & Antioxidants Firming Daily Treatment is a packed moisturizer- peptides, antioxidants, ceramide NP, and soothing ingredients like bisabolol make it amazing, though I don’t find the actual results after use particularly worth the $109 USD price tag. It was gifted and while I enjoyed it for summer, I found my cheeks got dry easily and my skin wasn’t particularly more firm or bright in the long run. This is too light for dry skin, or for my winter skin, so instead I’ll be switching to a combo of... • NATURIUM - Niacinamide Gel Cream 5% is a deliciously thick gel, consisting primarily of niacinamide and a slew of humectants suspended in water and silicone. The result? An intensely hydrating yet lightweight moisturizer that leaves skin silky and plump without shine or heaviness. It’s perfect in the summer with its $20 USD price tag, but using oil to seal in all of the watery goodness is going to be perfect for autumn and winter! • DRUNK ELEPHANT - Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil is heaven-sent for its luscious moisture. It sinks in quickly, leaves a satin finish that feels velvety to the touch, and never causes me to break out. Perfect for layering in my driest areas, and for using all over my face as the air gets drier and drier! I’ve tried multiple oils but this one has yet to be beat for how daytime-friendly it is. It’s a bit pricy though at $72 USD, so I’m excited to try out the Naturium VMO soon. #CheriePartner

DAY MASK
If there is one thing you should know about me, it’s that I take my masking SERIOUSLY. At times I wear my hydration masks for 3-4 hours 🙈 I’ve been looking for a day or sleeping mask and upon researching I found the worlds first LEAVE ON treatment mask by Allies of Skin. This powerful time-release formula contains the concentration and potency of a treatment mask with the ease of a moisturizer. It layers beautiful over sunscreen & primes perfectly under foundation, plus it is non-comedogenic (won’t clog pores). To me, there is no better feeling than a buttery smooth palette, full of essential nutrients, protective defenses, and moisture retention ingredients. The minute we expose ourself to air pollution, toxins, and environmental stressors, we increase the chance of skin damaging side effects such as age spots, irritation, fine lines and wrinkles. A broad spectrum sunscreen will only protect us from damaging UV rays, so in order to be fully protected, an antioxidant-rich product such as this, will complete the full protection. This leave on formula contains fat-soluble vitamin C, anti-inflammatory medical grade manuka honey, acne-fighting probiotics, & skin brightening niacinamide. All my masking dreams have come true with the ability to have it treating and protecting my skin ALL day! Allies of Skin - 1A All-Day Pollution Repair Mask #cheriecreator

Allies of skin !!
Formerly known as the @alliesofskin 1A all day pollution repair mask is an ultimate moisturizer supercharged with 7 brighteners, 9 antioxidants and 16.5% repair complexes which helps to reduce and combat inflammation and also helps skin from premature aging. Let's talk about some amazing ingredients found in this and one of them being Niacinamide which is such a multi purpose ingredient and every skin type and use. It has so many benefits like helping in pores, fade dark spots and even skin tone and also great for aging skin. The other interesting ingredient is Palmitoyl tripeptide-5, a potent active which helps in stimulating collagen production and keeps skin calm and rejuvenated. Some of the other ingredients are ceramides, honey, acai oil raspberry oil and HA which keeps skin hydrated and protected throughout the day. This product is rich in antioxidants which helps skin to retain its barrier and make it stronger against environmental stress. This multitasking product ensures skin stays protected, smooth a s healthy throughout the day. How I use it- I love to use this in the mornings. It's been a staple since the time I started using this and my skin looks much protected and less damaged at the end of the day. This gives me a smooth base and also protects my skin. I'm really enjoying @alliesofskin products and they work so well with other products too. Officially obsessed with all their products I have used so far. Next up I wanna try their promise blemish keeper and HA serum.

Is Luxury Retinal Worth It? 🤔
I have sensitive combination skin and I’m also acne-prone and deal with hormonal acne. This means that retinol is very important to my routine to increase cell turnover and help with breakouts. ✨This prodict is the 1A Retinal & Peptides Overnight Mask by Allies of Skin. It consists of a peptide complex, 9 antioxidants, 5 brighteners and retinaldehyde. I purchased this from the AoS website after seeing it all over the skincare Instagram community. ✨This product is luxury and super expensive at $109 for 1.7 oz. However, with all the rave reviews of this brand I figured I’d start with this item which I will shell out for so here we are. ✨The product says to use their probiotic mist before use for best results so I sometimes use one from a different brand that I love and put it on as my main product for the night besides cleansing beforehand then adding eye cream and lip balm. ✨It smells amazing. It’s refreshing in a light citrus kind of way. The texture itself is silky and light and the product is a light yellow color. 🌻I like this a lot but I’m not sure I’d buy it again because of the price point. I feel like it works in terms of helping with breakouts and I’m definitely curious to try the new formula without essential oils but this is highly expensive and I’ll probably try the Crystal Retinal by MediK8 next which has been on my list. If a product is this expensive, it has to be a miracle worker for me to buy it again at this rate. I will however be trying their Vitamin C and moisturizer at some point. I think if a product is amazing and the most effective, it is worth the splurge but I’m not sure this is the holy grail retinal for me. Products & Tips for Maskne 😷
I have sensitive combination skin that is acne-prone so wearing a mask constantly at work is not helpful for my skin progress. I’ve been recommending a few products to friends and family and figured I’d share what has been working for me! Morning Mask Routine 😷 1. Matcha Hemp Cleanser by Krave 2. Flawless Serum by SkinKissed (Vitamin C and HA) 3. Great Barrier Relief by Krave (just in mask area) 4. Daily Greens by Farmacy 5. The Beet Shield by Krave (everywhere!) Night Mask Routine 🌝 1. Very Cherry Clean Balm by Farmacy 2. Matcha Hemp Cleanser by Krave 3. Great Barrier Relief by Krave 4. Retinal Moisturizer by Allies of Skin 5. Facial Oil (sometimes & it varies) Heavy Hitters ⚾️ 1. Great Barrier Relief Serum by Krave This serum is incredible. It mimics your natural skin barrier so it is perfect for a damaged moisture barrier as well as providing a barrier between your skin and your mask. The Niacinamide in this is also very useful for breakouts! 2. Allies of Skin Retinal /Moisturizer (Vitamin A) You do not need to buy a super expensive retinal product to have an effective retinal. This was a special purchase for myself and I love it but cheaper options exist! Retinal/ Retinol products can be tricky if it’s your first time but they are essentially acne treatment products because they increase your skin cell turnover. I find they increase healing time and prevent breakouts in the first place and I LOVE them for breakouts and breaking a cycle of acne. Retinol Tips: ✨Use at night as main active ingredient (general rule of thumb is to avoid mixing with Vitamin C) ✨Start with small amounts 1-2 times a week and work your way to more consistent use ✨Your skin may “purge” for a few weeks while starting out. That’s normal and it will go away if it is from purging. This can mean breakouts. I also had some peeling when I first started. ✨Pair with a heavier moisturizer to combat any dryness 3. Very Cherry Clean by Farmacy It doesn’t have to be this exact cleansing balm but always double cleanse your skin after lots of mask wearing! This can be any oil-based cleanser. I personally love taking my time, throwing on some music and gently rubbing this on my face for like 10-15 minutes. Why? Because not only do I properly pull off any oil, dirt, makeup and SPF, but it also removes blackheads. So gross but honestly you can see it working if you do it long enough! Blackheads are oil so it makes sense that an oil would be great to clean them out. General Maskne Tips: 💦 Wash your masks between each use 💦 Double cleanse your face as soon as you get home 💦Using a clay mask or sulfur mask once or twice a week will help remove impurities from the skin 💦 Let your skin breathe when you can- I avoid foundation/ CC cream whenever possible and I think it helps me personally. 💦 If you’re really struggling, I’d recommend using the Healing Ointment as a day moisturizer. Talk about a barrier between your skin and your mask! What are your maskne tips??

Nighttime Skincare Routine
I started this routine using FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm to remove the days makeup and sunscreen. I double cleansed with YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser It’s a gentle gel cleanser that smells amazing and washes away the days dirt and grime, leaving my skin feeling soft and hydrated, never tight or dry. Next a spritz or two of Allies of Skin - Molecular Saviour Probiotics Repair Mist It’s a refreshing facial mist that leaves my skin nice and moist and ready for my choice of a nightly serum. DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Resurfacing Night Serum sloughs off dead skin cells as I sleep and leaves my skin and texture feeling so soft and smooth. I like to mix a few drops of DRUNK ELEPHANT - Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil to it and then apply. The last step is a good moisturizer. I like a moisturizer that is nourishing but not too heavy and I prefer them unscented. The PAULA'S CHOICE - Omega+ Complex Moisturizer fits the bill and finishes off my nighttime skincare routine nicely. Some nights I may use an overnight mask. Right now my favorites are YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Mask and SUMMER FRIDAYS - Jet Lag Mask Off to dreamland and ready to wake up with radiant glowing skin.🌛✨

The HGs of facial mists that change the game!
Ok— ill start this by saying: you’re either a mister or you’re not. You either love using a facial mist, or could care less and do not see the point. I’m here to tell you: no matter the skin type or concerns you have, you can always benefit from added hydration and locking in your precious skincare routine you just spent however long doing. Introducing my two favorite mists, that I use for two entirely different purposes: YTTP adaptogen soothe + hydrate activated mist and AOS molecular savior probiotics repair mist. YTTP Adaptogen soothe + hydrate activated mist is a HOLYGRAIL, game changing, mist for me. This is perfect for sensitive and irritated skin types but oily/normal/combo/& dry can benefit from this one! It claims to be an ultra- fine mist that hydrates, calms visible redness, and evens the look of skin tone with antioxidant- rich adaptogens, hyaluronic acid, and soothing peptides. It is to be “like a serum” in a mist. It definitely has a really refreshing, slightly milky, texture that comes out of the finest mister that I have ever experienced. I really love how cooling and soothing it is on the skin right away and it has really sturdy, beautiful, glass packaging. I use it a few different ways: as a mid day pick-me-up, right after cleansing as more of a toner, in between serum steps to keep my face damp, at the end of my routine to seal everything in, OR my favorite is as a layering serum spray. I like to apply a serum and then layer on this mist as a plumping essence-type delivery. It leaves my skin so hydrated! I highly recommend this for any and all skin types. Allies of Skin molecular savior probiotics repair mist: claims to be a godsend for thirsty skin. It is composed of an alcohol free aloe and rose water base and a reparative blend of probiotics and 6 antioxidants that leave your complexion glowing and dewy. This mist is actually so unique and I will never stop reaching for it. I have never had a mist KEEP THE GLOW like this one does. I religiously use it as a toner after I cleanse, to really pump up the hydration and help my following layers absorb deeper, and also to seal in my routine at the end. I swear nothing keeps my night routine locked down like this mist! I always wake up glowing and still deeply hydrated! That is huge for a dehydrated/dry girl like me. It is also packed with a super complex of brightening ingredients. It does have a slight floral scent to it, but no added fragrance. It comes out of the packaging a little aggressive— so I like to spritz it into my hands and pat into the skin. I highly recommend this mist as well, for all skin types. Do I love both of these mists? YES. But, I have two very different purposes for them and they will both forever be in my collection. Allies of Skin - Molecular Saviour Probiotics Repair Mist YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Adaptogen Soothe + Hydrate Activated Mist with Reishi + Ashwagandha

Allies of Skin - Molecular Multi-Nutrient Day Cream What it is: “A multitasking moisturizer supercharged with 1% dioic acid, 14 antioxidants, probiotics, centella asiatica and ribose, to revive your tired complexion, reduce imperfections and protect compromised skin.” Who’s it for: made for those with oily, acne-prone skin, but I think those with drier skin types can benefit as well by layering more hydrating serums underneath. Price: $99USD/50mL (1.69oz) Actives: contains niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and caffeine Ingredients: Aqua (Water), Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Lactobacillus Ferment, Lactobacillus Ferment Lysate Filtrate, Centella Asiatica (Gotu Kola) Leaf Extract, Acrylamide/Sodium Acryloyldimethyltaurate Copolymer, Albizia Julibrissin Bark Extract, Niacinamide, Rosa Canina (Rose Hip) Fruit Oil (Organic), Squalane, Calophyllum Inophyllum Seed Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Octadecenedioic Acid, Ribose (D), Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Saccharomyces/Xylinum/Black Tea Ferment, Honey (Mel), Zinc PCA, Camellia Oleifera (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Caffeine, Allantoin, Superoxide Dismutase, Plantago Lanceolata Leaf Extract, Moringa Oleifera Seed Extract, Centella Asiatica Meristem Cell Culture, Syringa Vulgaris (Lilac) Leaf Cell Culture Extract, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-8, Phospholipids, Sodium Hyaluronate (L), Marrubium Vulgare Meristem Cell Culture, Hydrolyzed Jojoba Esters, Glutamylamidoethyl Imidazole, Bisabolol (L-alpha), Ceramide NP, Hyaluronic Acid, Sphingolipids, Rosmarinyl Glucoside, Caffeyl Glucoside, Gallyl Glucoside, Tetrahydrodiferuloylmethane, Tetrahydrodemethoxydiferuloylmethane, Tetrahydrobisdemethoxydiferuloylmethane, Maltodextrin, Dextran, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Xanthan Gum, Isosorbide Dicaprylate, Caprylyl Glycol, Isohexadecane, Sodium Gluconate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Butylene Glycol, Sodium Hydroxide, Polysorbate 80, Phenoxyethanol. My thoughts: this worked really, really well on my oily, acne-prone skin. Although, I want to add that this isn’t the lightest cream ever; it does contain oils and can feel a bit rich but it dries down and didn’t leave me congested! It’s like it’s nourishing yet clarifying at the same time. With consistent use, I was seeing brighter, more even skin, and I really do think it’s helped calm cystic flare ups as well. I just love that this is a one and done product. I don’t have to worry about missing any important ingredients or try to remember what’s in what bc it’s all in here. I have the Daily Firming Treatment on deck once this baby runs out, although I have a feeling this one’ll be my new fav!!

Allies of Skin: 2 MUST-HAVES!
These were the first two Allies of Skin products that I’ve ever tried and I’m SO impressed with both of them!! The Peptides and Antioxidants Firming Daily Treatment has so many amazing ingredients that are meant to combat inflammation, firm the skin, and restore your skin barrier. I have been dealing with lots of new acne since Coronavirus started and they’ve been super inflamed and painful. I started using this treatment and I can honestly day that it helped with the inflammation SO much! I’ve also noticed that acne scars have been less red and much my complexion in general is much brighter. The Molecular Multi-Nutrient Day Cream is a multi-tasking daytime moisturizer which helps reduce imperfections and reduce stress-breakouts. This moisturizer is THE PERFECT amount of hydration for my skin! It has made my skin SO soft and so smooth! It gives me a subtle glow that looks so natural- not greasy or oily at all (which a lot of other moisturizers have done 🥺). This one is just so perfect! I can apply makeup over it and it looks so good! Overall, I’m super happy with both of these products and I’m so glad that I’ve started using Allies of Skin. I’ve noticed overall less acne, less hyperpigmentation, and healthier, glowier skin. I would 10/10 recommend both of these products. If you’re interested in the brand, I definitely think you should try their products! The price point is a little higher but they are SO worth it! #CherieCreator

💦 Product Review. If you are looking for a hydrating cleanser, this Allies of Skin Molecular Silk Amino Hydrating Cleanser is IT. This one is so dang good like, wowowowow!! The cleanser (kindly gifted) has a pH of 5.5 and is supercharged with a hydrating blend of Antioxidants, Silk Amino Acids, Hyaluronic Acid, Organic Safflower & Moringa Oil and it will gently, ever so gently, remove dirt, grime, and make up without stripping your skin. It's a juicy gel like texture that glides onto the skin. It feels so luxurious and nourishing and it will leave your skin silky soft, supple, and brighter. Cleansing is my favorite part of the skincare routine and this cleanser puts me in the right mood every time. Have you tried this yet?

Allies of Skin Vitamin C 35% C
Allies of Skin Vitamin C 35% Collagen Rebuilding Serum. First of all, this is by far the best Vitamin C Serum/Cream/product I’ve ever tried. It has a bit of an oily consistency, but sinks in after a minute & doesn’t leave an oily residue at all. It has a faint smell, that honestly reminds of a milder version of the DE Vitamin C Serum that dissipates straight away. There is zero sting upon application. I’ve been using this serum for about 4 months now, always in the am & sometimes in the pm, but not consistently in the pm. My skin has brightened considerably & so many of my pigmentation marks have lightened/faded completely. I saw the brightening effects so quickly with this serum that I wasn’t sure if I believed it. The great & unique thing about this Vitamin C is that it has shown no signs of oxidizing & that’s because of its airless pump. This is the world’s first waterless formula with 35% concentration. It contains 25% Ethylated L-Ascorbic Acid + 10% Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate. It is supercharged with next generation antioxidant complex ensuring & strengthening the potency of the Vitamin C. Overtime Collagen production is boosted & the serum starts working its magic. I’m impressed. Beyond impressed. It is pretty expensive, but I don’t think any other Vitamin C has changed my skin this much, so I will have to repurchase.

Some newbies in a silver & gol
Some newbies in a silver & gold theme. ▪️Pat McGrath Skin Fetish Foundation & Primer. First impressions of the foundation is that it’s superb. Really lightweight, semi-matte in a comfortable way. The primer I’m kind of not feeling it fully but needs more testing with other foundations . ▪️Rituel de Fille Rare Light Luminizer Icebow. This was a new shade only available in a set. I normally hate buying a set for one item but I love their Rare Light Luminzers and haven’t tried the concealer yet. ▪️May Lindstrom The Blue Cocoon. I grabbed a new jar so I would have it in the fall. The free Youth Dew promo was too good to pass up. ▪️Allies of Skin Bright Future Sleeping Facial. This is the new reformulated version. No pilling 🙌 Use this for 2-3 nights in a row as a powerful brightener. ▪️Primera Miracle Seed Essence. I finally caved and grabbed it. Light slippery texture, nice glass bottle. ▪️SkinMedica TNS Ceramide Treatment Cream. This has a thick texture but it’s actually pretty light. Great for soothing and repairing. ▪️Byredo Chai Candle. Warm & spicy.

My Fav Products of Alliesofskin This Month
My Fav Products of Alliesofskin This Month
🙋🏻‍♀️ Hi, my name is Cathy and I'm an Allies of Skin addict. It's been about a month and my skin loves these products and I'm here to share my first impressions with you all. · 𝑻𝒓𝒊𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝑯𝒚𝒂𝒍𝒖𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒄 𝑨𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒙𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝑯𝒚𝒅𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒖𝒎 Allies of Skin - Triple Hyaluronic Antioxidant Hydration Serum 𝑻𝒓𝒊𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝑯𝒚𝒂𝒍𝒖𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒄 𝑨𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒙𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝑯𝒚𝒅𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒖𝒎 is a hydration + repair serum, supercharged with 3 forms of HA, antioxidants, niacinamide, and strawberry fruit extracts. I've been using this baby 2x a day and I find that it keeps my skin super hydrated throughout the day while also making my skin look nice and plump. · 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒄 𝑷𝒊𝒈𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑪𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒓 𝑵𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒖𝒎 Allies of Skin - Mandelic Pigmentation Corrector Night Serum 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒄 𝑷𝒊𝒈𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑪𝒐𝒓𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒓 𝑵𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒖𝒎 has a blend of mandelic, lactic, & salicylic acid along with brighteners, antioxidants, and peptides to treat pigmentation, blackheads, large pores, breakouts, and uneven texture. I use this during the evenings and this product has made my skin look so smooth, bright, and clear of acne. · 𝑨 𝑹𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒍 & 𝑷𝒆𝒑𝒕𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒔 𝑶𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝑴𝒂𝒔𝒌 Allies of Skin - 1A Retinal & Peptides Overnight Mask 𝑨 𝑹𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒍 & 𝑷𝒆𝒑𝒕𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒔 𝑶𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝑴𝒂𝒔𝒌 has a blend of retinals, peptides, antioxidants, and brighteners to combat blemishes, smooth wrinkles, & reverse sun damage. And oh my god, was I impressed! I used to have these really, really stubborn sun spots & tiny bumps around my cheeks but after using this bb, I saw that they slowly starting to disappear and it's giving my skin a brand, new life. I did realize that it dries out my T-zone if used alone but, when mixed with the other products, it doesn't bother my skin at all. I absolutely 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 all 3 products. My skin is completely addicted to them and it's evidently clear how happy my skin becomes when I apply these babies on my face. Also, have you heard the Public Service Announcement? AOS is coming out with a new brand @psaskin and I'm so thrilled to see what goodies they will be launching! Anyway! If you made it all the way down to here, happy Sunday & happy International Women's Day! Xoxo 💕
