KBEAUTY SAVED MY SKIN🥰
I know tons of people now use Korean skincare products, however it’s been part of my routine for almost 4 years now and I haven’t looked back!☺️ SWIPE 👉🏽 for my raw skin!! Kbeauty is the one line of skincare I think everyone at least needs to try because not only is it affordable but the ingredients are insanely good and formulation is everything ✊🏽 it’s stuff you won’t get here from western brands, and if you do, it’s extremely overly priced When I first got into skincare to help with my acne, on a whim I decided to try a whole Korean line without even knowing. When my skin calmed down from using a line that had nothing to do with claiming to help you acne, I knew I had to do more research! 🥳 this is where I found out more about the kbeauty world and overtime, my collection has grown and these are some of my favourites💕 COSRX - Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence an amazingly hydrating essence/serum gel that works wonderfully on damp skin kind of like a HA which has helped overall hydrate my skin, keep it plump and not dry it out + helps with any hyperpigmentation (it’s slow but effective) I'm from - Rice Toner another amazing toner that has rice extract and niacinamide added to really help hydrate and soothe the skin and immediately brighten my skin!! This is my go to morning toner and my second bottle because I’m in love!!❤️ THE FACE SHOP - Chia Seed Hydrating Lotion my pm toner snd the line that really started my kbeauty journey and helped completely clear my skin in a couple months! Chia seed is such a powerful ingredient in skincare and in food and my gosh is this hydrating and instantly soothing. I will forever to continue to buy from this line (especially the moisturizer) because I know it works for me all the time! I'm from - Mugwort Essence second bottle and I can never stop talking about it! After hearing about tea tree and it working sometimes for me, I found out about mugwort and how it’s referred to as the Korean tea tree but soothing and way less irritating and my gosh they got this right! One of my all time favourite products! I apply two layers am and pm and my skin instantly feels soothed and relaxed and also helps with any irritation or acne ☺️ COSRX - Ultimate Nourishing Rice Overnight Spa Mask I use this as a moisturizer during the night and even sometimes in the day! It’s super hydrating without being heavy. It also has some niacinamide for that brightening affect. It sinks right in and leaves your skin feeling moisturized and not greasy and my gosh, this is also wonderful under makeup! Again, kbeauty really knows what they are doing and my gosh, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to just stop using Korean skincare! #cheriepartner

NEED HELP! YesStyle Haul: What do I do??
So I’ve been watching James Welsh videos (love him to bits) and decided I’m going to really, finally, actually, seriously create and follow a skincare routine. I’ve made that decision maybe 14 times already in the last 5 years but something tells me I’m really going to follow through with it this time..!🤞🏻 I got COSRX - Low PH Good Morning Gel Cleanser, COSRX - BHA Blackhead Power Liquid, I'm from - Rice Toner, PURITO - Centella Green Level Buffet Serum, PURITO - Pure Vitamin C Serumand THE FACE SHOP - Rice & Ceramide Moisturizing Facial Toner. I know the basic order of things: cleanser, toner, serum, moisturizer... But I have 2 serums here (I think), and I’m not sure if some of these products are better for am or pm, and/or if they’re not meant to be layered on top of each other... Please send help!😣 Here’s what I was thinking of doing: AM: 1. Cleanse with the gel cleanser 2. BHA power liquid 3. Rice ceramide emulsion PM: 1. Cleanse with gel cleanser 2. Rice toner 3. Vitamin c serum 4. Centella serum 5. Rice ceramide emulsion I’m worried about doing BHA and Vitamin C serum together. How would you do it?

Thou shall hydrate thy skin.
Learning how to properly hydrate my skin was a game changer in improving my hormonal acne. Not only does it provide instant relief and skin plumping abilities, but overtime it has helped balance my oily skin and improved my overall skin health. It is like adding milk to a cupcake mix, you need it to complete the recipe. This is what's currently on my rotation: I'm from - Mugwort Essence - The hype is real - this is a beautiful essence that feels instantly soothing on first application. It is a viscous texture that leaves the skin plump, juicy, and glowy and slowly evens out minor bouts of redness. I never thought anything would be more effective at calming my skin than centella, but this proved me wrong. It plays nicely with other products, is easy to layer and packs a good punch of hydration. I did notice that overtime my skin became less reactive and has been helpful for keeping my skin healthy and happy. I went on a short trip last month and didn't use this for a few days (the glass bottle is not ideal to travel with), my skin was definitely more reactive and irritated. I may repurchase in the future, but I have other mugwort/artemisia first essences on my list. Benton - Deep Green Tea Toner - A refreshing toner that is weightless but has a good amount of hydration after 2-3 layers. I prefer this over the Isntree green tea toner (which I found too astringent for my skin). It did somewhat calm redness and breakouts (not as drastically as the mugwort essence) and helped to balance out oil production. I prefer this in the summertime, but anyone living in the more humid climate will likely enjoy this toner. Since it's colder in Canada, I pair this with I'm From Mugwort Essence for a more comforting balance. NIOD - Superoxide Dismutase Saccharide Mist - I was the most excited about this due to its cult following. It's touted as a dermal treatment mist with potent antioxidant properties and fights inflammation while delivering high levels of hydration. I must admit I didn't get off to a good start with this mist - my barrier was slightly sensitized from retinoid treatment and this stung upon application. After my barrier healed, this felt comfortable, plumping and hydrating on the skin. This didn’t exactly help in terms of calming my skin or reducing redness, especially compared to the mugwort essence. I think this would be more suitable for people concerned with photoaging. That said, it is still a nice hydrating mist and great way to incorporate reliable antioxidants into your routine. What are some of your favourite hydrators?

Korean Skincare Haul !!! ✨✨
If you haven’t dabbled into Korean skincare it’s time to hop on the wagon ! Some of the best products I’ve used that truly changed my skin are by K-beauty. By uncovering new and effiacious ingredients, they create innovative formulas that are both gentle and effective. Best part of k-beauty is how affordable they are. Western skincare has convinced us that in order to have good skin you have to spend a lot of money. K-beauty challenges that concept by creating products with high quality ingredients and formulas while still remaining budget friendly. Starting off with products I repurchased are PURITO - Centella Unscented Toner I love this product, this really helps to bring down inflammation on the skin, it’s soothing, calming, and it’s very hydrating on the skin as well. I like to use this when I don’t want to use any products with actives and I just want to focus on repairing my moisture barrier. PURITO - Centella Unscented Toner This is the toner version of serum I just mentioned. Centella is one of my favorite ingredients to use in my skincare. It’s benefits include anti aging, it’s anti inflammatory, helps even out your skin, hydration, and healing. I love the texture and feel to this. It’s a little thicker than any of my other toners but when applied it seeps into your skin quickly without leaving a sticky feel on your face. innisfree - Green Tea Fresh Toner Another favorite toner of mine and a great staple to add to your routine. The first ingredient listed is Green tea extract meaning your getting the highest concentration of green tea as the first ingredient in this product. I love to use this in my morning routine to give my skin an extra boost hydration throughout the day. Not to mention fragrance free 😍 Products I’m excited to try: Benton - Benton Snail Bee Ultimate SerumFrom reviews I’ve read, this is soothing, hydrating, brightening, and helps protect against moisture loss. It’s a non-irritating formula that should be easy to incorporate even for sensitive skin. Super excited to try this out ! I'm from - Rice TonerI’ve been so anxious to try this from hearing so many good things about it. It’s a lightweight formula that delivers hydration and gives the skin that instant brightening effect we all love. Great for both oily and dry skin. I'm from - Honey MaskI love honey ! It’s a great humectant, great for irritated skin, good for acne, and intense moisture. There is 38.7% of real high quality Korean honey. Great for most skin types. If you have any product recommendations for dry acne prone skin leave them in the comments. Let’s help each other out 🥰#skincarehaul #skincareandshare 🤍🤍🤍

Current Favorite Masks
dear, klairs - Youthful Glow Sugar Mask I was very skeptical of this product because I really don't like physical exfoliators but I really love this product. I applied the mask to my face and left it on for 10 minutes. My skin was very hydrated and looked very bright afterwards. I didn't scrub very much instead I used warm water to rinse my face. PETER THOMAS ROTH - Cucumber Gel Mask Extreme Detoxifying Hydrator I do find this mask to be very hydrating and cooling but its just not my favorite. Although I do use it every other day to soothe my skin from all the active ingredients I have been using lately. I do plan on re-purchasing. I'm from - Honey Mask I saved the best for last! I love love love this mask. The texture, the natural smell and how my skin looks afterwards. Recently I have a eliminated all synthetic fragrance from my skin care routine. So it's nice to have a nice smell from a product. I truly believe that Honey has antibacterial properties and this mask helps combat my minimal acne. My skin is very hydrated afterwards. I will definitely be re-purchasing this mask. Any suggestions on hydrating mask??? I'd love to hear your feedback.

New purchases 🍑🍙🍯
I’ve finally run out of most of the products I got 6ish months ago from yesstyle. After years of problematic skin, I decided to try out Korean et al., skincare. After seeing results in real time, there was no turning back. Here are the few, new products I ordered. So far, I am loving everything. The maelove serum, I reviewed it a couple weeks ago, and I have to say, with continuous use, I’m seeing a difference with my skin! I’m hoping that the above products will augment that difference. Let me know if any of these products interest you for a detailed review :) unfortunately the neogen sunscreen is not taggable. Honestly I got it on a whim, has anyone else used it? Hm, but since it’s a chemical sunscreen, and I am pretty prone to irritation, maybe I should opt for a mineral sunscreen? I’m not sure — there are so many differing info out there! Do you guys have any thoughts about this?

@Andreaschas oily acne prone and a little sensitive skin. She has some pimples, pores, blackheads, and some redness. Move over, Drunk Elephant! ✌🏽
DRUNK ELEPHANT - Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser Tried the Drunk Elephant Slaai Butter Cleanser earlier this year and I really do not understand the hype around it. I found it quite hard to emulsify, it smelled like frybread (Natives will get this), it was hard to get off of my face (or my eyes!!!!) and it did not do the greatest job at removing all my makeup. Fortunately, it did not make me breakout, but at that price I was expecting it to perform better than it did. DE also treat their customers like crap, so I don't think I will be repurchasing anything from them. In the morning, I use: The Ordinary - Squalane Cleanser I put heavier serums and moisturizers at night, so I like to gently double cleanse it the morning too. I found this one is totally ok for the price point. Emulsifies well, hydrates and the texture is nice. It kind of feels like a moisturizer when you squeeze it out of the tube, but it slightly melts when in contact with heat. Nothing revolutionary, but sometimes you just want something that does the job. At night, I use: I'm from - Fig Cleansing Balm This stuff is great if you have extra bucks to spend (you do get a lot of product though). This balm melts into an oil that is almost silky and you don't have to tug to get it off after emulsifying it. Emulsifies easily. It's not congesting my pores or leaving oily residues behind. It also does a great job at removing my makeup. Do you need to spend that much on a cleansing balm? Absolutely not. Is it nice though? Yes. I feel less clogged than when I used the DE one. Slight scent, but I wash off the product so I don't mind it. I have oily skin and it took me some time to get into cleasing balms or oils because it was not very instinctive for me. The DE one kind of traumatized me, but this one leaves my skin so soft. I think I found THE cleansing balm for now. Really hope they will reformulate it without the polyethylene though. 💫

3 Ingredients for Combating Unhealthy Air 🔥🌫
My heart breaks seeing my loved ones grapple in uncertainty, one disaster after another. 😷 If you’re feeling helpless, that is understandable and totally okay. If skincare is one of the things you hold onto as therapy, you are not alone. You’re not being too materialistic or selfish to enjoy simple items during this time when we all desperately crave for distractions. Skincare in many ways, was the therapy I couldn’t afford. Skincare advice online doesn’t account enough for the variety of climates we live in. As someone who travels between different climates, I have grown mindful of these differences. California tends to be pretty dry already but with the fires, it’s only exacerbated the situation. Here are some quick swaps to those affected by current air conditions and/or those living in dry climates: 1. Cleansing Balms >> Cleansing Oils. I’ve found cleansing balms more friendly as a first cleanse for dry skin types and drier climates. As many balms leave more of a film, I find them more effective at preventing transepidermal water loss. A lot contain polyethylene which is not the most environmentally friendly but definitely shop around for one that contains the oils for your skin type! The one I have contains fig water oil and enriched keratinase for proper cleansing. Make sure to apply onto dry skin for best results! I'm from - Fig Cleansing Balm 2. HONEY EVERYTHING. (Including propolis extract and royal jelly) Super moisturizing and soothing ingredient known to the history of mankind. Has historically been used to treat wounds and burns, honey and its relatives serve as humectants with antioxidant, antibacterial and antifungal properties that will do parched skin real justice. The I’m From Honey Mask pictured above is one of my favorite masks for dry climates and I will never stop raving about how delicious it smells and feels!! I'm from - Honey Mask 3. Oat (Sativa) Extracts in Moisturizer and SPF. If you have to leave the house, don’t forget to apply sunscreen DESPITE the false sense of time with the lack of sun. I would especially look for SPF that serves well as a moisturizer, particularly one that contains oats/beta-glucan for calming inflamed and potentially itchy skin from all the dust and smoke. Aveeno products are known to have plenty of oat ingredients, as the sunscreen I have pictured above. This one is slightly scented though, so I would caution for those with chemical sensitivity! Aveeno - Protect + Hydrate Lotion Sunscreen Cheers and stay safe everyone 🥂

Savior!
This cream contains 73.55% of Mugwort Extract which is crazyyy. Mugwort is known for its antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties. It soothes, heals, and nourishes the skin and also helps treat redness and other skin issues. Mugwort is also packed with antioxidants and vitamin E that help protect and nourish the skin barrier. This cream has a very light and mild cream-like texture that hugs skin and absorbs quickly without any sticky feeling. It is so moisturizing. I love a cream that’s very hydrating but doesn’t feel heavy or greasy on the skin. It has helped a lot with my maskacne. It soothes and calms down my skin. It also helps a lot with inflammation and redness. This cream is great for all skin types especially acne prone skin like mine. A must have for me✨

Part 3: my quest for the perfect gel moisturizer
I tried 7 different gel moisturizers so you don’t have to! Part 3/3 (Parts 1 and 2 are on my page) I'm from - Mugwort Cream This one was another Liah Yoo favorite that I really wanted to like, but missed the mark for me. It has a nice buttery, gel-cream texture. The scent is quite intense—to me, it smells like pickle juice when wet/in the jar, and like those Chinese herb apothecaries when it dries 😂 The scent does fade after a few hours though. I actually felt like this product was the right amount of moisture and occlusiveness for me, but I think I have a sensitivity to the high amount of mugwort essence. My skin would get little red patches/bumps when I used this product. I’ve tried using it on my hands too as a hand cream, and get the little bumps on my hands too. If you aren’t sensitive to plant extracts or fermented plant extracts, I would recommend giving this a try, but otherwise be sure to patch test before you use it. TONYMOLY - The Chok Chok Green Tea Moist Cream This product has a nice fluffy gel-cream texture and sinks quickly and nicely into the skin. This also felt like the right amount of occlusiveness to me, but I wasn’t a fan of the fragrant essential oils in the product. It has a pretty strong floral/perfumed scent. I ended up finishing off the jar as a hand and foot cream. Would recommend this only if you are not sensitive to fermented plant extracts and/or fragrant oils. Overall thoughts This concludes my gel moisturizers review! At the end of the day, I think as I’ve started using more hydrating serums and essences, my skin type has changed from oily (which is what I always thought I had) to combo with particularly dry patches on my cheeks. Given this, I’ve concluded that gel moisturizers in general may not be a good fit for my skin anymore. I am now in the market for a good cream or lotion based moisturizer for daytime and will be posting my reviews for those products as I try them. Please let me know if you have any recommendations! Thanks for reading!

Sharing some of my new and old favorite wash-off masks! Klavuu Special Care Pearl Glow Mask - white pearl extract as one of the main ingredients help instantly brighten the skin for an even complexion while the kaolin and bentonite clay gets rid of impurities. Love the texture and the holographic look of this mask! Althea Milk Peel Cream Mask - a gentle exfoliator that transforms from clay to a bubbly whipped texture (that kinda tingles and tickles your face as it works into the skin!). Has both AHA and BHA extracts as well as casein protein that comes from milk to rejuvinate skin. I’ve only tried this once and noticed how blurred my pores around my cheek area looked after washing it off, so definitely looking forward to using this more. Imfrom Ginseng Mask from wishtrendstory - formulated with 3.97% ginseng extract that is designed to naturally open up your pores to cleanse and flush gunk out of your face. This is supposed to have heating properties that aids absorption of the active ingredients but I didn’t really feel much of that. Definitely added elasticity to my lifeless skin while still keeping it hydrated. Do note that the scent of this mask could be too much for some when you smell it right out of the jar, but doesn’t really stick around once it’s on your face.

havent done a texture day in months but figured I'd do one with some lovely textures that have joined my skincare stash. Wanted to call out a few here with my all-time favorite ingredients - pumpkin, ginseng, and green tea. 💫 Savor Beauty Pumpkin Enzyme Peel - I finally got this after months of eyeing it! It's infused with 5% lactic acid, pumpkin enzymes, amino acids, and beta-carotene to help brighten your skin and help fade dark spots. Doesn't it just look like pumpkin puree? 💫 Wishtrend Ginseng Mask - I've been wanting this mask for about 8 months and cannot be happier that it is by my side. It's a very unique mask in that it feels you're straight up putting syrup on your skin. Looks very sticky but doesnt feel like that on your skin at all. Your girl likes anything ginseng and this mask did not disappoint! 💫 Amore Pacific Time Response Eye Reserve Creme - this comes at a hefty price tag because of its exclusive Chrono-T technology that extracts high concentrations of green tea and catechins from green tea. It's definitely a game changer for anti aging. It also has shea butter that adds to the soft and buttery texture!

Fig essence ? Ohh yesss !
A few weeks back wishtrend announce they needed beauty testers for the new Im from fig line. I dont have an essence in my skincare routine and I’ve never tried a fig skincare product so I decided to apply for the essence. So glad i got chosen to test it out. The Fig Boosting Essence is made from 62.7% fig extract, it settles deep in to the skin for a moisturizing finish. NMF Peptides and amino acids form a moisture barrier for full hydration and also offers anti-aging antioxidants. I been using this essence for 3 weeks, and so far I’m loving it. My skin gets very dehydrated so this gives me so much hydration. I don’t even have to use an emulsion after using this essence. I apply a few coats, depending on how dehydrated my skin feels. The formula is very liquidity and non sticky, doesn’t have a scent either which is perfect because my skin gets a bit irritated with some products that contain high fragrance. I love how my skin fully absorbs this ready for my next step. I'm from - Fig Boosting Essence * Kindly gifted for my honest review Thank you @wishtrend @bywishtrend

Trying out Korean skincare! 💫
Lately I’ve been reading so many blogs and watching heaps of YouTube videos on Korean skincare and its safe to say I’m obsessed! Its a whole new world compared to “Western Skincare” - so many other new ingredients and solutions and I became overwhelmed with choices very quickly. 🤯 Thankfully, one of my good friends gave me a few samples to try! The brand “I’m from” is one that I was so eager to try as I’ve read amazing things - so please if anyone else has any recommendations from their line - let me know! 🤩 I'm from - Ginseng Serum Firstly, I am in love with the smell of this serum! It gives off this caramelised honey scent that smells like you could eat it! 😍 Ginseng serum is aimed to increase collagen and regenerate and restore the skins natural barrier. Because I’m an avid retinol user, I often look for serums that are about strengthening the skin. For me I love the initial use of this product. It absorbs really quickly and doesn’t leave a sticky or oily residue. After applying at night, I woke up to no irritation or breakouts and my skim did feel slightly less dry. Since serums do need a few weeks to see a noticeable difference - I’ve had to mark a star down due to not knowing the full effectiveness. But from first impressions I will definitely be purchasing a full size product and hopefully after a few weeks of usage I can give it that last star! 👍🏽 PURITO - Dermide Cica Barrier Sleeping Pack This stuff is serious business! My skin wanders between normal and dry, however when my skin does get dry, I’m always searching for a quick fix skin-drink to get my face back in order. And, here is it! This sleeping leave on mask contains Ceramide, Squalene, and Hyaluronic Acid. It’s super nourishing and moisturising and is a life changer for us dry skin girls! It’s definitely not a daily moisturiser however I would recommend it as an overnight mask 2-3 times a week. 👍🏽 I'm from - Vitamin Tree Water Gel I tried not to let my bias for cream moisturisers cloud my judgement and I really wanted to like this one because of all the amazing reviews, but unfortunately it wasn’t for me! I will say that the product does advertise as best suited for oily skin types which I am not - so I started off not doing myself any favours 😅 I liked that there was no off putting fragrance, however you can definitely smell a silicone vibe. I did feel that nice cooling sensation which I liked and I personally didn’t have any irritation to the product at all, but that’s where my positives stop unfortunately! The product took more than 20 minutes to absorb and even then it wasn’t absorbed completely as I was still left with a sticky residue - I’m unsure how this would sit under make up. 😞 Overall I wouldn’t purchase a full size however for oily skin peeps this may be a completely different outcome ☺️

AMAZING oily skin moisturizer
I have such oily and acne prone skin, not to mention sensitive and irritated like always. I’ve tried several gel moisturizers over the years and some I really enjoyed and others just got the job done. I then stumbled upon this one online and I was super intrigued by the entire ImFrom line and let me just say not only has this become one of my favourite moisturizers ever but so has the entire line If you have oily skin and are a little more used to moisturizing and using gel formulas, this is a great addition to your shelf of skincare ☺️ I love it because in the winter my skin does tend to feel more irritated and right and this is light but heavy enough to keep my skin moisturized and not make my skin cracked

A HUGE LET DOWN
I was so excited to receive this product over a month ago! I heard only great things about this ginseng serum and what it would do for my skin Basically it claimed to be a frat anti-aging product by proving elasticity to the skin and nourishing it! All sounds good right? And it felt amazing too. Can’t lie, my skin felt extremely nourished, not oily! Just healthy. However, once I started using this product, I would break out constantly and I wasn’t sure if it was this product but kept using it constantly, day and a night! After 20+ days, I had enough and just stopped using it to see if keep breaking out because I couldn’t tell if this product was running my skin. And what happened? I stopped breaking out. So now not only am I upset but also mad that my skin went through that whole mess for almost a month lolI'm from - Ginseng Serum

 mugwort line from imfrom

The
mugwort line from imfrom The mask has actual tiny pieces of mugwort in it and is almost like a mugwort smoothie - it's super refreshing and leaves my skin calm and toned. The essence is made from 100% mugwort extract that has been fermented for 3 years!!!! I expected it to feel watery but it actually has a very nice slip to it and seems super hydrating! I haven't tried the sheet mask yet but I have a feeling they will all go well together. Any other mugwort fans out there?

The secret to baby soft skin?
The secret to baby soft skin?
I'm from - Mugwort Essence I got this product because mugwort is known for its calming and anti bacterial properties and I have been having a lot of redness lately. It did help with calming down redness and inflammation. But I was even more impressed about How soft it made my skin!! My skin has never felt this soft before! It took me a couple days too really see a difference but this stuff REALLY works just for plumping and hydrating the skin. Definently reccomemd👍🏼

This mask calms skin and soothes while removing redness. The mask is naturally fragrant and doesn’t have a strong scent. After use, my skin felt very cooled and fresh. Definitely try this out!I'm from - Mugwort Mask

5 Toners for Every Dry Skin Personality
5 Toners for Every Dry Skin Personality
1. Dry and acne-prone looking for firmer skin. The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution Not a toner for the weak and sensitive, TO’s Glycolic Acid Toner is a great option if you want to seriously minimize pores, reduce acne and brighten skin. My skin personally feels sensitized when I use it in the AM so be sure to layer extra SPF if you are a daytime wearer. I prefer this in a PM routine when I want to take a break from other actives/acids. 2. Dry and looking for soft, dewy skin. I'm from - Rice Toner I love this toner when I want soft, supple skin. It leaves an appropriate layer of hydrating shine on my face when I want that quick “glass” skin look. Keeps my skin feeling dewy for a few hours so I will reapply in the afternoon when I feel dried out again. Because the ingredients are mostly humectants, I love layering it under serums that contain a lot of actives like Vit C and retinol! 3. Dry and struggling with dullness. GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Brightening Toner This is a true ingredient-minded toner and my absolute favorite way of sneaking niacinamide into my skincare routine. This toner really acts as a 3 in 1 package with niacinamide, vit C and arbutin. I use this in the AM and PM, under both acidic and milder serums. May be too sensitizing for some. It’s an appropriate amount of hydrating, which I appreciate! 4. Dry and wanting a toner that acts as a lotion. ROVECTIN - Rovectin Skin Essentials Activating Treatment Lotion This toner claims to have 7 different types of hylauronic acid, kind of like Hado Labo’s toner lotion. I like that it’s scent-free but it definitely lacks a wow factor. I would only recommend if you’re looking for a two step routine with “toner” and an additional moisturizer only. 5. Dry and looking for a toner to layer under makeup/serums. dear, klairs - Supple Preparation Facial Toner This was my go-to toner for years. Faintly lavender-scented, this toner is hydrating and not intense at all. It’s great for layering under actives and makeup.

What I learned, scavenged, and loved this month! 🔎 In the Literature: 1. Ferulic acid doubles the sun-protective effects that Vit C + E have versus Vit C (ascorbic acid)+ E alone. 2. Bakuchiol, a plant extract used in Indian and Chinese medicine, has a mechanism of action similar to retinol- both upregulate collagen production. Formulations with bakuchiol + retinol have shown more effective in anti-aging than retinol alone. 3. Jojoba oil is actually a wax ester, a fatty molecule that structurally looks super similar to the fatty molecules of our sebum, hence why it meshes so well with our skin! 🔎 In Skincare: 1. GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Brightening Toner 2. GOOD MOLECULES - Overnight Exfoliating Treatment 3. I'm from - Honey Mask 🔎 In Makeup etc: 1. PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Murumuru Butter Bronzer in Light 2. Glossier. - Niteshine Highlighter Concentrate 3. NYX - Lip Lingerie Push-Up Long-Lasting Lipstick in Bedtime Flirt Cheers🥂

Fig essence ? Ohh yesss !
