2 minute polishing peel - does it work?
Ever since I discovered chemical exfoliates, physical exfoliaters have been left in the dust. That was until I tried this 2 minute treatment fro purlisse pūrlisse - Watermelon Energizing 2 Minute Polishing Peel This peel resurfaces skin to brighten and improve complexion! It’s got glycolic acid, so it leaves the skin feeling noticeably softer. Other key ingredients include Watermelon Seed Oil, Watermelon Fruit Extract, and Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, How it works: Apply product to freshly cleansed skin, set a timer for 2 minutes, then gently rinse. That’s it! It’s super simple. I recommend use once a week, or every other week.

🍉 Watermelon Polishing Peel 🍉
One of my favorite gentle exfoliating masks is the pūrlisse - Watermelon Energizing 2 Minute Polishing Peel which combines chemical, enzymatic, and physical exfoliation in an amazing 2 minute mask. The exfoliants: -chemical: lactic and glycolic acid -enzymatic: papain and bromelain -physical: pumice Purlisse describes it as a product that “resurfaces skin to brighten and improve complexion” and I couldn’t agree more! The acids and enzymes gently remove dead skin cells and the physical abrasion removes them leaving me with a fresh face! To use: -spread a thin layer on a wet face -leave on for 2 minutes -rinse off and gently rub in circles MY TAKE: 🍉 I love how fast this mask is! It means I can really fit it into my day without excuses 🍉 Purlisse markets this for daily use...I wouldn’t use it quite that often but I have used it 3x a week without any irritation 🍉 I love the combination of AHAs and enzymes that break down dead skin SO gently. I have no tingling while this is on the way stronger enzyme or chemical exfoliating masks usually do. 🍉 The physical exfoliant is pumice. Not my favorite, but I add water and am extremely gentle with it and have not seen any issues come up! 🍉 This smells like a watermelon jolly rancher which could be a good or bad thing depending on your preferences. I usually don’t love strong smells, but actually enjoy this. **side note: this has added fragrance which I normally don’t love, but the product is ok for such a short amount of time that I haven’t had any issues with it 🍉 This mask does what it says it will! It leaves my pores clean and looking smaller and leaves my skin super soft and looking energized! 🍉 I also love to do this before another mask like the frank body - Glow Mask(a combo that truly leaves me glowing!) to help the second mask absorb more effectively What’s your favorite way to incorporate watermelon into your skincare?

BB cream - hot or flop? 👀
Let me preface this by saying that I stan Korean skincare products! It’s usually affordable, incredible quality and formulated to create plump and dewy skin ✨ I had never thought about exploring Korean makeup until I got this BB cream from Purlisse, one is my favorite kbeauty brands on the market. I was instantly intrigued because it has SPF in it! It’s actually pretty hydrating, so I don’t need moisturizer but I still layer it on top of their blue lotus moisturizer for additional SPF and glow. Now for the not-so-great: when I use it by itself it has me looking all kinds of ashy. Not in a dry skin sort of way, but with a slight white cast that just isn’t cute. So I’ve started using it in place of concealer, and layering my Fenty Foundation on top to balance out my deep skin tone. I love the way it looks! If you’re Black or a brown skin woman of color I’d definitely count on mixing it with foundation. pūrlisse - BB Tinted Moist Cream SPF30 pūrlisse - BLUE LOTUS Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 Sunscreen FENTY BEAUTY - Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation #cheriecreator

WFH Ready in 10 Min // Makeup for Zoom Calls
Most of us are working from home and schooling from home which means multiple zoom calls in a day. I have some quick and easy tips to look nice and polished for those calls! Most products can be applied with your fingers. 🤍 TINTED MOISTURIZER This will change your skin texture and give you slight coverage. This is also quick and easy. You can just use your fingers and bam! You already have even and less dull looking skin. I used Purlisse BB cream. This gives natural looking coverage and it gives a glowy finish pūrlisse - BB Tinted Moist Cream SPF30 🤍 LIGHT WEIGHT CONCEALER A quick concealer to cover those dark circles will make you look awake fast. I also used a caffeine solution to prep my skin. This is optional, but a really great addition to depuff the eyes. L.A girl is creamy and lightweight. I also love The Ordinary’s caffeine solution. Both are great quality for the price L.A. Girl - HD Pro Concealer The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG 🤍 BRONZER This will give your face a little dimension on camera. It’s best to stick with a cream product because this can be quickly blended with a sponge. I used Fenty’s Match Stix in Mocha FENTY BEAUTY - Match Stix Matte Skinstick 🤍 CREAM BLUSH Sticking with cream products is a faster way to do your makeup. Especially because it can be applied with your fingers. I used Glossier’s cloud paint in Dusk. This product is so easy to use and a quick way to give you a healthy glow Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color 🤍BROWS Brows make or break your face. Having a defined brows quickly make you look more immaculate. I used Glossier’s brow boy gel for a quick defined look Glossier. - Boy Brow 🤍 MASCARA You can skip eyeshadow and liner, but do not skip mascara. Mascara enlarges your eyes and this is the key making you look more awake. 🤍CREAM SHADOWS This is optional, but if you really want to give your eyes dimension and make them pop use a cream eyeshadow and apply all over the lid. I used Hourglass’ Scattered Light Eyeshadow in Blaze. This is a copper shade with glitter specs. Just apply this with your fingers and you have a Smokey eye! HOURGLASS - Scattered Light Glitter Eye Shadow 🤍 NICE BLOUSE Remember that you only have to dress the top part of your body 🤣 I like to wear a nice blouse to look presentable, but this depends where you work I guess. 🤍RING LIGHT This is optional, but I love using a small ring light on my zoom calls. This makes me look better on camera. I hope you find these tips helpful! I know we’re all going a little stir crazy being isolated, but hang in there! Let’s all wear masks and do our part. Another average cleanser
pūrlisse - Watermelon + Charcoal Purifying Cleanser This cleanser works, but for $18 I expected it to do more than cleanse. The texture is a jelly and when you put it on the face, it doesn’t really lather at all. It smells really great, like watermelon candy. If you’re sensitive to scent you may want to stay away from this one because it’s very strong. It washes off makeup but it usually takes at least two rounds of cleansing. I have drugstore cleaners that can do the same thing or better and don’t have fragrance. Save your money and try some drugstore alternatives. Some examples are the Neutrogena - Pink Grapefruit Activated Cream-to-Foam Facial Cleanser Neutrogena - Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Facial Cleanser OLAY - GENTLE FOAMING CLEANSER FRAGRANCE FREE #cheriepartner

Sensitive Acne Prone Routine
Hi there! I have superrrrr sensitive skin that breaks out to everything so I’m here to help out anyone else’s face that hates them too. I have three different night routines that I do in order to not pile on a bunch of products in one day. Am 🦐 splash face with water 🦐 CeraVe - Ultra-Light Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 For Normal To Oily Skin 🦐 Neutrogena - On-the-Spot Acne Treatment I don’t use a cleanser in the morning, with my sensitive skin, washing it twice makes it too overly irritated. Instead, I wash it with water and follow with a gentle skin moisturizer/SPF, and spot treatment as needed. Pm A - Acne-fighting 🦖 CeraVe - SA Smoothing Cleanser 🦖 The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% 🦖 DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel 🦖 CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin The SA cleanser is very gentle and effective for diminishing breakouts, and doesn’t strip the skin of its natural barrier. This is super important if you are using treatments, as too many can be damaging. I follow up with a water-based serum (niacinamide) that targets oil production, acne, hyperpigmentation, and dark spots. Then finish with an acne treatment and moisturizer. Pm B - Calm routine 🪐 BURT’S BEES - Face Cleanser for Sensitive Skin 🪐 The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% 🪐DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel 🪐 CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin I have a “calm” routine to take a break from other treatments I do during the week. My skin gets really irritated if it’s bombarded with a ton of products so I use this night as a breather for my skin. Typically that means the differin gel as well as niacinamide and moisturizer. Pm C - Brightening routine 🍌 pūrlisse - Watermelon + Charcoal Purifying Cleanser 🍌 The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution 🍌 LUÉ by Jean Seo - BALANCE 🍌DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel 🍌 CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin This one is my favorite! The watermelon cleanser is my favorite thing I’ve put on my face. It’s gentle, brightens, and doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight or dull. It makes my skin glowy and supple and I’m close to dying for it. Glycolic acid is a chemical exfoliant that brightens, smooths skin texture, and uneven tone, as well as working as an acne fighter!! It’s greta if your skin can tolerate it. If not, I’d go with The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA. Next, I like to put in a calming serum for hydration and letting my skin calm the f*** down from the exfoliant. Then typical moisturizer and differin gel. I hope this helped for those of you that are looking to treat your face without pissing it off! Good luck to all you SSPs!

Everyday make up look with a bit more glam
There are very few times throughout the year when I do a full face of makeup and style my hair— I am too impatient to spend more than an hour getting ready. However, when I do want to look a little more glam and spice up my usual make up routine, I opt for a more full coverage foundation and items like bronzer, highlighter, etc. Below are some products I use to create a more glowy, glam look: pūrlisse - Youth Glow Vitamin C CC Cream SPF 50 This product offers more full coverage than my usual tinted moisturizer. I love how the vitamin C makes my skin glow— it allows me to skip the vitamin C serum step in my AM routine. Best of all, it has an SPF of 50, so no need to worry about applying a sunscreen under it as well. The only downside to this is that it is more full coverage than I am used to, so I wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing it daily as it does feel a bit heavy on the skin. MAC - MAC Bronzing Powder I love that this bronzer blends well and stays on most of the day without any touch-up. I apply it a bit around my face, under my cheekbones, and on the sides of my nose to create a more sculpted face and mimic a contour without actually doing any of the hard work of contouring 😅 I also like that it’s not especially shimmery like other bronzers. MAC - MAC Lip Pencil My all time favorite color of this lip pencil is Soar. I love the color and consistency of this product. My only complaint is that it doesn’t last as long as other liners I have used. ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - ANASTASIA Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo My favorite eyebrow powder. If I am going for a more natural look (like I am here), I use more of the lighter shade in the duo. If I choose to do a more dramatic, smoky eye, than I can just use the same product but use the darker powder for a more defined brow. MAYBELLINE - Line Stiletto Ultimate Precision Liquid Eyeliner The best drugstore eyeliner there is. It stays on for about 6 hours, doesn’t smudge, and is a very dark shade of black. The only downside with this eyeliner is that it does not have a very fine tip— so you have to be a bit more careful when wanting to create a thinner line and a more natural look like I have on here. Hope that was a helpful review. Thank you for reading! 🥰

Minty eyes and dewy skin 🌿
It was cloudy day today and I wanted to experiment with greens, I wanted to do something bold and bright. I usually never reach for greens but I have a colorful eyeshadow palette and looking at the colors males me want to use them. I ended up with a dewy minty eye look. For primer (not pictured) I used touch in sol glassy balm primer. It hydrate my skin and makes it look dewy. touch in SOL - Pretty Filter Glassy Skin Balm For foundation I used the pūrlisse youth glow vitamin C CC cream spf 50 in Fair. I got this in my Ipsy bag a couple months ago and I’ve been loving it. pūrlisse - Youth Glow Vitamin C CC Cream SPF 50 Concealer I used a cult classic, NARS radiant creamy concealer in vanilla. This is one of my favorites. It gives me a natural look. NARS - Radiant Creamy Concealer For brows I used my absolute favorite brow pencil and it’s the elf instant brow pencil. I’ve been using this for years and it’s the one I always come back to. Super affordable too! e.l.f. - Instant Lift Brow Pencil BH cosmetics take me back to Brazil palette- I love this palette. So many different colors to choose from and really pigmented. bh - Take Me Back to Brazil 35 Color Pressed Pigment Palette I used my essence eyeliner pen in young and free (pastel yellow). It’s a super cute color. I decided to add some dots to the outer edge of my green eyeshadow. essence - essence Eyeliner Pen I used milk makeup kush mascara and it’s really nice. It separates my lashes and makes them look longer too. Milk MAKEUP - KUSH High Volume Mascara I used Sephora collection gel lip liner in creme de la creme to line my lips a little bit. SEPHORA COLLECTION - Rouge Gel Lip Liner For my lips I used glossier’s vinylic lip in the shade disco. It’s like a terra cotta/orangey tint to it. It’s my first time using it and I’m already in love. It also has some shine to it so my lips won’t be dehydrated. Glossier. - Vinylic Lip High Shine Lacquer For blush I used glossier’s cloud paint in dawn, it’s a orangey sunny coral color. I used a little bit of this and it’s super pretty. I love it. Glossier. - Cloud Paint Seamless Cheek Color

Yensa and Purlisse Asian Beauty Brands
My go to favorite Asian beauty brands are purlisse and sister brand, Yensa. Both founded by Jennifer Yen! YENSA is a global Superfood Cosmetic beauty brand that creates high performance cosmetics fused with Superfoods to embrace the diversity in beauty today. High tech formulas, 8 powerful Superfoods and Asian rituals with a strong focus on complexion perfection is what makes YENSA unique. purlisse is a culmination of Asian wisdom and modern philosophy. We partner with the best chemists and research labs in Korea, France, America and beyond to deliver a results-driven skincare collection. Both brands focus on makeup and skincare that promotes having a beauty complexion without harsh chemicals and additives. They focus on leaving your skin healthy with a gorgeous glow. pūrlisse - MATCHA GREEN TEA Antioxidant Priming Moisturizer This moisturizer is great for all skin types, especially oily and acne prone. It’s an extremely lightweight water based moisturizer and blends into the skin beautifully. pūrlisse - Radiant Glow Illuminating BB Cream SPF 30 This is one of their newest products that compliment their popular BB cream. Its a good balance of water/oil consistency that didn’t feel heavy on the skin. It’s comparable to the IT Cosmetics illuminating cc cream. The coverage is minimal though, so don’t expect much. Other than that, you are left with a nice lovely glow. 😍 YENSA - PUMPKIN TURMERIC 2-in-1 Radiance Polishing Mask This oil/sugar based exfoliating mask leaves your skin baby soft and brighter thanks to all the great ingredients. It was gentle on my skin, but I still don’t recommend daily use. YENSA - CBD Superfood Face Oil this stuff is pricey but the BOMB! It’s a little on the thicker side for an oil, so it’s perfect for dry skin or to use at night. Cbd has many great benefits like calming the skin and controlling oil production. I use this at night myself and wake up with such soft skin and NO breakouts! 👏🏻🥰 I think since these brands really focus on Asian skincare rituals, you don’t get that “heavy” makeup feel like you do with many American Brands. Their focus is on protecting your skin the safest and cleanest way possible where it seems like American brands are more flashy. #cheriepartner #yensa #purlisse

My secret to looking good in photos
I’ve discovered pūrlisse - Radiant Glow Illuminating BB Cream SPF 30 This looks hella good on camera, it’s super moisturizing, and contains SpF 30. Not necessarily my go-to for every day, bc I’m naturally combo skinned and this gives a “dewey” finish that I can’t abide without ample powder on the Tzone (and I don’t really like to use powder). But OMG I look like I have •perfect• skin in pics. So if you’re going outside, need a little SPF and plan on being in front of a camera, I highly recommend this product. Tell me, what’s your secret to looking good in photos?????

Maskne friendly skincare hack: double masking!
Maskne got you down? “Maskne” is when sweat, oils, and bacteria get trapped on the skin while wearing your mask - causing a breakout or eventually hyperpigmentation. My remedy for preventing or soothing a mask related breakout is to do a double mask! Not only is it super indulgent and relaxing, but it helps purify the skin and bring back hydration. Step 1: I like to apply a clay mask with a foundation brush for even coverage and give a little extra love to problem areas. Clay masks declog pores, absorb oil from your skin and prevent mild forms of acne, such as pimples, blackheads , and whiteheads. pūrlisse - Blue Lotus Seed Mud Mask + Exfoliant e.l.f. - Selfie Foundation Blurring Brush Step 2: Apply a sheet mask to give some much needed soothing and TLC! Sheet masks contain higher concentrations of key ingredients. I love the blue lotus one by Purlisse because Blue Lotus is known for its anti-inflammatory benefits to help soothe redness and irritated skin. pūrlisse - Blue Lotus + Seaweed Treatment Sheet Mask Omorovicza - Rose Quartz Face Roller

✨ Some of my favs ✨
These are some of my favorite brands that I 💙!! Purlisse and Yensa and both owned by the same company and make awesome skincare and beauty products. Skin Script is what I use in the treatment room and both my clients and I are obsessed with everything they create. A newer brand I recently discovered is InstaNatural! Hale and Hush is a very good professional brand if you have sensitive skin. Josie Maran can be found at Sephora, but their facial oils are awesome. Yeouth retinol is very gentle on the skin. Most, if not all, these brands are cruelty free, vegan friendly and free from sulfates, parabens and much more! pūrlisse - Blue Lotus Seed Mud Mask + Exfoliant YENSA - PUMPKIN TURMERIC 2-in-1 Radiance Polishing Mask JOSIE MARAN - Skin Dope Argan Oil + 100 mg CBD insta natural - Glycolic Acid Serum #skincare #shelfie YEOUTH - Retinol Serum with Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin E and Aloe Vera

Sheet Mask Obsessed?
Hey Babes 👋🏼 Raise your hand 🙋🏻‍♀️ if you’re obsessed with sheet masks like me 😍😍 Purlisse has a variety to sheet masks to choose from, all are great. My favorite that I most commonly use is their 🍉 pūrlisse - WATERMELON Energizing Sheet Mask ! They are priced very well! You can get one for $5 or a 6 pack for $18!! These masks smell and feel great on your skin! Ingredients like watermelon, cucumber and aloe vera are a power combo of soothing and rejuvenating ingredients. 🌟 This also has some green tea and niacinamide. 😉 I like to put my sheet masks in the fridge for an icy cool 🧊 feeling! I leave mine on for about 45 minutes so my skin can really soak in the essence. Immediately after removal, my skin once again feels hydrated and baby soft. ✨ The results continue for the next 2-3 days which is the best part. You can purchase their sheet masks on their website or now amazon! Xoxo, Blyssey

✨That Black Girl Glow - My Steps
Getting clear healthy skin has been a work in progress. I’m 31 and I got serious about skincare once I turned 30! My routine is 👉🏾AM: Cleanser - Moisturizer - SPF 👉🏾PM: Cleanser - Toner - Serum - Eye cream (sometimes) - Moisturizer - Face Oil 👉🏾Weekly: sheet or mud mask or both! DRUNK ELEPHANT - Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser Deluxe Sample I strongly prefer clean beauty when it comes to my cleanser. I have sensitive skin dry/combo skin and this one really does the trick. It can be slightly drying depending on the weather or my water intake, but that’s what moisturizer and oils are for! pūrlisse - BB Tinted Moist Cream SPF30 I use a light layer of this as SPF on days where I wear makeup. It’s alllmost perfect, except it leaves a slight ashy white cast. Not sure if it’s the SPF or the formula. I follow up w/ Fenty foundation and it’s all good! pūrlisse - Blue Lotus Balancing Moisturizer Great moisturizer, not greasy and doesn’t cause breakouts. I always have to add oil for my desired hydration though. Promo code: OGOW10 for 30% off Be Transcendent - Balance Toner Black Owned Brand 🖤 Great toner that gets the job done and the residue from the day off 👏🏾 évolué - evolue Hydrating Serum I had mixed feelings about this product. Hated it at first but after a few nights I found it did help the product absorb FARMACY - Honey Grail Ultra-Hydrating Face Oil Obsessed! Smooth, absorbing, thick af and smells like honey 🥰 This will give you guaranteed GLOW ✨

Hello hydration! A review of my moisturizers.
My skin type is dry, and I live in Southern California, where the air is often really dry. But, I think hydration is important, regardless of skin type. I try to emphasize hydration every day, and have used a few products that I thought I'd review. Let me know your thoughts! Day Time 111SKIN - Y Theorem Day Cream Light Nac Y2 My newest addition. Nice, medium-weight texture. Neutral smelll, feels hydrating. pūrlisse - Watermelon Aqua Balm Loved at first, before I had tried many other products. Has a nice watermelon smell. But the texture is definitely a little "balmy", and doesn't sink into your skin very quickly. it Cosmetics - Confidence in A Gel Lotion Weightless Moisturizer "Weightless" is definitely correct - The texture is super light and slight. Good for when you don't need anything too heavy, or if you don't have very dry skin. Day or Night AVEDA - Botanical kinetics hydrating lotion I've had a giant bottle of this for a while now. Great medium-weight, trusty moisturizer that I use when I run out of others or just want something that I know will work. Good for all skin types. Night Time LANEIGE - Water Bank Moisture Cream Heavier cream, almost lotion-like texture. Great for drier nights. dr botanicals - Pomegranate Superfood Regenerating Sleeping Mask Almost a lotion texture, but whipped up and aerated slightly. Nice smell and feeling. Label says to keep refrigerated for best results, use within 3 months, and use every few days. SUNDAY RILEY - Ice Ceramide Moisturizing Cream Not sure how I feel about this one. It looks like custard and smells like play-dough, but I've noticed that Sunday Riley products often have a bit of a smell, due to the ingredients and that SR doesn't use fragrance to cover it up (which is good!). I'm hesitant to use this cream all over my face, as its a bit thick and heavy. Instead, I use it more as an anti-wrinkle cream on my forehead. PureHeals - Ginseng Berry 80 Overnight Mask One of the only products I've repurchased. Great texture - almost gel-like, goes on easy but is still substantial and feels very hydrating. Smell is also great.

Delicious/Yummy Smelling Moisturizer 😍🍉💲✔️
Hey Babes! 👋🏼 I have been using the 🍉 pūrlisse - Watermelon Aqua Balm for the last year or so and I’m not only in love with this product, but the brand as a whole! Purlisse is an Asian based skin care brand by Jennifer Yen. They have a wide variety of skin care and body products that are great. You can find them in popular subscription boxes like Ipsy, BoxyCharm and they are also now on Amazon. 😍😍 Why I like this product: Simply, it works for my oily skin! It’s hydrating enough without irritating my skin or producing more oil. Since there are no acids in this product, it’s also safe to use everyday. This moisturizer is water based and oil free. The gel like consistency is very lightweight and spread easily across the skin. Cruelty-Free: Purlisse is a proud cruelty-free brand and never uses and sulfates, parabens, mineral oil, GMOs and much more! Ingredients: When you first open the moisturizer, you can’t help but take a whiff of the bursting smell of watermelon. It’s like those watermelon candies, minus all the bad stuff. 🍉 Watermelon is a great ingredient to moisturize the skin. It also has 🥒 Cucumber to soothe, 🍃 Aloe Vera to reduce any inflammation and 🍵 White Tea for anti-aging. Price: It’s only $24 for 1.7 fluid ounces OR you can purchase their travel size that’s $15 for 0.34 fluid ounces. (Get the full size one for a better value!) Final Thoughts: I do recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a great moisturizer and does not want to spend high prices. It works for all skin types! If you have tried this before, let me know what you think of it in the comments below. Xoxo, Blyssey #purlisse #cheriecreator #skincareproduct #facecream #moisturizer #watermelonmoisturizer

Free Samples in 2020 – Which Ones I’ll Be Purchasing!
Being a beauty-obsessed shopper in 2020 is hard. But free samples make it easier! With brands adding in more samples of their products than ever, shoppers can try snippets before purchasing the entire product. This psychologically-brilliant tactic is working for beauty brands, landing them more sales than ever. I think the reason free samples work so well is because: · Try before you buy, (the obvious) · Shoppers can purchase the full-size with confidence, resulting in fewer returns for the company · The risk-averse shoppers feel taken care of · Something about a gift triggers the human response of reciprocity (wanting to do something for them, like purchase more, once they have given you a gift) It’s truly a win-win. For context - My skin is oily, acne-prone, and also fighting anti-aging. A glorious trio. Here are some of my recent freebies from 2020 so far (going from left to right): ·The Curology Cleanser -        o Very gentle o  Lightweight o Made for all skin-types o Produced by leading dermatologists o You can purchase with a $40 bottle of customized formula for your skin-concerns, $40 covering a 2-month supply. The cleanser and moisturizer are the same for everyone, very gentle and neutral. Curology - The Cleanser   · The Purlisse Matcha Green Tea Lemon Detoxifying Charcoal Mask – o This mask is magical o Your face feels so clean after o Smells delicious o I use 2-3 times per week for a nice, gentle exfoliation o The charcoal cleanses and visibly tightens pores o The tea calms your skin o The lemon brightens with vitamin C o The full-sized product is $35.00 with a 5-star rating presently pūrlisse - Matcha Green Tea + Lemon Detoxifying Charcoal Mask  · 24K Gold Mineral Mud Mask from Ahava/Ulta – o Dead sea mud mask o LITERALLY GOLD (see picture for sample on my hand, didn’t want to waste much!) o It is very soft, and my face feels smoother after use o Some report breakouts afterward and there are mixed reviews o It leaves a glitter residue behind, unsure if some mistake that for the glow but I have experienced no breakouts o Full-sized product is $68.00 with a 3.2-star rating on Ulta AHAVA - 24K Gold Mineral Mud Mask   · Herbivore Botanical’s Phoenix Oil – o I use this in the mornings, 2-3 drops o It is for dry skin but I have oily skin, feels great and very moisturizing o Works for sensitive skin, anti-aging, dryness o Very lightweight o Made using rosehip, omega oils, vitamin A, and sea buckthorn o Herbivore is probably my favorite skincare line (vegan, product is concentrated and goes a long way, lasts for 6 months+ if used slowly, their products WORK!) o Uses Alpha Lipoic Acid to add a natural glow to skin o Large bottle is $88.00, again, will last you 6-months to a year if you take your time o You could use one drop a day if you wanted o Color will vary (I have noticed with their Lapis Blue Tansy oil that it got greener over time. You can see from my Phoenix sample in the picture that it is more yellow, whereas on the website it is more orange. This is likely due to oxidation and the potency of the product may be decreasing slightly as it is exposed to air).HERBIVORE - Phoenix Rosehip Anti-Aging Face Oil for Dry Skin   · Sunday Riley’s UFO Acne Treatment Oil – o 1.5% salicylic acid, to fight acne and breakouts o Clears pore congestion o Quite lightweight for an oil o Tea tree oil works great on my skin, with anti-fungal properties to fight bad bacteria o Vegan/fragrance/paraben-free o Emerald green in color o Full-sized product is $40.00 with 4.5-star ratings out of 34-reviews presently SUNDAY RILEY - U.F.O. Ultra-Clarifying Face Oil   ·  Eight Saint’s Bright Side – o A cleanser that utilizes antioxidants o Crème-based but not too heavy o Made using fruit and seed oils o The smell is citrusy and fruity o Intended for dry skin but I’ve experienced no issues with it (even though I have oily and acne-prone skin) o Full-sized product is $46.00 with 5-star ratings out of 17-reviews presently So!EIGHT SAINTS - Bright Side Out of these six, the four I would purchase the full-sized product of and recommend include: · The Purlisse Matcha Green Tea Lemon Detoxifying Charcoal Mask · 24K Gold Mineral Mud Mask from Ahava/Ulta · Herbivore Botanical’s Phoenix Oil · Sunday Riley’s UFO Acne Treatment Oil My all-time favorite out of that would have to be the phoenix oil by Herbivore. My second favorite is the matcha green tea. And honestly, I could live without the other four. That’s my hot take! I hope it helps you, beautiful queens!

I didn’t like this product at first because I prefer a cleanser that lathers. I thought this wasn’t getting my skin “clean enough.” I’m glad I didn’t give up on it though! After a few days I noticed my skin was softer, smoother and my acne has cleared up. I leave it on for a few seconds then massage into my face for 60 seconds before rinsing. I use a toner at night to remove excess dirt and oil. I would double cleanse if I wore foundation or makeup that day. If you want to try it out here’s a 30% off code: OGOW10 pūrlisse - Watermelon + Charcoal Purifying Cleanser 4.5 stars!

This moisturizer was sent to me in my Ipsy bag. This moisturizer smells AMAZING- just like a watermelon Jolly Rancher🍉😁!! It has a gel cream texture and immediately melts into skin. It gives you a dewy glow and leaves skin super hydrated. I love this moisturizer!!

Two Products I Love!!
ACURE - Brightening Facial Scrub I’ve read a lot of reviews from people who didn’t like this product because of how big the exfoliating pieces are, but I love it. I wouldn’t recommend it for those with sensitive skin because it can be slightly harsh depending on the pressure you use and how often you use it, however because my hyperpigmentation is so deep, I appreciate how much it scrubs away. My skin is always so soft and polished right after using. I’m not sure about the brightening affect, but I’ve only been using it for a few weeks so I feel like it’s too soon to tell. I’d say if you don’t have sensitive skin and benefit from a strong exfoliate then this is the product for you! It also only cost around $9 at Target. 💪🏾 My second fav is this clay mask I got from my IPSY May bag! The Pūrlisse Match Green Tea + Lemon Detoxifying Charcoal Mask. Every clay mask I’ve ever used leaves my skin red, itchy, and dry; this one goes on thin, smells great and never fails to leave my skin feeling super soft and refreshed. It’s great for AM or PM use and gentle enough to be used 2 or 3 times a week if needed. I’m not sure how deep it goes, or how well it clears my pores, but it does make my skin feel good, and like I said smells great. A full sized bottle cost $35 so I’m not sure I’d buy it on my own, but I will miss it when this one runs out so who knows! To me, this mask is a great self-care item to add to your list for when you need a pamper night to revive and rejuvenate your skin.☀️
