I know I’m late on this, but I’m doing one anyways🥰 1️⃣- PRODUCTS I tried a whole lot of new products last year. There’s definitely a few that really stood out to me that I had to repurchase! There’s only one on this list that I haven’t yet repurchased, simply cuz I haven’t run out! (Nars mask) 🐝Beauty of Joseon - Glow Serum : Propolis+Niacinamide & the 🐌Beauty of Joseon - Repair Serum : Ginseng+Snail Mucin These are $17 each, I can’t recommend them enough! They have done wonders for my skin, keeping it hydrated & clear, as well as fading dark spots. The formulas are really clean, concentrated, & free of fragrance & alcohol. 🇰🇷Sulwhasoo - First Care Activating Serum it’s expensive, but I fell in love. It’s really boosted the radiance in my skin & out of nowhere, this pre-serums prep serum somehow became a necessity in my routine & I freaked when I ran out & was awaiting my shipment. 👄ALGENIST - Genius Liquid Collagen Lip Did not make my lips fuller, but quickly became my favorite lip treatment. It’s basically an oil serum for the lips with algae extracts! It lasts a really long time even with multiple uses daily. 💕unpa.Cosmetics - Bubi Bubi Lip Ampoule new holy grail lip balm for me & it’s only $9, not a bad price at all because the tube contains over twice the amount of your average chapstick. Everyone has already heard me talk about this lip balm lol, but it’s so good! 🌊NARS - Aqua Gel Luminous Mask This one surprised me. Bought it on a whim from Nordstrom or something... It’s full of marine & botanical extracts, feels so refreshing & soothing, a little goes a long way & you get a generous amount for the price. A little gem for dry or irritated skin. 🍭TRULY - Unicorn CBD Whipped Body Butter This is the shit you need if you have really dry skin & want to smell like a “mature” cupcake!🧁 🌴SOL de Janeiro - Brazilian Touch Hand Sanitizer Spray My favorite hand sanitizer of 2020. Smells like the signature bum bum scent for a moment when you spray your hands before basically smelling like alcohol-but it’s hand sanitizer 2️⃣- TREND Definitely the no makeup, chillin at home look, but only because I participated in that quite heavily & it really helped my skin.🥰 3️⃣- MY BEST LOOK? Ha. Please see number 2... I could have probably found one if I didn’t lose all my photos, but pretty much if I brushed my hair it was a good day in 2020.😷 4️⃣- CREATORS I know I’m gonna leave someone out so please forgive me I’ll just name 5, but I love so many!!! Give these babes a follow: @bealizbeauty@VyshnaviKarra@halfkimchi@D.Bennett& @RedheadSkincare🌹 5️⃣- SOMETHING I LEARNED Skincare really is a never ending journey. I’ve learned to love my bare skin a lot more this last year!💀 Happy to be back from my unexpected & unwanted hiatus. #CherieCreator🍒
Some products you just look at and admire😅 Ginseng is very popular in Korean/Asian Skincare. It helps with hyperpigmentation, balances oil production and is also known to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Sulwhasoo - Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Cream Light This cream has a little weird smell but not very overpowering. It looks thick but has a very light texture that blends into smoothly. It’s a type of cream that I want to keep using but am scared of running out considering it’s price😂 Sulwhasoo - First Care Activating Serum I had this serum in a sample size before and loved how instantly it absorbed into the skin. I This is a very interesting serum as it is a cocktail of five Korean herbs Lotus, Rehmannia, Peony, Solomon’s seal & White Lily and contains Ginseng. It is hydrating, nourishing and with regular use works great for hyperpigmentation. The earlier you start using products that slow down the skin-aging process; the better!

Is this worth Splurging ‼️
Sulwhasoo - Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Cream Light Let’s start with the packaging! OMFG the jar is so luxurious and fancy. When I held the jar in my hand it is heavy! I felt so boogie holding it! Diving into how it performs on the skin: Honestly the moisturizer is rich and creamy! I love how it glides onto my skin so beautiful. After I massage the product into my face for about a min I notice the instant glow. I love how my skin look so luminous and plump. I’ve used it a couple of times and it honestly improve my overall complexion! The reason why I have this a 4 star because of the scent. It is a gingseng scent and at first I was not used to it, after a couple of times applying it I was used to it. Since I bought this moisturizer along with the activated serum I apply both at the same time when I feel like my skin is suffering. Overall it’s a good moisturizer to use, would I buy it again, probably not. Try it out and let me know if you like :)

here are some of my everyday makeup that help me to get a natural makeup, if i could live with just one product in this bag it would be the kaja puff radiant mousse primer because the glow it gives me is amazing 💕
Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum - Formulated with JAUM Balancing Complex - a blend of Rehmannia, Lotus, Peony, White Lily and Solomon's Seal that provides a balanced and well-hydrated skin. I've tried a sample of this before along with the cream and I really loved it! 🌸 Bloomstay Vitalizing Water - Hydrating and absorbs quite fast ~ It makes my skin plump and locks in moisture thanks to Green Plum Blossom and Korean Yuju Extracts. My skin feels supple after and it smells really nice!! With that, use with caution because it has fragrances and alcohol. However there weren't any bad reaction on my end. 🔆 Perfecting Cushion Brightening NO. 17 - My deal with most cushions would be the wrong tone up they give me. Good thing their light beige is just right! It blends really nicely and it looks natural. I am not a huge fan of heavy coverage so this is just perfect! It's weightless and it brightens my overall complexion.

Luxurious Foaming Face Cleanser 💫
I love cleansers - there is something satisfying about washing the day away, so I was excited when Sulwhasoo gifted me their Gentle Cleansing Foam. Foam cleansers are one of my favorite forms of cleansers because of how luxurious it feels on the skin & the calming sensation it can give - it’s a real treat for the skin! 💫 This gel cleanser transforms into a lathering foam that is infused with botanical extracts for nourishment & cleansed the skin without stripping your skin - leaving your skin soft, hydrated & balanced. This formula contains citrus peel to help brighten the skin, as well as chestnut shell extract. It effortlessly removes makeup, dirt, & debris from your pores. It is best suitable for those with normal, combination or oily skin types. You get a whopping 6.76 fl oz, retailing for just $38 which makes it a fair price point for this luxurious cleanser; and can be purchased directly on Sulwhasoo’s website or Sephora. 💫 Sulwhasoo - Gentle Cleansing Foam Hydrating Makeup Remover
K-beauty 🧡 Gentle cleansing Oil Makeup Remover is an oil-based cleanser that infused with apricot kernel oil and tangerine peel extract hat helps to remove waterproof makeup and impurities. I am using this as my first step in my double-cleansing routine. After that, I am using the First Care Activating Serum which is designed to use as the first step after cleansing. This lightweight serum helps to boost the absorption of other skincare products you used. It contains JAUM Balancing Complex™, a potent cocktail of five Korean herbs that hydrates, nourishes your skin, and improve your skin texture. ⠀⠀ I am always impressed with Korean beauty products which I think are very effective. This lightweight serum is suitable for all kind of skins and is free of sulfates SLS and SLES, parabens, and phthalates. I have introduced this serum to my skin routine for a week, so far I am liking it. I love the silky smooth texture which is not greasy and absorbs quickly. ⠀⠀

All serums I have emptied and tried in 2020
Many of them I have only had a very short encounter but want to name a few: SHISEIDO - Ultimune Power Infusing Serum Concentrate I use this before all other serums. I enjoy the light weight texture and skin barrier strengthening feature. TATCHA - Violet-C Brightening Serum 20% Vitamin C + 10% AHA this is a clear serum and absorb right away. Very gentle but potent. Sulwhasoo - Bloomstay Vitalizing Serum beautify package and scent. A bit on the sticky side but not much once on the skin. ESTĒE LAUDER - Free Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex Ii Sample With Product Purchase odie but goodie. Can’t imagine one day I will not have it in my routine. I really hope to try the new version of this.
Serum with a Honey like texture
#Sulwhasoogiftedme Another great product from @sulwhasoo.us ’s Bloomstay line. What I love the most about this serum, and what I never felt with any other, is the texture of it. It feels just like honey! It spreads and glides over the skin with easy and sinks in relatively quick, leaving the skin feeling nourished. The serum is more on the richer, thicker side, but it’s not heavy at all. I’ve been using it on and off for weeks and I’m quite pleased with it. I enjoy the hydrating and nourishing benefits this serum provides, especially on the days when my skin feels like it needs extra TLC. It doesn’t provide the benefits that a lot of people usually look for in their serums (such as help with texture, dark spots, ace, etc.). The things that it does promise are help with loss of firmness and elasticity. I don’t have much problem in that department, but my skin does feel bouncier whenever I use this. If you’re looking for a serum that will feel lovely on the skin and is also luxurious, definitely give this one a look! . . . . gifted #cheriecreator Sulwhasoo - Bloomstay Vitalizing Serum
Do You REALLY Need and Eye Cream Pt. 2
So two weeks ago I made a post about eye creams, and whether or not they are a necessity! We went over four major factors that can effect the over look of your eye area. This is post is to cover what we missed and answer some follow up questions. The most honest answer to the question of whether you need an eye cream is, “It depends.” If you have deep set wrinkles, visible fine lines, or incredibly dark circles than an eye cream/serum should be a staple in your routine. For everyone else, taking preventative measures (like with sunscreen and proper hydration) are likely the only treatments you need. If you do need a product specifically for your eyes look for ingredients like ginseng, caffeine, hylaronic acid, ceramides, vitamin c, and retinoids. Consistent sleep, water intake, and nutrition are also factors, as we covered in the first post! Lastly here are some eye products, with varied price points, whose ingredient lists impressed me! 1. THE inkey LIST - Caffeine Eye Cream 2. The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG 3..PROVENCE BEAUTY - Eye Serum Retinol + Niacinamide 4. Sulwhasoo - Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Eye Cream 5. PAULA'S CHOICE - Clinical Ceramide-Enriched Firming Eye Cream 6. DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream
I've been using this past month to try some new products and I've got to say, thank you@skintellectfor recommending The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%! It's been such a game changer. Current AM routine: 1. Sulwhasoo - Gentle Cleansing Foam Hydrating Makeup Remover 2. Sulwhasoo - First Care Activating Serum 3. Sulwhasoo - Essential Balancing Water 4. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% 5. Sulwhasoo - Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Eye Cream 6. Sulwhasoo - Essential Firming Cream+ sunscreen Current PM routine: 1. Sulwhasoo - Gentle Cleansing Foam Hydrating Makeup Remover 2. pixi - Glow Tonic 3. I DEW CARE - Bright Side Up Brightening Vitamin C Serum 4. Sulwhasoo - Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Eye Cream 5. Sulwhasoo - Essential Firming Cream I've also switched to using the AZTEC SECRET - Indian Healing Clayfollowed by a sheet mask once to twice per week (instead of once per week) and The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solutiononce every 1-2 weeks (instead of every week). The clay mask has been a godsend lately! I've been breaking out so badly from wearing a mask everyday at work. Definitely also loving MARIO BADESCU - Mario Badescu Drying Lotionright now for spot treating. How is everyone else dealing with mask-related breakouts right now?
Melts Away The Makeup For My Sensitive Skin
Sulwhasoo - Gentle Cleansing Oil Makeup Remover I saw this on Sulwhasoo Instagram page, particularly in that promo video they did with Joan Kim. Her face is just poreless! It’s a typical Korean skin that’s porcelain-like, glowing, with an even texture. So it sounds about right that I’ll try whatever it is that she puts on her face. I don’t know if it’s the quarantine but these days, I’ve been shopping a lot online, especially for beauty products. I’m so eager to try new products to see what suits my skin. I threw this luxe cleansing oil in my cart alongside 4 other Sulwhasoo products. Its consistency is like 1 part oil, 1 part water. It smells like a hotel bathroom - you know, the fresh soap scent that smells super clean. That’s how it smells like. I applied one 1 full pump on my dry face and it did melt my makeup. I continued massaging the product on my face for about a minute cause it just felt so luxurious. It felt so soft and smooth. Then, as Joan Kim suggested, I wet my hands and continued to massage my face. It became a bit foamy. So yes, it did its job of cleaning my face. I think it’s a great product to have as a first cleanse. I recommend this to you if you have dry combination skin like mine cause it doesn’t strip my face with its natural oils, perfect for individuals who have thirsty skin.
Perfect Oil Cleanser to Cleanse the Skin
#Sulwhasoogiftedme Gentle Cleansing Foam @sulwhasoo.us describes this cleanser as “a gel cleanser that gently pulls dirt, makeup, and buildup from pores while softening the look of skin with a blend of botanical ingredients.” and that’s exactly what it is (and much more!) I’ve been using this cleanser non stop for a couple weeks now (sorry all the other cleansers I’ve been neglecting) and I’m so impressed! Although it foams up, it doesn’t dry out or irritate the skin at all. The gel has a honey texture, and the foam feels very nourishing and gentle on the skin. It works great both as a standalone cleanser and/or as a second cleanse after removing makeup with a balm or an oil. It leaves the skin feeling very refreshed and clean without being tight or dry. Another winner from Sulwhasoo! . . . . gifted #cheriecreatorSulwhasoo - Gentle Cleansing Oil Makeup Remover

. Details: 🍂 • Traditional Korean herbal cream. Formulated with ginseng concentrates to restructure skin from deep inside with ginseng essence. Eliminate the signs of aging. • Benefit: Anti-aging • Form: Cream • Skin Type: For All Skin Types . . 💭 What a cream. First, it smells just like Ginseng. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it but after a while, it wasn't too noticeable. I use this cream at night. I started with a small portion and worked my way up the next few days. I wasn't sure how my skin would react to the new ingredient so I started slow. It's very hydrating and absorbs nicely into your skin. My skin feels soft, smooth and renewed when I wake up. Anything to help with anti-aging is my friend. The downfall, is the price. It's definitely expensive so be mindful

Healed in under 1 week! How I prevented scarring
🐺So I have a 9 month old Siberian Husky, he’s got way too much energy for me sometimes. He totally booped me in the eye with his teeth & basically bit my eyelid. I was honestly so f***ing worried, eye skin is so sensitive & my skin scar easily, even from bruising. So how did I get this back to normal in 6 days? First things first... Regularly applying (yup, multiple times a day) SUNSCREEN will help prevent hyperpigmentation. ☀️When you get a cut or bruise, even a baby one, your skin barrier has been compromised. Even the healthiest skin barrier will not protect you from UV rays whatsoever & any new skin growing after an abrasion is extremely susceptible to UV damage, regardless of your skin tone! I’m super pale, but even with skin that doesn’t burn easily, newly generated skin tissue will become darker if you don’t use an SPF to protect it. I included a pic of a scratch I got from my dog several months ago, where I totally didn’t protect it from the sun. I can be lazy about body sunscreen & this proved to me that almost any broken skin will scar if it gets sun. I used: KINSHIP - Self Reflect Probiotic Moisturzing Sunscreen Zinc Oxide SPF 32 But honestly any sunscreen you like with a decent SPF is key for scar prevention. Reapply & reapply! I love this formula because it’s so moisturizing! Full review in a previous post. Keeping your skin hydrated & moisturized is super important too, you want to give your skin nourishment while it heals. Which brings me to the second most important thing. 🐌A repair serum: Beauty of Joseon - Repair Serum : Ginseng+Snail Mucin I have fully fallen in love with Snail Mucin after this serum! Because Snail Mucin is a stress-induced excretion, it's comprised of ingredients meant to repair or protect from injury. These include growth factors, which work by triggering the growth of new skin cells & new collagen. This particular serum is really affordable-$17. It contains over 3% Snail Mucin & it’s over 63% Ginseng extract, also amazing for skin repair & evening tone. Allantoin is another component in the secretion; healing properties, calms irritation & stimulates cell regeneration Also fragrance/alcohol free! Sulwhasoo - First Care Activating Serum Limited Edition This is also packed with Ginseng & other reparative botanical extracts. This really helps me retain moisture in my skin, I use it 2x a day & have noticed generally brighter & clearer skin in the last few months. You use this after cleansing or toning, before other serums. TATCHA - The Silk Peony Melting Eye Cream After a couple days I added this. ETUDE - SoonJung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream Great for sensitive skin & has vitamin E. I alternated between this &: TATCHA - The Dewy Skin Cream Also used this: Beauty of Joseon - Glow Serum : Propolis+Niacinamide Almost 60% Propolis + 2% Niacinamide
🌙💤Current Nighttime routine
🌚This is my basic night routine at the moment, even though I’m still considering some new products to possibly add or swap out... Feel free to ask me any questions in the comments💕 I use the products in the following order: YVES SAINT LAURENT - Top Secrets Universal Makeup Remover Balm in Oil First part of my double-cleanse. I haven’t worn makeup since the beginning of quarantine, but it’s still really necessary to break down all the sunscreen I wear. This is a nice cleansing balm, it’s very silky & light compared to others, & has a lovely scent. I haven’t tested it yet for removing makeup though. fresh - Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash A favorite of mine, I did a full review of this product in a previous post🍓I love this gentle exfoliating cleanser! DIOR - Hydra Life Balancing Hydration 2 in 1 Sorbet Water Check out my review of this hydrating, prebiotic toner in a previous post. MAY COOP - Raw Sauce 🍁My holy grail essence, it’s 93% maple extract. Check out my recent post for my full review & ingredient breakdown. Sulwhasoo - First Care Activating Serum Limited Edition Such an amazing serum! I need to do a more detailed review soon. ESTĒE LAUDER - Perfectionist CP+R Wrinkle Lifting/Firming Serum I don’t use this every night... it’s actually a great daytime product because it’s matte, smoothing & pore perfecting. Honestly it makes a great (but expensive) makeup primer! fresh - Lotus Anti-Aging Night Moisturizer Just did a review on this night cream, feel free to check it out. I just emptied it, so instead I used: NARS - Aqua Gel Luminous Mask This is really great product to relieve irritated skin. It has a lot of marine extracts. I did a full review of this in a previous post💙🦪This product really impressed me! Finally I’ll finish my routine with a decadent lip balm LANEIGE - LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask Also previously did a full review of this new Gummy Bear scented lip sleeping mask & the corresponding lip glowy balm🧸💜so moisturizing!!! ☁️goodnight beauties☁️

Sulwhasoo Perfecting Cushion Intense and it took me a few applications to actually figure out using a cushion foundation. This is my first time ever trying anything like this. The applicator picks decent amount of product and the pressing and stamping (I believe that is what it is called) spreads it easily. The product does not feel heavy on the skin. Layers well with other products too. Coverage is really good. It is neither too matte nor too greasy. It leaves an even, silky smooth layer (almost too smooth to be true). Longevity is pretty good. Stayed without breaking on my dry but well prepped skin for 6 plus hours. The color I chose is no.25 and it is supposed to have yellow undertones. The color is too light for my extra tan skin but i think it will work better once I lose that tan. . . The compact is lovely, chic, snaps shut and has a mirror making it very easy to travel with. Cushion Foundations are convenient but I am more of a traditional foundation person. I miss the brush n sponge blending. Also I think traditional liquid or powder foundations can be adjusted a shade up or down but with cushion foundations an exact match is needed for flawless looking skin. . . This is my first experience with cushion foundations and honestly I am not so sure if I like it or not. Maybe as I try and use a few more brands, I will get better in using it to its full potential and probably have something similar to compare. For now, I will stick to what I know the best. .
This beautiful compact is the Sulwhasoo Perfecting Cushion Intense foundation. The color I chose is no.25 and it is supposed to have yellow undertones. Please swipe next to see the color on my arm. It is pretty close to what it looks in real life. Unedited picture. .

The Ordinary-AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution
Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum - Capturing Moment. This serum is a first step booster serum that you use right after cleansing. The purpose of using it after cleanser because it helps the other products to absorb better, which then will yield better results. Sounds good right ? We want our products to have the fullest efficacy. This has an herbally Korean appricot and raspberry scent to it.I don't mind it at all. The texture is a semi thick brown liquid that absorbs quickly. It claims to balance skin for a youthful and healthy glow. I like using this because it feels luxurious on. This is definitely a hydrating product. As far as helping other products getting better results, I haven't seen that yet. This is my first Sulwhasoo skincare product , and I am going to purchase more.
sulwhasoo - Gentle Cleansing Oil EX So far, I love the lightweight texture of the oil, its ability to melt off all kinds of makeup that I have and easy to rinse off too! As for the foam cleanser, I just love the gel texture and the fact that it's making my skin feel softer after every wash; not making my skin even drier on top of that literally just blown me away.
I was curious to see if the hype was real....and this is a very, very lovely serum. Life changing? Maybe not, but certainly something I'd like to have in my routine for a long time to come. The sulwhasoo first care activating serum is a luscious serum with traditional medicinal herbs. It absorbs quickly without stickiness and gives me a really good amount of hydration. I've been using it as my only serum step for the past week and I'm impressed at how my skin hasn't suffered at all by decreasing the number of steps in my routine. Sometimes a short and easy routine is what I need! I do avoid putting this on my dermatitis patches because there's some alcohol in this serum, but the rest of my face continues to be plump and bright. There are some great antioxidants and although I don't think this is going to smooth out all my fine lines it is definitely helping in the overall luminosity and glow department.
Sulwhasoo-First Care Activating Serum
After 6 months of usage does this really work?
So I purchased this product almost about a year ago when my original essence Sulwhasoo - First Care Activating Serum also known as Yoon Jo Essence ran out and I didn’t have the 90 dollars to repurchase it 😢. I’ve been using this Missha essence religiously for the last 6 months and I haven’t noticed any huge differences on my skin. While I do notice that it does moisturize my skin more and it does help my skin feel a bit smoother. But since I stopped my Sulwhasoo essence my skin has a bit more fine lines again and I don’t think the Missha essence helps with this . To experiment for about two weeks I stopped using this essence but used all other products as usual then I reintegrated this product and only noticed a bit more moisturizing that gives momentary smoothness and brightness but that’s it. Nothing long lasting. Perhaps for me this product isn’t enough but I do think that this product is a bit over hyped. I believe that there are better essences out there. I still gave it four stars because it still did help my skin even if it was only temporary and you get a good quantity for a reasonable price so I’m not mad at it.
