🌙💤Current Nighttime routine
🌚This is my basic night routine at the moment, even though I’m still considering some new products to possibly add or swap out... Feel free to ask me any questions in the comments💕 I use the products in the following order: YVES SAINT LAURENT - Top Secrets Universal Makeup Remover Balm in Oil First part of my double-cleanse. I haven’t worn makeup since the beginning of quarantine, but it’s still really necessary to break down all the sunscreen I wear. This is a nice cleansing balm, it’s very silky & light compared to others, & has a lovely scent. I haven’t tested it yet for removing makeup though. fresh - Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash A favorite of mine, I did a full review of this product in a previous post🍓I love this gentle exfoliating cleanser! DIOR - Hydra Life Balancing Hydration 2 in 1 Sorbet Water Check out my review of this hydrating, prebiotic toner in a previous post. MAY COOP - Raw Sauce 🍁My holy grail essence, it’s 93% maple extract. Check out my recent post for my full review & ingredient breakdown. Sulwhasoo - First Care Activating Serum Limited Edition Such an amazing serum! I need to do a more detailed review soon. ESTĒE LAUDER - Perfectionist CP+R Wrinkle Lifting/Firming Serum I don’t use this every night... it’s actually a great daytime product because it’s matte, smoothing & pore perfecting. Honestly it makes a great (but expensive) makeup primer! fresh - Lotus Anti-Aging Night Moisturizer Just did a review on this night cream, feel free to check it out. I just emptied it, so instead I used: NARS - Aqua Gel Luminous Mask This is really great product to relieve irritated skin. It has a lot of marine extracts. I did a full review of this in a previous post💙🦪This product really impressed me! Finally I’ll finish my routine with a decadent lip balm LANEIGE - LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask Also previously did a full review of this new Gummy Bear scented lip sleeping mask & the corresponding lip glowy balm🧸💜so moisturizing!!! ☁️goodnight beauties☁️
Current lil daytime routine⛅️🥱🍓💦🌹✨
I’m always trying new things & samples, but this is my basic routine for the AM🧡 Feel free to ask me any questions in the comments! I use the products in the following order: fresh - Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash My favorite exfoliating cleanser! There’s a full review in a previous post if you wanna check it out🍓 DIOR - Hydra Life Balancing Hydration 2 in 1 Sorbet Water A great toner I reviewed in my last post. Sulwhasoo - First Care Activating Serum I did a first impressions review of this not too long ago... I am still totally loving it. I now crave the fresh herbaceous scent that I wasn’t sure about at first. I find this to be working really well with my skin, always calming & soothing. I still feel like I haven’t been using it long enough (less than a month) to speak on anti aging benefits. Expect a more thorough review in the future, but I can solidly say I love this Hanbang (traditional Korean herbal medicine) skincare product. fresh - Rose & Hyaluronic Acid Deep Hydration Moisturizer 🌹I’ve used this for a while, but I’m on the lookout for something new. This moisturizer leaves skin pretty shiny but I love the way it feels. Cooling & refreshing, with a pretty strong rose scent. I may be having a slight reaction to it when I apply it though. I noticed it makes my light warm toned skin very pink right after, only for a little bit, but it doesn’t happen when I rub in other products, so it’s not physical. I read a review with a customer experiencing the same issue chalking it up to the rose extract. I have always loved rose extract & don’t recall having issues before... just something to consider. SHISEIDO - Urban Environment Oil-Free UV Protector Broad Spectrum Face Sunscreen SPF 42 I’ve used this face sunscreen for years. There are some better options perhaps... now that I want to switch over to fully mineral sunscreen (this has zinc, but also chemical sunscreen.) Nonetheless this has always kept me from being burnt, never irritated my eyes (initially what landed me on this particular sunscreen because everything else I tried hurt my eyes at some point) I like shaking it up, the thin texture is easy to apply & leaves a matte finish. I actually feel like this has helped clear up my skin at times, I recommend for acne sufferers. Has a tiny bit of a white cast, but not bad at all. ARMANI beauty - Fluid Sheer Glow Enhancer I apply this to my cheeks for a very angelic & natural glow over my sunscreen☁️💗( I use shade : 08) clé de peau BEAUTÉ - UV Protective Lip Treatment Broad Spectrum SPF 30 I did a full review on this recently... I wasn’t impressed for $65 LANEIGE - Lip Glowy Balm 💜this gummy bear scented lip balm! See full review🐻🍭 SHISEIDO - Shiseido Eyelash Curler Less of a curve than most, my holy grail

Luxurious Foaming Face Cleanser 💫
I love cleansers - there is something satisfying about washing the day away, so I was excited when Sulwhasoo gifted me their Gentle Cleansing Foam. Foam cleansers are one of my favorite forms of cleansers because of how luxurious it feels on the skin & the calming sensation it can give - it’s a real treat for the skin! 💫 This gel cleanser transforms into a lathering foam that is infused with botanical extracts for nourishment & cleansed the skin without stripping your skin - leaving your skin soft, hydrated & balanced. This formula contains citrus peel to help brighten the skin, as well as chestnut shell extract. It effortlessly removes makeup, dirt, & debris from your pores. It is best suitable for those with normal, combination or oily skin types. You get a whopping 6.76 fl oz, retailing for just $38 which makes it a fair price point for this luxurious cleanser; and can be purchased directly on Sulwhasoo’s website or Sephora. 💫 Sulwhasoo - Gentle Cleansing Foam Hydrating Makeup Remover
K-beauty 🧡 Gentle cleansing Oil Makeup Remover is an oil-based cleanser that infused with apricot kernel oil and tangerine peel extract hat helps to remove waterproof makeup and impurities. I am using this as my first step in my double-cleansing routine. After that, I am using the First Care Activating Serum which is designed to use as the first step after cleansing. This lightweight serum helps to boost the absorption of other skincare products you used. It contains JAUM Balancing Complex™, a potent cocktail of five Korean herbs that hydrates, nourishes your skin, and improve your skin texture. ⠀⠀ I am always impressed with Korean beauty products which I think are very effective. This lightweight serum is suitable for all kind of skins and is free of sulfates SLS and SLES, parabens, and phthalates. I have introduced this serum to my skin routine for a week, so far I am liking it. I love the silky smooth texture which is not greasy and absorbs quickly. ⠀⠀
Melts Away The Makeup For My Sensitive Skin
Sulwhasoo - Gentle Cleansing Oil Makeup Remover I saw this on Sulwhasoo Instagram page, particularly in that promo video they did with Joan Kim. Her face is just poreless! It’s a typical Korean skin that’s porcelain-like, glowing, with an even texture. So it sounds about right that I’ll try whatever it is that she puts on her face. I don’t know if it’s the quarantine but these days, I’ve been shopping a lot online, especially for beauty products. I’m so eager to try new products to see what suits my skin. I threw this luxe cleansing oil in my cart alongside 4 other Sulwhasoo products. Its consistency is like 1 part oil, 1 part water. It smells like a hotel bathroom - you know, the fresh soap scent that smells super clean. That’s how it smells like. I applied one 1 full pump on my dry face and it did melt my makeup. I continued massaging the product on my face for about a minute cause it just felt so luxurious. It felt so soft and smooth. Then, as Joan Kim suggested, I wet my hands and continued to massage my face. It became a bit foamy. So yes, it did its job of cleaning my face. I think it’s a great product to have as a first cleanse. I recommend this to you if you have dry combination skin like mine cause it doesn’t strip my face with its natural oils, perfect for individuals who have thirsty skin.
Perfect Oil Cleanser to Cleanse the Skin
#Sulwhasoogiftedme Gentle Cleansing Foam @sulwhasoo.us describes this cleanser as “a gel cleanser that gently pulls dirt, makeup, and buildup from pores while softening the look of skin with a blend of botanical ingredients.” and that’s exactly what it is (and much more!) I’ve been using this cleanser non stop for a couple weeks now (sorry all the other cleansers I’ve been neglecting) and I’m so impressed! Although it foams up, it doesn’t dry out or irritate the skin at all. The gel has a honey texture, and the foam feels very nourishing and gentle on the skin. It works great both as a standalone cleanser and/or as a second cleanse after removing makeup with a balm or an oil. It leaves the skin feeling very refreshed and clean without being tight or dry. Another winner from Sulwhasoo! . . . . gifted #cheriecreatorSulwhasoo - Gentle Cleansing Oil Makeup Remover

I got a free sample of this from Sephora with my order. When I looked it up, I was so excited to try such an expensive moisturizer, since I’ve always stuck to cheaper ones. Is it super moisturizing? YES. My skin feels great after one use. It even has a glow! But, does it smell like a chain smokers house, YES! I have no idea what gives it that horrible odor. But I would have expected such a pricey cream to be scentless or at least smell good! I ended up washing it off because it gave me a headache. So unfortunate.

. Details: 🍂 • Traditional Korean herbal cream. Formulated with ginseng concentrates to restructure skin from deep inside with ginseng essence. Eliminate the signs of aging. • Benefit: Anti-aging • Form: Cream • Skin Type: For All Skin Types . . 💭 What a cream. First, it smells just like Ginseng. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it but after a while, it wasn't too noticeable. I use this cream at night. I started with a small portion and worked my way up the next few days. I wasn't sure how my skin would react to the new ingredient so I started slow. It's very hydrating and absorbs nicely into your skin. My skin feels soft, smooth and renewed when I wake up. Anything to help with anti-aging is my friend. The downfall, is the price. It's definitely expensive so be mindful
Sulwhasoo Ginseng Renewing Cream
This is my first time trying out @sulwhasoo.us product, and I gotta day, the hype is real! . This is a very lovely, luxurious cream. It’s on the richer side, but it’s not too heavy. The texture is very smooth and even a bit liquidy. I was very excited to start using it, because of ingredients it has such as ginseng (most importantly), salicylic acid, retinol and more. The cream promises to help with multiple signs of aging, dulness, uneven texture and skin tone all while enhancing moisture. . I’ve been using it on and off for around three weeks, and so far I’m liking it. It feels great on the skin. It’s not too heavy, but also rich enough to satisfy for combination/dry skin. I haven’t seen any major changes in my skin, but some small ones here and there; whenever I use this cream, I don’t break out as much, and it helps to calm any breakouts I do have. It also helps to make my skin look smoother and more even toned. I also love how nourishing and hydrating it feels. It’s definitely amazing at keeping the moisture in! . All in all, I think this cream works very well, and will deliver great results if used long term. The great experience with the cream definitely makes me excited to try more from the brand! . . here are some of my everyday makeup that help me to get a natural makeup, if i could live with just one product in this bag it would be the kaja puff radiant mousse primer because the glow it gives me is amazing 💕
Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum - Formulated with JAUM Balancing Complex - a blend of Rehmannia, Lotus, Peony, White Lily and Solomon's Seal that provides a balanced and well-hydrated skin. I've tried a sample of this before along with the cream and I really loved it! 🌸 Bloomstay Vitalizing Water - Hydrating and absorbs quite fast ~ It makes my skin plump and locks in moisture thanks to Green Plum Blossom and Korean Yuju Extracts. My skin feels supple after and it smells really nice!! With that, use with caution because it has fragrances and alcohol. However there weren't any bad reaction on my end. 🔆 Perfecting Cushion Brightening NO. 17 - My deal with most cushions would be the wrong tone up they give me. Good thing their light beige is just right! It blends really nicely and it looks natural. I am not a huge fan of heavy coverage so this is just perfect! It's weightless and it brightens my overall complexion.

Sulwhasoo Perfecting Cushion Intense and it took me a few applications to actually figure out using a cushion foundation. This is my first time ever trying anything like this. The applicator picks decent amount of product and the pressing and stamping (I believe that is what it is called) spreads it easily. The product does not feel heavy on the skin. Layers well with other products too. Coverage is really good. It is neither too matte nor too greasy. It leaves an even, silky smooth layer (almost too smooth to be true). Longevity is pretty good. Stayed without breaking on my dry but well prepped skin for 6 plus hours. The color I chose is no.25 and it is supposed to have yellow undertones. The color is too light for my extra tan skin but i think it will work better once I lose that tan. . . The compact is lovely, chic, snaps shut and has a mirror making it very easy to travel with. Cushion Foundations are convenient but I am more of a traditional foundation person. I miss the brush n sponge blending. Also I think traditional liquid or powder foundations can be adjusted a shade up or down but with cushion foundations an exact match is needed for flawless looking skin. . . This is my first experience with cushion foundations and honestly I am not so sure if I like it or not. Maybe as I try and use a few more brands, I will get better in using it to its full potential and probably have something similar to compare. For now, I will stick to what I know the best. .
This beautiful compact is the Sulwhasoo Perfecting Cushion Intense foundation. The color I chose is no.25 and it is supposed to have yellow undertones. Please swipe next to see the color on my arm. It is pretty close to what it looks in real life. Unedited picture. .

Serum with a Honey like texture
#Sulwhasoogiftedme Another great product from @sulwhasoo.us ’s Bloomstay line. What I love the most about this serum, and what I never felt with any other, is the texture of it. It feels just like honey! It spreads and glides over the skin with easy and sinks in relatively quick, leaving the skin feeling nourished. The serum is more on the richer, thicker side, but it’s not heavy at all. I’ve been using it on and off for weeks and I’m quite pleased with it. I enjoy the hydrating and nourishing benefits this serum provides, especially on the days when my skin feels like it needs extra TLC. It doesn’t provide the benefits that a lot of people usually look for in their serums (such as help with texture, dark spots, ace, etc.). The things that it does promise are help with loss of firmness and elasticity. I don’t have much problem in that department, but my skin does feel bouncier whenever I use this. If you’re looking for a serum that will feel lovely on the skin and is also luxurious, definitely give this one a look! . . . . gifted #cheriecreator Sulwhasoo - Bloomstay Vitalizing Serum
Dang...these are good. sulwhasoo Bloomstay vitalizing line and while I've only had the chance to test them for a few days, my first impressions are really good. I'm definitely within the target age-group for this range (mid 30s). This line is nourishing, but unlike more intense anti-aging products, it doesn't feature super buttery, heavy textures. Instead each step is hydrating but has enough richness to replenish skin that isn't 20 years old anymore. Though it would definitely work for a 20-year old too! I just wish I could have afforded a $300+ routine when I was 20 (which is already quite a bit less than their high end anti-aging lines) lol! I've also, for the first time in a while, had a skincare routine made up of one brand's products - I've been using the Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum (not pictured) and these three products exclusively for a few days. And everything does layer beautifully with no excess stickiness or pilling, coming together at the end with the right amount of hydration vs richness. I can see why people would stick to one brand for their entire routine.
✨🦋 Sulwhasoo Perfecting Cushion Compact 🦋✨
This years Sulwhasoo limited edition refillable compact was created in collaboration with Antoinette Poisson. Sulwhasoo is a Korean luxury skincare & cosmetics company, known for their “ 한방 /Hanbang “ (traditional, holistic Korean medicine) formulations. ‘A Paris chez Antoinette Poisson’ is a world renowned design house inspired by 18th Century decorative arts & production techniques. Founded in 2012, the collective produces exquisite printed papers, decorative objects & fabrics from their atelier in Paris. Named after Louis the XV's favorite mistress, The Marquise de Pompadour, both patron of the arts & wallpaper enthusiast. Sulwhasoo - Limited Edition Perfecting Cushion 2020 Spring Collection 🧵So beautiful... & plush, just like a real pin cushion! For this limited edition compact, the studio of artists at Antoinette Poisson reinterpreted traditional Korean symbols of love, prosperity & happiness in colorful & metallic embroidery. Both limited edition & regular Sulwhasoo cushion compacts retail for $65 & come filled, plus 1 refill. This is no longer available on Sulwhasoo’s site, but online stores like Bergdorfs, Nordstrom & Bloomingdales still have it in a few shades! I included some pictures of gorgeous ones from years past in my slides🦋🦌 Now onto the formula! Sulwhasoo - Perfecting Cushion Broad Spectrum SPF 50+ Sunscreen shade: 23 I didn’t know if the shade I purchased was going to be correct, but I really wanted the limited edition compact! I figured I can grab a refill in another shade later. I was extremely impressed by this! I love that it has SPF 50 from a mainly mineral source & the moisturizing formula has Niacinamide as the 8th ingredient. Other botanical extracts include, Honey, Sacred Lotus flower, Peony, Solomon’s Seal, White Lily & Rehmannia. In addition to the shade concern, I was worried it would be too high coverage or too dewy for my liking based on some descriptions of the product. It boasts patented “Slim Fit High Coverage” claiming to “conceal discoloration & uneven tone as it lightly applies to skin...” Fancy descriptors can be really confusing, & often cushion compacts offer lighter coverage in general, so I still decided to try this based on so many 5⭐️ reviews on their site. I was looking for an easy to blend, light-med coverage, that would even out my tone & add radiance... this is IT! So natural!✨ I couldn’t be happier with the formula! It has a lovely soft herbal scent with a hint of light florals. So pleasant, not strong. Hydration wise, it’s very comfortable to wear & apply. My skin felt moisturized all day wearing this. After 5 hours, I could have used a light touch up, but nothing major (check all photos) I didn’t lose any coverage, just got a little shiny around my nose, quite normal for me. I don’t think the shade is that wrong either, it blends so well, & I hate looking pink! The finish is perfect, smooth & radiant, not overly matte, so I feel healthy & glowy! i💚the refill concept♻️
Limited Edition Cushion
I was gifted this Limited Edition Cushion Compact in shade #23 Natural Beige. Since Spring is here this cushion was designed so perfectly with the flower embroidery and the touch of pink of the side which makes you fall completely in love with it! This cushion compact does have Broad Spectrum SPF 50+ Sunscreen so your are fully protected during the daytime! It is so comfy to wear and easy to apply onto the skin as well! The shade is still a little too light for me but on a positive side note I have that gorgeous dewy look that everyone strives for!
sulwhasoo First Care Activating Mask . Have gotten a sample for sheet mask? Not those full-sized mask with label “Not For Sale” because I do have them. I’m talking about this mini sheet mask that probably gonna cover an area as big as my eye. It’s the first time I’ve tried it; of course I know what to expect as I’ve tried its origin product, First Care Activating Serum EX and the BA at the counter mentioned that a single sheet mask actually contains a third of a bottle of that first serum. 😱 . Knowing that I’ve already started to love the first serum, I gotta say that the sheet mask is probably one that I could die for! . Got the sample from Sulwhasoo counter here in Parkson Imago. Box of 5 is retailing at RM230.

Hey beauties so I wanted to share with you this this luxury brand called sulwhasoo. This was my first time trying it and it is really amazing!! My skin never felt so smooth like the way it did it’s definitely worth it but super expensive ________________________________ 1st Step: I removed my makeup with biorea “Charcoal Cleansing Micellar Water” 💦 to remove all my makeup without having to rinse it off and this is great if you have oily skin ! 2nd Step: I used sulwhasoo“Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Creamy Mask” this is amazing because it is a 2 part mask but is An anti-aging creamy mask thats makes the skin appear elegantly radiant and firm which cost $120 😱😱 this is the most expensive mask I have ever tried 3rd Step: I used qyksonic to massage the serum into my skin Lastly: •I used sulwhasoo“Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Cream” this is literally the best thing I have ever tried in my skin !!!!!! Literally my skin felt brand new because , of the rich texture and hydrated finish as well as a glowing, healthy look. This cost $240 and it’s WORTH IT !!!
I've been using this past month to try some new products and I've got to say, thank you@skintellectfor recommending The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%! It's been such a game changer. Current AM routine: 1. Sulwhasoo - Gentle Cleansing Foam Hydrating Makeup Remover 2. Sulwhasoo - First Care Activating Serum 3. Sulwhasoo - Essential Balancing Water 4. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% 5. Sulwhasoo - Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Eye Cream 6. Sulwhasoo - Essential Firming Cream+ sunscreen Current PM routine: 1. Sulwhasoo - Gentle Cleansing Foam Hydrating Makeup Remover 2. pixi - Glow Tonic 3. I DEW CARE - Bright Side Up Brightening Vitamin C Serum 4. Sulwhasoo - Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Eye Cream 5. Sulwhasoo - Essential Firming Cream I've also switched to using the AZTEC SECRET - Indian Healing Clayfollowed by a sheet mask once to twice per week (instead of once per week) and The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solutiononce every 1-2 weeks (instead of every week). The clay mask has been a godsend lately! I've been breaking out so badly from wearing a mask everyday at work. Definitely also loving MARIO BADESCU - Mario Badescu Drying Lotionright now for spot treating. How is everyone else dealing with mask-related breakouts right now?
The Ordinary-AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution
After 6 months of usage does this really work?
So I purchased this product almost about a year ago when my original essence Sulwhasoo - First Care Activating Serum also known as Yoon Jo Essence ran out and I didn’t have the 90 dollars to repurchase it 😢. I’ve been using this Missha essence religiously for the last 6 months and I haven’t noticed any huge differences on my skin. While I do notice that it does moisturize my skin more and it does help my skin feel a bit smoother. But since I stopped my Sulwhasoo essence my skin has a bit more fine lines again and I don’t think the Missha essence helps with this . To experiment for about two weeks I stopped using this essence but used all other products as usual then I reintegrated this product and only noticed a bit more moisturizing that gives momentary smoothness and brightness but that’s it. Nothing long lasting. Perhaps for me this product isn’t enough but I do think that this product is a bit over hyped. I believe that there are better essences out there. I still gave it four stars because it still did help my skin even if it was only temporary and you get a good quantity for a reasonable price so I’m not mad at it. MISSHA - Time Revolution FTE Intensive Moist
Sulwhasoo-First Care Activating Serum
I was curious to see if the hype was real....and this is a very, very lovely serum. Life changing? Maybe not, but certainly something I'd like to have in my routine for a long time to come. The sulwhasoo first care activating serum is a luscious serum with traditional medicinal herbs. It absorbs quickly without stickiness and gives me a really good amount of hydration. I've been using it as my only serum step for the past week and I'm impressed at how my skin hasn't suffered at all by decreasing the number of steps in my routine. Sometimes a short and easy routine is what I need! I do avoid putting this on my dermatitis patches because there's some alcohol in this serum, but the rest of my face continues to be plump and bright. There are some great antioxidants and although I don't think this is going to smooth out all my fine lines it is definitely helping in the overall luminosity and glow department.
