P.m. skincare routine. Suggestions ?
Here is my pm skincare routine. Started to care about my skin couple months ago only. Never had major issues but fine lines are starting to appear and let’s face it, I was bored during quarantine. I wanted to give double cleanse a try but had trouble finding a drugstore cleansing balm. I came across cocokind - Oil to milk cleanser and was pleasantly surprised. Works okay on make up and is gentle with nice ingredients. I wish the gliding would be a bit more smooth though. I can sometimes feel some pulling and tugging. 🌾 I follow with sioris - Cleanse Me Softly Milk Cleanser as I like milky cleansers. This one is fine especially in colder weather but I sometimes feel like its a bit heavy and not deep cleansing enough. I prefer LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser but have run out. 🥛 I then follow with a first essence and a toner. People always say they are not essential in your routine but they’re actually my fave step. Adding soothing and hydrating ingredients without any heavy/greasy texture (I damaged my skin barrier after over exfoliating). I'm from - Mugwort Essence & COSRX - Propolis Synergy Toner are the ones I’m using right now. My skin agrees with both and it calms down any redness or tight feeling after cleansing. 🐝 I wanted to try snail mucin and was missing a small amount for free shipping (I know you feel me) so opted for MIZON - Snail Repair Eye Cream . Haven’t seen any results on the fine lines around my eyes yet as its only been a couple weeks but the texture is amazing and light and silky. 🐌 Once a week I will use THE inkey LIST - Retinol Serum . Will step up to two times a week very soon. Just started my retinol journey and almost made the mistake to go with a 1% OTC retinol. Boy am I glad I did some research. This one is 0,05% retinol. Would really like your recommendations for a next step retinol for my next purchase :). I end the routine with CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion . Really love this. It has niacinamide which is nice because I don’t use it in serum form. I have it in my am toner as well and its just enough for me. Would maybe wanna switch up for a heavier moisturizer for winter if you have any suggestions. Cerave is always sold out in drugstores so wanted to try something else when I run out. Please feel free to recommend products you like. I will mention I use I'm from - Honey Mask and dear, klairs - Midnight Blue Calming Cream on nights my skin feel really bothered (like the night after I used the retinol) I adore the mask but will not be repurchasing the klairs cream. Its a bit overpriced and overrated in my opinion. I will gladly pay less for a similar white “less instagramable” cream. Any suggestion for this one as well? 🍯💙

🤩It’s okay to be extra🤩
🧼 Double cleanse!!! MONAT VANISHING BALM and surprise surprise, CERAVE FOAMING CLEANSER 💧 Hydrate: REVOLUTION HYALURONIC ACID.. I apply this when my face is still wet-ish. This holds 1000x its weight in water. I love this brand, but will try Inkey to see if it’s less sticky 💧Hydrate again: MONAT REVITALIZING ESSENCE -hydrates, calms, brightens, and has so many beneficial ingredients 🧴 Exfoliate: PAULA’S CHOICE 2% BHA -The best salycilic acid I’ve used, non drying, non irritating, great formulation 💊 Treatment: DERMATICA tretinoin and niacinamide - Retinoids are recommended by so many dermatologists, whether you’re fighting wrinkles or acne. Dermatica is an online dermatology service. 💧 Moisturize: MONAT AGE REWIND SERUM mixed with CERAVE MOISTURIZING CREAM - The serum is packed with peptides and antioxidants - This moisturiser is cheap and does an amazing job! Protect that skin barrier 👁 MIZON SNAIL REPAIR EYE CREAM: Snail creams are amazing and inexpensive

Honest Review: Mizon AHA & BHA Daily Clean Toner
Although I’m not that prone to breakouts, I do get a lot of blackheads and whiteheads, especially around my t-zone area. I’ve always had combination skin so while my cheeks are mostly dry, my forehead, nose, and chin tend to get oily when it gets warm and humid. Before, I relied mostly on physical exfoliation and extraction to get the job done. However, that’s not really recommended since it can wear out the skin over time. So when I first found this toner after searching for AHA/BHA products, I was pretty excited. Mizon AHA & BHA Daily Clean Toner promises to prevent all my skin problems–blackheads, whiteheads–and more. It also claims to be able to repair and rejuvenate the skin. Pretty nice, if you ask me. My expectations weren’t really high since this was just a random find, plus I view toners simply as a prepping step before I get into my heavy-duty products. I only have three conditions: It doesn’t make me break out. It doesn’t make me oily. It can be combined with my other skincare products. So, how did this AHA & BHA Daily Clean Toner fare? 💋💋💋💋 4 out of 5 kisses! It’s good enough for daily use (ha!) since it fulfilled pretty much all of my conditions. What I loved the most about this product was how lightweight and gentle it was on my skin. In fact, I had a hard time taking a swatch photo because it almost has the same consistency as plain water. Since it was lightweight, it got absorbed quickly, which meant I could use it in the morning too. In fact, Mizon actually advertises this toner to be used twice a day, for both your AM and PM skincare routine. That’s how gentle it is to the skin. That said, I didn’t really feel like it wasn’t really HG material so after finishing the bottle I chose not to repurchase. Not that there’s anything wrong with it, it’s just that I was still getting the same problems as before. It did help me a bit with the blackheads but I felt like I was better off looking for something else. If you’re interested in this product, you can check it out here on Cherie for only $15.86. MIZON - AHA & BHA Daily Clean Toner What about you, have you tried this product before? Did it work for you? Let me know in the comments!

Very oily skin?? Look here ⬆
About me: 44 yrs old, brunette, light-med skin tone, combo skin (oily t-zone, dry face), dark spots (from sun), dark circles and bags. So there it is folks! Just a peek into the universe of my insecurities in which I'm proudly and expensively working on... °I absolutely LOVE snail mucin creams. They're known for being very hydrating and depending on which one you purchase, are also known for being safe/great on sensitive skin! I found my first snail product a couple years ago and decided to switch to a better known brand MIZON - All-in-One Snail Repair Cream BIG MISTAKE! This gel/cream has a silky, sheer and slippery texture. little is needed to evenly spread onto the face and neck area. It absorbs fairly quickly and dries down to a matte finish. Ok your probably thinking, "what's the problem," at this point, right? It's waaay too drying. It dries down to a matte finish almost as if my face drank an entire cup of water and was still thirsty. It enlarged my pores instantly and when I opened my mouth or raised my eyebrows I could feel how tight the gel/ cream made my skin. In the picture you can see redness around my mouth from just opening anf closing it. This might be great for very oily and sensitive skin types. °This one is NOT for dry skin. IMO I gave 2 stars because I like the slippery, non fragranced texture. °Pros: slippery texture, small product amount needed per use, no fragrance, no color, 92% snail mucin, product lasts a long time, very affordable, can be found easily online. °Cons (for ME, could work for YOU): dries to a matte finish, too drying, enlarges pores, skin feels uncomfortably tight. I will be looking into purchasing a different snail cream since I really liked my original snail cream but I want a snail product with more UUMFFF to it! Any suggestions would be great! °Sorry MIZON - All-in-One Snail Repair Cream I really wanted to love and keep you but when I gave you a spin, you dearly disappointed me. It's ok, maybe you'll be someone else's HG!

Rosacea/enlarged pores/blemishes
Hi beautiful ladies, This is my skin. I am sorry for the partial pictures, I am too embarrassed to post my full face. I was diagnosed with rosacea (some redness but mostly red papules which never go away), have enlarged clogged pores especially on my nose and forehead, combo skin, blemishes, sun spots, uneven texture and so on... This is currently my routine that helped a lot with reducing the amount of red blemishes and made my skin smooth (like butter according to this app :) although my rosacea is mostly gone, I feel very self conscious about its appearance. I included some pictures of how my skin used to look with a rosacea flare up. Here is what I use now: 1. Cleanser with sulfur (prescribed by dermatologist) 2. ETUDE - Etude House SoonJung pH 5.5 Relief Toner very hydrating, smoothing the skin. 3. I just added Elizavecca - Hell Pore Control Hyaluronic Acid Serum feels smooth, does not irritate my skin however it is too early to say if it’s doing anything to my pores. Before this I used serum with niacinamid. 4. dear, klairs - Rich Moist Soothing Cream my skin loves this cream even though it might be a little heavy for the summer. At night I sometimes add azelaic acid (prescribed) or soolantra (prescribed) but more for a spot treatment as I have been using it for the whole year now and I think it helped a lot with smoothing the skin. Sometimes I use MIZON - All-in-One Snail Repair Cream which I like just because it does not irritate my skin and feels like it reduces shining in my t- zone area Or I use SKE DERM - Snail Jelly Mask which is amazing! I wake up after this mask with soft and plump skin. Once a week I use Cetaphil - Pro DermaControl Purifying Clay Mask but I don’t think it exfoliates my skin enough however it is gentle and my skin does feel good after this mask. However, my skin issues are still obvious and I would like to get any advices on how to deal with it. Thank you in advance!

WHY I LOVE TONER
I LOVE TONERS. Here’s the thing about toner - it’s a complete MYTH that you need one for the purposes of rebalancing the pH of skin after washing your face. That’s ancient advice (marketing, really) from when pH-balanced liquid facial cleansers hadn’t been invented yet and people used alkaline soap bars to cleanse their faces. Toners these days serve different purposes, but the two most common categories I see are exfoliating toners and hydrating toners. Today, I’m going to talk about my favourite type - hydrating ones. I started using a hydrating toner about six years ago and I haven’t looked back. In fact, I still use the same brand today - Hada Labo. My skin is oily, but around six years ago I started using Differin for my acne. The side effects of this include skin that dehydrates easily, so I needed to start using a product that helped that. My research pointed me to Hada Labo toners, and the first one I tried was the Hada Labo Shirojyun Toner. To use a hydrating toner like this, all you need to do is pat in a small amount until fully absorbed. If you want to, you can use it for the ‘7 Skins Method’ a method where you pat in 7 layers of toner. It’s easy to do because toners are usually very watery products. This is my favourite thing about toner - the bottles are larger and you can pat in more layers of products, so they’re MORE effective and better value than applying a single layer of hydrating serum. Right now I’m trialling the Mizon toner and I actually don’t like it that much - it’s just ok. Same with the Hada Labo Premium Gokujyun Toner. I love the Isntree Toner, it's the most like the original Hada Labo toners that I've tried Do you use hydrating toners? HADALABO - Hada Labo Shirojyun Albutin Medicinal Whitening Toner HADALABO - Gokujyun Premium Lotion MIZON - Snail Repair Intensive Toner ISNtree - Hyaluronic Acid Toner

My Korean Skincare Routine for Acne!!
SATURDAY SKIN - RISE + SHINE Purifying Cleanser AROMATICA - Rose Absolute First Serum MIZON - Snail Recovery Gel Cream BANILA CO - Dear Hydration Toner I was on accutane for 4 months in 2019, and I thought I found the cure for my acne. Unfortunately, I started breaking out again in February of 2020. My breakouts went back and forth, but either way they left me with more PIE (Post Inflammatory Erythema aka those RED/PINK marks leftover from acne) My skin was also insanely dry and painful!! Any face wash I used just burned and irritated my skin even more! I didn’t have a consistent skincare routine, so I turned to peachandlily.com to look for a Korean skincare routine that’s also cruelty free. I think I found my new go to routine! It’s pretty simple, but after only 2 weeks I am satisfied with the products so far. Of course they don’t create miracles, but I don’t have any current breakouts (which I’m surprised my skin didn’t purge), my skin is MUCH more hydrated, and I feel as though my PIE looks slightly lighter! I started with the Saturday Skin Rise + Shine Purifying Cleanser, then use the Banila Co Dear Hydration toner to help with my acne, follow it with the Aromatica Rose Absolute First Serum, and finish it off with the Mizon Snail Recovery Gel! The Saturday Skin cleanser surprisingly leaves my skin moisturized! The Banila Co toner has peppermint extract to help calm acne. The Aromatica serum has niacinamide which is supposed to help calm acne and fade both PIE and hyperpigmentation. The Snail Recovery Gel has snail mucin to help calm acne and also moisturize with anti-aging effects! Overall I’m very satisfied with this new routine, and I will update in a month to see how my skin is doing!

Bottled Confidence

dr. brandt - Clean Biotic From the first time I used this overnight sleeping mask I saw and felt immediate results the next morning, NO JOKE! I absolutely adore this mask, it’s SO soothing and smells SO good and while you enjoy these factors as you drift off to sleep 😴 you can take comfort knowing it’s repairing your skin while you get your beauty sleep! Hands down best over night mask evaaaaarrrr😁💚 MIZON - All-in-One Snail Repair Cream So it’s kind of a funny story how I ended up buying this product (which is effing INCREDIBLE). I was buying Peach and Lily’s Glass Skin serum and I needed to spend a bit more money to get free shipping 😂! So I decided to give the Mizon all in one snail 🐌 repair cream a shot. And omg am I ever happy I did! This moisturizer (which can be applied morning and night) not only hydrates deep down into the skin but after a month of using it, I stopped wearing coverup and I was getting compliments left and right about my skin - I was baffled but SO happy I could cry, that was the first time ever in my life that: 1. I stopped using coverup and 2. That I felt comfortable and beautiful in my own skin for the FIRST time ever in my life. Mizon has given me the gift of great skin and confidence, and I am eternally greatful 🥰❤️❤️❤️! #CherieConversations

🔮Mizon Collagen 100🔮
🔮Mizon Collagen 100🔮
MIZON - Collagen 100 🔮Skin type/skin tone I have combination skin. My skin tone is warm ivory with a slight reddish discoloration in my cheeks 🧐 🔮Product function The product claims to firm the skin while providing hydrtion and anti-aging properties by using ingredients such as 90% marine collagen, /vitamin B5, raspberry extract, hyaluronic acid, and birch tree sap. 🔮Texture/consistency The texture and consistecy of the product is viscous yet thinner than usual serums. 🔮Packaging The packaging is unique. It has a cute roundish glass body and uses a glass dropper mechanism. The dropper is really effective and is easy to control the amount of product you want. Beauty story📖 🔮Overall experience A while back, I was still new to serums and was looking around at kbeauty products when I ran into this product. There were many great reviews on this product so I purchased it right away. I started to use this product righ after I washed my face. It is absorbed into my face so quickly and does not leave it feeling sticky or tacky. After it dries, my face becomes super soft and slightly tightened. 🔮Verdict I really like this product since it does what it claims. It makes my skin so so soft and actually makes it looked more refreshed and plump. 🔮Recommend? This product claims to be for all skin types and even though it doesn't feel like it clogs the proes nor does it cause excessice oil production, I would recommend it to people with combination, dry, and normal skinned peeps. Also sensitive skin since my skin did not become irritated. This is because this does provide quite the hydration so I feel like oily skin would not need this product that much. 🔮Worth it?💰 The product retails for $42 but if I remember correctly, I got it somewhere else online for $17 so make sure if you want to buy this product look around so you can get a cheaper price. Make sure it is the legit product though! I feel like if you can find this product for around $15-20 it is worth it since it does do what it claims but I feel like the serum I have right now which is more expensive (works better too) is more worth it. So if you can't find this product for the cheaper price it is not worth it! There are better serums out there.

Why I Love Sheet Masks 💗
Why I Love Sheet Masks 💗
Today, I'm going for a classic sheet mask. While your skin won't change after 30 minutes of wearing a sheet mask, they're a lovely addition to your skincare routine. Here's why I love sheet masks: 1) They're travel-friendly 2) They are mess-free 3) They can be chilled for extra anti-inflammation power My skin has been acting up lately (I'll talk more about that soon). So, to help keep everything under control, I'm choosing this one with royal jelly. 🍯 Used both topical and orally, royal jelly is antibacterial, which can help fight acne-causing bacteria and prevent infections. Plus, it's said to help boost collagen production to speed up cell turnover, which equals in a new skin, aka less dark spots. 💗 Are you a sheet mask lover? What's your favorite one? When talking about affordable
When talking about affordable options for skincare. I think it good to include all budgets. mizon AHA 8% Peeling serum. This is quite a good serum at slightly lower levels of aha than some of the more popular western brands but I still think it works nicely. I use this sometimes when my skin can’t handle the higher amount of acids. hadalabotokyo Moisterising whip foam. I always have a bottle of this around, it’s gentle, cheap, ph balanced and is sold in all the supermarkets in Asia. klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drops and Midnight Blue Calming Cream. The vitamin drops is quite a nice gentle vitamin c serum, containing 5% asorbic acid. Not strong enough for me but a serum that’s pack with quite a few goodies like peptides and Centella. The cream is great for irritated skin and sunburn, containing guaiazulene. cosrx is a popular brand, quite simple ingredients and a good price point, I’m still trialing their stuff, i haven’t had a The next start with their stuff but the BHA power liquid is great, I use it on more congested areas. The face wash is cheap and ph balanced. A little to dry for my skin but some would like it. heimish All Clean Balm. Does a good job of removing make up and sunscreen. I use as a first cleanse. It doesn’t have the best smell but the tub will last you a while. So this is just a little run down of some budget-midpoint options.

Best Eye Cream: 3W Clinic, Mizon, AHC?
Best Eye Cream: 3W Clinic, Mizon, AHC?
There’s an old saying that my mom used to tell me when I was younger: you can see how old someone is by their neck, their hands, or their eyes. Eye wrinkles are some of the earliest signs of aging. My mom was very insistent about that. She’s already in her 50s now but she gets mistaken as my friend or my older sister all the time, thanks to her wrinkle-free, flawless skin. That’s why even though I was only in my late teens then, I decided to already add eye creams to my routine. Here are three products that I’ve tried before. The first one I tried was MIZON - Snail Repair Eye Cream when I was still a university student. That was 5 years ago, and until now, this product is still a fan-favorite from the Korean skincare-loving crowd. I noticed some nice effects after just a few weeks of using this product. My eye area already seemed brighter and smoother. I would’ve stuck with this if only it was cheaper. It cost around $20 for 25ml of product which I found kinda pricey as a student. Next up is 3W CLINIC - Snail Eye Cream Yes, snail products were all the rage a couple of years back, haha. I really liked this product for two main reasons: one, affordability and two, value for money. It cost me only $7 for 40ml worth of product, which was a pretty great deal if you ask me. As an eye cream, I think it was less effective than Mizon’s, since the results weren’t as drastic. I used this for quite some time before giving it to my boyfriend. The last product is AHC - The Real Eye Cream For Face Season 5 I know, what a confusing name, right? Apparently, this can be used for the entire face, but since it cost around $19 for a 30ml tube, I reserved it for my eye area alone. I actually bought this alongside 3W Clinic (because I couldn’t decide which one was better haha) but I ended up finishing this one instead of 3W Clinic. Like Mizon, it managed to make my eye area brighter, smoother, and plumper. It made my eyes look alive, basically. I would have to give AHC the top spot out of these three, although they’re all pretty great products. If budget is your concern, 3W Clinic is a nice choice. It’s a close call between AHC and Mizon, but considering the price and the size of the products, you’re probably better off with AHC. Have you tried any of these? What’s your favorite eye cream? Feel free to share in the comments below!
