🌜simple night time routine 🌛
My nighttime skincare routine is one of my favorite parts of the day. It’s the time when I begin to relax and take off everything the day has thrown at me. With that being said the nighttime skincare routine should be geared toward healing, treating, and repairing. It’s so important to have a well balanced nighttime routine. 🌜🌜🌜🌜 My first step is always using BIODERMA - Sébium H2O it’s the best micellar water I have ever tried and it’s super gentle. Oily/combo skin folks will LOVE this because it really does do a great job breaking down oil and removing dirt/makeup. (not pictured) Step two is always COSRX - Low PH Good Morning Gel Cleanser Although it says morning I always use it at night because it’s pH balanced and very gentle. It won’t strip your skin which is so important especially if you plan to go in with active ingredients after. Step 3 on DAMP skin I apply The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 it helps my skin retain moisture and prepares it for the next steps in my routine (not pictured for a detailed review see my previous post) Step 4 I pat in ETUDE - SoonJung pH 5.5 Relief Toner which is my absolute HOLY GRAIL toners, it not only keeps skin hydrated, but it’s also pH balanced and helps protect the skin barrier. This is probably my 20th bottle of this stuff. It’s incredible. Step 5 Is ETHEIR DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel or The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% I would never use these in the same routine. Instead I alternate and use each one every other day. Differin is a great product , it helped clear my skin up so fast. (I do plan on doing a more detailed review soon so stay tuned) The niacinamide has also worked amazing in balancing my sebum production and lightening my hyperpigmentation. Both of these products are amazing if you suffer from acne. Step 6 I use my MIZON - Snail Repair Eye Cream which I’ve talked about before. It’s really moisturizing and if you have very allergy prone eyes like me this is an absolute MUST. The price is also really affordable! Step 7 ETUDE - SoonJung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream My last and favorite step is of course this moisturizer by Etude House, I use it day and night and I can’t sing it’s praises enough. It’s just the perfect fit for all skin types and does an amazing job at protecting the skin barrier. 🌛🌛🌛🌛 Do you use any of these products or would you like a more detailed reviews on a specific part of my routine? Let me know! Sweet Dreams!

🌤Easy A.M Routine🌤
I love to sleep, so the last thing I want to do at 5:30am when I wake up is a ridiculously long skincare routine. However, the A.M routine is just as important as your nighttime routine. Especially when it comes to UV protection. simple is sometimes all you need. 🌤🌤🌤🌤 I always use a cleanser with active ingredients in the A.M, really no particular reason other than so use a gentle one at night. Some by Mi- 30 Day Miracle Acne Clean Foam It’s really creamy, but if you have skin that’s more sensitive it may be a little drying. To me it smells like menthol and it does have a minty feeling. Usually this would be bothersome, but it’s super gentle. It also contains Centella Asiatica which is great for redness relief. I then liberally spray HERITAGE STORE - Rosewater Aromatherapy Water Rose Petals as a moisture/toner step. I don’t really need this step but I love the smell so much. It does provide some moisture but nothing too crazy. ETUDE - SoonJung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream This is by far my absolute favorite moisturizer. It sinks in really fast and has no scent and is perfect for any skin type. I can’t possibly count how many tubes I’ve purchase but it’s so so incredible. I love Korean eye creams. Unlike their western counterparts you get so much product for a very wallet friendly price. MIZON - Snail Repair Eye Cream is by far my favorite, the snail mucin can have brightening effects and I have seen a decrease in my dark circles, but it could be because I’ve been getting more sleep. My eyes are really sensitive and dry from allergies, but i’ve had no issues with irritation. It sits well under concealer and it’s the first eye cream that stops my concealer from creasing. My final step and obviously the MOST IMPORTANT is sunscreen. All you young humans please wear your sunscreen, you won’t regret it! I’ve been using Bioré - UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF50+ for around 8 years and its the best I have found so far. It has a very light scent, leaves no white cast, and is non greasy. It sinks in really quickly, and kind of acts as a primer for makeup because it has make me less oily. If you hate sunscreen, do yourself a favor and try this. I really don’t think you’ll regret it! 🌤🌤🌤🌤 Have you tried any of these products? If so what’s your favorite?

Rosacea/enlarged pores/blemishes
Hi beautiful ladies, This is my skin. I am sorry for the partial pictures, I am too embarrassed to post my full face. I was diagnosed with rosacea (some redness but mostly red papules which never go away), have enlarged clogged pores especially on my nose and forehead, combo skin, blemishes, sun spots, uneven texture and so on... This is currently my routine that helped a lot with reducing the amount of red blemishes and made my skin smooth (like butter according to this app :) although my rosacea is mostly gone, I feel very self conscious about its appearance. I included some pictures of how my skin used to look with a rosacea flare up. Here is what I use now: 1. Cleanser with sulfur (prescribed by dermatologist) 2. ETUDE - Etude House SoonJung pH 5.5 Relief Toner very hydrating, smoothing the skin. 3. I just added Elizavecca - Hell Pore Control Hyaluronic Acid Serum feels smooth, does not irritate my skin however it is too early to say if it’s doing anything to my pores. Before this I used serum with niacinamid. 4. dear, klairs - Rich Moist Soothing Cream my skin loves this cream even though it might be a little heavy for the summer. At night I sometimes add azelaic acid (prescribed) or soolantra (prescribed) but more for a spot treatment as I have been using it for the whole year now and I think it helped a lot with smoothing the skin. Sometimes I use MIZON - All-in-One Snail Repair Cream which I like just because it does not irritate my skin and feels like it reduces shining in my t- zone area Or I use SKE DERM - Snail Jelly Mask which is amazing! I wake up after this mask with soft and plump skin. Once a week I use Cetaphil - Pro DermaControl Purifying Clay Mask but I don’t think it exfoliates my skin enough however it is gentle and my skin does feel good after this mask. However, my skin issues are still obvious and I would like to get any advices on how to deal with it. Thank you in advance!

Bottled Confidence
dr. brandt - Clean Biotic From the first time I used this overnight sleeping mask I saw and felt immediate results the next morning, NO JOKE! I absolutely adore this mask, it’s SO soothing and smells SO good and while you enjoy these factors as you drift off to sleep 😴 you can take comfort knowing it’s repairing your skin while you get your beauty sleep! Hands down best over night mask evaaaaarrrr😁💚 MIZON - All-in-One Snail Repair Cream So it’s kind of a funny story how I ended up buying this product (which is effing INCREDIBLE). I was buying Peach and Lily’s Glass Skin serum and I needed to spend a bit more money to get free shipping 😂! So I decided to give the Mizon all in one snail 🐌 repair cream a shot. And omg am I ever happy I did! This moisturizer (which can be applied morning and night) not only hydrates deep down into the skin but after a month of using it, I stopped wearing coverup and I was getting compliments left and right about my skin - I was baffled but SO happy I could cry, that was the first time ever in my life that: 1. I stopped using coverup and 2. That I felt comfortable and beautiful in my own skin for the FIRST time ever in my life. Mizon has given me the gift of great skin and confidence, and I am eternally greatful 🥰❤️❤️❤️! #CherieConversations

WHY I LOVE TONER
I LOVE TONERS. Here’s the thing about toner - it’s a complete MYTH that you need one for the purposes of rebalancing the pH of skin after washing your face. That’s ancient advice (marketing, really) from when pH-balanced liquid facial cleansers hadn’t been invented yet and people used alkaline soap bars to cleanse their faces. Toners these days serve different purposes, but the two most common categories I see are exfoliating toners and hydrating toners. Today, I’m going to talk about my favourite type - hydrating ones. I started using a hydrating toner about six years ago and I haven’t looked back. In fact, I still use the same brand today - Hada Labo. My skin is oily, but around six years ago I started using Differin for my acne. The side effects of this include skin that dehydrates easily, so I needed to start using a product that helped that. My research pointed me to Hada Labo toners, and the first one I tried was the Hada Labo Shirojyun Toner. To use a hydrating toner like this, all you need to do is pat in a small amount until fully absorbed. If you want to, you can use it for the ‘7 Skins Method’ a method where you pat in 7 layers of toner. It’s easy to do because toners are usually very watery products. This is my favourite thing about toner - the bottles are larger and you can pat in more layers of products, so they’re MORE effective and better value than applying a single layer of hydrating serum. Right now I’m trialling the Mizon toner and I actually don’t like it that much - it’s just ok. Same with the Hada Labo Premium Gokujyun Toner. I love the Isntree Toner, it's the most like the original Hada Labo toners that I've tried Do you use hydrating toners? HADALABO - Hada Labo Shirojyun Albutin Medicinal Whitening Toner HADALABO - Gokujyun Premium Lotion MIZON - Snail Repair Intensive Toner ISNtree - Hyaluronic Acid Toner

Honest Review: Mizon AHA & BHA Daily Clean Toner
Although I’m not that prone to breakouts, I do get a lot of blackheads and whiteheads, especially around my t-zone area. I’ve always had combination skin so while my cheeks are mostly dry, my forehead, nose, and chin tend to get oily when it gets warm and humid. Before, I relied mostly on physical exfoliation and extraction to get the job done. However, that’s not really recommended since it can wear out the skin over time. So when I first found this toner after searching for AHA/BHA products, I was pretty excited. Mizon AHA & BHA Daily Clean Toner promises to prevent all my skin problems–blackheads, whiteheads–and more. It also claims to be able to repair and rejuvenate the skin. Pretty nice, if you ask me. My expectations weren’t really high since this was just a random find, plus I view toners simply as a prepping step before I get into my heavy-duty products. I only have three conditions: It doesn’t make me break out. It doesn’t make me oily. It can be combined with my other skincare products. So, how did this AHA & BHA Daily Clean Toner fare? 💋💋💋💋 4 out of 5 kisses! It’s good enough for daily use (ha!) since it fulfilled pretty much all of my conditions. What I loved the most about this product was how lightweight and gentle it was on my skin. In fact, I had a hard time taking a swatch photo because it almost has the same consistency as plain water. Since it was lightweight, it got absorbed quickly, which meant I could use it in the morning too. In fact, Mizon actually advertises this toner to be used twice a day, for both your AM and PM skincare routine. That’s how gentle it is to the skin. That said, I didn’t really feel like it wasn’t really HG material so after finishing the bottle I chose not to repurchase. Not that there’s anything wrong with it, it’s just that I was still getting the same problems as before. It did help me a bit with the blackheads but I felt like I was better off looking for something else. If you’re interested in this product, you can check it out here on Cherie for only $15.86. My Korean Skincare Routine for Acne!!
SATURDAY SKIN - RISE + SHINE Purifying Cleanser AROMATICA - Rose Absolute First Serum MIZON - Snail Recovery Gel Cream BANILA CO - Dear Hydration Toner I was on accutane for 4 months in 2019, and I thought I found the cure for my acne. Unfortunately, I started breaking out again in February of 2020. My breakouts went back and forth, but either way they left me with more PIE (Post Inflammatory Erythema aka those RED/PINK marks leftover from acne) My skin was also insanely dry and painful!! Any face wash I used just burned and irritated my skin even more! I didn’t have a consistent skincare routine, so I turned to peachandlily.com to look for a Korean skincare routine that’s also cruelty free. I think I found my new go to routine! It’s pretty simple, but after only 2 weeks I am satisfied with the products so far. Of course they don’t create miracles, but I don’t have any current breakouts (which I’m surprised my skin didn’t purge), my skin is MUCH more hydrated, and I feel as though my PIE looks slightly lighter! I started with the Saturday Skin Rise + Shine Purifying Cleanser, then use the Banila Co Dear Hydration toner to help with my acne, follow it with the Aromatica Rose Absolute First Serum, and finish it off with the Mizon Snail Recovery Gel! The Saturday Skin cleanser surprisingly leaves my skin moisturized! The Banila Co toner has peppermint extract to help calm acne. The Aromatica serum has niacinamide which is supposed to help calm acne and fade both PIE and hyperpigmentation. The Snail Recovery Gel has snail mucin to help calm acne and also moisturize with anti-aging effects! Overall I’m very satisfied with this new routine, and I will update in a month to see how my skin is doing!

When talking about affordable
When talking about affordable options for skincare. I think it good to include all budgets. mizon AHA 8% Peeling serum. This is quite a good serum at slightly lower levels of aha than some of the more popular western brands but I still think it works nicely. I use this sometimes when my skin can’t handle the higher amount of acids. hadalabotokyo Moisterising whip foam. I always have a bottle of this around, it’s gentle, cheap, ph balanced and is sold in all the supermarkets in Asia. klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drops and Midnight Blue Calming Cream. The vitamin drops is quite a nice gentle vitamin c serum, containing 5% asorbic acid. Not strong enough for me but a serum that’s pack with quite a few goodies like peptides and Centella. The cream is great for irritated skin and sunburn, containing guaiazulene. cosrx is a popular brand, quite simple ingredients and a good price point, I’m still trialing their stuff, i haven’t had a The next start with their stuff but the BHA power liquid is great, I use it on more congested areas. The face wash is cheap and ph balanced. A little to dry for my skin but some would like it. heimish All Clean Balm. Does a good job of removing make up and sunscreen. I use as a first cleanse. It doesn’t have the best smell but the tub will last you a while. So this is just a little run down of some budget-midpoint options.

Why I Love Sheet Masks 💗
Why I Love Sheet Masks 💗
Today, I'm going for a classic sheet mask. While your skin won't change after 30 minutes of wearing a sheet mask, they're a lovely addition to your skincare routine. Here's why I love sheet masks: 1) They're travel-friendly 2) They are mess-free 3) They can be chilled for extra anti-inflammation power My skin has been acting up lately (I'll talk more about that soon). So, to help keep everything under control, I'm choosing this one with royal jelly. 🍯 Used both topical and orally, royal jelly is antibacterial, which can help fight acne-causing bacteria and prevent infections. Plus, it's said to help boost collagen production to speed up cell turnover, which equals in a new skin, aka less dark spots. 💗 Are you a sheet mask lover? What's your favorite one? Some of my HGs and everyday faves
Some of my HGs and everyday faves
Anyone recognize any of these products? I’ve been using them all for a while and I’ll do a short review of them: 🔅Bang eyeshadow/eyecream: 5/5-easy, quick and beautiful bronzy coloured shimmery cream that goes on so creamy and leaves a perfect shade on your lids, the shade and the pigment is so good that any skin colour would be able to use it. 🔅Mizon Collagen Eyecream: 4,7/5- This is my everyday eyecream! It’s my favourite eyecream because of the packaging, the price, the ingredients, the product and how it works under my eyes. It’s like having a filter under your eyes, brightens, reduce puffyness and the most important; your eye wrinkles are not as visible! The packaging could be less messy. 🔅Laneige Lip mask: 5/5- my HG, my love and the potion to my lips! I love this one and everything about it. Keeps my lips juicy and kissable. I wake up without the tight sensation on my lips. 🔅Decleor Hydra Floral cream: 4/5- It’s super thick, very hydrating and leaves my skin feeling so glowy and moisturized. The -1 point is because of the scent that sometimes irritates my skin. 🔅The Body Shop masks: 4/5- I love them both but both of them actually can be a bit drying. 🔅Missha Super Aqua Cell Renew Snail Cream: 4/5- It’s a gel cream and I had this with me on my long trip in Greece and it did wonders, really kept my skin moisturized and also not oily.. but BUT it has both fragrance AND alcohol and now when I’m back in Sweden, it dries me OUT! So yes for warmer, more humid temperatures, NO for dry, cold temperatures.

Budget Care for Eye Wrinkles and Dark Circles
Budget Care for Eye Wrinkles and Dark Circles
You care a lot for your skin, but do you ever notice the skin around your eyes? My skincare routine consists of all the basics: cleanser, toner, essence, serum, spot treatment, moisturizer, and of course, eye creams. I’ve already talked about some of my favorite eye creams before like AHC - The Real Eye Cream For Face Season 5 and MIZON - Snail Repair Eye Cream so today, I’m going to talk about three kinds of products that also help me take care of the skin around my eyes. 1. Sheet Masks Sheet masks are good for the entire face, but they can be really beneficial for your eyes as well. As you know, these kinds of masks are packed with serums or essences that can really help in caring for your skin, including your eye area. One of my favorite budget masks is POND'S - Skin Brightening Serum Mask which costs only $1.99 per sheet mask. It brightens up my entire face as well as the area below my eyes. Plus, it’s just so refreshing. 2. Eye Pads Eye pads refer to those products that you put over your eyes. I normally just use real fruits or vegetables when I’m at home, but infused pads work well too, especially when I’m out traveling. The best budget eye pads I’ve found is PUREDERM - Hydro Soothing Cucumber Pads costing $1.99 per pack of 10 pads. Each pad contains cucumber extract, which is really great if you want to soothe your tired eyes. 3. Under-Eye Patches Under-eye patches, as the name implies, are used for your under-eye area. Most of the patches I’ve seen and used before are for dark circles, which is perfect for me because while I don’t really have huge bags, I do get dark circles a lot, especially when I’m doing late-night work. Not only can under-eye patches reduce the appearance of dark circles, but they can also help with fine lines. One budget product that I’ve been using for quite some time now is PUREDERM - Dark Circle Reducer Eye Patches which retail for around $1.49 per pack of 4 patches. You typically just put them on your under-eye area and leave them there for about 30 minutes or so. Have you tried using eye pads and under-eye patches below? I’m still looking for the best products in these categories so if you’ve got any suggestions, feel free to share in the comments below!
