Dove Exfoliating Body Polish
So I’m used to using high end body scrubs and wanted to try a more budget friendly option! I have used some of Dove’s products in the past and have always liked what I tried! This product smells absolutely amazing. And the scent lasts long after my shower! I love that this gets dead skin off so easily and the beads are so small. This doesn’t leave any kind of residue like I’ve experienced before with some body scrubs. I will definitely be repurchasing this product! Dove - Exfoliating Body Polish Body Scrub

anyone have any advice? :(
I’ve been struggling with this acne for so long :( it’s pus filled and very painful, and hormonal but they take forever to go away and it leaves scar although I don’t pick at it. the products I’ve been using are CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin and Cetaphil - Daily Facial Moisturizer for 3 months, day and night. I also used to use Dove - Sensitive Skin Beauty Bar r two months but I switch to theCeraVe - Acne Foaming Cream Cleanser and I’ve only been doing that for about a week (only using the cerave SA cleanser in the mornings). I don’t use face masks or anything, these are the only products I used. My face gets oily at my T-zone but my cheeks get very dry so I barely barely use a tiny bit of aquaphor on them. Any suggestions of what I can do? Anything will help :(

This Saved My Rough Elbows!
So I used three products and this was my week difference this is KP (melanin version)
FIRST AID BEAUTY - KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub with 10% AHA I was skeptical about this at first but combined with my cloth and lotion it really worked! It has 10% glycolic & lactic acid. ($28)
ALPHA SKIN CARE - Revitalizing Body Lotion my very first post on Cherie was about this lotion! I use it on my entire body and have seen tremendous results! It’s 12% glycolic acid & leaves my skin moisturized and smooth! I use it everywhere ! Please use sunscreen the following day to avoid sun damage ! ($17.99)
THE SALUX SHOP - Nylon Washcloths the original exfoliating clothes. (Also apart of my very first post). These are the Japanese award winning clothes that changed the way I shower forever. They’re exfoliating so if you have sensitive skin please take caution. I got them from amazon 2 for $10 ! I’ve had them for 6 months and they’re still like new. They said they’re self cleaning, but I’ve washed mines like three times since I had them! (DONT DRY THEM).
I also use Dove - Sensitive Skin Beauty Bar before this treatment. Since I’m using many acids (which are perfectly fine to mix together) I want to make sure I’m not doing any other harsh damage to my skin.

easy body physical exfoliation
**not my photo!
While I love a good chemical exfoliant for my face, I really find that it’s not really enough for the skin on my body. I use a glycolic acid body wash almost every day and I still end up with sticky skin even after I moisturize. I’ve tried body scrubs and while they can be effective, I feel like I waste a lot of product because it dissolves so easily. I also find that my chest, especially between my boobs, has these little bumps and it gets somewhat oily .
I was listening to the “Fake Doctors, Real Friends” podcast (ANYBODY A “SCRUBS” FAN???!!!), and they mentioned washing their bodies with washcloths. So I decided to try it! I just took an old face washcloth that is a little more on the rough side rather than the soft and I lathered it up with my Dove - Beauty Bar Soap and began scrubbing all over my body. While I’m sure it doesn’t match the intensity of a Korean scrub, I imagine it’s a step toward that amazing exfoliation treatment.
As soon as I stepped out of the shower, I could feel the smoothness of my skin and my body lotion went on very smoothly with minimal stickiness.
I love how easy it is to use a washcloth and although all the bumps and the sweaty feeling on my chest isn’t completely gone, I love how smooth it immediately makes my skin feel. I have a ton of washcloths and I always use a new washcloth each time I exfoliate, and I always follow up with my Aveeno - Daily Moisturizing Lotion to seal in the moisture.
I’ve been wanting to try a dry brush if anyone has recommendations!
What other ways do you use to exfoliate your body?

How To Get The Softest Legs On Earth
One thing I absolutely hate on myself is body hair. I always have, I like silky smooth skin. I do everything I can to remove the hair & achieve the smoothness I desire. Of course with the way I usually remove it, shaving, there comes some consequences, like razor burn, red bumps, cuts, ya know. So I have search near & far for products to prevent that & will give me smooth legs in particular because that’s the part of my body I shave the most!
So I have come up with a whole routine to keep my legs hairless & smooth! & I am now ready to share that routine with all of you!
Here goes nothing.
1. I will wash my body with either a body wash or just Dove bar soap. 🧼
2. Shave with a NEW disposable razor 🪒 Lately I’ve been using Soliel brand.
3. Wash legs & the rest of my body with Dove Exfoliating Body Polish. I love this stuff, it makes my skin soooo soft & it smells amazing! My favorite scent is the Pomegranate Seeds & Shea Butter.
4. Turn off the water in the shower & while your body is still wet, rub OGX Lavender Essential Oil Wet Skin Lotion. This stuff is literal MAGIC! Not only does it somehow prevent those pesky red dots & bumps from appearing where I just shaved but it makes my skin extremely soft & smell amazing!!
5. Step out of the shower, place a bathrobe, towel dry hair & do hair routine. By the time I’m done with that, the Wet Skin Lotion will have fully absorbed. Now I go over my whole body with regular lotion. My two favorites right now are Jergens Body Butter Lavender & Love, Beauty, & Planet Argan Oil & Lavender. (Yes, I’m currently on a Lavender kick if you haven’t noticed lol I switch back & forth between that & Rose scents)
& I’m done! My skin is clean, silky smooth, & there isn’t a blemish (from shaving) in sight!
Try it out & you’ll never shave the same again!
Thanks for reading! Talk to you guys soon 💖💋

Yes you can glow during quarantine✨
I love body care. It’s the staple to feeling good and feeling confident (especially during summer months). I love to exfoliate my skin & to make sure any darkness, bumps, & stretch marks go away.
I use (L👉🏽R)
Dove - Beauty Bar Soap this is in the “Summer Care” edition it’s smells like mangos and guava.
PACIfICA - Sugared Crystal Supercharged Body Scrub smells like watermelon and other fruits. I love this as a scrub for those days I want extra extra clean. It’s vegan too 💕
BROOKLYN BOTANY - Arabica Coffee Body and Face Scrub I love this scrub. It does have a very strong coffee smell but it gets the jobs done. It’s also blended with coconut oil to leave a moisturizing effect of your skin. I use this mainly on my stretch marks.
Dove - Exfoliating Body Polish Crushed Macadamia & Rice Milk this really smells like vanilla to me. It’s probably the lightest of my scrubs and products I use to exfoliate. It leaves a nice conditioned feel on my skin. I use this before I use my soap and it leaves my skin super smooth.
-Dry brush I got from amazon. I use this once a week & mainly in my stomach, thighs, & butt. Always rub towards your heart (proper way to detox lymphatic system). I always use this dry before I get into the shower & make sure I rinse and wash that area really well.

They smell divine and leave behind a shine🤍
Tried these for the first time a couple nights ago. And I have to say that I am absolutely in love and will continue to purchase these. They smell absolutely delicious, very flattering smells. They feel light and fluffy like a cloud when you touch them they’re very airy.
After using, my skin felt like:
My legs were very soft and they had shine to them, without any lotion or anything! It was very gentle on my skin and didn’t cause any irritation!
Overall
If you’re looking for an inexpensive body polish/scrub, this is the way to go!

Empties and Their Replacements 🖤🌈
Hey, friends!!
I hope everyone’s month is off to a great start!
New month, new product replacements. Here are my month’s empties and their replacements! 🙏🏻🤍
CAUDALIE - Limited Edition Beauty Elixir oh my did I LOVE this spray! The smell was fantastic, it was like having my face in a pile of rose petals. It truly made my skin feel fresh and wonderful! Most of the complaints say that since it has fragrance, it’s not good for your skin, but I find that to not be true for me. I don’t really have sensitive skin, it’s pretty normal, so honestly the fragrance doesn’t bother me at all. It made my pores look smaller, my skin glow, and it really has been helping me with my maskne. Just a few pumps into my mask like 30 minutes before I wear it and I noticed I haven’t had as many breakouts due to my mask. Unfortunately, this was a limited edition scent so even though this one was my favorite, I still like the brand and the benefits of the spray so I got the CAUDALIE - CAUDALIE Beauty Elixir in the original scent. It’s not as nice as the rose that’s why I docked it 1 star but it’s still pretty refreshing.
Briogeo - Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-exfoliating Scalp Scrub Shampoo best shampoo for dry scalp, hands down! Is smells great, it feels amazing, and it lathers so nicely, especially when I use my Briogeo - Scalp Revival Stimulating Therapy Massager with it! The only problem is I wish it came in a bigger size because it only lasted me about 2 and a half months and I only wash my hair twice a week.
Murad - Oil and Pore Control Mattifier SPF45 PA++++ 50ml I got this in the small trial size and I absolutely loved it. The spf was creamy but didn’t leave any residue and it didn’t make my face peel like some spfs. I can also see a difference in my pore visibility and oil production when I use this product. 5/5⭐️
Now my last empty is Dove - Dry Spray Antiperspirant & Deodorant Rose Petals it’s not the rose petal smell but this was the closest I could find to my deodorant. I like that it’s a spray and I like the scent but I don’t like that it has aluminum. I love the dove brand and their bar soaps are perfect for my skin (coming soon to another post) however I’m looking for an all natural deodorant. Also this deodorant says 48 hour coverage but it doesn’t even last me the whole day so it’s a little frustrating.
Anyone have a favorite natural deodorant or brand? Help a girl out 🙏🏻

🐘First Impressions: n@tural deodorant newbie!
I’ve detoxed aluminum for a couple months now & excited for my first real foray into natural deo!
I have tried Tom's OF MAINE - Fresh Apricot Natural Long Lasting Deodorant a long time ago, but it really didn’t cut it for me when I was a waitress.
I started using:
🌹Dove - Dry Spray Antiperspirant & Deodorant Rose Petals earlier this year... Its my favorite scent of all the Dove Dry Sprays, a pretty elevated Rose scent for a drugstore brand! But, like most antiperspirants, it does contain aluminum.
Old fave:
CLARINS - Gentle Care Roll-On Deodorant This contains aluminum as well, but alcohol free. This was a 5-star product & basically a holy grail product for me for years, but then it suddenly stopped working for me. It made me sweat even more!
It was wildly out of my price range for a deodorant when I discovered it in college. Working across the street from a mall (& on the same block as Sephora😍) led me to spend many lunch breaks trying samples & feeling bougie. Going to Sephora before work to tone, serum, moisturize & do makeup is a story for another day-real broke bitch shit🙋🏻♀️
This deodorant smelled so much better, more fancy & refined than others I’d tried from Walgreens or Target. It had a somewhat liquidy texture that dried pretty quickly, but maybe not fast enough for some people.
Still give it 5⭐️because it was a game changer for me & so effective fort quite a long time- until it wasn’t. I’ve heard of this happening with antiperspirants though?
My first impressions:
DRUNK ELEPHANT - Sweet Pitti Deodorant Cream
Scent:
I wasn’t sure what to expect of the scent, but it’s quite pleasant. Smells sorta sweet like Almond oil🤎
I was really impressed by how it smelled on/off my body, because there’s always a difference...
I can be really stinky at times since I go through a lot of temperature changes due to my condition, causing me to sweat sometimes even in the cold.
Keeps me fresh, but I do need to reapply.
Ingredients:
Instead of aluminum as the 2nd ingredient, like most antiperspirants, Sweet Pitti utilizes DE’s star bodycare ingredient: Almonds!
The AHA, Mandelic Acid, derived from Almonds is both water & oil soluble. This quality that allows it to penetrate & remain effective within the hair follicle. This alpha hydroxy acid is also a great bacteria killer🦠-which is the singular reason why sweat stinks!
⚠️Using any ol’ AHA on your sensitive armpits won’t be a good idea, but Mandelic Acid is milder on skin than Salicylic or Glycolic acids, due to a larger molecule size.
So, while the aluminum present in antiperspirants attempts to prevent sweat by physically blocking your sweat glands, this deodorant uses powder from Arrowroot plant as an absorbent ingredient.
Texture:
Don’t twist too much or too fast with this- can get messy. It’s very creamy, you don’t need much. Doesn’t feel wet for too long & I haven’t noticed any staining on my clothes yet.

I’ve never been one to go above and beyond regular bar soap as a body wash but I found this drugstore product by Dove- and its just lovely. This product pumps out and foams up like shaving cream does, and when lathers on the skin like a dream and leaves skin feeling super soft and hydrated after washed off. Bonus: you can actually use it as a shaving cream- which I found useful after lathering with it, and still kept my skin hydrated! I don’t typically get the same hydrating benefits from using an actual shaving cream so this felt pretty unique.
On top of that, we get the rose essential oil in this product, which of course smells amazing, I like that the fragrance in this product comes from an essential oil rather than synthetic fragrances and parfums ingredients, plus rose essential oil is known to be calming and is actually used to treat many health concerns when used in aromatherapy. They have 3 aromas of this product and I cant wait to try the other two.

Bath products | Dove Body Wash Mousse
So I don’t actually use this body wash mousse as a body wash. If I did, I wouldn’t have rated it as highly. Because of the rose oil in the product and the consistency of the foam, I didn’t think it actually worked as a body wash.
However, this makes an amazing shaving cream. Because it’s a little heavier in texture, it helps my razors glide across my legs, under arms or whatever other area I’m shaving without fear of nicks or scrapes. This bottle has lasted me a while, I think I got it back in the summer. So I definitely recommend this as a shaving cream. As a body wash, not so much.

Winter body care ❄️
I LOVE TO SMELL GOOD AND HAVE SOFT GLOWING SKIN!
Dove body wash: it’s so soft on the skin and you will smell so nice for the winter weather! And it hydrates your skin well. It’s perfect for my sensitive skin! ❄️
Dove deodorant: this deodorant lasts all day! It makes me smell really good and fresh! It’s perfect for sensitive skin. ❄️
Treehut body scrub: This body scrub is amazing! It makes my skin feel so soft and smooth. I only do it twice a week because it can be harsh on my skin. If you have sensitive skin stay away but it works really great for me! ❄️
Vaseline Cocoa body oil: this keeps my skin so hydrated and shiny. It’s perfect for the winter weather when your skin starts to dry out. Keeps keeps your skin shiny and smooth. You can use it in the shower and out of the shower. But the scent is amazing. ❄️
You can find me say your local drugstore! ❄️

✨𝕊𝕙𝕠𝕨𝕖𝕣 ℝ𝕠𝕦𝕥𝕚𝕟𝕖✨ During my shower routine I use three products. I use a body wash, and one of the scrubs shown above👆🏽.
The first product I use is Dove - Shea Butter with Warm Vanilla Body Wash Pump this product is a wonderful use, it leaves my skin feeling really smooth and soft afterwards. I recommend you use this body wash if you want your skin to be feeling like baby’s skin.
The second product I use isTREE HUT - Coco Colada Shea Sugar Scrub first, the scent smell’s wonderful, when I first smelt it I thought I was in 🥥sugar scrub wonderland🍍. This product contains shea butter, coconut, and pineapple. This scrub is my personal favorite as of the scent, I also love how the scrub makes my body soft. The other product is the same kind of scrub, but different scent and ingredients. TREE HUT - Shea Sugar Scrub Almond & Honey this scrub has the same effects as the first scrub. The smell to the product isn’t unique like the other scents by Tree Hut, it smells like a hair product, but still lovely. Thank you for taking your time and reading my reviews, and take it into consideration. Have a good evening✨

Budget body scrubs I ❤️❤️❤️!!
Hey guys!
Until last year I’ve only ever used one body scrub: lemon juice + sugar + rose water (and I still advocate it strongly!)
But I wanted to try something new so I started out with MAJESTIC PURE - Himalayan Salt Scrub and then tried Dove - Exfoliating Body Polish Crushed Macadamia & Rice Milk and I love them both! A detailed description of both is below:
MAJESTIC PURE - Himalayan Salt Scrub
Makes my skin feather soft!
The oils in it leave a residue (or essence?) but not in a bad way, I barely notice it but it feels great! (PS: my skin is dry so my skin actually feels very moisturized after this)
Has a wonderful scent
Texture: it’s like a loose powder and not a paste, you’ve to scoop and apply
Supposed to have a lot more qualities like relieving muscle cramps, improve circulation, combat water retention, etc. I can’t attest to them very strongly as I didn’t notice too much of a difference
I use it on dry skin before I shower
Dove - Exfoliating Body Polish Crushed Macadamia & Rice Milk
Makes my skin soft (not as soft as the Himalayan salt one)
Suuuper affordable
Smells decent (I prefer the lychee scent myself)
Texture: Whipped cream-ish
I feel like I need to use more quantity of this scrub to get the same results as the salt one
I use it on wet skin but I don’t know if it matters if you use it on dry either
I don’t use either scrubs on my face because my cheeks get irritated but on the rest of the body they work great!
Both of these don’t break your bank and I love them both.. As of now I’m a little bit more inclined towards the Majestic Pure scrub but I don’t think you can beat the price of Dove! As a side note, I’m also considering using nourishing oils with my natural lemon body scrub to see if I achieve better results coz I am nuts for anything citrusy and I really prefer natural ingredients!
Cheers! ✨

Dove Go Fresh Sakura Blossom Body Wash
Impression
Lightweight, clear, pinkish gel, easy to rinse body wash.
Thoughts
I’d expect Dove body wash to be heavy and creamy but I was wrong! I love the scent, no doubt! But it’s not often for me to encounter refreshing Sakura scent that usually associated with sweet scented products. .
Overall, I really do like it and definitely will be purchasing for myself.
